Dr. Milan M. DiGiulio: what do users think?
Tim Ogren: I recently underwent rotator cuff, labrum, and bicep tendon surgery in early February performed by Dr. DiGiulio. From start to finish, the entire surgical process was smooth, and his support staff was great to work with. However, what truly sets Dr. DiGiulio apart is the unparalleled level of personalized care and attention I received throughout my entire journey. From the first consultation, Dr. DiGiulio took the time to thoroughly explain the surgical procedure, addressing all my concerns and patiently answering my questions. He and his team's ability to establish a personal connection was excellent and supportive through a very difficult process (not on their part).During my recovery, Heather, the physical therapist, played a huge part in my rehabilitation journey. At times she was as much therapist as PT, because the early phase pre-strength is mentally difficult. Her support, responsiveness, and availability were excellent and encouraged if needed. Heather's genuine dedication to my well-being was evident in every session, as she tailored my therapy to my specific needs, pushing me to achieve optimal recovery progress. The overall experience with Dr. DiGiulio, the supportive staff, and Heather, the PT, was nothing short of exceptional. It was clear that working with an independent doctor allowed for a deeper level of personal connection and individualized care. I highly recommend Dr. DiGiulio, Heather, and the whole practice. If you are in search of an orthopedic surgeon who not only possesses remarkable surgical skills but also establishes a genuine connection with their patients, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. [Surgeon's Name]. Their personalized care, along with the support of the attentive staff, creates an environment where you feel valued and well-cared for throughout the entire process. My experience with Dr. [Surgeon's Name] was transformative, and I am immensely grateful for their exceptional care.Tim
Ravi Srivastava: Dr. DiGiulio has treated me and my family over numerous years. He is very knowledgeable in his area of expertise, and I have found him honest and cooperative. He takes the time to thoroughly explain the cause for discomfort and the options for treatment. This helps one decide on personalized treatment. And his advice and treatment over the years has really helped my family.Recently, Dr. DiGiulio performed surgery on my right knee. He did a great job and I am pleased to note that in about 6 months my knee is as good as new. And during these months, the knee was subjected to several round of overseas travel! I should also note that Heather in DiGiulio’s office was very helpful in designing a course of physical therapy, which helped my knee heal and gain strength and flexibility. I suspect that without her assistance my knee would not be where it is today. Finally, the staff in Dr. Giulio’s office is very professional and pleasant. Whenever we have called his office, a staff member answered the phone and efficiently helped address our questions or requests. We really appreciate that the staff is so accessible, a mode of operation not so common these days. All in all, Dr. Giulio and his support staff including Heather, the physical therapist comprise a very capable team. We cannot recommend Peak Orthopaedics more!
Katrina Shea: I absolutely love the staff at Dr DiJulios office!!! Amanda Lee is wonderful!I highly recommend this place!!!
Adnan Halikotic: Had my ACL replaced and my experience with Dr. DiGiulio, his staff and Dr. Heather Smith (DPT) has been tiptop so far. During my initial visit with Dr. DiGiulio, I was given a pretty good idea of what was going to happen and he walked me through the entire. process….straight to the point, Dr D is very capable and professional. My PT experience has been very positive as well , Dr Smith is very flexible with my work schedule and is experienced. It’s a bummer that I got injured 🤕 but at least this team makes it easier with my recovery. Thanks y’all!
Allison Wade: Very happy with the care and attention provided to my daughter after a foot injury. Dr DiGiulio is really a top notch orthopedic provider and our family has been well cared for by him and his practice over the years.
MIchael Kang: The best doctor in North Carolina.
Ronald Brown: Absolutely the best there is. I’ve seen the Doc for recent shoulder and past knee surgery. I would never go anywhere else highly recommend him.. He is a great Doc easily approachable and listens to everything.. His PT staff is in office so, SUPER convenient and top notch. His PT staff rehabilitated my shoulder & knee surgery with Excellent results..The office staff was amazing at handling all my insurance and disability claims and paperwork very FAST and professional..I am so thankful for the Doc and all his staff.
