Dawn Goodman: The Charter School Bus and Transportation Co. is not a good employer to work for. No updated physical office address for the company is provided on the website for employees to go to with issues. This company in a rush to get driver's behind the wheel fails to conduct the lawfully required driver pre-employment screening such as; background record checks, drug testing, driver history checks, and verification that the driver has a commercial license with no current violations. The first bus that I was assigned was unsafe it had no working head lights, and no working stop arm. After I complained to the Supervisor about it with two employees of the Triangle Math and Science Academy as witnesses my school bus assignment was changed. No employee should have to argue with the employer or wait until the following Monday after payday to receive a handwritten pay check when their direct deposit method fails. Their direct deposit wage payment system needs to be checked for internet hacking, rather than blaming employees for the error. I quit in disgust with the late payment issued and since Oct, 29, 2021 the owner William J. McNeil still owes me a paycheck. A faulty direct deposit system is not an excuse for an employer to not pay an employee their wages. .

Greg Garner: Apparently the pick-up time can change, you don't have to be notified, and then when your ride shows up even earlier than the new pick-up time (the one you didn't know about), they will honk repeatedly and then, despite you saying you'll be out in a minute, will leave you after waiting 4 minutes. THEN, when you call dispatch, they'll respond with, "Oh. Sorry. Well, they only *had* to wait 3 minutes."
Shanell Holloway: Very unpleasant and unprofessional. Driver turns around in neighborhoods driveway or any where that is convenient.
Kris Miller: Great Management, helped us out alot.
Ivy Stinson: After using their services I will not look any further. Their drivers were super to our kids.

How the drivers talk to the parents is disgusting and the schools don't care either.

Stacey P: CMC is terrible. The driver has been a no show 3 times in one month. Today, I was called at 1pm saying that they were at my home to drop him off. I let them know I would be there in 5 minutes and was. They called me again at 1:08 to say they were bringing him back to the school. It’s now 2:03 - my son is not at the school AND CMC seems clueless as to his whereabouts. Also - I’ve seen the driver texting while driving every single day. This is an unreliable and unsafe service. Forget about customer service from CMC, they say that your call will be returned but it never is. They do nothing but make excuses for their poor service. Apparently the company doesn’t have a manager as I’ve asked to speak with one several times. Absolute garbage - zero stars!!!
Alex Heidinger: I do not wven use them as a service but one of their drivers pulls up outside my apartment building at 8am blowing the horn on his car! Not all people work day shift hours! This wakes me up every morning! Terrible business practice!
maria lucas: The CMC Transportation are the worst regarding picking up your kids on time they constantly change the time frames repetitively over a few months the never consistent and picking your kids up on time they are the most unprofessional transportation company I have ever had to deal with they are they do not value other people's time to be at work they give you a time frame that they supposed to stick by and they never stick by it they are always over 15 to 20 minutes late they change drivers consistently I just do not like this company it does not it it's it's it's not as professional when it's when it comes to picking up kids it's just it really isn't there time at that time frame sucks

C S: They don't deserve the one star. I was just nearly side swiped by one of their mini-vans. The driver was playing on the phone, kids were hanging hands out the window in the rain and the driver rolled right through a 3 WAY STOP SIGN! This is a block from the elementary school and has heavy walker traffic. I called the company and they told me it could not be one of their drivers and they could not find a driver that would fit the description claiming I must be making this up. If you care about your child's safety I would look for other options. This company is terrible and irresponsible. Based on other reviews I see this is quite common. Its a shame that Wake Count does not care who drives our children to school and based the decision on the cheapest option.
Amber Brennan: Horrible. No communication at all when running behind. Several mornings they’ve been 30-60 minutes late. When you call to ask if they are still coming (30 minutes after scheduled pickup) you get very unprofessional and rude staff treating you as though you are absolutely crazy for asking if they are still coming.

