J. B.: The service here is really great, but it is an order-at-the-counter setup, so not a full sit-down service, but still very helpful people. The food is really good. It is almost as hot as the food served in India, so don't think you can handle the hot level if TexMex is your idea of hot. One of our guests from North Asia said he likes really hot spicy food, but was shocked at how hot the hottest dish was. He had to get extra bread and mix in some yogurt in to finish his meal. The manager was very helpful and offered to replace the meal with something less spicy. However, my friend was determined to finish what he ordered. The manager later gave him a gift card for his next meal. Now that is customer oriented service! I had the shrimp in butter sauce and enjoyed the normal spice level just fine. The cilantro sauce is excellent and adds flavor to the dish.
Jay B: Sorry, but this food is awful. Greasy, does not taste authentic, a real let down. I literally dumped in the trash after a few bites and cooked ramen, which was better/also awful, but that is what I had on hand. For example, sag paneer was mostly onions, and a minuscule amount of paneer (cheese) and sag (spinach)..People give this a good review, why?never again..

g sandeep: Ordered food today and found a new charge after my card was processed. When asked the reason, I was told that the charge is for processing the card and If I pay with cash there won’t be any extra charges. In other places I have seen this processing charge when total is less than $10. But looks like the total amount does not matter now. I do understand how difficult it is to maintain a restaurant, but it would be good if we are told upfront about these charges. Hope the management will be more transparent when implementing these new charges.

R J: We tried the biryani combos and Paneer Biryani. People running the place are very pleasant and smiling always. It was nice to get some enthusiastic and friendly service. Food was good although the paneer Biryani was more a pulao than Biryani. The naan and double ka meetha in the goat biryani combo were very good. Samosas looked a little small. The only issue I had was that no receipt was given to me and apparently there was an additional 2-3$ added to my 15$ Biryani. For what- dont know.

Megann Bonner: My family and I came here a few nights ago for my mom's birthday. Raj was out waiter and he was fantastic! He was kind funny and gave us recommendations on new dishes to try. Everything he recommended was delicious. He even gave my mom a birthday hug. They were kind enough to bring out cake and sing happy birthday, as well and they put us in a little private room that made the experience more intimate. We will definitely be back to Nazara!

Nicole Kaghat: My girlfriend and I went there and hadn’t been there since before Covid. I do get delivery at home, and there was always a big pile of oil at the bottom of our dishes. (Seed oils?) So I figured I’d go into the restaurant to see if eating in house solved the problem. The prices are very high and portions much smaller than they used to be. And, we had two waiters who insisted that we share a bowl of rice, instead of giving us the rice that comes with our meal! They were rude, and I got a air of male chauvinism from them. I will not be returning.

There is a Food Lion adjacent to this place and have seen them walking across for quick replenishment.My favorites are Aloo naan (Eat it warm)/green chutney The Chicken tikka grill (spicy), Onion Bhaji, Samosa chat, Mirchi bhaji, and Chowmein. The prices with the food quality for Indian and Indo-Chinese would make this place a good option for some of the items listed above.Though the Tandoor/Grill/Fried entrees would be their strong points, The curries/gravies would need attention.

Thom Hyde: This might be my favorite restaurant in Raleigh (maybe crazy to say, I know - but the quality of the food, cost to deliciousness ratio, and consistency is tough to beat), and certainly my favorite Indian food I've had.Not many other meals cheer me up as much as a plate with the perfect mix of gobi Manchurian, saag paneer, and extra spicy chicken Tikka masala with some roti or garlic naan ready to go.Definitely recommend checking it out for yourself!

praveen Kumar: Food for no doubt is bad. But the way they treat you as a customer is worse. They assigned a seat to me and when I started eating, one of the working staff told me that seat was assigned to different people. I don't know what to do or how to react, I came to my senses and directed him to the person who asked me to sit there. I couldn't eat my food there and had to come out finishing as soon as I can. Worst experience.

Mohan G: Oh yeah! This is what I have been waiting for. The food spread was beautifully presented, and the taste was excellent. The non-vegetarian dishes had that extra kick of spice, which added to their appeal. Briyani was simply awesome; just blissful(can be less of oil). Oh man...I'm still craving for the Biryani (next time tummy 😋) . I must mention that the Payasam and Jamoons were exceptional as well. It was definitely worth the money, and the entire trip to Cary became worthwhile (obviously after our beloved friends😊) Staffs were courteous. Well done Team Anjappar! You made Tamilnadu Proud. Vishrut Sundararajan: Ended up coming on a busy Sunday afternoon and it was crowded with long wait times. We decided to wait, and it was worth it! The chicken biriyani tastes the same as their other branches that I’ve tried in Chennai and Muscat. I was expecting the restaurant to be larger than it is, hence was a bit taken aback by the size. But the food and service more than makes up for it!

Hans Enders: Really slow service, but yummy meal. 45 minutes for two dosa? Sad that they use one-time use plastic bottles of water and plastic to-go cups for other beverages. Apparently, they don't have a dishwasher for glasses. I feel they put the orders in for in-dining patrons in the same production line as the many to-go orders. Probably why we had to wait so long, ug! There is a nice mural painting of an agricultural scene in India, and somehow a really sweet, wooden canoe hanging overhead. I suppose that is leftover from the prior leasing business here. shrug

If any people want to eat Indian food in USA highly recommend this restaurant. We have visited many restaurants in USA but the taste which we found over here we didn’t experience that in other restaurants the food was good the staff were very polite. Ravi Chellani: Spicy food!We went for the buffet. Its not just regular spicy, it is Hyderabad spice level on most dishes.Place looks average. Tables are stacked very close to each other so no privacy.
Moon Roy: We love Persis food and often eat there or do take out. But past weekend we did a big catering for my daughter’s graduation. We actually approached them very late. But the owner was so accommodating and did their best in such a short notice. I can say each dish tasted different and curries were really good. There is no compromise on taste and quality. The chef added his own twist and add ons to some of the items which were very much appreciated by the crowd.I would highly recommend any of the restaurants under their chain ( BLR, Wok on fire, Persis)

Three dishes have arrived over the course of about 30 mins and I have no idea when the rest will arrive. As a side note, this place is an accessibility nightmare. Barely enough room for my elderly grandmother with a normal sized walker to come in past the host stand and first few tables. Very strange place. The waiter just sort of came over and stared at us when it was time to order.Update: food was absolutely delicious once it all arrived. But we’re now just sitting here waiting on the cheque—have been for a while. These folks don’t seem to have heard of “anticipatory service.”Wheelchair accessibility: Not good.
