JessKT: Normally I would give a 5-star to most Burlington. This location isn’t really organized. I cannot find kids undies. It doesn’t have a section for those stuff.

When we were here today, it wasn't even scanned, it was just straight up removed from the order so our cashier could possibly keep it for herself. She already contacted the store about this. It was a really great dress as well. And yet, we were still charged the entire price; no Cashback, no refund. As a result, I'm sorry, but if I ever go back to Burlington, it's only the one on Capital Blvd from here on out. Pathetic.

I needed to use the fitting room which is in the front of the store now and only 2 of them, they're were occupied for at least 10 minutes and there were other people in front of me. Hamayoun Yousuf: The worst place to go for shopping, today 5/9/23 at 8:15 pm, I want to exchange my paint because it was wrong size, since I didn’t have the receipt, she was accusing me of stealing the paint, because the computer was not scanning the Price tag. Both cashiers were rude and they didn’t know the store’s policy. Most of the customers at this location are immigrants and they Get hard time When they want to return or exchange something. Many customers are thinking to file a discrimination lawsuit.

I have brand name clothes that aren’t that old and they really don’t take much anymore, nor do they give you any amount of money that is even remotely close to “fair”. I tried uptown cheapskate for the first time before bringing my last bag of items here. All I can say is do not waste your time taking your clothes to Plato’s! They took two items and gave me $8.. uptown took more items and I received $80. The staff at Platos weren’t very friendly but at uptown they were. I definitely will not be returning to Plato’s.

KATHLEEN TAYLOR: Very nice staff and nice selection for the size. When selling clothes it's best to get in early. They are pretty fair and have always been willing to explain why they took what they did and not other things. For example a jacket looked great but the inside fleece had too much lint. That's fair! I was able to fix that and sell it afterwards. Will be repeat customer.

Kibriyaa Nash: If I could give this store 0 stars I would. This store rips people off for their clothes and their ‘manager’ possesses no managerial skills. I asked the so called manager to clarify where did she see that the clothes were not in ‘good condition’ and she raised her voice at me. Plato’s needs to hire mature individuals to represent their stores and are able to handle certain questions. Do not ever go to this location!

The staff are also very friendly!BAD: Almost every time I’m in there, someone has their screaming child in tow. I guess there’s nothing the workers can do about it.

Miriya Carson: they are way too picky and lowkey judgey. i was turned away several times before they took a look through my clothes. i brought in a bunch of nike shorts, american eagle items, etc and they barely took anything and they weren't that nice. i went to another place and they were a lot nicer and only took 30 min to look through my stuff rather than 2.5 hours.

Lamone Hodges: Very friendly and helpful atmosphere! Great selection of high-end clothing, jeans being my favorite. I ABSOLUTELY love the friendly mannerisms of Zeniah, Shania, and Ashley. Jenna Isgitt: Don’t come to this location unless you want to be stolen from. I brought in 2 bags of things and when leaving, they tried to tell me one bag wasn’t mine. I went on to say that it is for sure mine and I could list out everything that was in the bag if I needed to. They let me take both bags, and when I got home I checked through them to make sure nothing was taken that they didn’t buy. Well, 3 things were missing that they did not buy from me, one being a brand new tank top with the tag still on it. I called and they gave me nothing but attitude, blaming the mix up on how my bags looked. I wasted time and gas money having to drive all the way back just to get what they tried to steal from me.

kayla rose: This place is ridiculous. I brought 3 huge bags of stuff that’s 100% in style and in season. They didn’t even go through 2 of my bags… everything was folded exactly how i left it. I had to wait 3 hours for them to tell me they can’t take anything. They were super busy so clearly they didn’t even care to go through my stuff. The staff is horrible and rude. Don’t recommend at all.

Karen Allen: This place is hit or miss. Sometimes they have a geet selection of nice, modest clothing and other times it is nothing but skimpy clothing! It is for a younger crowd so in fairness to them, that is probably more than issue.

But, of course, a week later, they still can't find the boot's mate.Unreliable.

Greg Garcia: Went 3 days in a row to try to sell clothes, each day being 4-6 hours before they closed. Every time I was told that they had reached their buying limit for the day already. I understand having a limit, but if you advertise your company as one that buys clothes from people, then you should be buying for longer than just 4 hours.