At Holly Grove Middle school - I had clear right-of-way but the van driver pulled right out in front of me and I had to slam on brakes to avoid. Then yesterday I had a van fly past me on the right on the two into one merge at Hope Community church coming into Holly Springs. Traffic was pretty heavy so no real gain but what a rude nut. Then he tailgated the cars in front of him all the way into town. As they turned off, in 45mph zone he was leaving me though I was doing 50. Then in the 35 zone heading toward the schools on Holly Springs road, again I'm at 40 and he's leaving me quickly had to be doing 50+ in a 35 zone. He turned into The Learning Experience. Jessica Chatman: This is only my 1st day using this company and I tell you I am very dissatisfied. The woman who answers the calls is very rude and unprofessional. She claims to be the "Office Manager" but can't seem to find nor have any I formation reguarding my child's route or driver. When asked to get a direct number for routing to contact she claims unable to give out that I formation. I had to contact the school in order for them to give me a direct cab number for who would be dropping off my child. I had no prior calls from anybody about who would even be getting my child from school. When I asked for the director or owner of the company she refused. She also refused to even give me her 1st name. The name she gave me was Santiago. That could be anybody. After reading the reviews I see we all have the same thing in common. Wake County needs to do much better with who they contract with. Out children have special needs and are being transported by a companies who are very u organized, and unprofessional. This saddens me and I will continue to contact wake county transportation in regards to this issue and pray something is done about it. These are our children and need to be treated with the up most respect and care.
Shannon G: My child was dropped off at the wrong location by a fill in driver because someone in the office gave her the instructions that solely said Boys and Girls Club without an address and she dropped him off at one of the clubs without confirming the address. What adult with common sense would do that? Well it was the wrong one and my child with special needs was at the wrong location for over 4 hours! It's seven clubs in Wake County. This is totally unacceptable and they attempted to deflect the blame on the Boys and Girls Club. Shameful the way they handled the situation and I had to reach out to the owner to talk about the situation almost 2 days later! They didn't even have the decency to reach out to me or my husband considering my child was lost for over 4 hours.
Tash Andrews: For 2 days in a row I have been late to work because of this company. There is no communication at all. I asked to speak with supervisor 2 times and no one has contacted me yet. This company is very unorganized and obviously their system isn't working. My daughter was late today because the driver had to go to one side of Cary all the way to the other side of Cary putting her in traffic. This is unacceptable for a parent to be late for work because a company is so careless. You a messing with people's income and livelihoods by being this careless. No type of communication skills whatsoever.. If i lose my job because of this company, the owner is not going to be too happy .

Yolanda Ghebre: Ohh I wish if I could give a zero star. My son use the circle service to take him to school. Very rude drivers, the car smell awful most of the drivers smoke in the car plus they always come late. We have been told so many times that the driver is going to be late for 2/3 hours. So frustrating. At first day of school they left my son with no body to pick him up. The school call us and my husband has to leave work early to pick him up. No body informed us about it. We have been driving him back from school for 4 months but still we didn’t get out money.

Drivers very unprofessional, AFMS route 12 driver very rude and impatient, not coming on the time window either comes too early or too late, she doesn’t even wait a minute or two when she arrives before her time window regardless the weather! Please consider the weather when you get here early!!
Ricardo Lopez: Have had to drive my special needs child to school for over half a year and have not been reimbursed. At this point I am not sure if it is incompetence or just plain fraud. Repeated submissions of all requested paperwork just leads to request for more and more paperwork while each new submission just piles up. I am at the point where I feel I should get a lawyer, report them to WRAL or both. And remember, all of this is because they cannot provide the service that they are supposed to provide in the first place. The only alternative they provide is to leave my child waiting for 2-3 hours after school which is no option at all.
Andrea Martin: This place has officially made me regret buying my house in Wake County. They will let my son sit at the bus stop for 105 minutes past stop time on multiple occasions. They don’t have drivers because their business process is terrible. Multiple times they get him to school and can’t get him home. What a joke. And their phones- they don’t answer them- so no worries on actually getting to complain or get an answer in person.

Shayla Wills: Transportation for my son was changed with no prior notice or consideration. I was just told today that it will go into effect on Monday. I call my son's school at RogersLaneES, they had no idea. They say that the change was due to my son's IEP. Well the request in my son's IEP was made when he started kindergarten, over 2 years ago. If they want to honor what's in his IEP then fine do it next year. You're going to make a major change like that at the end of the school year. Not a happy parent.

They do not call back, they assign bus stops that are extremely unsafe. Quite a few substitute bus drivers do not pay attention,speed, are unsafe.

K. M.: Terrible over the past few months. My child has missed the bus so many times due to unexpected pick up times. When you call they tell you a window of time. Well, let me say this, that window means be at the bus stop at least 40-45 minutes total if you want a ride. If you decide to drop your child off carpool, then be prepared to wait. It's a wonder people are still employed because I know I get to work late almost everyday. No need in calling the school either. Barwell loves to tell you they have no communication with Wake County transportation just to get you off of their line and they say it with such sarcasm.