Mark DeVine: I was in a head on collision on I-95 in 2014. Needless to say, that car accident left me with many broken body parts which tend to require periodic attention. Dr. DiGiulio has been a key part of my recovery and continuing rehabilitation. His attention to detail is second to none and the five times he’s had to operate both orthopedically and full-on surgery have been nothing but perfect. The thing I like best about him though, is surgery is never his first choice. He prefers physical therapy whenever possible and he works hand-in-hand, either with his physical therapist or yours, if you have your own. He is readily available. When my knee gave out so badly, I couldn’t even bend it, he was able to see me that morning for an evaluation and an x-ray set in his office. He is also a straight shooter, who doesn’t set any false expectations about what he can fix and what you’re going to have to live with. He let me know right away that this one is not a candidate for physical therapy. Thoroughly explaining why, it was going to be surgery this time. While I was in the hospital recovering from the accident, I had numerous surgeries and dealt with a number of surgeons and they all did a fine job. But I can honestly tell you Dr. DiGiulio is always my first choice now when the time comes for surgery. He has always come through for me, no matter what difficult challenges I’ve presented him with!
Sesh Venkat: I had an amazing experience with Dr. DiGiulio. I tore my Achilles tendon playing badminton and went to Dr. DiGiulio to get a second opinion. He was extremely personable and spent nearly 30 minutes going through all the options. He recommended surgery to repair the tendon which I believed was the best option for me. I was so impressed in the process I decided to go with him as my surgeon. He did my surgery in September 2022. The post-op appointments were fantastic. He explained me what the recovery process would be and had frequent checkpoints. I had my last post-op appointment yesterday and I’m completely recovered. I’m back to my regular activities and will start to play sports again! I would highly recommend Dr. DiGiulio.
Marc Sebes: Dr. DiGiulio explained my situation (shoulder labrum tear + ganglion cyst on the nerve) very clearly. After an MRI on my shoulder, Before finalizing the surgery, he took extra care to ensure that nothing else (i.e. my neck weakness), was involved in the problem. The surgery went very well, he explained everything to the level of detail I needed at each step of the way, and was patient with my questions. Six months later, I feel great about my shoulder and my choice in Dr. D. I would highly recommend him.
K Mills: Dr DiGiulio and his staff are outstanding! As an independent practice they care, and it shows. Last year, I experienced persistent knee pain which Dr D treated through arthroscopic surgery. I’m pain free with no scarring. Dr D took the time to answer my questions, reviewed the procedure, discussed the outcome I should expect, and followed up post-surgery. Having physical therapy at his practice was a huge plus. I fully trust Dr D and would highly recommend his practice to anyone.
Arun Suresh: I consulted Dr Digiulio for torn Labrum in both my left and right shoulders. He was very knowledgeable, honest and answered every question I had. He clearly conveyed the benefits and expected outcomes ( and risks) of the surgery.  Physiotherapist, Dr Heather was also very helpful and thoroughly answered all my questions and responded to all my concerns. Would definitely recommend this team to anyone struggling with sports injuries.
Adam Cutts: Dr. DiGiulio has been amazing. I have a leg disability where I wear an external prosthetic and broke it recently, and he was incredibly helpful! His physical therapist, Heather, is also amazing and adapted the PT exercises to my situation. Finally, his office staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and nice. I highly recommend him and his practice.
Kerry Reese: I had my shoulder surgery in September of 2022, prior to the surgery I could not shoot a basketball nor coach effectively. It is December of 2022, not only am I able to shoot the basketball effectively I am now swimming, golf and enjoying many of the activities I once struggled to do. Dr. Digiiulio and team did an outstanding job. I highly recommend Dr. D to anyone requiring a shoulder surgery.
Leslie Dott: Dr. DiGiulio was very professional, kind, and thorough. He did a great job explaining what my teenage daughter needed to do to get herself back on the road to recovery.
Chris Walker: Dr. DiGiulio performed a rotator cuff, labrum repair, and a bicep tendon procedure on my shoulder last December. My experience from start to finish with Dr. DiGuilio and his staff was top-notch. The diagnosis was spot on, and the procedure itself went very smoothly. Everything was explained and covered well, and no part of the experience felt rushed. Heather in PT was great and did a fantastic job getting my shoulder mobile again. I’m back to Crossfit and weight training and able to lift over head again with no pain and a much better range of motion. I would highly recommend Dr. DiGIulio and his staff.
