Hailey C.: My favorite thrift store in the area. Everything is very well organized, and when I’m in need of a specific item, I can usually find something here. I bring friends from out of town when they’re visiting, and they’re always impressed by the selection. The line outside moves quickly, so don’t be put off! I usually bring a drink with me for the line and am done by the time I’m at the front. Follow their social media for info on discounts/specials.
Russell Villard: Love the inventory. People are generally nice. The prices are a bit high, but since it's a good cause, it's hard to complain.
Kyrie Johnson: Pros:- nice atmosphere- lots of different sectionsCons:- NO FITTING ROOMS (a thrift store without a fitting room is honestly just a joke)- exactly one mirror in the entire store- extremely chaotic organisation of the women's tops and skirts

It's even nicer than the last time I was here.The good: it's probably one of the most organized thrift stores you will ever go in. Everything has a section.The bad: there is always a line and you need to come early to get the good stuff. It's also pricy. Most things of value are priced in line with a antique mall.
Ashley M: A huge place now! So many people. My anxiety was super high and couldn’t really enjoy looking at everything. The racks of clothing and shelves were way too tight. Couldn’t find a way to get to the front from the back.

Always a good day hangin' with my Mama thrifting at the one at the top of our list. Keep the good crew you have working there....got personality. Where Mama wanted to go for her birthday.
Elisha: Dorcas is one of my favorite thrift stores. Store is usually pretty organized and easy to navigate. They don't currently have fitting rooms, I went to look at formal dresses and didn't end up purchasing because there wasn't a way to try them on. Just FYI if you are planning on trying on clothes. This place is usually pretty busy as soon as they open and on weekends. I like to go various other times.

Michele Yambrick: The shoe selection was amazing! That is about where my good reviews end 😖There is a TON of stuff in this store, which is great for variety. I started to go through the clothing, but the amount of clothes packed onto the racks was overwhelmingly with very little organization. I spent a solid 30-45 minutes browsing shoes and then shirts and pants, had several in my hands, and then realized there weren’t any fitting rooms. HUGE negative for me. I did decide to buy what was in my hands, and ended up only being about $10. Got home and tried them on, and did not like any of it. 🤦🏼♀️ That was $10 wasted that I will be regifting.I’ll stick to my usual Thrift2Gift shopping—more organized, and they have fitting rooms 😅

Lindsey Christianson: This was my first time at this particular thrift store, and it's not bad, but the clothing in particular didn't seem as well organized as other stores I've been to in the area. I don't know why other reviews even today say there were nice fitting rooms because this location does not have dressing rooms available (and I did ask at the register). Prices are comparable to, say, Goodwill, and it didn't seem like they try to overprice specific brands, which was nice. Parking on a Saturday afternoon was rough. This one was out of the way for me, and it's probably not one I'll go to again unless I'm in the neighborhood for something else.

If you don't follow their Facebook, you should because they post most of the pictures of everything there.They had someone beautiful things today.

Andrea Martin: $900 for a PLEATHER loveseat and $7000 for a half real wardrobe- this place has lost its mind. I used to love coming here- they took the thrift out of thrifting. I used to come here all the time but their prices have them thinking that they are a retail store and not a non-profit. The same dresser on Amazon for $220 is FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS! I’m over these and will stick to the other great thrift options in the Triangle.

Catherine Crumpler: Interesting variety of items! I've gotten really lucky with great deals here, found a 1200 watt commercial grade microwave for $40, a stunning, straight from the mansions of the 90's chandelier that I LOVE, and found great affordable shelves to make cat shelves!Places like these are where you go to get cheap project, upcycling and repurposing supplies, just have to be creative!Staff is hit or miss, but mostly upbeat and friendly. Will be a regular stop every week or so to look for the hidden gems!

Risa Dee (Aria): I'd been on several ReStore locations in NC, VA, and MD. I understand the concept and the variability of prices. However, I was a little surprised on the prices of the used furnitures here. One was tagged at $249 for something that would be priced at $100 in others. Maybe it's the location, not sure. They still do have items you can get cheaper than retail. You just have to dig a little deeper.
Bill Albing: Great deals in a small store. Great accent furniture and pictures and rugs. Friendly staff. Round up when you pay for what you're buying something. Stuff moves pretty quickly so come back again.
24kvibez19: People say there’s not too much stuff but I literally found 2 high security deadbolts for only 3 dollars! To the actual one brand new goes for 200 just think about how good that is!
Joel Oliver: This place gets it all. Random bed frames, outdoor equipment, tools, lamps, furniture… this is a great place to find that one missing handle or cabinet for the shed. Staff have gotten more… assertive in their responses and reception. Go in with a smile and invite to learn the rules of discounts and thank them!

felicia: I have always had wonderful experiences at the restore! Across 3 of their triangle locations. I’ve also ordered new cabinets for two bathroom projects that went well and was a lifesaver in costs bc they were able to cut the cabinets for a non standard area in both projects. On the second project there was a mistake with one of the cabinets and Andrew Klutz was wonderful and helped me figure out a solution despite a mistake on my part in taking too long to open the box and see the issue. Would recommend their new cabinet services for anyone looking to get decent cabinets for a fair prices especially if you have a non standard area but don’t want to pay for custom cabinets!

