Lochmere Golf Club: what do users think?
Thomas Lotrecchiano: It’s a 4 star course but the experience was 5. Good pace, nice greens and fairways.
Gary Olhoft: The greens were in quite good shape, but the fairways had sparse grass in many spots. It has been dry recently so many of the tea boxes were hard. The course has quite a number of challenging holes
Absolute Entertainment: I don't know if it's the green roof i'm getting better but I love this club period great people fun atmosphere nice pudding green nice driving range can't wait to try the course
Jeffrey Ribak: My wife and I played here on Mother’s Day. This was the first time we were told that it would be cart path only due to the course being dry. We could understand about to wet, but to dry. Really!! Made for a much longer round than it needed to be.
Henry M. Lancaster II: Short but challenging.
Dan Francis: The course was in good shape, great range and very friendly staff. The price was fair only complaint was it was cart path only and the course was dry.
m broughton: played 1st april '23. this used to be one of the nicer places to golf but it really went downhill. the tee boxes were legit mud. it's a cool layout tho.
Everett Bruce III: Not much to choose from in Cary unless you are a member somewhere but this course is nice for the price. Like most places they only seem to use range mats and a few need replacing. Staff is always amazing and the grill has great food and tv. Eat inside or outside. Membership is reasonable price. Only drawback is the course does not drain as well as others after rain.
Tim Riggs: Greens are in great shape!
aaron live: I only hit the driving range. It was nice. Staff was friendly. Will be going back to play a round soon.
dish e: Amazing place! Great golf course and even better staff of people!
Daniel N: Fun layout and above average greens, but the course is in horrible condition. Impossible to hit chip shots and ended up just using my putter everywhere within 40 yards (4 handicap)Paid $55 for a round and it was a complete waste of money. The ranger was also very rude and told us to hit when the group in front was well within range.
NC Man: Was there today. Hated that I had to give up my cart and share another person's. Covid is still raging and to put together 2 unknown in close proximity for several hours ( 5 hours actually) is irresponsible. Pace of play was really slow due unusually higher number of walkers - who probably decided against the cart option for the same reason. It does not make sense as there were a huge number of carts available. This is a show stopper for me. I never want to share cart again and there never will play at Lochmere again.
Kevin: Embarrassing golf course. The fact they are charging full price for a field full of mud and water with no grass is insane. Have fun hitting every shot fat.
Seung Jun Shin (4가족의 평범한 일상): 좋은 골프장입니다. 잔디관리가 우수합니다. 평지라서 편안합니다.
Adam Gunther (Gunther_zip): Ranger officer and his attitude are unacceptable. Unbelievable disrespect.
Jason Leymeister: It’s a shot makers course! The greens are challenging and WiILL change dramatically from hole to hole. The drainage issues are much better, but you can still find yourself in a swamp 2-3 days after a mild to moderate rain event.
John ‘Chachi’ Baiocco: I’ve played this course before. 60+ Degrees and sunny and the course is closed, but never once called to cancel tee times or inform us of the closure. Family in town wanting to golf with nice weather. Absolutely zero customer service or consideration.
Chad C: I had a great time out this past week. The greens were in fantastic shape. Well maintained and rolling true. Most tee boxes were in good shape.Tee time was booked at $50 but when. I arrived, they knocked $10 off without asking due to Cart Path Only in place for the day due to significant rain day before. Gotta love the honesty and respect for our money. Both pro and starter were polite but serious "I wanna see all 4 wheels on cement". I respect that. These guys work hard to keep their course playable all year.I'm not a member due to my work and kids getting in the way of regular golf, but this is definitely a place I would consider being a member.
Jacob Hoggard: Golf outing with my company. It was a huge success and everyone had lots of fun.
Patrick Teen: Played in a tournament. Course was in excellent condition.

Prestonwood Country Club: what do users think?
