Busy Bee Preschool Child Care Center: what do users think?
Michael C.: My wife, daughter, and I had an amazing experience at Busy Bee Preschool! It provided a nurturing and educational environment that supported our daughter’s growth during my last two years of medical school. Ms. Benna and the staff at Busy Bee Preschool went above and beyond to ensure my daughter received the attention and care she needed. They provided a safe and stimulating space for her, and the open communication and text message updates throughout the day made it incredibly reassuring to know that our daughter was in such loving hands each day. One of the things that stands out about Busy Bee is the friendships our daughter made there. She formed friendships with all her classmates, and to this day, she will comment that she misses her friends that she made at the preschool. I appreciate that my daughter’s class had a diverse range of ages, and the social skills she developed during her time is evident. Additionally, she still sings the English/Spanish songs she learned there, which shows how much of an impact it had on her. As a parent, I felt like part of their family too. Ms. Benna treated us all like family, and it truly felt like home away from home every time we visited. We ended up moving away from Raleigh for residency, but we would have continued to send our daughter to Busy Bee Preschool were we to remain in the area.
Brittni Love: Busy Bee Preschool is great! My youngest daughter has been going there for almost 1.5yrs and she loves it. When we first started it was a little hard for my daughter to adjust to a daycare setting since she was never in daycare before. Ms.Benna was very helpful and understanding during her adjustment. We both worked together to help my daughter adjust to the new setting and it’s been such a great experience! My daughter loves going to daycare playing with her friends and learning new things everyday from her teacher. Definitely would recommend Busy Bee Preschool it has a home style setting and you can really see the love and care Ms. Benna and Ms. Sandra have for the kids there.
Matthew Busch: [About the reviewer: I write this post as an educator with 12 years in the classroom, many summers substitute teaching in early childhood education. I hold an M.Ed, and I a National Board Certified teacher.] Here's my experience:.I visited Busy Bee when we were looking for our first childcare provider for our daughter. I had applied to countless other daycares making skeptical promises of "dream-like programs" that IMHO over-promised. I soon discovered they never delivered consistency and solid foundations of what I believe children really need at this age. If you want a daycare rooted in routines that offer bilingual educational songs, choose busy bee. If you value your child being given the opportunity to simply be a child, to build friendships, learn kindness, come here. I remember all the reasons I loved daycare when I was a child, and it was making friends, singing, coloring and dancing. That's the experience I wanted for my daughter, and I get that with Mrs. Benna, and her staff. Mrs Benna loves each child and takes care of them as if they were her own, my daughter is so much better for having been a part of this daycare, she has improved so much in communicating and development. I am so appreciative of the care and love Mrs. Benna gives and you would be too!
Melissa West: Our twins attended Busy Bee with Ms Benna for a short time before the pandemic. We kept them home during the pandemic, but as soon as we could we put them back in during March 2022. The structure, guidance, teaching and love is like no other place we have found. It's conveniently located in a safe neighborhood, provides home-cooked meals and healthy snacks, provides bilingual teaching for Kindergarten-readiness, encourages outside play time and rotating stations for all types of learning. Ms Benna and Ms Maria love our twins and were the best fit for our family. Our kids have made great friends and developed social skills necessary to prepare them for their next phase in life. We will surely miss this school when our two go to Kindergarten, it's been a second home for them.
Анна А: I can't say enough good words about Busy Bee! We started while I was still nursing and this daycare was a great fit for smooth transition from home and nursing to social environment with "real" food. Now my toddler is thriving there. He has significant progress in fine motor, communication and language skills. He is bilingual and didn't speak English at all when started attending the preschool which was just a few months ago. Now he's speaking phrases. Unfortunately I didn't save his first coloring pages. He didn't fit in lines at all. I'll add 2 coloring pages he did after a few months. What's most important he loves it there. I can say he feels relaxed and safe. When I pick him up he often asks to stay longer)) Also the owner sends me a lot of pictures and videos each day! I can see the lessons and play and how my son is interacting with others when I'm not there. BB is a small daycare that feels like home, technically not 'home' daycare though since they follow all regular regulations just as all other preschools. My older attended a typical preschool (several groups with 20 kids in each). It was a good preschool but I'm happier with Busy Bee due to better environment and care.
Nikki Edmonds: This is the ONLY place to send your littles. I removed my 2 year old from a larger daycare for several reasons. Ms. Benna is absolutely the best. She truly cares for each one of the children like they are her very own. Her daycare is up to code with all safety requirements and is super clean. She also cooks homemade and nutritious meals everyday for the littles. My son eats better than I do everyday. I would not go anywhere else except Busy Bee Daycare. My son has flourish in the 6 months he has been going to Busy Bee. He sounds out letters and sings fun songs that he learns at school all the time. Ms. Maria teaches them Spanish! It's wonderful. She is a delight as well. They make a great team. I love that he is in class with older children. He has learned so much in the environment. He is well loved and take care of- I have zero worries about the level of care he receives everyday and that makes all the difference in the world to working parents!