Christa Boland: Friendly very helpful
Kevin L: Dr D and his team are super. I’ve had them treat elbow and shoulder injuries and this spring had orthoscopic surgery on my knee to relieve long term nagging pain. Heather Smith PT did a great job bringing me back to full strength and now have no lingering problems when playing golf. If you want personal approach see Dr D and Performance Orthopedics.
Clarence Jordan: Great Doctor and staff.
Michael McNeilly: Dr. DiGiulio and his staff are the best! In my experience, it's hard to find a great doctor AND and staff that treat you right. This place has both and I am thankful for all of them. I have had 2 surgeries with them and cannot speak highly enough of their care and expertise.
Mayank Ajmera: Dr. DiGiulio performed surgery on my 11 yr old to fix a torn meniscus. Our experience throughout the treatment was excellent. Dr. DiGiulio took time to explain the procedure that was going to be performed, lay out the expectations, and answer any questions we had.The surgery itself was very smooth and the follow up care was excellent. The Dr. himself called the next morning to ensure my son was doing OK and if we had any questions. The office staff was excellent through out as well. Appointments were easy to make, and not much waiting was required. Overall, our experience was excellent and I would definitely recommend Dr DiGiulio for any orthopedic problems.

Daniel J. Thibaudeau, MD: what do users think?
Odell Bowab: Very thorough and professional.
Mandy Hunter: Scheduling was a breeze. I was shocked at how fast I was able to get an appointment in a non emergency. I arrived 30 min early to fill out the new patient paperwork. Some of my info didn’t transfer right. No biggie. The front desk staff were super nice. Short wait time. Was called back and sent to a room. Extremely brief interaction with an older nurse who didn’t introduce herself or asked what brought me in. Just told me to get undressed for X-rays which I was not prepared for since I just had some taken in November and there had been no change in my pain level or condition.I tried to say I have both low back AND hip issues that need to be addressed which was why I came in. When I confirmed that I was already seeing someone for pain mgt, I could tell she was judging me with out even looking at my chart, asking my med history or even why I was on them. She was very short with me and VERY condescending. I even pulled up my previous X-rays to show her and was told it didn’t matter and she was clearly getting annoyed at me. I got the impression that if I wanted to see the doc I’d have to get the X-rays. Fine I guess. Just another $350+ I didn’t really anticipate spending. The X-ray technician was very nice and informative. Short wait after that to see the doc. Dr. was nice but actual appointment felt very rushed. Issues I presented were not taken into full consideration. Leg length discrepancy was brushed off. Got referred for more imaging. Nurse comes back in with info on the MRI and rushes me out. So far, not the best Dr or new patient experience I’ve ever had. Will proceed with MRI and do follow up but I’m not holding my breath for the interpersonal communications/ customer service to improve.
Howard Hoffman: Great!
The Real JKIL: Dr. Thibaudeau is a excellent doctor. He takes time to address your issues.

Amy McCoart: Dr Thibaudeau was kind, professional, and explained treatment options. He went over my x-ray. I'm hoping my treatment options help. The staff was pleasant as well.
Sarah Linn: Obviously knowledgeable and had reviewed my records before my appointment. I have full confidence in his advice.
Keith C.: Dr. Thibaudeau was great, but I waited 1 hour and 25 minutes to see him. Very disappointing. There needs to be an app that lets the patient know there are delays!
JoAnn Yates: Dr Daniel J. Thibaudeau was very professional, polite, patient and friendly.Dr. Thibaudeau explained all of my procedures very thoroughly.he walked me through the procedure that he was going to do for my surgery.

Dr. Sami Mardam-Bey: what do users think?