Scott Williams: Played golf here at a organizational golf tournament. Swanky clubhouse and very nice course.Edit: Played here again yesterday at another tournament. Man this course is excellent. Great to perfect shape. 5 stars.Edit: played here again on 6-26-2023 on the 'Fairway' course. Tees and greens are great. Grass on fairways was a little thin.Overall still an amazing club.
Chris G: Service and food are always top notch.
Andrew Murdock: Wedding here was great
Craig Groce: Outstanding staff, so glad to be a member.
Better 4 Your Body: Wish I had taken pictures of this buffet. The food here never disappoints. The facilities are very nice for business meetings that would include brunch or lunch. I was there for an event with the Morrisville Chamber of Commerce.
Israel Markevitz: Beautiful grounds
Holly Sullenger: Nice place for professional association events.
Shaniece Gamble: Such A Beautiful And Luxurious Country Club.I Attended A Tea Held Here And It Was Truly Beautiful And Amazing. The food was good The Staff Was Very Kind And Courteous , Which I Appreciate. The Decor Was So Beautiful And Festive. The Tea Was So Great As Well . So All The Way Around This Place Is Worth 5 Plus More Stars.
Ajit Sivadasan: Great place!!! 5 star +
James Chambers: Great food and wonderful staff at Prestonwood Country Club
Diana Braun: Attended a Lunch & Learn event with a guest speaker. Both the speaker and lunch was great!
Robert Sims: Members only but they do have tasty food offerings
Joel Holloway: One of my favorite Country clubs. Great staff, great food and a great environment. Great golfing spot!
William Foose: Attended a friend's wedding reception w 300+ people. This country club is over the top gorgeous! You will love visiting, what a grand place!
Jeff Philips: The setting at this location is absolutely astounding! I have been attending an event there for the last 10 years. While the service was OK, it was not outstanding as it had been in the past. This is the reason why I did not make this a 5 star review. I understand that the building was sold and is now under new ownership. The new staff was not nearly as accommodating as the previous staff. I certainly hope this isn't a sign of things to come. If so, I will let you know.
M Wright: Very nice venue for a wedding!
D Hanson: Wow, impressive. Grands and I rode bikes thru the neighborhood path around golf course. Very nice, well manicured, & safe environment. We stopped and played at the park as well. Love the life there!
Portal Putting: Greens are rolling good!
P Donner: Great
Kathy Crowe: Was there for an event. The setting was beautiful.
Henry M. Lancaster II: Great event host.

Sergeant America: It's absurd what you get for your money. Yes it is upscale but, having had the opportunity to oversee the employees as they work and being in a position to hear and see them without them knowing I was observing, I can say they genuinely care about what they do.They would revisit something a dozen times just to make sure it was perfect, even if it was a lid to a container needing to be open, they made sure it was open at an exact degree.I was also able to hear employees gossip. Something that would get many fired, the chatter here was only about how they were surprised by requests made for food to have specific toppings placed on it. The point of the conversation was an amazed take on why someone would want to do something that would hide the flavor they worked hard on achieving. They were careful not to say anything around visitors and, even as mild a conversation as this was, they had it in relative privacy. I don't blame them, either. After tasting the food I agree with their point as it is impeccable. If I wasn't already past that point in my life, I'd heavily consider this establishment to host any major event in my life.
Jay lee: nice experience to watch golf legends play
Suzela M.: Great tournament. Friendly people. Beautiful course.
Matt Covert: Family is solo second on the leaderboard. Bring it home tomorrow Jerry Kelly.
Sue Stevens: Gee, gosh.....don't know how the experience was since the SAS tournament is 3 weeks from now.....
Gregory Bennett: Poorly managed by Octagon.
Lee Bulluck: An excellent venue to watch some of the world's best golfers. Very fan friendly and a beautiful set (3) of golf course surrounding an awesome club house. 😎⛳🏌️
Jeicam Photography: I work there and took the photo
NC1Mike A: Good event, great food!
Amy: Superb experience
Gary Wilkinson: Great course . Good fans.