Laura O'Dell: I moved my daughter from a big chain daycare in Cary to Ms. Benna at Busy Bee. I was nervous to make the switch, thinking my daughter would be resistant to the change, but I had nothing to worry about! My daughter fits right in (ages 2-4 are really a sweet spot) and has been much happier. We love the smaller, more intimate environment, where Ms. Benna can actually keep tabs on each kid. It's been an overall great experience, and I'm excited for her to continue there.
Jennifer Truex: We love Ms.Benna and 5 stars aren't enough she loves every kid she comes across, and the kids love her back, my daughter has separation anxiety and we were nervous how she would take to daycare and Ms. Benna would sit and cuddle with her until she was comfortable to play (which really maybe lasted like 2 second after that we left but knowing she does that gives my mommy brain piece of mind) now my daughter wakes up every day asking if she can go to class and see her friends and "my benna"Anytime we have a question shes just a phone call or text away as well, and will text pictures of my kid throught the day
Christina Pita: Absolutely love this daycare!! I felt so good knowing my 2 year old son was safe all day as we have no family in the area. Mrs. Benna is so sweet and always willing to work together if problems arise with behavior. I have endless good things to say about her daycare. I have worked in a big daycare in the past and I would choose hers over any. Everything is clean and done in a safe manner. The kids all love going there as you see them all running to the door in the morning ❤️ you can’t go wrong!
kayla marie: There are simply not enough stars to describe our experience with Busy Bees. Beana not only maintains a clean, always well-kept environment for the children but in addition to that she cares for your children like they are her own. She maintains a positive, communicative relationship with parents while providing quality care.I was terrified to leave my child anywhere before Busy Bees. I had complete faith in Beana’s care. Thank you, thank you, thank you Busy Bees for teaching our little one so much! We loved our time with you and hope to return in the future! 10/10 would recommend Busy Bees!!
Kayla Hillyard: We love Busy Bees! We were hesitant to start daycare and Beana made the transition smooth and kept us in the loop, always! Beana treated our son like her own. She genuinely cares about the well-being of all of her children and in addition to that...she nurtures relationship with parents and relies on open, consistent communication. The center is super organized and tidy all the time! It would be difficult to top Busy Bee’s quality of care. It is the best! Thanks Busy Bee’s! We hope to join your daycare family again one day!
Mary Neal: Ms. Benna is truly a blessing! It is clear that caring for children is her passion in life. She treats every child as if they were her own. The daycare is a very clean and safe environment. She cooks fresh meals and makes sure the kids a always fed very well. My son has truly thrived and grown developmentally and socially in the 8 months that he's been with Ms. Benna. I couldn't ask for a better daycare provider. I highly recommend Busy Bee Preschool!!!
Liz Buenger: Ms. Bena is truly passionate and loving with all of her children, and it's easy to see how effortlessly they return that love. She is patient, attentive, accomodating, and dependable. The environment she created promotes active exploration, interaction and play. Ms. Bena has many years of experience caring for children, and she also has assistance from Ms. Gloria, who (among other things) teaches the children Spanish! We receive pictures and updates throughout the day and our daughter usually has to be coaxed to leave. It feels like we leave her with family. I can't say enough about how appreciative we are to have found Busy Bee and Ms. Bena.
Amber Krupinski: I can't even begin to tell you what a blessing Busy Bee has been to our family. Our son loves to go! All day long there is positive reinforcement and education through play and activity. He is two and you can just see how much he is progressing in this environment. Ms. Benna loves these kids like they are her own. She sends pictures all day long which makes me not feel like I'm missing out. I highly recommend her! Our older daughter even goes on days off. She loves to be the helper!
Kimberly H: Our little girl has been with Mrs. Benna for almost a year now. We can’t say enough about how well she has done. The facility is clean and has a nice outside area for the children. Highly recommend this daycare!
Cam Coffing: I'm so impressed and genuinely thrilled about this daycare. My son has really started to develop into a young gentleman and a lot of it has to do with the curriculum and attentiveness that is given to him here, he's always fed (healthy snacks and meals) always clean and never wants to leave when I come to get him. Awesome place for my son and even a bigger plus is ,I have peace of mind while hes there.
Kayla Seckler: My daughter has really thrived with Busy Bee. She was in a public preschool setting prior to moving to NC so I was a bit nervous about switching to a home daycare, but she is so much more comfortable and really benefits from interacting with older children. Benna and Gloria care so much for their kids and their curriculum is seriously impressive. My daughter isn't even 2 yet and she knows more Spanish than I do! Benna communicates regularly and sends me photos during the day which I love. Kids are always happy. I would recommend Busy Bee to anyone!