Leslie Whiteside: We found out a month ago that our one year old daughter has hip dysplasia and we were referred to Dr Mardam-Bey for surgery. We were devastated with her diagnosis, but he has made the process so much easier on all of us. Dr. Mardam-Bey performed surgery on her last week and placed her in a spica cast, and throughout the whole process he has been kind, patient and helpful. This has not been an easy diagnosis or recovery process, but we couldn’t ask for a better doctor throughout it all. I know that we’ll be seeing Dr. Mardam-Bey for many years to ensure our daughter is “hip healthy”, and I’m so glad we found such a good doctor to take care of our girl!
Krystine Hilton: We To Wakemed orthopedics in Apex yesterday. I just want to thank Dr. Bey and the staff for the skilled care and professionalism. We will be using Dr. Bey for our future orthopedic needs. I also want to commend them and the facility for their commitment to my family’s health and safety in regards to Covid-19 precautions! In a time of unease, you all helped put my fears at ease.
Katie Weeks: We were very happy with our visit with Dr. Mardam-Bey. Office and clinical staff were great and Dr. Mardam-Bey took plenty of time with us to discuss our concerns. Having been to other pediatric orthopedics I was grateful for the efficient care that was provided!
Crystal Dady: We began treatment with Dr. Mardam-Bey on my daughter's broken wrist after it had healed improperly in cast. He was patient, kind, and very attentive during the evaluation/surgery/post op process. We highly recommend this office to anyone with a pediatric ortho need!
Michelle Folts: We have been taking our newborn to Dr. Mardam-Bey since he was one week old and I have to say how impressed I am overall. Our son was born with bilateral clubbed feet and Dr. Mardam-Bey has taken the time each week to explain every step in fixing this issue. The staff is so friendly and efficient in every office that we have visited. All offices from Raleigh, north Raleigh, and Apex are extremely clean and organized. We highly recommend Dr. Mardam-Bey for all of your child’s orthopedic needs!!!
dana maxwell: Dr. Mardam-Bey was the orthopedic pediatric surgeon on call when my daughter fractured her femoral growth plate over a weekend. He performed her surgery and has taken excellent care for her during all of her follow ups post surgery. He is professional, highly intelligent and has always taken his time explaining things in detail to us so we could fully understand her situation. I would highly recommend him and Wake Ortho and Dr. Mardam-Bey!
Gwen Caldwell: I give Dr. Bey 5 stars. I wish I could give more. He is so thorough with my son and takes his time. Has never made us feel rushed, and answered all my questions. My son had surgery on his leg and Dr. Bey did everything he could to reassure me and even explained in detail every moment that my son was away from me. He came out after surgery and was the first to let me know that my son did amazing. At our post op visit Dr. Bey took his time with Bryson and made sure we understood everything. My son even said that he wished Dr. Bey would be his doctor all the time. When I took my son to his regular pediatrician they were in awe of what a great job Dr. Bey did on my sons leg. They said the incision and the stitch work was AMAZING and the best they have seen. I’m impressed and WILL NOT be taking my son anywhere else. We are of course in for the long haul because of my sons leg but I don’t mind. We drive over an hour to get to Dr. Bey’s office but again I don’t mind. If you find great care you stick with it. I would recommend Dr. Bey to any and everyone for their ortho care!
L Abraham: Every pediatric ortho location is over scheduled with waits of an hour minimally. We arrived 30 minutes before our appt and weren't seen until an hour after our appt. He aplogized per usual and then tried to pretend not to rush us. I asked about my son's leg during both visits and was told it wouod improve as he learned to walk though it would appear to be getting worse first. I was dissatisfied and saw another provider at unc to learn that it was in fact his leg as well.

Dr. Jeremy J. Miles, M.D.: what do users think?
Amanda Scanlan: Outstanding service from Sharon on the phone, the front desk, the nurse and also Dr Miles. They all showed compassion, patience, professionalism and great understanding with my autistic, non verbal 6yo who had fracture his wrist. I’m so grateful to all of them.
