Nelly Roscot: One of the receptionists has a hard time dealing with small inconveniences. I come to the window and told her I'm here to pick up my medical report (I called the day before and requested they have it ready first thing in the morning) and her reaction was to irritable point to a table full of papers and ask me "if I see it? ". That's a very odd response/request given that I'm 7-8 feet away at the other side of the window and not familiar with that office workflow. Anyway. That receptionist was ultimately helpful nonetheless and everyone else was very sweet and helpful. 😊

paige barnes: Dr. Blount works with me on my health, he explains things clearly with common sense rational, and he never fails to show me respect and care. The staff is always supportive, friendly, and helpful. This office has consistently shown that patient care is their #1 priority.
Paula Vesey: Long wait time for anyone to answer the phone. Recently requested an appointment for acute allergy/chest inflammation. Even though I informed the scheduler that I had two recent negative COVID tests she informed me that I could not be seen in person due to COVID like symptoms. What??? I was forced to have a generic telehealth visit although I knew an in person visit was most appropriate due to concerns with lung inflammation. Had to insist on an in person visit a week later which revealed significant lung inflammation per X-ray. Staff turnover and poor communication.

Keyona Johnson: I was seeing Dr. Lee before he moved to Florida and he was amazing. So professional, friendly; even my husband saw him. We fell in love with the practice so we decided to stay after he left. Over the weekend I began having serve headaches with dizziness. I scheduled a virtual appointment with Dr. Rue at 4:20pm yesterday. I clocked out of work at 4:15 to get ready for my appointment. After waiting for 15 minutes, I got a call from the front desk saying he is running behind with his last patient and will be with me shortly. I understood as I work at an OBGYN office myself. I logged back onto my zoom meeting and waited until 4:55. I called the office again and got the message that the office was closed. I know things happened and I never complain; but I felt neglected, disrespected and unheard. I haven’t gotten a phone call from the provider or his team to apologized or even try to reschedule my appointment. Your job as a healthcare provider is to make sure every patient get the best care and I didn’t get that. Needless to say my husband and I will be getting a new PCP
Jessica Roberts: Absolutely horrible! My teenage son needed to be seen for some ongoing headaches and digestive issues. I spent 20 minutes answering 180 million questions about Covid symptoms and all things related to Covid. I wasn't calling about Covid or respiratory illnesses...I wanted him to be seen for an ongoing and unrelated issue. I was told the information had to be given to a doctor to "review and see if he was going to be allowed to come into the office to be treated." WHAT?!! And, it's been 48 hours and have not had a return call. ABSOLUTELY ABSURD!! Needless to say, we have found another practice for our teenager.
Daryll Hinton: I have been coming here for a number of years now and I am not a “ run to the doctor “ type of person …but I genuinely LOVE ❤️ these folks . From the ladies at the desk who are all professional and amazing to the nurses and I especially want to send a shout out to Dr. Stromberg and her team of PA’s …they are the best , I’m kinda like an old beat up truck and they are master mechanics who keep me on the road . If you are in need of a team to feel trust and a community with for your medical needs there is no finer one in my opinion than the entire staff at this facility….absolutely the BEST ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Nick Lucchesi: I don't recommend going here if you want a doctor that gives any useful feedback. I've gone here 4 years, 3 physicals with 2 different doctors. They always tell you they'll call you to go over the lab results. Never once got a call. They don't even upload comments about the lab results until you contact them to ask about it. You can try asking the doctor for some help with things, but they dismiss it. I strongly advise you look elsewhere.
Kathleen Kramer: Rarely do you find a practice that makes you feel as important and cared for as this one. I’ve been seeing Dr. Stromberg for the past few years and she is a true gem. She makes me feel like I’m her #1 priority even though I know I’m one of many patients she sees. The whole team is amazing to work with — so kind, personable and human! The front office staff has always been courteous and professional and taken the time to actually talk to us as people, not just number on a file. We have neither one had any complications with our appointments (usually in the back within 10 minutes of appt time), prescription refills, my chart, or provider! G Mailer: I have been to this place before Duke acquired it..very good experience.This year, I had a shoulder pain and went in expecting to be diagnosed and fixed. However it turned out very bothersome disappointing experience.Dr Bloom saw me and diagnosed with scapular dyskinesis. And he referred to physiotherapist ...that was so absurd. In my previous visits all i s taken care in the single visit. Duke sucks your money by splitting the services , which is a volume based service rather than value based. So disappointing...Now I owe them 200 bucks for nothing. On top the diagnosis is wrong, I have rotatory cuff injury, which was diagnosed by same place before Duke acquired it..how I knew, just performed the same exercises that they taught, and the pain is gone. bummer..For this why do I need a Dr and care like this. Shame on them even charging for misdiagnosis . Please avoid this care at any cost. There are better centers and Drs , I will avoid Duke care by all means