Michelle Miller: After moving here from Chicago, we had to make the tough decision to put our daughter in daycare. Our daughter had never been cared for by anyone aside from family members. After being at Busy Bee for 4 months now, I can truly say that Ms. Benna has been a blessing for our family. She was amazing, and patient, with helping our daughter transistion. Ms. Benna loves all of the kids like her own and sends multiple updates throughout the day to ease the parents' minds. My daughter is thriving and doesn't want to leave "Ms. Nenna" at the end of the day. Since moving away from all of our family, it's been great knowing that I never have to worry and that my daughter is always safe with Ms. Benna.
Malorie Winters: My son has been going to Busy Bee since he was 9 months old (he’s just turned 2). He loves it there! Benna gives them organic food and is very accommodating to his dietary restrictions. They do lessons in Spanish and my son has started using Spanish phrases at home. He loves playing outside on their porch and in the fenced yard when the weather is nice. We’re very happy with Busy Bee.
Stacy Montague: Miss Benna cares for the children as if they were her own. Highly recommend!
Ashley Mickey: Both of our children have gone to Busy Bee for a couple of years now, and we absolutely love it. Benna loves the children as if they are her own, and most importantly our children love it there. She's very flexible with schedules and allows you to make your own schedule with her - no need for all day, every day if that doesn't fit your need. Would absolutely recommend!

Giggles Drop-In Child Care of Cary: what do users think?
hamilton watts (Ham): Drop off and pick up at this location is a breeze, I have never had a problem at Giggles and my daughter loves it there!
Danielle Cotten: Our family is forever grateful for the giggles staff in Cary! Each and everyone of them has a passion and care for the kids! Very easy to work with and affordable.
Emily Richardson: My boys are age 2 and 5 and love Giggles and always have a great time. We have been several times in the past few months since moving to the area.
Candace Williams: I picked my son up today and noticed he had a girl's pull up on and none of his pull-ups were used!! The excuse I received was they were busy so they just threw something on him because they couldn't find his things and they didn't think it was a big deal! Let's not forget we have to pull numbered baskets to place there things in so things like this DON'T HAPPEN! This is absolutely unexcusable! One, pull-ups are expensive so you don't pull from another's child's supply especially when he had his own, secondly what if my child was allergic to that brand of pull-ups and wipes used, thirdly it's for girls!!! I've had some previous concerns but this tops the cake for me! We will definitely be finding a true state regulated facility! These people have bit off more then they can chew!
Debra Achan: My 7 year old daughter just finished the Spring break camp! To say she had a blast is an understatement! The camp provides different daily activities and lunch. She was excited everyday to go on her new adventure! Best of all she came home happy and exhausted! We also participated in the summer camp last summer as we will again this year!! The camp counselors are attentive and amazing! Especially Ms. C!!!No better feeling knowing that your child is having a great time and under the care of the best Giggles team while you are a work!! Truly, Giggles, gives me peace of mind!!Thank You Team Giggles!!
Addy Rogers: We love Giggles! They are a life saver for us. We really were impressed by the Spring Break Camp for our 2 kids. Amazing and fun staff leading the camp and our kids have had so much fun every single day.
Chelsea Johnson: I’ve used giggles for a long time for my almost 7yo, and she always has a good time. It’s been great for teacher workdays and days out of school so I can still work. Unfortunately, our experiences have slowly been getting worse and worse, and today when I picked my daughter up I was extremely alarmed but what I saw. A small baby was being held by a child not even older than 5 years and crying, no adult near or in sight. The baby cried as another child grabbed its arm, trying to pull it away from the other child, basically playing tug of war while the baby cried. No adult intervened, and sadly didn’t even observe. It was extremely concerning. There was a 2:30 ratio of kids to adults, with one adult tied up manning their front desk while one adult was “watching” 30+ kids. It didn’t feel safe and the kids felt essentially totally unsupervised. For a kid my kids age, I would be less concerned, but for small children as a parent I’d feel very unsafe. We will no longer be going there after what I saw today.
