Page-Walker Arts & History Center: what do users think?
hyunjin Hong: 아이 여름캠프가 있어서 왔는데 아늑하게 좋아요. 접근성도 좋고 주차 공간도 많은 편이예요. 주변에 도서관도 있고 미술관도 있어요.
V Mars: If you enjoy seeing how history connected to people's lives and in this case; how Cary developed and how the railroad impacted the Page-Walker families, then check this small history center. Beautiful gardens surround the history center. Easy parking. I had an interesting conversation with the women who were tending to the garden out front of the history center. They gave me a bit of insight into the upkeep of the exterior landscaping.
Peggy Wickham: Excellent exhibit. I especially enjoyed the fabric art exhibit, but the bold abstract exhibit as well.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …More

Nancy Caggia: Fabulous piano concert by Solomon Eichner! Talented pianist with wonderful introductions and explanations to the pieces! The staff there were quite helpful and responsive when we asked questions or requested more air flow in little room. The homemade refreshments at intermission were an unexpected delight. Volume and acoustics were spot on and enjoyable. Parking is super easy. Had a lovely winter concert. Lasted almost 1 hr and 45 minutes! Highly suggest for others to attend other concerts!

Rick Iiams: The Page-Walker offered a walking ghost tour of Cary. Started in the ol' Hillcrest cemetery and walked back to the P-W museum. Guided by the Cary Players, was fun and learned a few more pieces of Cary's history through it's "ghosts". Great fun, perfect weather for the 7pm group. Would totally recommend to go.
Kurt Hilton: I've been to the Page-Walker for several events hosted by the Town of Cary. One of Cary's oldest and well-managed historical landmarks.
Carol Toth: Historical trolly ride was both fun and informative.
Matthew Tallarino: Wonderful and quaint historical gem in downtown Cary! Perfect setting!
Linda Gunter: We really need a large Cary Museum for all the town artifacts related to our history. What a wonderful job the Town did in preserving the old hotel.
Michael Rubin: Great source for history about Cary and historical people of the area.

Cary Arts Center: what do users think?
Charles Fleming: I was there for a dance rehearsal.
Marcos Torres: My grandson is having a wonderful time in the Star Wars craft camp!
Michael Clinkscales: The Cary Arts Center is a fantastic location for local groups to perform. Clean and comfortable facilities. Kind people serving the facility and community.
Alonza Smith: They were having a conference call Connecting Cities. This was very informative about some of the new technologies that Cary is testing and possibly going to implement.
Pugal Natesan: Nice place for events and art exhibits. Friendly, courteous and professional staff.
The Lady Starr G.: This historic site is a really nice venue. The only thing negative was handicap parking, but I was a little late. So if you really require the handicap parking, I highly suggest getting there early so you can park near the building.
Cheryl Johnson: Outstanding performance for Fiddler on the Roof
Dan Benson: Beautiful ballet
Gabrielle Downing: Beautiful inside!!
Seth Shearon: The Cary players had an amazing performance for fiddler on the roof. Very impressive performance!
Jean-Elie Tabbal: We lived the place.
Katherine Mackintosh: Comfortable seats, but theater is small enough to feel cozy. Great production of Fiddler on the Roof!
Jayme Dubernas: "Fiddler on the Roof", I love the performance my Waze took me to the wrong part of Cary. It was pouring and I got drenched. I finally put in Google for directions and found it.
Bill Albing: Great plays performed in a comfortable auditorium.
Diane butler: I use their ceramic studio
Sheryl Merritt: It was a pleasure attending REbarCamp st this space. I learned so much about the history; which I was not expecting.
Allison Kalloo: Such an amazing evening, despite the power outtage delay!! Attended the A.J. Croce concert, and he was absolutely phenomenal!! Not only immensely talented in his own right, but a charming and engaging and humble storytelling master!! He played to a packed house in the virtual dark-- with no acoustical amplification-- and it was nothing short of magical. No regrets, Cary Arts Center. But next time you lose power, just move it outside for an al fresco experience (weather permitting)!
Eleanor Thorne: We used the Cary Arts Center for a Real Estate Conference, and it was PERFECT! The Staff, esepcially Russ Hughes, were kind and helpful - it was a beautiful venue for REBarCampRDU, and we appreciate the support so much! Most of us had lunch on the front steps!
Ederson Dos Santos (Eddy): Gorgeous place and the staff are amazing! Great customer service!
Duncan “Scotte”: Every town should have this type of centre, it's a wonderful building with incredible facilities and staff
Chakrapani Krishnamurthy: Excellent place would rate it more if it had more parking spots. For bigger events even the parking spots in adjacent school is also not enough