Ben Fulmer: Courtney Queen is the PCP for my family and me. She is the most thorough provider I see. Courtney studies conditions and treatments, then shares her recommendations. Courtney and I take a team approach to my healthcare. She takes time to assess how well I am doing with my regimen. Courtney makes necessary adjustments to my meds based on lab results and my response to treatment. Together, we make sound decisions. Even though I am now 50 minutes from Cary Healthcare Associates, I am staying with the practice to continue seeing Courtney Queen.

Sara: I would not recommend this place at all. Provider rushes all appointments, didn’t confirm what bloodwork I wanted done and didn’t order any of the things I requested. I was also told I would be getting referrals but she rushes the appointments so fast you never get any of the information. I made an appointment to go over bloodwork (because front desk never invited me to the “portal” and over 3 appointments I was never informed of it) then when I went to go over my results I was told none of the tests were ordered. Had to have my blood drawn AGAIN and make a whole new appointment. My provider walked me to the front desk explaining that I needed a new appointment because of this “MISTAKE” and I was still charged $250 for literally nothing but a waste of my time. Maybe if the providers took the time to communicate clearly and concisely these mistakes wouldn’t happen. can’t believe they wouldn’t wave the fee seeing as this was entirely their fault, not mine. No apology or anything. Also took over a month to get a referral to an OBGYN and had to call the office literally a dozen times playing phone tag trying to get a referral somewhere. This place is a massive headache and they don’t take responsibility for their lack of organization and never call back in a timely manner. Worst experience I’ve ever had for a primary care provider. Currently I’ve left numerous messages trying to find a way to pay my remaining balance over the phone and no one has called me back or emailed me after over a week.

I have never been disappointed once in these many years!I would like to give a shout-out to the best Phlebotomist, Noel, who works at Cary Health. He makes taking vials of blood easy and painless. It really takes talent to spot a vein and be successful the very first time.The friendliness of the reception desk, especially Meredith and Tammy go unchallenged!Finally, I must mention, also, the truly excellent process this family practice has established in dealing with Covid vaccines so that their patients would not have to expose themselves to others or wait inside for lengthy periods of time to receive their vaccines.Their drive through clinic in the back, as well as the front parking lot, set up by another great staff member, Katie, made getting vaccinated easy, privately in your car, conveniently, preventing any unnecessary exposure to illness of others!In my humble opinion, this is the family practice, par excellence, in the Cary-Raleigh area. I have no doubt when I highly recommend family, friends, or neighbors to entrust this practice with their own healthcare! My husband is also a long-standing patient of the practice and agrees with my review!GigiGrand
Aimee Diem: Cary Healthcare Associates has been my PCP since I moved here about 6 years ago. I have always had an amazing experience with them. They are extremely helpful and responsive. They take time to listen to their patients and are invested in their patients’ healthcare needs. Recently I needed parts of my file faxed to a specialist. Every time I called, the nurses were friendly, helpful and speedy! They made the process super easy. I am extremely grateful!

Maria Arndt: About a year 1/2 ago, I presented with a PA a gynecoligal problem. she dud an exam and an abnormal pap and assured ne we could wait months. I felt it was not right and sought a second opinion. She ordered tests and I had stage 2B ovarian cancer. Had I waited 6 months, it could have been stage 3 or even 4. Sorry, but you people almost cost me my life.

total boss: STAY AWAY!!! BEWARE!! ..This practice does not care for you and only wants your money. If you run out of your meds and call in for a refill when needed?? FORGET IT.. It can take days .. If the dr you see is not there but a few days per week? You must wait until that dr returns. I had a relative suffer for a weekend and then called in on A Monday and the office still refused to help .. I myself left this office because it has GONE way down hill and they don’t remember what you spoke about at the last appointment. I have also been sent a letter stating they refuse to see me because I spoke out. 😡.. Find another and do yourself a favor.

