Downtown Cary Park: what do users think?
C.L.: Been under construction for at least 5 years now. It has been driving local residents insane and to think, when it is all done, it will be nowhere near as beautiful as it once was. What a shame what Cary leadership has done to the downtown area. I guess in the name of progress, we must tear down trees and build large concrete structures. If the construction is ever complete, I will fairly reevaluate at that time.
Kincaid Realty Brendan Kincaid: still under construction but should be completed late 2023!
Susan Charlton: Very nice and not crowded. We do seem to get cornered by the tattooed mentally ill man who lives there most times. It is very unsettling.
Carol Hesse: Beautiful place for the whole familyLove watching the park be developed. New planting are done in the open park with drip irrigation
Peter Del Sordo: Great selection of shops and restaurants to choose from.Dog-friendliness: Many businesses are dog friendly.
Eric Barbour: Ain't open yet.Playground: Going to be awesomeRestrooms: Gonna be plentyDog-friendliness: Has a dog parkPicnic area: I think so
D R: Attended music event sponsored by Cary with food trucks, cider company and brewery vendor. Warm temp., clear sky with close to full moon and nice lawn. Foosball, bocce ball, ping pong, checker games available. Closed until summer 2023. Construction progressing in early 2023.
Morgan Giovanni: It's looking great.Had a blast working on this site.
David Oara: Downtown Cary will get Goggles super secret 6th star when they finish the construction.
Andrew: Great Christmas lights displays
Balachandran R: Good
Daniel Wilkerson: We checked out the free not ice skating skating rink. Pretty fun.
Reymond Martinez: Beautiful
Nitish Deshpande: Amazing lights for Christmas are coming upThey have started it yet to be completedGreat place to go in evening
Heidi Kerutis: Still under construction Wahhh!!
Hartaj Singh: Bike here all the time. Going through some renovations. Beautiful vibe. With a gorgeous library holding down one side, Cary downtown abutting another and tamiles and couples just hanging. Almost meditative. ✌🏽💗🙏🏽
Trusted Client: Still under construction as of July 2022.
Michael Zhou: Great place for gathering especially summer concerts
Andrew St Laurent: So excited to see and use the newly developed area, once completed
Monica: The construction is coming along. Its going to be amazing when done
kevin Monaghan: Really nice place. Town holds really nice events great small-town shopping.

Marla Dorrel Park: what do users think?
Kendall Magesh-Davis: Great little park, lots of trees to keep it shaded. There are several distinct play areas to help separate the different age groups of kids. There are multiple areas for sand play and even a misting area. Enough to get the kids properly messy. 😁It's also right on the Greenway, which is convenient.Parking can be a little tight on the weekend but you can usually find someone heading out. There's even a pavilion you can rent for parties with bathrooms attached.I'm not sure what the maintenance schedule is like, the park was quite wet and messy from yesterday's rain.Playground: There are several distinct playgrounds for different age groupsRestrooms: There are restrooms attached to the pavilionPicnic area: In addition to the pavilion there are plenty of benches, some picnic tables, and curbs to sit on for picnics.
Bolivar vas: Beautiful place to go with childrenPlayground: It has many varieties of gamesRestrooms: They are hygienicPicnic area: can be roasted
M JH: Visiting Marla Dorrel Park for the first time with 6 of our grandkids. It is a beautifully designed park with plenty of shade and sun areas. It is loaded with activities for young children and has a misting station. Finally, it is really maintained¹ what a pleasure to visit this park!
Maiary Voltolini: Amazing!!! Went the for the first time with my 6 year old and he had a blast!! I have yet to see a park with so many play sets and different play areas!!
Zack LeHecka: The playground is great for kids of all ages and plenty of shade for hot sunny days and the misters as well
anonima ayuda: Beautiful park with many things to do for the kiddos. A trail is included- great for family walks and it is surrounded and engulfed in nature, again, such a gorgeous park!
Bhavin Shah: Cute park with fun activities for kids of all age groups.Nice shaded walk area that connects to another park.Don’t miss the ice cream while its there.
Steve Knoblock: Lovely park with vast playground structures and features. Our son loves it.
Shaz 1980: Very calm
Val V: Nicest park I have ever been to.
Dennis Carter: Great LOCAL charity to partner with..On a fundraiser my company did..
Chris Vacca: Great park, a lot of trees provide good cover on sunny days. Two main playgrounds for different age kids. A couple of sand areas, a small water area, and half a dozen swings. Also has restroom facilities.
Elizabeth M: This is such a great park! There’s a variety of play areas suitable for different ages and stages. Big kids and little kids, including toddlers can play here. There’s a large sandbox area and an open space with a dragon structure that the kids can climb on. Most of the park is shaded. It was pretty busy when we were there on a Sunday afternoon, but there was still plenty of space.
Seth Shearon: Great park and Greenway! Lots of amenities.
Carissa James: Our favorite park! Honest the best park I've ever been to, we take our daughter here every week.
Rachel Shull: Best playground in Cary for varying age groups, bathrooms, splash area, and Greenway entrance.
erika: Epic park, very well maintained, and beautifully/functionally designed! Lol even the bollards are pretty and child-engaging :). It has 3 playground areas that are suitable for toddlers through older kids; my toddler absolutely loves going!
Van: Turn on water. Water fountains and bottle filler not functional.Playground: They should turn on misters
Crystal Mitchell: Delightful.
Nagaraj Sollapur: Good trails for walking and biking. The kids playground is very good and has things for kids of all ages.