Kurt D: Beautiful venue and weather, friendly people and high level golf.
Bruce Manning: The Masters of the Senior Tour! Everyone is respectful, the grounds are immaculate, the players seem as happy to be here as we do to have them. No pimento cheese sandwiches, but well worth the time for golfers who value tradition.
Jordan Lassiter: Great tournament for the old guys!
Michael Laney: A well run golf tournament with many big names in the senior tour, worth checking out but read up on the parking and transportation location prior to getting near the site.

Knights Play Golf Center: what do users think?
Heath Winslow: Has become too crowded. Can take upwards of 3 hours to play 18, often with 15 minutes wait at each tee. Too many large groups and slow play, which isn't enforced. Even the driving range is completely packed most days. Arriving on a weekday morning to avoid crowds doesn't help., It's packed all the time now. I like the course . Price is decent. But it's just become way too crowded. If I want to spend 4 hours playing, I'll go play a full size course.
dave renn: Great place to practice or play if it isn't too busy. It's usually pretty crowded. The staff is excellent, the par 3 course can be challenging... Not many straight putts and most people don't repair ball marks on greens. The tee boxes are a little rough but they do take a lot of abuse. Nice place to unwind.
Jeannie Noble: This course is great for par 3 play. There are 3 courses which vary in difficulty. The owners and staff go above and beyond to make sure the experience is enjoyable. The golf carts are new. The driving range has plenty of bays.
Brian: What an awesome par 3 course. Most par 3s I've played a pretty bad tracks but Knights Play is in gear condition, fantastic greens and 27 holes of challenging par 3 golf. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced golfer give this place a try! ( Oh, and you can play at night!!!!)
Andrew Mariani: Knights play is a fun spot. Not to be judged versus real golf courses but cheap and fun to play the par3 courses
Chasingfades: Great place for beginners
Stephen Lankford: Great location really. Great staff. Great facilities. Schedule a Tee time. The place gets busy.
촤노쓰: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry $6–10More
Joshua Safford: Foods amazingly good course is fun and can play 18 in about 2 1/2 hours the staff is absolutely caring my kiddo got stung by a bee they gave us some apple cider vinegar helped so much and every time we go we have lunch in the cafe it’s great value the $10 lunch special includes a small bucket of range balls!! That’s a super deal! We will be back soon as usual!!!
Ajay Pandey: Great course for newbies and the experience players.
Elle P.: Great course!! All par 3!! Open layout. Each hole is designed differently. The greens are well manicured. It's a cart path, only course. Also, they and a driving range bay. You can rent a bucket of balls and clubs. The clubhouse has all the golf things one could need, food, equipment, and apparel. They serve our Clubhouse Grill for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a snack.
Jason Quigley: Had some fun play 9 holes with the guys. It's a nice way to meet some friendly people, even if you do knock it in the water.Visited on Weekday Wait time 10–30 min Price for adult entry $6–10 …More
Lauren: Friendly, unpretentiousVisited on Weekend …More
George Hesse: Nice location,,,Price for entry: $10.00Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …More
Blake Galarza: The weekends are usually pretty busy. If you play golf at a higher level, but obviously not a pro by any means, the wait can test your patience. For that I give it 4 stars. It's a great place to get a quick round in during the week after work though Reasonably priced, and the staff are friendly and professional.Visited on Weekend Reservation recommended Yes …More
Carol Hesse: First time here and brought friends from out of town. We wanted to just hit a bucket of balls. They have plenty of space to accommodate many. Reasonably priced too.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait …More
James Conklin: They have a driving range, well maintained course, coaches, kids lessons, and camps, something for everyone.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $21–30 …More
Heidi Considine: Great vibe w friends!! Honestly wish they left the lights on until midnight because it’s so much fun!
Gary Olhoft: Driving range crowded todayVisited on Public holiday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure Price for adult entry Free …More
Ray Bowles: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Yes Price for adult entry $11–15More
Alex L: Fun par 3 course and driving range. The guys running the place are always friendly to me. It definitely gets crowded on nice days but what golf course doesn't?