Ro Pass: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Schmidt since 2008. I felt a bond from the second she walked into the room eleven years ago. Dr. Schmidt is extremely professional, knowledgeable and caring. She listens to your issue(s) and exhibits genuine compassion and concern. I find her to be warm, gentle and personable and feel so blessed to have her as my primary care physician. The staff at CHA is wonderful. I have seen Renee, a physician’s assistant, in Dr. Schmidt’s absence, who is great, too. While being sick is never fun, I know that I am being well taken care of by Dr. Schmidt and the staff at Cary Healthcare.
Bryan Carter: Was not please with seeing Dr. Schmidt. Everyone else there are great. I was squeeze into an appt. To see Dr. Schmidt for pain in mouth and throat having several ulcers which I told her I had spots in mouth but she said she didn't see anything. So next day I went to see dentist because pain got worse and the dentist found that I have 7 ulcers and beginning stages of thrush. Dentist was surprise Dr. Schmidt didn't see this in my condition. Dr. Schmidt put on a fake smile and you can definitely tell she didn't care about you. I will never see her again what a waste. I was also told by another patient Dr. Schmidt left to start her own practice in the past but didn't make it and had to come back to Cary Healthcare. Trust me, you don't want to waste your time and money with her.
Mary: My Husband and I are going to CHA for last five years, over the years I really did not care for fake smiles of the office stuff, until this Billing issue came up in 03/2019. CHA billing service Euclid Billing Rita was extremely extremely extremely rude and she hung up the phone on me. CHA's office manager Tammy was not much help either, she basically spoke on Rita's behave and instead of, solving the situation Tammy sent an office visit bill from Jan, 2018 both for me and for my husband...Office Managers suppose to handle situation wisely, but sadly Tammy did not handled it wisely, instead she caused more frustration for me, I've spent over an hour with my insurance regarding the unnecessary billing issue Tammy created and for that reason my husband and I will be leaving the office for good...I totally regret even talking to Tammy, and going to see Dr Jennifer schmidt...I hope Dr Hamad knows what's really happening in his practice.Beware of extremely rude Rita (Euclid Billing service) and for whole office for that matter.I would not even give ONE star to CHA. but can't post a review without giving one star :(

william price: Dr. Hamad at Cary Healthcare Associates has been our primary care physician for the past 13 years. My wife and have been impressed with his medical knowledge and professional manner and personality. We have occasionally seen some of the other providers in this office and they also have been very professional and knowledgeable. His entire staff is always very friendly and helpful and his CNA's do a great job going over our records before we see our provider. From the front desk to the checkout, their staff is fantastic. Everyone seems happy working in this office which shows. Sometimes Dr. Hamad has a medical student from Duke with him which shows what a great provider and teacher he is. My wife and I highly recommend this practice if you are looking for a physician or provider that is knowledgeable and cares for their patients. They also have a lab in their office which is very convenient. We give them 5 stars!

Reeze The Vampire: Lara was excellent. I've had some health concerns and hadn't been to a doctor in almost 10 years! She answered all my questions and concerns, gave me an action plan, and got it all taken care of super quickly. The staff was very kind and friendly. I also got bloodwork done; my veins have always been hard to work with, so I was ready for some digging, but the phlebotomist got it done no problem. Outstanding physician's office.

Blake McKay: I will not be coming back to this establishment. In my opinion, the employees here lack trauma informed care or even seem remotely invested in their patients. During my visit, the doctor was talking over me nor did I feel heard the entire time that I was attempting to elaborate what was wrong. I felt as though I was being rushed. Everyone in the office seems somewhat oblivious when interacting with patients. They automatically scheduled me for a physical without asking me what time worked best or considering what I wanted as a patient. I also didn't receive a call about my check up until 3 weeks after the fact, which ultimately made my issue worse. Coming from Oregon, this experience was extremely disappointing--I would not recommend coming here.
Brendan Futrell: The Nurse practitioner, Lara, refuses to write a simple clearance form for a specialist regarding a medical condition that is typically monitored by your primary care physician. I had been to all scheduled appointments for this and was not experiencing any issues so I was not expecting any issues, however when called she stated she would not write a letter clearing me for the medicine a specialist deems I need, not based on medical concerns, nor an evaluation, but stated that she did not and would not be held liable, so she simply won't do it. I had no problems with this office in the past and actually recommended it to others, so I don't understand the lack of cooperation, understanding, and attitude from todays interaction.
Jessica Zdeb: I’ve been seeing Dr. Nigam as my primary care physician for over 6 years now. She really takes the time to care about my health and is very supportive of mental health. Above and beyond. I’m grateful to have her as my primary physician.

All the staff is very pleasant and office is very clean. Her assistant makes you feel at ease and Dr Gunjan takes time to listen to your concerns and genuinely care about her patients. She gives sound, professional, educated, caring advice and will even turn around quickly and look up on her computer the best ( least expensive) good place for you to obtain a prescription refill. She is so personable and kind you feel like you’re sitting there with a friend you have known for a long time. She is a good doctor and a lovely person. I have not met a rude employee in her office yet.There are many perks to private practice. You feel like a person rather than a number.I am glad I found them.
