CnlHm L: This could be a fantastic hotel. Need to do some updating across the board. Location is secluded and beautiful. Staff is hit and miss. Some are friendly, welcoming, and enjoyable, and some are grouchy. You can care less you are there. I have staff members cutting me off in the morning and evening reception to get their food while on shift. That is great the company feeds you but is the guest not first? Pool is nice, no hot tub.Rooms: Need updating. Also need more utensils and cookware in the rooms.
Peter Baker: They haven't put any money into this location in a LONG time. The water was still in the coffee maker in the room! Yikes...bacteria! The cabinets were all scratched up and very old. And the refrigerator didn't really fit into its space - it wobbled and wasn't secure. Finally, the last time I stayed there I got food poisoning, and called back to tell them. The response was a simple, "Ok I'll tell the kitchen." (no apology? No sorry?)

Lisa Kaplowitz: My family stayed at this hotel for a very long extended stay waiting to move into our home. We felt very safe and very welcomed here! The staff became more like family throughout our stay, always friendly, smiling and there to help if we needed anything. The Wednesday night food and drinks was a huge plus, hot coffee always available 24/7, laundry facility, gym, pool and many other benefits to staying here vs a short term rental. We were comfortable there and having the kitchenette was one of the top reasons we were able to stay for as long as we did. From the cleaning staff, to front desk, to engineer, to the GM and assistant manager..our stay was wonderful. Chris, the General Manager went above and beyond on many occasions. And I cannot possibly remember everyone's name but here are just a few of the staff who really stood out to us...Chris, Andrea, Miss LaRue, Colleen, Maria, Harold, Jermaine, Bryant, Octavia, Mattie, Horacio, Yesenia, Carol, Arielle, Thomas, Dominique. Ashlyn Maney: I just recently stayed here, was the worst experience. I had to take a test, and had choose to stay here because it was close by. My dad had already payed for 4 nights for me to stay and had already checked me in online the day before going down (not 21 was told over the phone I would be able to stay as long as he checked me in online)! When I arrive they say they have no payment for the room and that it shows I had e checked in but they needed my dad( which was 7 hours away) to come show his id to check me In. They said there was nothing they could do. Ended up completely canceling the booking and had someone close by come pay for our room and check us in. Told the manager we wanted 3 nights, was only booked for 2. Was told the next day that we would not be able to get our belongings until we payed for a third night! Only had one set of towels and ac was so loud you could not sleep at night. Management was very rude and no help!!
Luke Clifton: Terrible experience, ac was super loud, could not sleep at night. Had an awful experience with check in, my 4 night booking was not even there! Manger was no help and lied straight to our face. Had to completely cancel first booking and book again for 3 nights, which the manager had done, turned out only booked for 2 days, we’re told would not be able to get our clothes unless we pay for another night, after it was supposed to be for 3 nights in the first place. Only had one set of towels and no one came and checked to see if we needed anymore or anything. Staff was very rude and not helpful at all. Management was terrible. Will never stay in a HILTON again. Would not recommend!!!
Edwin Sanchez: My truck and 3 other cars got broken into overnight, the manager Chris did not even say, hello or better I am sorry this happened to you, but told the officer how the cameras don't work properly and they can't see anything at night. I am a diamond member, travel, and use your properly a lot, this is the first time that I can say wow, they don't care about their guest. We are just money at check-in, or better yet when we check out.

Amanda H: Smelly and hot. We scheduled a suite with a separate bedroom with a king bed. The room smelled foul. Like cat pee or mold. They moved us to a queen regular hotel room for the same price, so we basically spent a lot of money on a small hotel room. It smelled, but smelled less than the first room, and was HOT. The carpets were visibly stained and walls needs cleaning or fresh paint too. I regret coming here. They only gave us 3 pillows for 2 people. Hilton ruined my vacation.The breakfast was disappointing. No milk for cereal, stale bagels and danishes, no dairy alternatives for coffee.

It would wake me up at night when it kicked on.Front desk doesn't really know exactly the process for getting on WiFi.Breakfast was relatively good. Except that all the juices were always frozen and good yogurts were gone by 8am. One suggestion is to maybe make breakfast sandwiches available. Like take those scrambled aggs and the sausage and make it into a bagel or crossiant sandwich. Would be really nice with cheese.This is a 3 star hotel and if I didn't k ow I'd think it was a 2 star.

