He is highly compassionate and cares about his patients, listens, and spends extra time making sure that every concern is addressed. His staff is also incredible. Cammy Knightlinger: I have been seeing Dr. Cook for 9 years now. I was almost bedridden at 30 yoa until he was brought into my life. I have some medical issues and he seen fit to help me. I gradually started getting better over time. I am currently now working full time as a Teachers Assistant as of July. Before that, I was just part time for the last 4 years subbing in the classroom. There has never been an issue with him. He listens to me and my concerns. He even asks me about my family life and how my husband and children are. He is an amazing Doctor who knows his stuff. I will be so lost without him when and if he retires. I also can't say enough about Ms Sandra and Ms. Tracy. They too, go above and beyond to help me in anything I need. They are always very courteous to me. If I needed something they all found a way to help. Even with samples that helped greatly as I didn't have insurance. One day a really storm came up and they knew I had an hours drive back home. They called to make sure I got home ok. I give Dr. Cook and his staff 5 stars. Well deserved. I wish he could be my neurologist forever. 💜

Kim Deane: I have seen Dr Cooke since 2008, He is very knowledgeable about what he talks about and if he not sure he will make sure that that he finds out he will do every thing in his power to help you. i will never see any other Dr do to the fact that he knows his stuff. Oh the front desk desk Sandra and Tracy are great to have the same staff is great it means he must be doing something great.

Michael Grady Sr.: Dr. Cook has been great. He will take all the time you need and will actually LISTEN. Did you hear that? He Listens. You are not rushed at all unless you are there too long then Sandra will pop in and remind him to finish up lol. But if it takes a hour to tell him what is going on with you then that is what he will do. I saw another review saying they didn’t return phone calls. I have NEVER left a message that the call was not returned by the next day if not the same day. So overall Dr. Cook is a rock star to myself and my family. He has improved my quality of life which in turn improves theirs as well. Thank You Dr. Cook and Staff for everything you do for me.

Marci Gibson: Have been a patient of Dr. Cook for years and he is the best doctor I have ever seen. He genuinely cares about his patients and what they are going through. He never rushes you in and out. His staff is awsome also! There is absolutely nothing bad I could say about them.

Joyce C: Wasn't impressed. Dr. Cook should work on her bedside manner. When she introduced herself she avoided shaking my hand. My appointment was at 1:30 and I wasn't seen until 3. This place is grossly outdated. At the end of my appointment, I was told I had to pay $130. Shouldn't that be something you tell a person upfront? Also, I needed a doctor's note for work and the receptionist stated that that would have to come from Dr. Cook and offered to make a copy of a statement that had personal information on it to give to my employer instead. Don't go here!

Peyton: I scheduled an appointment for a few months out ( first available which is not a problem) but then when I asked the receptionist Erin further questions she became very rude and refused to answer them. I asked to speak to the supervisor 4 times and she refused and eventually hung up on me. I am still shocked how unprofessional this office is. This was my first and only contact with this office and I immediately canceled my appointment. I can only imagine how the rest of the office is if they allow their receptionist to act this way with a new patient.

Months later after going nowhere with my former doctor, I visited with the most thorough and thoughtful physician, Dr. Yvette Cook. I look forward to working together with her going forward.

Lee Irvin: I haven't had a doctor take the time to sit down and talk to me like this in years. No blood pressure machine, she used a real Sphygmomanometer. Did I mention she? There's no nurse to take vitals, she does it all herself, so she knows the whole picture when you visit her.More doctors would benefit greatly by being more like her.

They say press 1 for dr Bertram, which transfers to Gabriella who never picks up the phone or she isn’t in or doesn’t pick up the phone and her voicemail prompt says to contact Lacrisha then you call her and she says she can’t help you. Then she wonders why I don’t want anymore run around. She laughed while I was telling her how frustrated I was. Completely unprofessional. Yet another doctors office with a lack of respect for their patients. All this just to set up an appointment.