Lena: If you have been to other plato’s it is not a similar experience at all. They reach capacity of sales within an hour of opening every day and I have found give much lower offers than other stores I have been to. Really just a pain and not reliable. Also in a hard-to-reach location.

Sam Star: So annoyed with the policies here. I bought a crop top and was charged $18 for it because according to the tag it was part of a "2-piece set" but the bottoms simply did not come with the top, and it was only the top alone. After I got my receipt and realized I was charged the price for the top and bottom, I talked to a worker and the most they could do was give me a refund in CASH when I paid with my card, and they said they couldn't sell me the top alone. Not only did they screw me over by having a disorganized store and incorrectly tagged items, they couldn't even give me a refund in the right form after THEIR mistake. It's not like I went back a week later, I addressed the problem about 5 seconds after I checked out and was entirely dissatisfied with how everything was handled. Good luck finding the bottoms to that dumb top anywhere in your mess of a store....

London Simone: This Ross Dress for Less is fantastic! I found so many adorable outfits, dresses, jewelry, and shoes. I adore the brown boots I bought. The Puma hoodie is adorable! The staff was quite pleasant. The wait time to cash out was quite short! The store was spotless. Excellent value for money. Also, adorable children's clothing!

Gil Cromshaw: There is very little selection, they have two fitting rooms, tiny spaces at the very front of the store. When I went to try something on, the fitting room was piled w other people's stuff all over the floor. There is lots of wasted space at the front of the store. The whole place is just ghetto. I haven't seen a more poorly managed store of really any kind than this in a long time. It might only be this store. The one on Glenwood is definitely better but Ross overall is clearly in third place (in fact maybe fifth or sixth) compared to similar stores like Marshalls and Burlington.

Concerned Family: I just visited my local Walmart on Kildaire Farm Road in Cary NC. I had a small package that I had ordered online that I needed to pick up. Since I had additional shopping I wanted to do there, I decided to retrieve my package at customer service instead of checking in online and sitting in my car outside the garden center. I THOUGHT I would be helping the employees - not bothering them to walk outside to my car since I had further shopping to do there.Well…that was a BIG mistake!!! I went to the customer service area to retrieve my package as I knew it was a tiny parcel and should be located up front. “Customer service” hence the words “customer service” was no help! Let me be clear, they weren’t busy….best I can remember no one was behind me in line.Instead of providing some customer service, I was told “oh you have to drive to the pick up lane out at garden center OR you can try calling “this” number as they pointed to the wall and maybe someone from there can come up here and help you.” My thoughts….’Hey, you already standing here…no one in-line behind me…can’t you help me?’ So I said, “maybe I should just cancel this order because this is becoming more complicated than it needs to be.” Thinking…I’m standing here with my pickup info…no one inline behind me…can’t you just provide some customer service and do this job?So I then walk to the garden center instead of moving my car. A VERY NICE HELPFUL employee approaches me and says “looks like you might need some help?” His name was Tristian. Thank you so very much Tristian for 1)noticing I may need help and then 2)helping me.I tell Tristian I was in the store needing a few things and thought I’d just pick up my package. He looks up my information and walks with me right back to the customer service dept and retrieves my package. He even takes the time to explain to me that the garden center really only houses LARGE parcels and that tiny packages are housed up front in the customer service area!Thank you so very much Tristian. He walked from the garden center all the way to the front customer service counter. I couldn’t budge 2 employees that were standing behind the customer counter to walk 2 feet and help me.AND then…. wait for it……the MAJOR issue transpired as I was leaving the store. One of those customer service “ladies” had the nerve to say out loud in front of other customers now in line at the customer service area… “thought you were canceling that order?” as I was leaving the store. I backed my self up from the exit door and asked, “Do you REALLY want a cancelled order for this store? Do you think Wal-Mart REALLY wants me to cancel this order?” She continued on with “that’s what you said you were going to do.” I mean seriously, this employee is trying to start an argument in front of other customers???” Who hired this person? What qualities did she fake in her interview?That my friend is how that one “employee” treats customers! All this I’m sure can be replayed on the store camera so the store manager Stephen can see who he has working there! Thank you Tristian! Need 100 more employees like you….the other one obviously doesn’t care about customer service or the future of Walmart so she needs to go home.Please note, I purposely didn’t mention the rude associate by name.
