Thomas Perch Groth: Orderer get-well flowers for a familily member online in the afternoon and delivery was completed in the evening, even though I placed my order hours after the same-day delivery cut-off time.
Elizabeth Eichen: I’ve called this shop a few times for day-of pick up and was never once disappointed by the quality, price, or customer service. They worked us into the schedule without question and made sure we received the most beautiful and customized arrangement possible. I was even able to get last minute help on valentines day - unheard of! Each arrangement we’ve received from GCG has been more beautiful than the last. I’ve been recommending the shop to anyone and everyone lately, and will be back very soon!

With only one phone call for planning, Becky knocked it out of the park with her beautiful arrangements and reasonable prices. She and her husband were so friendly and accomodating. Many of our guests and employees commented on the flowers. The pictures attached here were taken on Friday. The flowers were delivered on Tuesday and yet they still look amazing!

Blaine Youngquist: I had an arrangement delivered to my girlfriend at work today. When I called, the owner was extremely polite and accommodating with my requests. On top of that, it was delivered in just a few hours.Yes, they may be a tad more expensive than other florists in the area, but you really do get what you pay for. Customer service and attention to detail is excellent, and they put together an incredible arrangement. 100% recommend GCG and I’ll be using them in the future for all arrangements.

Such a spectacular bouquet and every flower was perfect - there wasn’t a single brown spot or dying petal to be seen on any of the blooms! This is the best bouquet I’ve ever ordered! If only there was a GCG in Dallas where I live, I could tell my husband to only buy flowers from there for me! :)Edit: the flowers bloomed the next day all together and it’s so beautiful!!Editing my review a year later because google won’t permit me to write another one - I just ordered another bouquet for her birthday and it’s absolutely stunning. GCG also delivered a gorgeous hydrangea plant as a sympathy gift for my parents a week ago. Very, very happy with every purchase I’ve made with GCG!

The lady called me to tell me the basket already came with a balloon and she didnt want to double charge me. Then she was so sweet when my card came up declined (damn rebate prepaid cards) and also offered to pick up the flowers and to deliver them in case my mom was out of town (shes retired and I cant keep up with her.) Flowers were beautiful, my mom was in town and sent a picture. I definitely recommend this place, you will be happy.

Emily K: This store has everything from cute unique pots to fun plants to beautiful decor. You can get cacti, succulents, Hoyas, air plants, and lots of leafy friends here. They’re also very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend a visit!

Freda McKenzie: Stopped by here Sunday on our way back from the eastern part of the state. Used to live in Cary. Cary has just grown into the cutest little place. We went into City Garden Design and the young lady there working, Christine, was just so sweet. She also does the design work that you see in the store and it's amazing. If we lived closer I would be in there much more. So I got a plant, a stone and some hand cream and kept on my journey. But if you're around go in.

J D: This store is only open 5 hours a day, Tues - Sat. I work standard hours so the only time I could go is on a Saturday. Made a plan and stopped in today, ready to buy several plants. The clerk was hyper vigilant any time I touched anything with a "can I help you?" None of the plants were marked either by name, growing conditions, or price. There was one clerk and several customers. She was running around the store unable to really be helpful to anyone. This was a VERY different experience than when we were in previously. We left without buying anything. Would give 1 star for today's experience but 5 for the prior visit. The store could benefit by making the information on plants available to the customer without the interaction of the clerk. Furthermore, there were several displays with a "do not touch" sign on them. We didn't touch these but it may have explained the clerk's odd behavior. Top tip: don't put out things in an easy to reach place if you don't want them to be touched; better still, don't display them at all.

Jackie H: Today was my first visit. It WILL not be my last. Sometimes bigger is not always better. This is a small quaint store on the corner, but it is packed with beautiful plants, air plants, pots, candles, etc. You will not leave without buying something.

She was really knowledgeable and was able to tell us about the local potter who made the pots we selected. Reasonable prices too - we will definitely come back.

It is apparent by the health of the plants how much care they receive and the quality you're getting for an extremely reasonable price. The owner is always friendly and knowledgeable. While I imagine warmer weather might bring a slightly larger selection, I had no problem being guided to a couple truly beautiful orchids. The owner was friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure with whom to conversate. I feel like my fifteen minutes there are going to make a lifetime’s worth of improvement in my orchid growing skills. What a cool, quaint spot. I’ll definitely be back.

Alex Hightower: I had a bad experience even getting in contact with them. When I tried to explain that I wanted some advice about an orchid a friend had purchased for me from Raleigh Orchids, the woman answering the phone snapped, "I will have to call you back" and hung up. Of course, she didn't call back. I just got a greenhouse and the second part of my request was going to be that I wanted to come look at their orchids to buy another one, but I didn't get that far.