However I started going to a pain management clinic 3 years ago when it started up again. After an incident that cause me to go the the ER I was referred to Dr. Engler. He was extremely nice and informative. He took the time to explain everything to me. Extremely satisfied with the care I received will update after everything is said and done.

Joann: My primary care doctor referred me to Dr Engler for a second opinion. First, I would like to say I would highly recommend seeing Dr Engler. He was patient, very thorough, and really took the time listening to me when I explained the pain I been experiencing. I was so relieved when he immediately pinpointed the cause of my pain. Dr Engler not only told me my options, but he explained them in-dept to me, and answered all my questions. I was truly satisfied with my visit. I Couldn't have asked for a better doctor.

Jessica Bostic: Dr. Lacin was very rude, short and disrespectful at my appointment. Told me to go home forget I have this thing in my brain, I was born with it and I didn't need to ever have another MRI. Which is great that it's not an issue but why be so rude? I drove 4 hours to see him after my GP referred me to him and he spent maybe a whole 2 minutes in the room! Really? I've known about this issue since 1996, it's 2018 & it's been checked about every 10 years, so I know this is something you see every day but let me just say it's not your brain!! Very disappointed in the treatment I received!!!!

shannon johnson: Don’t waste your time! I seen Dr. Lacin after I’d seen PA. Still no help!!! My neurosurgeon has retired and I’ve had a hard time finding a good Dr.... but I heard really great things about Dr. Lacin and was even recommended by a acquaintance that works closely with him in the OR. Well I hate to say this but I felt like he didn’t have time or didn’t care about what I’m going through. Which doesn’t surprise me! Seems like no Dr. wants to help someone who’s had surgery from another Dr. I felt like I was rushed and he was not even aware of my medical history from previous surgery Etc. He recommended me seeing a pain specialist, well I’ve been doing that forever so I do t think he even read into my medical history. So he probably didn’t even look at my MRI either. But I was very disappointed.

LaShanta Moore: Our first visit went okay with Dr. Buttram's PA and nurse. However, the next visit not so. Dr. Buttram wasn't helpful and after seeing him there really wasn't a point in seeing him. He did absolutely nothing to help my fiance' with his back pain. Tim Rahl summed it up well. We felt the same way about Dr. Buttram.

Anya Curry: Dr Lacin performed my neck fusion surgery. The appointments up to the surgery, as well as the communication of the staff were beyond excellent. They made me feel comfortable, well informed, and confident in their recommendation before the surgery. Cynthia was an all-star! Despite the winter weather, she worked to get everything on schedule for me. She even took extra time to answer my nonsense questions which I’m sure could have been handled by anyone else. My procedure was very successful in my opinion, and even though it’s only been 2 days, I have such pain relief! Thank you Dr Lacin!

Tim Rahl: i was referred to Dr. Lacin from my primary care doctor stating he was one of the best. After I had an appointment with him I beg to differ. I brought my MRI Report and cd to my appointment and I really feel that he did not even look at them. His PA came in and asked a bunch of questions and when he came in he was in the room for about 3 minutes. He response was "I am a surgeon and you don't need surgery. You just have arthritis in your back. I will refer you to someone else." Now I have a family of 7 and had to take 4 hours off from work and drive 85 miles to see this doctor for this. My MRI report CLEARLY shows more then just arthritis. A $75 copy and a tank of gas for him to tell me this. I wouldn't waste any of your time going to see him. Doctors are suppose to have a code of ethics and I do not feel he follows them. I cant speak for all the doctors there just this one

Sharon Greene: Superb care from Dr Lacin and staff. Dr Lacin repaired my cervical disc, and with each visit I felt as if my care was most important to him and he Treated me like I was his only patient. Great bedside manner and Excellent surgeon. Highly recommended!!!

Brooke Weisner: Dr. Buttram was amazing, he helped me recover from a severely herniated disc, which ultimately had to have surgery on. his staff is super sweet and friendly, I would recommend him to anyone who is having back pain.
