praveen Kumar: Food for no doubt is bad. But the way they treat you as a customer is worse. They assigned a seat to me and when I started eating, one of the working staff told me that seat was assigned to different people. I don't know what to do or how to react, I came to my senses and directed him to the person who asked me to sit there. I couldn't eat my food there and had to come out finishing as soon as I can. Worst experience.

Mohan G: Oh yeah! This is what I have been waiting for. The food spread was beautifully presented, and the taste was excellent. The non-vegetarian dishes had that extra kick of spice, which added to their appeal. Briyani was simply awesome; just blissful(can be less of oil). Oh man...I'm still craving for the Biryani (next time tummy 😋) . I must mention that the Payasam and Jamoons were exceptional as well. It was definitely worth the money, and the entire trip to Cary became worthwhile (obviously after our beloved friends😊) Staffs were courteous. Well done Team Anjappar! You made Tamilnadu Proud. Vishrut Sundararajan: Ended up coming on a busy Sunday afternoon and it was crowded with long wait times. We decided to wait, and it was worth it! The chicken biriyani tastes the same as their other branches that I’ve tried in Chennai and Muscat. I was expecting the restaurant to be larger than it is, hence was a bit taken aback by the size. But the food and service more than makes up for it!

Hans Enders: Really slow service, but yummy meal. 45 minutes for two dosa? Sad that they use one-time use plastic bottles of water and plastic to-go cups for other beverages. Apparently, they don't have a dishwasher for glasses. I feel they put the orders in for in-dining patrons in the same production line as the many to-go orders. Probably why we had to wait so long, ug! There is a nice mural painting of an agricultural scene in India, and somehow a really sweet, wooden canoe hanging overhead. Prashant Singh: Don’t trust on their Google maps closing time. They close much before. Today I went at 1:50 pm when they were scheduled to close at 2:30 pm. The server saw my family coming in and closed the gate and when I asked he said that their kitchen closes at 2:00 pm so I can’t order. Pathetic.! J. B.: The service here is really great, but it is an order-at-the-counter setup, so not a full sit-down service, but still very helpful people. The food is really good. It is almost as hot as the food served in India, so don't think you can handle the hot level if TexMex is your idea of hot. One of our guests from North Asia said he likes really hot spicy food, but was shocked at how hot the hottest dish was. He had to get extra bread and mix in some yogurt in to finish his meal. The manager was very helpful and offered to replace the meal with something less spicy. However, my friend was determined to finish what he ordered. The manager later gave him a gift card for his next meal. Now that is customer oriented service! I had the shrimp in butter sauce and enjoyed the normal spice level just fine. The cilantro sauce is excellent and adds flavor to the dish.

I literally dumped in the trash after a few bites and cooked ramen, which was better/also awful, but that is what I had on hand. Ayisha Rehan: We came here on Friday afternoon for lunch with my son and daughter. We ordered Chicken 65 as an appetizer, and chicken biryani and paya with naan. My son didn’t eat much but he said the paya was really good and the chicken 65 was okay. For my daughter, we ordered the biryani as low of a spice level as possible so that she could eat it. The biryani we got was soo good she almost over ate!! She insisted we order another biryani to go so she could eat it for dinner too. So we asked them to pack a chicken biryani with the same spice level as the one we’d just been served and we also packed the remaining biryani and paya. When we got home she finished the remaining biryani and very much enjoyed it!! However, when she opened the 2nd pack of biryani we had ordered to go for dinner, she had a VERYY hard time eating it as she said it was too spicy for her. When we tried it, we too agreed it was too spicy for her. In the end she still managed to finish it ( with the help of a lot of dahi). She was very sad that the biryani she ate during lunch with such gusto became so difficult for her to eat during dinner. I hope that the staff takes care from next time to note down customer preferences more accurately so that such incidents don’t happen again. Besides this incident, the rest of the food was great and I will probably return here to eat again.

Santosh Dash: Great ambience .. the chai was great .. and so was the mutton soup .. mutton sukha was ok .. chicken pepper and goat curry has too much masala .. overall a good place .. gajar ka halwa with ice cream was good too.Update 6/21/23 - mutton soup was decent z the quality has gone down , the sahi tukda was very bad , bread was oily and wasnt soaked in rabri. Chirag Surati: This is going to be a tough review. The service and ambiance was amazing however the sizzles did not amaze me at all. The had a weird taste to me and multiple guest. I would definitely suggest sticking to the Currys. There naans did top the cake. Not everyone can make naans the way they did.Bon Appetit!

Reetin Ghasi: Nice location, right off NC 55 and close to the RTP triangle. Smaller than expected but we were able to get a reservation for 12 without any issues. Slight drink mixup which was corrected. The Fajita category of foods was a fun mix of Mexican presentation of Indian food and in general all the food and drinks were 👍. Extensive drink menu so a great place to meet at the bar.

Streaming Analytics: We have experienced Urban Angeethi in two ways. First, they catered a party at our house. The service was exactly as advertised. It was professional, efficient, and delicious. Our guests ate more than we expected! We absolutely recommend them for any party catering. Second, we have dined at their restaurant. The decor is very nice and the service was quick! It seemed like just a few minutes between when we ordered and the food came out piping hot. Overall, I can say that both experiences were very positive and that I can’t wait to enjoy their food and service again. Thanks Sagar and the rest of the Urban Angeethi crew!!

Dan Jukic: Another gem in a non-descript spot, not to be missed if you're in the Research Triangle area. The tandoori paneer was outstanding, as were all three dishes we sampled (lentils, lamb, chicken). The atmosphere is "comfy modern" and appropriate for a date or a lunch.