Art by Shalimar: what do users think?
Cindy Bolden: wonderful experience! shalimar’s creativity and art are stunning.
Ashley Jarvis: Shal’s art is beautiful and captivating! My pieces bring me so much joy and I cannot stop looking at them!
Gabrielle Cohen: Shalimar is not only an incredible artist, she is extremely professional and wonderful to work with. I found her via an Instagram post share and so thrilled we did, we have purchased from a collection as well as a commissioned a few. Never had any transaction been smoother and her art exceeded all expectations.
Katie Willard: Shalimar worked with us to make sure the pieces we commissioned worked well within our space and for our budget! They are exactly what we envisioned and my husband and I both were able to merge aspects of different pieces we each liked from her studio. They are absolutely unreal
Layla Christie: Loved stopping by Shalimar's studio! She was incredibly kind and shared her art in such an inspiring way. Her pieces are gorgeous online and even moreso in person!
Thomas Loeffler: We are huge fans, and proud owners, of Shalimar! Her work is original, unique, and breathtakingly beautiful! Her art has brightened our home, and we always look forward to her next gallery showing!
marcia jarrell: I spotted Shalimar's beautiful studio one evening last summer and as I peeked into the window, I was immediately drawn into the calm serenity that is captured in her "A Peaceful Stroll". I felt like I could jump into the painting and just stroll into a magical place. I knew that painting had to be a part of me! I enjoyed talking with Shalimar and when she told me the name of the painting, I knew it was for me! She is fabulous to work with and her art will give you a real sense of joy! Thank you for sharing your talents!
Leslie Huffman: Working with Shalimar on a custom piece for my home was fantastic. I had been following her for a long time and knew that I needed one of her paintings. I love her style, use of color, technique and abstract feel. I shared my room colors and layout and let her know that I love lots of color and flowers. She painted something that not only hangs prominently above the fireplace, but makes me feel happy every time I look at it.
Sophie Stoddard: Shalimar is an incredibly friendly & talented artist! Highly recommend stopping by her studio.
Dorothy Lowell: Shalimar is so wonderful! Her art is lively and colorful. It would look look great in any room!! She is very welcoming, and her studio is a relaxed environment. I cannot wait to hang ‘Fresh Air’ in my dining room!! Thank you!
Chelsey Weiler: Love this place! The artist always has a new themes, shows for you to come check out her new stuff and even takes commissions for anything you want. She takes good care to make sure you love your piece before she ships it and has reasonable prices. I would definitely work with her any time!
Sean Zmijewski: Shals art pieces are truly one of a kind. I’ve never seen an artist put so much attention into every detail. The studio is amazing as well. I can’t recommend Art by Shalimar enough!!
Kelly Ross: Shalimar created a custom piece of my wedding bouquet. The whole experience was wonderful she was so friendly and communicative and the piece is beyond what I imagined - just beautiful!!
Ashley Allen: Art by Shalimar is a uniquely wonderful addition to downtown Cary. Her use of color and texture is mesmerizing, and if you’re lucky, you can catch her in the process when you visit. We’ve purchased several pieces for ourselves and gifted to family and friends. Her “Drained” piece (pictured) is perfect in our entryway and I love seeing it everyday. Definitely stop by to see Shal’s work in person.
Katie Backus: Absolutely gorgeous textured art by a lovely artist. She is so talented and so sweet.
James K: I love Shal’s work. The emotion conveyed in her pieces is sublime. Find one of her pieces you connect with and ask about her process and state of mind. More than likely, you’ll understand why you connected with the piece. That conversation will turn a gorgeous piece of art into something priceless. That was our exact experience when my wife and I were on vacation and visited her gallery. We purchased one of Shal’s larger pieces in that collection and Shal shipped it to us when her show was over. It’s now our favorite piece of artwork in our house.Next time we’re in Raleigh, we’ll be sure to stop in again.
Kim Robinson: I lover her paintings!
Matthew Hirsheimer: We stopped in the gallery tonight after an early dinner. It’s always so enjoyable to see what is new from Shalimar up on the walls. Florals and abstracts, one more beautiful than the next. Something for everyone. Tonight was a special treat as her daughter and husband were all there. Such a nice family, such a nice space for art. Well worth the trip when down town Cary. ❤️
Nick: The gallery is beautiful! A great place to stop by if you're out for dinner with friends or showing family around downtown Cary. I've made a point to plan date nights coinciding with her seasonal shows, Shal goes above and beyond with delicious catering and her art pieces are stunning!
Nancy Sorge: We are new to Cary and we’re in the restaurant next door to Shalimars studio. We wandered in and Mike graciously greeted us at the door. There is an event at the studio on April 15 which I will be sure to attend. I love her work and believe you will as well.
Catherine Coman: Great place all around!! Don’t miss the shows when they come up. Beautiful art every season. Much more detail in person that you cannot portray in online photos.

Arvian “Sparkles” Duval: My children took me to this art museum as part of my Mother’s Day celebration yesterday. It is free admission and they accept donations. It is a walk-in, no reservations required. There are two levels to this museum. The artwork in there is deep and thought-provoking. I believe they rotate different artists at different times. There are a few areas where you can sit if needed. What I enjoyed about this art museum besides, the art of course, is that they give not only biographical information about each artist, but they also provide an overview of that artist’s style and a summary of the collection of art that is being presented for that artist. The atmosphere is serene and conducive for an art museum. Everything is spaced out nicely to give room to multiple people viewing at the same time. The building is also maintained at a good temperature.
Myishea “MsBann” Bannister: Stopped by today, Friday at 120p, guess they're not open like the site says. I saw people about and rang the bell but nobody came to the entrance. Was very much looking forward to CAM, unfortunately this was disappointing.Visited on Weekday …More