Kaitlynd West: We absolutely have loved Giggles for the last 2 years!! It’s my daughter’s favorite incentive, and she LOVED looking forward to going! If she had good behavior at school, I’d send her off to Giggles for several hours. UNFORTUNATELY, Giggles no longer accommodates childcare needs for any more than 4 hours a day. Which means both my daughter and I are disappointed, as it was a great set-up. Apparently something with the state of NC, so I hope they are able to get it sorted and go back to the way it was
Jessy Rocks: Critical:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,Value
Inessa Bergeron: I dropped off my children there for only 3 hours and it was the worst experience ever for them. My children were bullied, physically and emotionally hurt, and the counselors couldn't care less. I could not believe it when my daughter showed me her bruised and swollen foot after I picked them up. There cussing going by other attendees, middle finger stuck at them, even threats. And the counselors did absolutely nothing about it!! Not only that, but the little babies don't get changed and get picked on by older kids. There were many kids who would pull their masks down and wear them under their chin, and they would be yelling and screaming while they were not masked. The food was awful. They don't even have chairs for the attendees, they had them sit on some kind of plastic boxes which hurt their bottoms. The toys are broken. Oh my gosh, I don't know how this place is still in business. Parents be aware!
Brittany Jones: We have been using giggles for our daughter for over six years now. She loves spending time there with friends. She comes home with new arts and crafts masterpieces all the time that the teachers work on with her and others. Their after school program is affordable and reliable, and gives me peace of mind since I can’t be there after school. They have been consistent throughout the years, and I would recommend their services to anyone looking for part time care for their children.
Brittany Keen: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueMy boys have been going to giggles over 2 years now!! The kids and staff our pretty much a part of our family now!!! Thank you for all that you do for us!! Love you all!!!!
Caitlin Roberts: Giggles has been a LIFESAVER!! We have a regular daycare we use but sometimes we have teacher workdays or my husband and I work half days and don’t want to make the drive to daycare for a short few hours…that’s where Giggles comes in. I love that it literally works as a “drop-in” daycare, so if you have last minute plans, mother-in-laws falls through, etc. you don’t have to explain anything to them-they’re always there ready. My son loves the atmosphere and leaves all played-out with a smile on his face. We always feel safe leaving him there. The staff is always super attentive and doesn’t mind my nervous mom calls to check in. Highly recommend!
Denisse Sinclair: My daughter had fun but I didn't have a good vibe from one of the "teachers". I don't think she has the patience that requires to be in charge of kids. I heard her yell loud in a rude manner to a few kids that were trying to put their toys down the slide. I understand it's not safe to do that but even if you have to be louder so that kids can hear you sometimes, you can do it in a different way and she wasn't too far from them anyway. I'm sure she could've handled that in a different way. This is my personal opinion. I think kids should be treated with respect.
Patrick Gillespie: Our son LOVES Giggles! He attends both the Cary and Raleigh location and has so many friends between the other children and even the counselors. Some days we drop him off and he is greeted by a group of children chanting his name waiting for him and others he wants to cling to the counselors who are all happy to hold him and play with him. When we pick him up in the afternoons he is always exhausted from playing and falls asleep in the car before we make it home. The manager Jill is awesome and has always been happy to answer any of our questions and help us whenever we needed it. Thanks Giggles!
Tyler Musslewhite: Positive:Professionalism,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueFun, safe, affordable child care! My preschooler was a regular attendee here for over a year and loved it! Made lots of friends and developed great relationships with the staff. Highly recommend, especially the membership packages!
umran: Critical:Professionalism,QualityThey don’t care and watch kids what’s going with kids. My son and daughter was crying when I picked them up. When I asked them somebody hit them. The. I asked the the person who is in charge with kids she said she doesn’t know. So sad that place is still exist.
Taylor Coletta: My three boys have been going to Giggles semi-regularly for years now. They ask me at least weekly when they can go again. The fact that they love it so much gives this mom piece of mind in leaving them there. The staff is always warm and welcoming, and they always make sure the kids are well taken care of. It’s affordable and a lifesaver sometimes for those impromptu work meetings that should’ve been an email or if I just really need a few hours to myself as a single mom. Overall, we love Giggles!
Michelle Morris: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueAn Amazing child care , very patient and kind hearted ! I definitely would recommend to others !
Teslar: Positive:Quality,ReliabilityThese guys are the best!
Morgan Long: They always take great care of our son!

MiiMii Hill: My grandson attended Bright Beginnings over the last 3 years and he was loved, taught, and well cared for. He attended summer camp last year and he is still wanting and talking about how much he enjoyed it!! Great loving and wholesome environment for children to grow. I can’t say enough about this place. 💕
Rhonda Rogers: We love this place. Family owned business with a nurturing staff. We started at Bright Beginnings when my daughter was three months old, and she graduated from the pre school program earlier this year. My daughter has been excelling at kindergarten and according to her teacher, she is demonstrating mastery for some of the Wake County 1st grade standards. This is largely thanks to her time spent at Bright Beginnings CDC of Cary.