Old Chatham Golf Club: what do users think?
Portal Putting: Always pure, best course in the area anytime of the year
Sharon Biagiotti Meyers: Stunning property
Sharon Biagiotti-Meyers: Absolutely stunning grounds
Argenis Richards: Limpio y muy bien organizado con persona muy hamables acargo lo recomiendo.
Jay Klompmaker: It is one of the finest courses I've played. It is a great golf experience for the higher handicap player yet challenging enough to be chosen by the USGA for one of their national amateur championships. The course is always well-conditioned. the staff attentive and courteous, and the food great - especially when eaten from the back porch of the clubhouse overlooking the 18th hole. There is a beautiful, four-suite cottage for the use of out-of-town members overlooking the large Practice Area. This club has everything the discerning golfer expects.
Ronald Coulson: Old Chatham Golf Club lives up to its National reputation. The uncrowded golf course is maintained to championship conditions. Challenging, but fun to play. The professional staff is attentive and the classic clubhouse inviting. The large back porch overlooking the 18th green is my favorite. Wonderful golf experience…truly a special place.
John “Jack” McDonald: It is a sanctuary where you can easily get a tee time any time of the day to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing round of gold by yourself or with friends. There is no place like it in the Triangle
Ray Vrscak: Outstanding golf course and outstanding staff. #1 golf experience in the Raleigh Durham area
Rob R.: This is one of the best golf courses in the South. Every time I play there I have an amazing experience. The course is always in pristine condition and the staff make every golf outing a day to remember. It is rare to find a place like this.
Lee Morris: My favorite place! Can't wait to get there and hate to leave. The best golf club in the area and one of the best in the South
George Leight: Still the best kept secret of all golf courses in this area even though it is the highest rated course by the NC Golf Panel and the only course in the area to host a USGA National Championship - 2019 US Senior Am. Beautiful and challenging - maintained as a firm, fast, championship level track with fast, smooth greens. No real estate component so just a beautiful walk through pine and hardwood forests.
James Bick: With only 18 holes and no houses on over 400 acres in the center of the Triangle, Old Chatham is a unique experience. Maintained in championship condition, it's a privilege to play year round. Limited membership ensures easy access and great service. Fantastic practice facilities, including large two-sided range and new short game area.
Allen Wilson: An retreat in the middle of the RTP that just happens to have the best golf course in the area. Quality of the experience only exceeded by the quality of the membership. First class all the way.
Jim Duncan: Old Chatham is that rare gem of a golf club that places the traditions of the game and the player experience its highest priorities.
Bill McGee: Great course.
Lee Bulluck: Beautiful golf course with very nice clubhouse. Great place to stage the 2019 US Senior Amateur golf tournament
Todd Stewart: Fantastic!
Heather Massey: My father was not feeling well and needed some water. He was on the verge of passing out. He asked one of the maintenance employees if he could have a bottle of water from a case he was standing beside. The employee said that it was for employees only and wouldn’t give him anything. My father stated he wasn’t feeling well and needed water. The young employee still said no. This makes me furious. Clearly at this golf course they could care less about people’s state of health.
london gessnerr: Pretty cool golf course the staff here is excellent real good people.
Farnoosh Brock: We love Old Chatham Golf Club. We have been members here for more than two years now and it is the first and only club of which we have been such members. It is truly an exclusive and every very very special place, with wonderful genuine and amazing people, every single one. The course is beautiful, always well manicured an extremely well-kept, and of the highest quality among any golf courses around the world. The members are friendly, polite and you get to meet fascinating people. Can’t recommend this special place enough for amazing golf experience.
Joe Benza: The best golf experience in the triangle. First class all the way. Immaculate conditions, fantastic layout and the staff could not have been more attentive and courteous. This is a hidden gem in NC for the golf enthusiast.