Veronica Calvin: This residential hotel is a great place to stay for a short or extended time. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the facility is well kept, even with the constant traffic of guests (human and pets). Sonesta made my week-long stay in Cary a pleasure. This was my first time using this chain of hotels, and I look forward to using them again.Rooms: I like the layout of the bedroom and common area. Also, the rooms were clean. If an animal was previously in the room, I could not tell. (And believe me, I checked!)

Spencer B: This was my first stay at a Sonesta and I was very impressed. Natalie checked us in and she was so friendly and professional, there should be more people like her in this world. Anyway, the rooms were impeccably clean, the whole property was spotless. There was a fee for bringing a dog and I understand why, because they actually shampoo the carpet between guests with pets. I'm pretty sure most hotels don't do that. The housekeeping crew were all so nice and welcoming. Finally, the breakfast was a step above the rest, a nice surprise.

Local Seafoodlover: Wonderful unexpected hotel! Had never stayed at a Sonesta before, but it was convenient for our visit to Cary, and one of few with a two-bedroom suite. Very spacious room and a full kitchen which we will take more advantage of next time. The fireplace was an excellent touch especially in the cool weather, and added really nice ambiance throughout the visit. Bed was comfortable enough, and bathroom had ample space. If I had one complaint, it would be the pillows were kind of limp. I like one with good support, but no problem bringing my own next time. Thank you for a nice visit, and we will be seeing you again!

I left my keys in my room when I went out and when I came back she told me that I wasn't staying in that room. They had canceled my keys and I had to get the manager to remake keys for me. The sink, toilets, and shower did not work and when I asked the front desk they had zero timeline on when it would be fixed. Walking through the halls you can see dead roaches on the floor. Susan Flenniken: First of all, just let me say, to all the people giving this hotel bad reviews and few stars I think it's really arrogant of you to expect a Hilton experience for Motel 6 prices...you get what you pay for...that being said, I had a great stay here, and I was at the hotel 5 days!Yes, the common areas had some bleach stains on the carpet and some scuffs on the doors, this just means it is well used and being cleaned consistently. I own a property management and cleaning company so I am definitely the authority on these aspects.My room (203) was well stocked, very clean, and had no evidence of all the bugs other people claim to have seen. Everything worked in the room and the linens were fresh.The staff was amazing and the night manager, Andrea, deserves a raise for how far above and beyond she goes for a thankless job and a company who obviously doesn't recognize when they have a gold standard employee. If Andrea lived in Texas she would now be working for me, because quality help like her is impossible to find.The hotel was quiet even on the weekend and the pets that stayed were rule abiding as well. I was on the second floor of three but never heard anybody stomping around above me and no door slamming in the hallway. The hotel is in a great area set away from the road and surrounded by trees.I chose this place for the price as a package deal and I am glad I did. Nita Albersin: Stayed at hotel for 2 nights uneventful however at 11am housekeeping came requesting house keeping services I attended to door and informed housekeeping that I didn’t need any services however at approximately 1115 am heard a loud banging on my door it was Housekeeping manager Miracle Arnold at door. At first I thought it was the police due to how loudly she banged on the door. She spoke to me very rudely requesting that I leave room in 5 mins very rude authoritative unprofessional. I stated that I had paid for another night and check out was not until 12pm and I felt like I was being harassed. She made a whole mockery out of me checking out and speaking very loudly and very aggressive and unprofessional that I packed my stuff and left the room to speak with manager however the agent at front desk informed me that the manger won’t be in not until Tuesday (4 days after incident) .Sent a email to GM called customer service line made a formal complaint and reached out to Expedia for and made a formal complaint. The vetting process at this hotel needs much improvement because a manager doesn’t have the skills to be managing her subordinates. Management at this hotel is very poor. I would not recommend and the house keeping manger Miracle Arnold needs to be fired for poor customer service unprofessionalism, rudeness, and aggression. She clearly needs training in customer service and does not have the training and skills to manage her subordinates. She should be fired .
Tyler Peters: For a 2-star hotel, this was very solid. The staff were all very friendly and helpful to me, and the room was very nice and clean. The hallways outside the rooms are another story. They've needed to be replaced 10-15 years ago with all the dirt and stains on them. It's in a quiet location, which was nice too, but pretty far from anything too. If you have a car, it's no problem, a lot of chain restaurants nearby.Overall, for a barely two-day stay, this worked just fine for me.