Lexi R: My daughter had the privilege to attend pre k at Bright Beginnings and she just graduated. I must admit, I was a little sad that she wouldn't be able to attend the same pre k her sisters went to in FL, but boy was this a blessing in disguise! This was such an amazing school. Her teachers were so kind and wonderful! She learned soooo much. Way more than my other two did in pre k. I believe that thanks to her teachers and the education they offered her, she will be advanced in kindergarten. Such a bitter sweet moment to know she won't return. But I know that she will always remember her little school and teachers just as much as I will. Thank you Bright Beginnings for offering excellent early childhood education!
Paige Brooks: Thoroughly disappointed, disgusted and excited to transfer to a better center. Their standards of safety are horrifying.
Leslie DeBrosse: We love this child development center. As a first time mom, I was extremely nervous about leaving my child with strangers. Those fears quickly dissipated upon meeting Lisa, the Director. Now that my child is attending full time, all fears are long gone. Everyone is so loving and caring, and our child is happy and thriving. I feel very confident in their ability to nurture and attend to all children in their care. So thankful I was able to find this hidden gem!
Misty McClary: Both of my kiddos go here and this school is amazing. From the second we walked in it felt like home, so loving, kind and friendly.
Camyla Colvin: both of my girls go here. and they love it. my oldest started when she was a few months old (6 months maybe) my youngest started right at 6 weeks. the staff are sweet, loving and just like family!! they care for my kids as if they birth them. the food. now the food is amazing my oldest says. it smells just like thanksgiving everyday around breakfast and lunch time! I love this daycare and all the staff!
Jessica Johnson: Everyone at Bright Beginnings is so attentive and caring! I'm not someone who trusts easily when it comes to my children, so it says a lot that we've been at BB for almost 2 years. My child loves every teacher, and Mrs. Lisa! There's a great line of communication and they're always understanding with any needs we may have.
Felicia Lowery: Great place all three of my children attended. Well rounded child care.
Julie Harris: I've been looking for a great child care center for my daughter for at least 6 months , and came across Bright Beginnings. Thank God for loving, caring, and happy staff . Everyday my husband and I takes my daughter to the daycare we are always greeted with smiles in the morning and afternoon. The building is beautiful , brightly painted colors inside and out , even I love it. Thankful for all the smiles, and respect that you all have for my child , and us as parents. The after school teacher has a beautiful smile every morning I come in, welcomes my child as well as myself, kind words as I leave my child. I feel more than grateful when I leave knowing that my child is in such great care. Thanks for all you all do.
reggie wright: My daughter has been going here since she was 4 months old and we love it, the staff and the administration obviously love children & it shows in their work and attention to detail. I found out through my own research that the owners have worked diligently in the triangle school system for over 40 years! Their love, care & commitment to children shows in the work that they do and the bright smiling faces that me and my child are greeted with everyday. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who has a young child in the triangle area

White Plains Children's Center: what do users think?
Nadia Vasu: WPCC is a exceptional school! My son is is now 12 went there from ages 2-5. They handled his separation anxiety with warmth and nurturing. I frequently have told the directors I wished they had a kindergarten program. My 3 year old daughter now attends and loves going to school to see her teachers. These teachers go above and beyond with our kids. I am a child therapist and in searching for a preschool program I found what I was looking for in White Plains. It is very child centered and play based with a focus on building relationships between child and teacher. I cannot express how wonderful I feel sending my children to White Plains. I know they are receiving the best care possible. I also worked in daycares previously and I can say this is the place to send your children. Highly recommend!!!
Colleen Vasu Oliver: We are so thankful for the incredible teachers, administration, and support staff at White Plains Children's Center. The folks at WPCC are communicative, nurturing, responsive, and inclusive in their approach to education. My little one had intense separation anxiety post-pandemic and the teachers at WPCC have been so immensely supportive, gentle and communicative with her & us during all transitions. I feel truly lucky to have found such a child-centered environment for my daughter to grow and develop in. As a testament to their fantastic reputation, all four grandchildren in the family have attended WPCC!
Jacob Desjarlais: My oldest daughter has attended this school since she was 18 months old, she is about to turn five soon and we have had an absolutely amazing experience. The teachers there are the best I've ever met. Our youngest started there last year and is in love with her teachers. But, it isn't just about them being nice or great teachers, they have been almost family these last four years and through all of covid. Our daughter has a speech delay and the administrators went out of the way to help in every way possible. They guided us through finding therapists and building our child's IEP for Kindergarten. They even showed us how to evaluate new schools and how to talk to the principals there to learn about the programs they had.Our kids benefited so much from going to White Plains that it is just amazing that we found them by accident because we lived a few minutes away. Now we live in Wake Forest and drive down to Cary every day so our kids are able to stay at White Plains.
Maria Maxell: This school has been an amazing place for my daughter! The teachers and admins go above and beyond to create an absolutely wonderful and inclusive place for all the students. We are so lucky to be a part of the White Plains Children's Center community!