Donna Newton: Dr. Miles was great. However, medical care is only a portion of the experience at a doctor's office. I confirmed with my insurance that Dr. Miles was in network. I confirmed this with the office staff when I checked in. But, when I checked out, instead of paying the $50 that I should've been asked pay for the office visit, I was told that I had to pay $200 because their automated insurance verification came back saying that I had a deductible to meet - but that deductible is only for out of network providers, not in network. When I explained this to the office staff, they said that the automated check didn't make that distinction, so I had to pay the full amount. I asked them to call my insurance to clear the matter up and they said no. I was told, and I quote..."We don't have time to spend 3 hours waiting on the phone to verify your insurance." I was stunned.I paid the $200 in July. My EOB from my insurance shows that $50 is indeed all that I should have been charged AND that my insurance paid $150, too. So the office was paid $350 for a $200 visit, but still hasn't refunded my money. When I asked about a refund, I was told that I have to prove that my care has ended. Let me assure you that it has. I won't be back to an office that isn't willing to verify the accuracy of insurance coverage, grossly overcharges a patient and then won't make a timely refund once they have been paid by insurance.
Stephen Smith: I expected to be told that I needed surgery. I had suffered from arthritis and trigger finger in both hands for over a year. Dr. Miles suggested we try injections, and they did the trick. No more pain or limited motion. Excellent experience. He took time to listen to my concerns and exceeded my expectations.
Randall Leath _ Staff - AlstonRidgeMS: Didn't have to go home and google what the doctor was talking about. Shared information in a way that I could understand.
Tracey Brown: Excellent patient care.
Jeanne Royer: Explained everything. Made me feel well informed. Kind and courteous. Very knowledgeable and intelligent
Ed Moore: Dr. Miles is genuinely interested in my health and well being. He is open and honest about his diagnoses and he answers my questions clearly and straight-forward.
Alecia Williams: Very happy with Dr. Jeremy Miles and Cary Orthopedics . Office visits are efficient, Dr Miles is knowledgably and understanding. Highly recommend,
geoffrey hood: Dr Miles inspires confidence and answered all my questions thoroughly.
Mark Michaud: Outstanding, compassionate and empathetic care. I’ve seen 4 hand surgeons. He is a superb clinician and surgeon. The others I’ve seen can’t hold a candle to him in comparison! As a physician, I will be referring all my cases to him. I trust him implicitly.
Greg Johnson (Bugfellas): Dr. Miles is direct, open, compassionate and engaging. He showed me what was happening with my injury and let me know my options and outcomes in a relaxed, confident manner.
Aly C: Competent, confident and helpful.
Mike Gregory: Dr. Miles was wonderful as usual.
Winslow Stillman: Everyone I have dealt with at Cary Ortho has been first rate. That's over a 20 year span of treatment and care. Dr. Miles is no different. He is a caring, interested physician who listens. Great counsel and excellent plan of treatment.
Margaret Sollod: Had a great experience with Dr. Miles and his staff. He shares information in non-clinical terms, doesn't waste your time, creates a plan for resolution and checks back in every step of the way, to be sure you are happy with the results. Wish I had found him years ago.
Rebecca Knowles: Highly recommend this physician - respectful, knowledgeable, personable and made my surgical procedures and recovery a breeze. Friendly office staff as well.
Ashley Quinones: Dr. Miles was thorough in his examination of my left arm and hand. He explained his diagnosis to me in a way I could fully understand and comprehend. The best part of my appointment with him was that he was honest about the magnitude of surgical intervention and referred me to a hand surgeon he felt was better suited to treat me. Should I come across anyone in need of his services, I will definitely refer them to him.
Sonal Starr: Dr. Miles was very empathetic about my finger injury. He decided to help relieve some pain from my injured finger right in the office (no "reschedule" for a simple procedure). I truly appreciated that! He was gentle, informative, and very optimistic about the outcome. Thank you Dr. Miles! :D
Drew Peterson: Thorough, efficient, and professional. Listens and truly cares about his patients. Highly recommended.
Matt Mizak: Awesome practice! Cannot say enough good things about the entire staff all the way from check in to check out. This is the way all medical treatment facilities should be run. Dr. Miles is very personable and made the experience a breeze. Highly recommend these folks!
Christie Garner: Dr. Miles is a very attentive and caring physician. He was thorough in his exam. He explained my problem in understandable terms and even gave me suggestions to find cost effective treatment supplies!
