elizabeth cintron: I can’t express enough about how I just got the best color and cut I’ve ever had in my life! Jamal transformed my streaky highlights to a vibrant warm brown. Customer service is sincere and fun. There’s no crowd and no rush but appointments will be filled quickly if you wait too long as the phone was ringing for the next earliest appointment. Delicious baklava and tea always available.Favorite part: Doesn’t mind taking the creative steering wheel if you ask for help. Before and after pictures attached.

He understood what I wanted and knows how to work with my hair type. My two boys have long hair and got haircuts with him last week and they are happy with what he did. Great hairstylist.

I have baby fine thinning hair. It was shoulder length. I needed a short bob to clean it up. With great nervous anxiety, I sat quietly as he worked my hair. I waited to get home to play with my haircut/ style. I now can say this is probably one of the best cuts I ever had, other than my own wife, of course, but he knew exactly what I wanted based on the picture I showed him. I thought the price was high, & kinda shocking, but I'm always apprehensive to spend money on myself. However, I understand the price because he is experienced. So the price reflects the fact you're getting a Master stylist who has years of experience! I loved the fact there were no lines, no crowds. Keara Sammon: Terrible recent experience. A few months ago I got my hair cut at this salon and the artist did a wonderful job! I scheduled another hair cut with this artist and had to cancel the appointment due to a last minute conflict. There is a 24 hour cancelation policy that they have in place so I called on Friday at 10:20 am to cancel my Saturday 10:00am appointment. They charged me 50% of the service for calling 20 min past the 24 hours. As someone in business as well, I completely understand a fiscal responsibility, however I also understand the importance of relationships with clients and to screw a client financially for 20 minutes was rather harsh. I did not even have a card on file, so ultimately, if I never showed up for appointment or called I wouldn't have been charged. However, although I called 23 hours and 40 minutes in advance, they still felt the need to penalize me and I paid the amount out of good deed at this point. From a talent standpoint they do a wonderful job, but from a business standpoint very poor. Needless to say this is not a business that I care to recommend to others or ever return to as the receptionist and whoever she was speaking with behind the scenes did not care to continue a relationship or have any understanding.

My stylist Anna was very competent, professional, and I would never have known she was still training! She did an amazing job, especially given the thickness of my hair!! Lauren Eastman: I just recently moved to Cary and was in need of finding a new hair salon. I went into the salon. It is beautiful, a nice ambiance, and the customer service was amazing. They were unfortunately not able to provide the specific services that I needed; however they did (which they didn’t have to do) provide me with some salons that could help me. It didn’t matter that they were sending me off to another place of business; rather they wanted to help me find the right fit. Now as a New Yorker all I can say is wow your customer service and compassion alone was amazing.

Laughing Place: Loved my cut and color but unfortunately the grays did not cover. I expressed feeling insecure about returning for a correction since my hair is delicate from autoimmune disease, and I hadn’t heard anything about how the issue could be corrected. Would have appreciated a kinder attitude in the owner’s response after spending a couple hundred dollars and leaving a generous tip. Won’t be returning. S Sangermano: I had been getting my hair done by Theya for over five years. During my last visit I didn’t love the finished result and she offered to correct it for me within a few days of my appointment. She updated the color and told me it was no problem and she was happy to do it. I booked my next appointment. Today I get a text out of the blue that I my appointment was cancelled with a brief text saying that I was “no longer a fit” for her services. I honestly thought it was a scam, I couldn’t believe she would treat me like that. I am devastated and heart broken. I have never been dropped out of the blue or treated so poorly by someone I trusted.

Doug Kalning: My wife has been going to Salon93 for a few years now. She gets her blonde hair "highlighted" and cut by Theya. I love my wife's hair and no one has ever done it better than Theya. Not only does Theya get the mix of shades perfect, but she also gives subtle differences through the year for the different seasons. It is a work of art when she is done.But Theya is more than an artist. My wife has MS and trouble can happen from the heat of a blow dryer, or too extreme of a tilt when washing her hair. All these details Theya takes in stride. She never makes my wife feel like she is imposing. Instead, if anything, they have become closer friends because of the mutual trust and care.Theya is everything you would want in a hairstylist. Technical skills, artistic flair and personal caring. Kara Black: Very kind staff, however I was not pleased with the color, blending and the distinct line where my roots ended an inch and a half from my scalp $200 plus tip.They retreated and were able to blend away the 1 inch of root growth after I spent 15 minutes trying to explain to them that a straight line between the blonde and my natural dark color was unacceptable. They acted like it was so difficult to understand. There was no caramel base, nor yellow blonde, nor vivid contrast between the colors from the photo that I brought. She even used foils.
