William Renfroe: Easily the worst meal we've ever had at any "Mexican" restaurant.We arrived at the end of the lunch rush. The restaurant was busy, so apparently it is popular. We appeared to be the only Anglos in the dining room. That and the many positive reviews raised out expectations.The pollo rostizado was the only really positive part of the meal. It was pretty good. The rice wasn't bad. The rest of the meal (chicken enchiladas, the black beans that came with the roast chicken and enchiladas, the iced tea) were awful. The "beans" were mostly pot liquor. The tea had a nasty aftertaste. The enchiladas were almost tasteless. The chips served with the meal were greasy and had almost no corn flavor.I don't know why our experience was so bad when there are so many good reviews. We obviously won't be going back.

C Hall: New favorite Mexican food restaurant. We visited for the first time a few weeks ago and we've already come back twice more. I've tried the chicken burrito (it's huge) and it was really really good, even the next day as leftovers. The second time we went I got chicken sope, loved it! This time, I tried the huaraches with chicken picadillo. The chicken is pretty darn good. Plenty of fresh lettuce and the good cheese. The chips and salsa are terrific, too! The chips crackle like they are multi layered. I have to try not to fill up on them because they are so great I'll forget about my meal! Oh, yeah, the cantaloupe agua fresca is amazing and tastes just like a juicy, delicious cantaloupe. I two thumbs up recommend this restaurant! The only tiny thing I don't love is that sometimes the music is too loud.

Food was very good, but the margarita tasted like passion fruit for some reason (bartender said it was there normal mix, okay that's fine, don't remember that before). Bill comes and our bill shows margaritas are more expensive than the menu. Ok sure, mistakes happen. I raise it to the waiter and he checks with the manager. The manager said prices are subject to change, and they couldn't do anything. They lost a customer over $1. It's not much, but the principal, your menus should be accurate and you should honor them. Nevin Williams: In my opinion the food is average. Not great and not bad. For me it is the ingredients used. For example they use ground beef instead of beef chuck for some of their beef entrees. Spices used in dishes are above average and their salsa is above average. Nehiel Ortiz Mercado: I had this place on my list for a while. Went with a friend and we were seated next to two women that I can only describe as “influencers”. During the entire meal these two were filming everything although I never saw then take a single bite of food the entire time. They just constantly took pics and videos using bright studio lights that shone directly in my face. Our young and under trained server never asked us if we wanted more drinks or anything else never refilled our water glasses, basically neglected our table for the most part and it seemed like we waited ages to even be able to ask for the bill all while having to endure the filming next to our table. I requested to speak to a manager to tell them that we didn’t have a great experience because of the filming and lack of service. The manager offered apologies and a 50 dollar voucher for the inconvenience. I had no intention of coming back but appreciated the gesture. We were about to leave when the Chef came of nowhere to ask us what the problem was. He first asked us what we did for a living and when he decided we were no one of relevance to him told us that there was nothing they could do about influencers cause that’s how things were nowadays. When I told him that as a paying customer I didn’t have to put up with filming especially if I had not consented to it, he again offered no apology and just said that’s how it is while smirking the entire time. When I asked him why he was even speaking to me since I hadn’t requested his presence and told him that the manager had handled the situation well without his intervention this narcissistic little man became furious and proceeded to snatch the voucher right out of the managers hand and tore it to pieces in front of me like a spoiled child. He humiliated his own staff and showed so much arrogance and condescension. Imagine if I had complained about the mediocre and overpriced food that took forever to come out of the kitchen would he have physically assaulted me? This egomaniac of a chef, if he can even be called that; does not respect customers or his own staff if I could give this place zero stars I would.

Andrew Meador: I was nervous when we went in on weekend brunch and I was told it was only the brunch menu until 4pm. I don't really like eggs or other breakfast foods. What I found was a true brunch offering of both breakfast and lunch foods...and it was all utterly incredible. My chicken al pastor gringas were flawlessly executed. The guacamole with crickets (yep, the insects) was surprisingly tasty, and paired well with the tacos. The Brussels sprouts are my new gold standard anywhere, as they were definitely cooked to remove the bitterness, but preserve the flavor. All in all an excellent place to eat.

Tashanda Smith-green: Listen, I was absolutely excited to take my family here. We arrived at 3:55 and our reservation was at 4:00. She gave me a brunch menu and I said “I thought dinner was at 4, that’s what our reservation is for”. She had a complete attitude and told us we had to wait until 4. Ok, we were seated and we ordered chips and salsa. My first mistake was thinking this was a Tex mex style restaurant and that it would be pick de gallo style salsa! Nope, it’s green salsa and some other salsa that tasted like baby food. I asked did they have regular red salsa and the server (Male Caucasian or Hispanic with black curly hair) rolled his eyes and said THIS IS SALSA. Whew, so I ordered dinner and asked could I get a side of rice and he said we don’t do that here, everything comes already fixed. Sooo are you saying it’s packaged and nothing is fresh??? He also mentioned the rice is made days prior, which was a complete taste bud killer! My meal had about 4 pieces of chicken with a pound of cheese, and my sisters fajita had pounds of peppers and barely any meat. She asked for NO SHRIMP and the waiter said ok. She receives her meal and THERE’S HUGE SHRIMP ON THE PLATE! She didn’t make a fuss but asked him why, and he again said, “It already comes like that so we can’t take out the shrimp”. At this point we were DONE! Our table stayed crowded with dishes until it was time to pay the check and let’s just say I will Not be returning anytime soon unless it’s just for a cute drink! I’m so disappointed!