Mallory List: My son currently attends White Plains and I have never been more grateful for an institution or group of people. He started at WPCC in the youngest class (Pandas) at a time when he was experiencing extreme developmental delays. He is now in the Turtles class and I cannot begin to describe the amazing growth he has shown (and continues to show) since that first day. The support is endless – we truly are a team working together to help my son. There is constant communication between the teachers, admin, Wake County therapists, and me. He is so happy at school, he LOVES his teachers, therapists, and admins and talks about them constantly. Inclusion is so important, and I believe this school does it right. He has friends with all different abilities, and I’ve seen firsthand how kind, patient, and supportive these kids are of one another. I’ve gotten to know the parents in his classroom as well and suddenly find myself with a supportive community of people I didn’t expect. Navigating this world of special needs is hard, but I find so much comfort in knowing we have the support of WPCC behind us. His needs have changed as he has grown, some challenges that weren’t as prevalent initially have moved to the forefront, but the school meets him where he is at and makes adjustments so that he can continue to learn and grow in a safe, accessible environment. As we get closer to Kindergarten, I’m becoming scared of leaving this place of inclusion and moving into the unknown. I mentioned this to the school’s Executive Director, Nicole, and she spent an unhurried hour with me answering questions, offering specific guidance, and explaining the Kindergarten transition process. This is just one example of many that I could give of the amazing support we’ve experienced here. I wish I could give this place 100 stars!
Private Partyof1: How is the newest of the reviews for this school 7 years old? This school was amazing 5 years ago, too. What happened to all those reviews? Not a single review is relevant because most students there 7 years ago will have moved onto different learning centers.Check this school out in person. It does have a lot to offer. However, find parents currently involved there. The director and staffing changes had happened again at least 1 time since 5 years ago... may have happened again since.

Adib Kozlow: This is a place that stands above and beyond of what a "day care/pre-school" provides. I use quotations because this place is incredible and beyond anything I ever expected. My first born son is mildly autistic and went there for a year or so until we realized he needed a very structured program. The time he spent there was amazing that the staff is even better. As soon as we found out we were expecting our second son, we called to reserve him a spot so he could attend White Plains too. He has been there for 6 months and is always grabbing his shoes in a rush for us to put on him so he can get to school since day 1.Their tuition rates are very fair and reasonable. The staff is ridiculously awesome. One teacher ran out in the pouring rain to help me get my youngest out of my car at their side door because I had both my sons with me. This teacher showed no regard for herself and was only focused on getting the child in safely and protected him from getting wet with her body. It wasn't the first time a teacher went above and beyond.Yes, they hold fundraisers and ask for supplies or donations like any other school does. My wife is on the PTA and she has helped organized events for the staff because they deserve it.I am not a religious person, but I will say that the church members that attend the church talk the talk and walk the walk when it comes to serving the less fortunate and their community. I have seen them give away food bags to families in need several times and I have never once felt judged by any of them when I walk by with my son. I am always greated with a warm smile and they wave at my son.
Yuki Puram: My daughter has been with WPCC since October of last year. I heard that there was a major staff turnover including the director a little before she started. The center improved tremendously since then. I don't know what was it like before but we love WPCC. The staffs are so nice and really listen to the parents' needs and wants. They are expert at children with special and typical needs. The children with special needs learn a lot from the typically developing children and typically developing children learn compassion from helping their friends. I like the center is somewhat small and the teacher-child ratio is small as well. Cannot say enough good things about them!
Kristin Lozoya: My daughter has been attending White Plains since June. We are SO happy to have our child somewhere that understands her needs without labeling her. Our daughter is on the spectrum (autism). She doesn't fit any stereotype of autism and in an inexperienced classroom our daughter would be labeled as a problem child. But at White Plains they understand the way my daughter thinks and care for her and discipline her accordingly. The worst thing you can do to any child is to have low expectations and limit what you think they can do. White Plains really sees my daughter for who she is- a unique little person. I would recommend White Plains to anyone. Their teacher to student ratios are absolutely in a class of their own, especially for the price. I have experience in the daycare field and found their tuition incredibly reasonable-especially because of the ratios and qualified staff.
Virginia Carroll: I can't speak for families of special needs children, but my typically developing toddler is loving his time at WPCC. He started at 15 months old and is now 18 months and has learned so much already. I have never heard a child crying any of the times I have picked him up, and the staff really cares about these kids. The thing I like best is that the staff truly engages with the children in a hands-on manner, rather than just fraternizing with each other which I have seen in other centers. We're very happy here! My only wish is that they had an infant room for kids under 12 months as we are expecting another baby soon and if we need child care it will be hard to wrap my mind around having the kids in 2 different places.