Jim Lamm: I was visiting the store for an orientation, a requirement should anyone like to volunteer their sweat equity, or there surplus “stuff”… anyhow a very smart no nonsense little unit. I couldn’t help myself but to talk out of turn and act a little odd just to enjoy the precision and grace displayed; Andrew never missing a beat even adding a few steps. All the while the well oiled, finely tuned machine that is the ReStore in Cary, enjoys an atmosphere of productivity and efficiency, purring in the background as one might find in more orange or even blue themed retail space( that all get laid out completely different🙄great idea) He runs a tight ship. And helps A LOT OF PEOPLE, do it honey. Five stars all day! Whew!

John DeMeo: Decent selection, often hit or miss but that's every second hand store.
Christina Brown: The staffs there are pretty rude and unhappy. It seems like they’re doing you a favor to accept your donation.
Tetiana Volkodav: They are changing more for dresses then another goodwills. Dirty and empty store. Do not recommend. But staff is friendly and polite.
K Johnson: We have given this location several chances to redeem itself and each time, they fail. The female manager (possibly) is not friendly or appreciative of donations. We have been yelled at when trying to find a parking spot to unload items for the store. ANother occasion,we asked about a price for an unmarked dress. It was taken to the back of the store, "priced" and brought back to the register with an exorbitant sales price. This goes against many regional GCF policies. GCF have several regions in NC so they operate a little differently and have different missions. The location is in need of a paint job and a deep cleaning.

Sofie P: It used to be a cozy little thrift store with amazing cheap price and fast turnover. Since the last two years, the price has been increasing exponentially, and hence much slower turnover too - probably because the pricing scares people off. Seems like a staff started doing price comparison to eBay offers and make listing price close to that. How I know this? They taped similar eBay listing printout on the items and put their price on it 20-30% cheaper. What they might not realize is that eBay offer is not final sold price, and eBay seller have to recoup their original capital unlike a thrift store that get their item for free from donation. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
Emily Miller: For a charity shop where all proceeds go to the animals, it’s a cute little shop. I was surprised to see single pieces of glassware for $10-20 though. It’s a thrift store filled with donations at antique store/eBay/almost retail prices.

Nicomi Kloempken: Wonderful little charity shop...donations accepted, and the proceeds go to the cats, in the last year their prices have gotten way to high for a treasure finder. They have a toy in there for the last 3 months that's $100. Its book resell value is only $20.I laugh!! Some pricing person is going with the highest price online, even though there are 1000 of the toy on ebay at a low price of 20. I'm sure the volunteers on staff aren't that stupid to price the stuff so high.
Karen Wunderlin: Wonderful store; great variety of beautiful items including glassware, artwork, pictures, great clothes costing as little as $3.75! If you haven’t been there, give it a try. You’re missing a terrific thrift store!
Thomas Smitherman: . When it opened, we went in and I spotted an antique book and brought it to my wife who wanted me to ask about the price. I brought it to the counter and the woman started yelling at me about my mask. I was wearing a mask but the top of it had fallen halfway over my nose. I told her I didn’t appreciate that and she told me to leave.My wife is disabled and cannot walk around your store without help. The woman tried to pit my wife against me as if she was okay and I’m bad but my wife pointed out that the woman’s tone was not very polite. I personally would not even have been there if I had not been helping both my grandmother and my wife who actually had wanted to buy the $50 book I had picked up but obviously did not. This crazy woman ended up instead making my wife cry.In the course of this unpleasantness, this “lady” started yelling at two PhDs about “the science” and claimed to “own” the store … which would be interesting since it is a registered 501(c
Tracie Miner: Bring your donations elsewhere, somewhere they are grateful. We called before we drove there to ensure they are accepting donations. She assured us they are, but once we showed up, she started judging our items and very rudely telling us she didn't want our stuff. She didn't even try to help us with the boxes. We ended up leaving and taking the stuff we didn't bring in already to a different, more grateful organization.
