Groucho's Deli: what do users think?
Luke S: Great sandwiches and service. I'm a fan of the dippers (hot sandwiches) and the blonde brownies are delicious.
Alex L.: really weird that folks rant about a sauce that is like, thousand island dressing. (45) i blame my tatebuds though, and would recommend this deli any day. accurate order and i look forward to trying some different sauces. solid and regional deli, thanks, guys!
Victor Mendez: A great sub and always nice staff
Marshall Sherrod: Fast and delicious
Peyton McIntosh: Fresh and tasty ingredients, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and decent prices!
Gregory Diamond: The Ruben I order from this establishment was truly sub-par. The meat was faux Corned Beef or Pastrami, the bread fell apart, which indicates to me it is stale. The sandwich was not worthy of feeding to a dog!
Ted Arthur: Greasy, cheap sandwiches. Portions match the price.
Mary Merchant: So delicious and the staff is always amazing!!
Robin Mehera: Came here on a weekday for lunch. Heard this was a great sandwich spot so had to check it out. It was quite slammed for a Thursday afternoon. They have a large list of food options. But surprisingly very expensive for what you get. They also have a large beer list at cheap prices. But 11-4 daily hours, kind of odd to have beer specials. The food itself is good but portions are surprisingly small. I paid extra to get pasta salad, but it is designed for kids.Overall food is good but portions are small and it’s too expensive. Have to give it a 3 star review.
John Constantelos (JC): Love their salads and subs, I definitely recommend this place.
Robert Andrews: Delicious sandwiches. From what I have ordered, it seems like you are supposed to dip the sandwiches in sauces. The sandwiches are simple but good. The food seems to be high quality. It wasn't extraordinary but there aren't really any faults with the restaurant. I would recommend.
Curtis Medina: Big fan of Groucho's in S Carolina, but this one just missed for me. The flavor of the tuna in the tuna salad was watery and bland, they wanted to charge for the thousand island dressing for the side (which is free at the location I used to go to) and this dressing dip is one of the main reasons I like going here. It closes at 3pm, much too early for me to get there most days. I thought this would be a go-to for me but the quality control and little things were lacking.
Kelly Stokes: Such a good, regionally local sandwich shop. The only other location I've been to is Columbia, SC, and it's great too. Tasty sandwiches, quality meats, fresh bread, and friendly service. If my son chooses NC State for college, we'll definitely frequent this spot off Hillsbourough!
Brad Alford: Love the STP as usual.
Keegan Winfield: Much better than the godfather, which was very mid!
J L Phillips: For College kids, not for me. The soup was canned
Mark Harrison: Small "deli" sandwiches. No onions. Oil vinegar at the "deli" and the Grouchos fanous chips... a nice bag of lays.
Je jorneeTV: Ordered online for lunch. Time stamp was pick up at 1:20pm I arrived at 1:21pm. And literally waited 10 to 15mins more for my order. No urgency and mediocre customer service. The dining area had maybe 10 people. It’s 2022 of course you be expected to wait.
William Smith: First time eating here. Was very impressed with my food WAY better than the village deli! I highly recommend!
Lindsay Shirey: Parking: Very little parking, find metered parking on surrounding streets.
Gray Barnhill: Great service. The environment was friendly, food came out quickly, however, the food was just average. Good, but just a sandwich and chips! Really good ice and Pepsi products! 😁

Galatic Cat: Fantastic service. Got my food quickly. Was delicious, fantastic prices and service. I've been coming here for years, and they seem to only improve! Great place.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly, offer a kids menu as well as booster seats
Mary Jones: Ordered delivery and my roast beef and hot pastromi were both fresh and delicious with a good portion of meat but NOT as piled high as in the pictures! Blue chips and red pepper hummus were both fresh and awesome tasting, the best I have ever had. Prices are better than the competitors because you get a side! UPDATE 6/2/23 had delivery again and my Beefeater and Hot Pastrami were delicious and piled high with meat!!❤️ Love the unique sides and this time got the fresh cucumber slices and tzatziki sauce for dipping!! American potato salad was surprisingly sweet so I added my own real mayo and seasoned salt and it was all good. Prices are very reasonable especially when you add in the quality and quantity of food you get!!!❤️❤️6/22/23 ordered the Papa Joe which tasted surprisingly sweet and it was the same price as the pastrami but 1/2 the size. Also with this sandwich I got 3 strawberries with a side of whipped cream and was charged an extra $2.79 Love this place but will stick to to larger bread sandwiches!!
Brian Cole: We arrived about 2 hours before closing as a party of 8 on a Tuesday night. Even though the place was empty, the staff acted like we were such a burden. Hugging and impatient during orders, dirty looks when we asked questions, and just aloof in general. There was someone cleaning the salad bar with some solution, but leaning over the food. My father(76yo) tripped over a rolled up mat that had been left in the floor. Luckily, he was able to catch himself on the table, but his full salad bowl went all over the floor/table/other family members. When I told the manager he stared blank eyed and finally said, "Um, ok. I guess I'll clean it up." It took him at least a couple of minutes to come over and start attempting to sweep the floor(never used a mop). No one ever apologized or even asked if my dad was ok. We had to ask for another bowl and I had to move the rug, because after cleaning the manager just walked away and left it. Forget good customer service, I have not witnessed such blatant disregard for a customer's safety(much less dining experience) ever in any retail environment. Absolutely appalling! The soups were not even warm and the rest of the food mediocre at best. Be better... If you can(which I highly doubt).
John Riley: This place is so bad it is embarrassing. My Italian Cruz sandwich had so little meat it was a joke The broccoli cheese soup was gooey and worse than supermarket soup. The place was empty at 6:30 so perhaps the world is catching on.
Sania C: I didn’t like the people that were sitting in this Jason’s Deli when I went there. The vanilla ice cream machine was down :( but my bf was able to fix it! Anyways, I wish it worked in the first place. Very nice salad bar. Next time we will be sure to get the baked potato!Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

deirdre williams: Purchased two pastrami sandwiches meat was rubbery and had no taste, called location when i got home spoke with manager Steve who assured me i would be refunded for tasteless sandwiches but i have not received, do not waste your moneyFood: 1/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Abi Turner (Buzbuz9): We come here all the time. Love the staff and food. Lots of options, so there is something for everyone. The service is always quick and friendly. They have a nice sitting area both in and outside. If you eat at the restaurant your meal even comes with a free icecream. We will 100% be backVegetarian options: The menu has some decent vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: Good place to bring kids