Colleen Davis: I agree with Gideon 110% We have a typically developing (4 yr old) daughter who also happens to have Sensory Integration Disorder and ADHD. White Plains was a God-send! The teachers are very knowledgeable, loving, compassionate and work with each child and their needs on an individual basis. Prior to WPCC, we had our child in a very well known, high ranking center. Unfortunately they were not able to meet her day-yo-day needs, resulting in a very unhappy little girl. Now she looks forward to going to school EVERY day! The office staff and Director are always pleasant and willing to offer assistance with whatever may be needed. As for the center being dirty....not true. It is filled with happy kids doing artwork and playing on the playground. You can't have kids without some grime...BUT the staff works diligently to keep up and keep things tidy and hygienic. I can't say enough about WPCC! -Colleen Davis

Children's Lighthouse of Cary - West Cary: what do users think?
Amber Shaw: We love it here! The Pre-K teachers, Ms. Bernita and Ms. Ron'Asia, are wonderful. They are very well rounded with learning and play.
su li: My 3 years old son has been in the children's lighthouse west cary since February of this year. The staffs are very friendly. Both of his teachers( Ms.Ty and Ms.Stephenson) are very professional. It was the first time for my son to attend full-day preschool, and they gave him a lot of care. He began to like preschool life gradually. We are so glad to choose the children's lighthouse west cary.
Ceci Kim: Great care. Great service. My 4 year-old girl enjoys her time there.
Monica Meacham: Great teachers and staff!
Steph B: Love childrens lighthouse and all the fun activities they do. The teachers and staff genuinely care about the children and families.
Bernita Leftwich: Our son has been at the Lighthouse since only 7 weeks old. He has been treated with great care and has reached and is continuing to reach so many milestones! His teachers have welcoming arms and communication skills are amazing. He has made so many friends he plans to continue growing with. We love getting picture updates of his classroom activities such as sensory activities , art work and even special enrichment’s like music class and now soccer shots 😆. He recently turned 2 and moved to a new classroom where he was welcomed and helped adjust, his 2 new teachers are super sweet and I can tell he looks forward to going to school. The admin staff is always so helpful and our baby loves all 3. Thank you to his teachers and the admin staff for all the love and care he is receiving
Tephanie Darden: My daughter loves Children's Lighthouse of West Cary. She started when she was 3 years old and now she is 8. She loves the educational, friendly, safe, positive and fun environment. She enjoys her interactions with her age appropriate friends and staff. We ALWAYS feel welcome and inviting. She is always looking forward to the before and after school care as well as the Summer program. She is allowed time to complete homework assignments with staff assistance, if needed. I would recommend this school to any parent that is looking to invest in a worry free, safe and fun environment for children of all ages.
Paul and Amy Quilty: This place is terrible. They have live-feed cameras that the parents can log into to see their kids throughout the day. You would think this would lead to the staff being on their best behavior; however, within our first two weeks there, we saw 4 occasions where the staff handled the children roughly. The final straw was when I saw my 1.5 year old daughter’s teacher lift her up off the ground by her right arm aggressively, yank, and move her forcefully from one area to another for not carrying her own water cup. When we brought up our concerns to the director and the owner they said they would use this incident as a “teachable moment” and her teacher would get “remedial training”. Did I mention she is 1.5 year old? My daughter, not the teacher, though that might be confusing because why would a fully grown adult get physically aggressive with a small child? Obviously we decided not to continue sending our daughter to this facility. The owner declined to give a full refund but did say they would not charge us fees for pulling out our child on short notice. In the end we reminded the owner that the safety of our daughter is not a “teachable moment”. Do not send your child here if you agree. Zero stars.
Mahima Gopalakrishnan: My son recently started at Children's Lighthouse at West Cary. During our initial visits, the director made sure all of our questions were answered, including the security incident that took place a couple of years ago when the previous owners were running this place. The director explained to us all the things new owners have put in place to get their 5 star status. She also explained how their security measures have been ramped up to avoid any reoccurence of the previous incident. The highlight for us, is when they allowed our son to visit the teacher and the class for an hour, as a discovery or a dry run before we confirmed or enrolled. This was a huge plus to us, which other places did not allow. I got to interact with my son's teacher directly for a few minutes and got to know her before I enrolled. The teacher is really good, she really loved kids and loves early childhood education too. They have an app through which the teacher can regularly post updates about the kids. I can also send her messages and she's pretty responsive. The classroom size and their playground size are slightly smaller than what I had observed in other daycares. The feature that I miss is the live web-cam. It would have been great, but was not a deal breaker for me.I'm writing this review just a month after we enrolled. So cannot comment on their curriculum and my child's progress. But I did observe that after we enrolled, the level of enthusiasm with which the front office greet you had gone down. As a parent, the staff's energy and optimism is something you look forward to and gives you confidence. Again, it is not a deal breaker, but something I'm sure all parents would appreciate.