Jeremiah Leonard: The absolute WORST hotel I have ever stayed at. DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY HERE AMERICA! The is extremely disrespectful and sarcastic. Particularly a female named Charlee. I had an issue with the room I was staying in; the smoke detector was beeping due to bad batteries. I asked Charlee if there was a way someone could fix it or just simply take out the old batteries. Her response "Who do you think is going to do that at this time!?" I replied, "How about you since you work here?" Then she retorted, "I was just going to switch your room since that would be easier." Her response to my, a paying customer's, issues was to be sarcastic and insult my intelligence. I don't appreciate that! I will never stay at this again until "Charlee" is fired. AND, I WANT A REFUND!

Dmitri Khorokhorin: I was charge twice for the same stay, and did not got my money back. After contact customer service many times. I still did not got my money back for second charge. I was told on many occasions, someone will contact me in 48 hours to resolve the issue but not ones I got the response. I will not recommend this hotel. If you don't want deal with same issue find the different hotel chain. Thank you.

Richard Pajooh: Before I even arrived I had issues with the customer service I called a day prior to check my reservation. The front desk person could not find it, I asked to speak with a manager and she said “that’s what the manager said.” I asked again to speak with a manager and she hung up on me. I called back no one picked up. I called corporate and corporate had to call them to confirm my reservation. I was moving from another area and reserved the room weeks prior. Even the corporate person questioned the service here.I arrive and have been in the room for about four days. The place has major issues. One the cabinets, stove, appliances, and basically everything were covered in dust nothing was cleaned. Interior of cabinets are warped the vent over the stove is rusted the stove has a sticker saying “for ventilation purposes remember to open your window while cooking” well I can’t do that being the window is broken you can’t open it without it falling off the track. The p traps under the kitchen sink is completely corroded and is leaking. All the doors, trim, and furniture look like they were in a tornado and severely scratched and damaged. The microwave plate or glass you put your food on isn’t even for this microwave so it doesn’t spin, half the buttons don’t work, all the cabinets are damaged and inside are warped, bubbled and had dead bugs.I had to clean the place just to make it some what sanitary.Based off previous reviewed management keeps saying they will fix things well you haven’t done anything.This place is a major code violation and I work in construction, I will contact the city inspector cause whoever owns this place clearly does not care at all.The only thing I can say is the floors look somewhat new.I took photos and video because there are so many damages here I don’t know where to begin and don’t want to be dinged for their poor maintenance and lack of cleaniness.Also if you are on the bottom floor and the top floor has kids you can hear everything. The carpets outside is the main walkway are pancaked with dog hair and dirt.This is a disgrace. Do not stay here in town suites or any other place is better.For 400 to 500 a week you are not getting your monies worth.I have nothing positive to say about this place.Do not stay here if you value your health safety and expect some measure of cleanliness.I’d like to speak to corporate about this cause as someone who works in construction and real estate and customer service this place really needs to be shut down.Do not come here. For a few dollars more or even the same price anywhere else is better.

Erin Seto: The staff was friendly, but that was the only good thing I could say about the location. I booked through Expedia and I really should have done more research before picking this location.The building is seriously dated. I mean, it does NOT even have an elevator. The stairwells are located inside doorways that are hard to find. You can't even get to any of the rooms through the lobby without going up a flight of stairs. This is not handicap friendly. And definitely not luggage friendly. I ended up leaving a bunch of stuff in my car.We also had to park our car where we could see it. The place had bad vibes. Saturday morning, I went out to get some things from my car and there was an entire case of empty beer bottles by the trashcan at the front door. It smelt like someone had a drunken party in the parking lot.The day we checked in, our bathroom light was so dim it was hard to see. The photo doesn't do it justice, but every time I needed to use the bathroom or shower I had to use my phone's flashlight to see. The maintenance guy said there was no bulbs to fix it and "ordered" a replacement. That was a disappointment all weekend.We got a suite to try and save money by eating at the hotel instead of dining out. But there was no pots/pans, plates, or utensils. And the stove was so dated I was afraid I might blow myself up turning it on. Even the microwave smelt weird.The bed at least had a mattress cover on it so there was no bed bugs that I could see, but it was not a restful weekend. The hallways smelt like weed. And there wasn't much help from management after the trip besides a half-hearted "sorry".DO NOT BOOK HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE $100/DAY.