Carpenter Park: what do users think?
Bill Albing: We keep a community garden plot there, which is really great for growing our own vegetables. Town of Cary picks gardeners by lottery. Rest of park is very kid-friendly, too. A little pond has a path around it. Playground, too.

Red Panda: Beautiful. Free parking. There's a large pond. Bird watching and jogging trail. Conservation area. Trail in a wooded area. Birds are nesting and rearing above the top.Playground: Gyms for children. Swings, slides, and sandlot. Great crowds, although there are some that are too serious about the game and have a win at all costs attitude and forget the relax enjoy and socialize culture of Pickleball that’s the best thing about it. Also I didn’t come many seniors .. mostly young folks ..

Urban Park: what do users think?
Linda Endow Hall: Urban Park is our go-to place to take our 3 year old grandson to run off some energy before going to church. We also love to go here for an afternoon play date.
Opici Becton: This was a great stop for my great nephew 💙 when we left playing golf...
Ben Farmer: a great little park with a playground and a basketball court. only downside is there are no restrooms.
Nader Said: Amazing park
Bill Reynolds: 2yo loved it
Laurie White: Just 2 parking spots. In a weird location. Loud mechanic shop next door. This is probably a residential playground
Michael M: Small, convenient, ample of parking, some may find unpleasant commercial noises coming from next door business. Overall enjoyable place for kids to have fun. Would recommend.
Andrea Alcorn: Fun park for the kiddos!Playground: Two playsets for kids. Little rock walls and slides.Sandbox. Hoops. Picnic table Swings.
rjhnyc: Cute small park in a safe area for the kids.
Brittany Baez: We love this little park tucked away in the trees, away from the busy road. It is a great spot for little kiddos 8 and under since it is small but still fun.
Michael Johnson: Neat little hidden gem near downtown Cary. My two-year-old had a great time!
Lindsey Davis: Hidden lil gem
Dan Miller (HighTechGeek): Cute little park with benches and picnic tables and good parking. There's a small basketball court (with high fencing behind each of the goals), water fountains, garbage bins and a separate playground for young kids. There are flower beds, squirrels, birds and trees. It was nice to take some pizza and drink and sit on the bench and just be outside. It's very small with maybe parking around the entire perimeter for a dozen cars.
Glenn Jordan: Small park between streets with a playground and basketball court. Limited parking.
Madhuvarman PM: Nice small park
Gerry Bowens: My son had a ball!!!!
D R: Basketball court, kids playground equipment with soft surface below. Landscaping is well maintained, park is small with one way streets on each side. Variety of ethnic backgrounds using park as if a big city. Parking spaces in park and on streets although neighbors also walk.
Brianna Marcus: We love this park and go frequently. It's right between our house and downtown Cary. I don't like that it's street-side, but it's fairly far back from Chatham. People in the surrounding neighborhood send their kids to play there unsupervised and those kids can be jerks.
Charles Griffin: Nice little Park for kids
Andrew Smith: Nice, shaded, cozy park. Two short (3-4 ft tall) climbing walls built into swingset. Great for kids
Jess Vaughn's Jewels: Kids love the swings and slides. Just an easy-to-get-to neighborhood park that doesn't take a hassle to park and not a treasure hunt to find a spot. Simply drive up E. Circle Drive, park right next to the swings, slides or sandbox. Great exercise opportunity to walk around the perimeter while the kids play safely within a stone's throw distant!

Dorothy Park: what do users think?
Robert Phillips: Walked the Higgins Greenway. Very nice and easy stroll. Recommend it.
Debbie Craig: Nice area to contemplate or just listen to the stream and nature :-)
Shirley Hertel: This park is beautuful, clean and landscaping is well maintained.Must go there and walk around to appreciate it.
SGM Mark Bergman: Nice quiet place for children and dogs
Romas S: It's always a welcome sight while walking the neighborhood!
Kathy Repass: Very pretty park in the middle of an adorable neighborhood. No real parking and no sidewalks to walk on. But it is a nice, pretty place.
Paulette Cherubin: Very nice park especially during Sunflower bloom season..
Daniel So: Um, this is not a park. It's basically a strip of grass on either side of a stream that's dried up in between two roads in a neighborhood. It was mostly shaded in the afternoon which is nice, but wow, not what I expected!
Isa Inter: Bieeeeen
zorkplayer1: Good place to go bring your kids
Alex Cook: Small park but close to the greenway if you are looking for a longer walk.
Brent Ward: Love this neighborhood gem!
KC Gaming: Its a nice place to walk around but theres a creek right directly in the middle of it so it's not the sort of park you play sports at. Although it does have a basketball hoop which is nice. You have to play in the street. It's a neighborhood and a very nice one. Tiny but nice.
Jess Tevin: Serene...
Paula Rhodes: Nice little park, but hated they were building homes so close to paved walkway.
Sherrene Swayney: Very pretty park...great for family time!
Lee Kennedy: Beautiful little park with a stream running through it.
aaron hart: Its got no benches. No paths. There is a river that runs through it and there is a small bridge over the river. Hardly noticeable as a park. But it is rather pretty.
Josh Price: I love this little park. There's nothing here but a grassy area and a creek, but it's great for walking a dog around or playing catch with the kids. I also like to setup my disc golf practice target there and play around.
andre hudson: Had a great time
Eve Shoemaker: This is not really a park. It's a strip of grass with a bridge over a tiny stream and a bench. Not bug or flat enough to really do anything with and its surrounded by residential streets so it's not safe for kids or pets to play. It is connected to a Greenway.