Allison McHenry: My daughter loves this place. She started attending CLLC when she was 16 months and she still goes to before-school care now that she’s in kindergarten! The new management has succeeded in retaining some excellent teachers and admin staff. I know my daughter feels loved in her time spent at the Lighthouse!
Shaun Hoover: Fantastic curriculum and even better people at Children’s Lighthouse West Cary. Highly recommend to anyone seeking daycare and preschool for your family.
Puneetha Sanjeeva Reddy: I like the fact that my daughter started liking her school, teachers and the environment. Ms.Khalia and Ms.Hannah were very patient with my kid and helped her get through her difficult initial days at school.Though the initial date were very tough .Appreciate the staff for being very kind.
mugundan sadasivam: I am happy with the Children's lighthouse staffs starting right from scheduling the tour of the day care . This is the first preschool she is on , and I could see excellence on everything .
Jessica K. Park: I feel that our 2 year old and 4 year old are comfortable here and very much cared for by their teachers, director, and owner. We’ve gone to 4 daycares total over the course of their lives - not the best fit, then moving out of state, then too long of a work commute time compared to daycare closing time. We heard great things from one of our cousin’s friends whose child goes to Lighthouse. Both our girls are here Monday through Friday from 8-5pm. My 4 year old gives hugs to directors and her teachers at the end of the day and even shouts out “I love you” with a smile on her face when leaving. Even when mornings can be tough (or awful), they each can find comfort in their teachers - either reaching out to them to be held or hugged to help ease the transition. Our 4 year old can tell us something funny or her favorite thing that happened that day. There are included weekly activities like yoga, Spanish, music. They have seasonal festivals and other activities that we’ve all gone to as a family. Curriculum is clearly communicated. I greatly appreciate the calendars I can take home and also see by their classroom doors. And I can tell our 4 year old is learning a lot—addition, sight words, friction, etc. She actually likes doing homework each week. They are helping us with potty training our 2 year old (which I’m SO thankful for!) and I can tell it’s helping further her progress at home. The teachers, staff, director and owner are so incredibly kind, caring, patient, positive, and communicative. I love having the app to see daily pictures/video, meals/snacks eaten, notes on what needs to be replenished, etc. I’m very happy with our experience here. Thank you, Children’s Lighthouse of West Cary!
Ash Das: We have nothing but positive things to say about Children’s Lighthouse West Cary. The enjoyment and development we have witnessed in our daughter since she started in the toddler room are fantastic. Special thanks to the Teachers and the staff for their love and care. We would highly recommend the West Cary location, if you are looking for a safe, caring environment for your child!
Prasanth Pandeti: Everything was different for my kid. As he has come recently to USA. Luckily we got seat in childrens lighthouse Cary. Safety, food, neatness and staff are the best part. The meetings are so meaningful and helpful. Thanks to everyone for helping us in shaping our kid preschool experience a great one.
Claudia Gonzalez: We’ve had a positive experience with Children’s Lighthouse in West Cary. They always greet us as soon as we walk in. Our kids love going which is a big difference from their last daycare.
Oryanna Dube: My daughter just started here and she absolutely loves it! I love the app they use too that gives you regular updates throughout the day! Ide recommend them to anyone
Selena Romero: Children's Lighthouse of Cary has been such a joy to work with since our infant son started attending in January 2022. As a first time mom I was super nervous about leaving him at daycare, but Children's Lighthouse has been great about communication and checking in with us throughout the day, especially in the beginning. I love seeing the picture updates and knowing when he has had a bottle or a change. They also have flexible options for enrollment, offering full time, half days, or 2-3 days a week at different tuition rates that fit into our budget. And our son absolutely loves it there. You can tell he enjoys seeing other children and interacting with people. He gets wiggly in the car when we arrive and seems to have such an enjoyable time there. I would definitely recommend Children's Lighthouse of West Cary. :)
Larissa Christie: I have 2 girls that attend programs at Children's Lighthouse and they have a wonderful facility run by a caring and professional management team as well as several excellent teachers who have stayed well beyond the average one-year turnover rate in the childcare industry.
Jennifer Harris: We have loved having our son at Children’s Lighthouse of West Cary. The facility is very clean and the owners and administrative team are very organized. Not only do we feel our son is well taken care of and happy, but he has flourished in terms of development. The directors, teachers and owner have all made our family feel welcomed. Really everyone at the center has made us feel welcomed, they all greet my son by name whenever they see us in the hallway. We would recommend the West Cary location in a heartbeat if you are looking for a safe, caring and enriching environment for your child!
