Extended Stay America - Durham - Research Triangle Park - Hwy 55: what do users think?
Kianée Manning: It's a little ghetto never no one in the front officeRooms: No one comes to clean daily nor hand out supplies....Rooms: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Ben Hoge: Very sketchy place, would never ever stay there again. The counter top in the room was held on with clear plastic masking tape. Constant noises outside. Entire place feels and smells dirty. I feel sorry for the people who work there.Rooms: 2/5|Location: 3/5 …More
E C: It wasn’t too bad but during my stay I witnessed animal abuse. One person there called the police and I called animal control. It was the last room on the second row of rooms. Bothers me nothing was done.
Siobhán S (sapphixy): Great location, but service leaves a lot to be desired; housekeeping never cleaned my room in the month I stayed there, and there was a lot of unrepaired damage to the room. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, but that was as far as it got.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Christy Lowery: Have met some great people and the staff is very friendly, helpful and outgoing!!Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Kerry Sanford: A woman was murdered less than 20 yards away from my room and they literally stole 300 dollars from my card without authorization or anything whatsoever I am Traumatized from the constant gunshots and police activity and even though there was someone's life taken during my stay they refused to give me a refund or even remotely offer any kind of discount I wish they would tear this hotel down so nobody else is Traumatized. Lawyer is already in the process of legal action.
Candace Williams: Rooms: The room wasn't the best but wasn't the worst either.Safety: There was a lot of police activity the night I stayed. It's right near a bus stop, so there are plenty of strangers walking through the parking lot.
Zach Brown: This room was a nightmare. I happened to be right next door to a 24 hour heroin distribution center. Knocking, banging, pleading, yelling at any hour of the day. Some of the customers couldn't make it down the stairs and would be fading in my path as I came and went. I cannot recommend a stay here. The rooms are shabby but serviceable. The location is great. It just isn't safe or comfortable to stay in.Safety: They show the security cameras on a display in the lobby. More than half are out. Based on my stay, they may not want to know what is going on.
Mikey Kiger: By far the worst motel experience I have ever had and that’s saying a hell of a lot considering I have been living in motels the past two years. I have been staying at this location since Jan 6th and today is the 31st and I go to pay for my room this morning and they tell me I have to pay for a whole week at a time or I can’t stay here any longer. Which makes no sense whatsoever because they are making 20$ a day if I pay a night at a time. I have learned from the plethora of crack and dope heads, that are a fixture of the place, begging for whatever they think they can con you out of that the management here is racist. There are hundreds of used needles laying around everywhere. Loud music and yelling all night long. Plumbing is messed up. Laundry room has homeless people sleeping in it. Definitely not a place to take the family. I will never recommend or sty at this location again. Rather sleep under a bridge. Less crackheads and safer.
Nikki Foster: Really needs to clean up the constant drug users and dealersRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Chris Stevenson: Don't bother going here nasty people hanging out all the time they call it the crack hotel.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Byron Gainey: Great services
Charlot Barker: This motel was repulsive. Bags of trash littered the stairwells and hallways, the smoke detector chirped periodically, carpet stained in many places, bathroom sink clogged, no hot water for early shower. The woman at the front desk was nice, but it was the worst motel I've ever seen.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 2/5 …More
Gabby Jones: I stayed there for a couple weeks til my place was ready to move in and let me just say terrible ! The heat didn’t work , the rooms smelled terrible! Nobody is ever at the front desk ! The place is just ghetto! And baby don’t even think bout calling that phone I watched them watch the phone ring! Smh don’t waste ur time even pulling n the raddegy parking lott
ADIL OUTKIDOUTE: I call front desk yesterday to solve my hot water problem for 2 nights i have this problem, they said they work on that but nobody do any action. Also about service i don't found bath towels,Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5 …More
brandi campbell: Nasty and rude

B AS: I stayed here several times over six months with my dog while he was in a clinical trial at North Carolina State University. They are dog friendly ($20 charge per dog). I got a really great price on the room booking online in advance. The staff were helpful and honored my request for a downstairs room. The bed is comfortable. The rooms are clean. Each tv gets over 60 channels. They have a pool. The rooms are comfortable and look new. The sheets and pillows are plush and soft. Both me and my dog slept very well. The beds were not much different than the courtyard by Marriott beds, but cheaper. Free internet. Dog approved.
Joanie Dixon: Had a Dr. Update across from the Days Inn at the one on Wake Forest Dr. N.C. only fault was the coffee maker. Wish it was a keurig pod one. The one they use makes weak coffee. But, we book the same room each time. Love everything else about it.Walkability: Denny's right in parking lot entrance.
D C: I really appreciate the representative at the front desk ( Brenda ) she was very patient and helpful with me and I had a lot of questions! I really appreciate excellent service!! Thank you so much !!!Noteworthy details: I appreciate all you offer for a nights stay !

Renay Robinson: The double room was very reasonably priced, clean and my service dog was comfortable as well. The location was convenient to my family members.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Laurel Agler: It was clean and the bed was comfy.
Aaron McNeil: The front desk associate was extremely unprofessional. A renter called while I was checking in and she immediately started yelling at the renter and after her call she proceeded to tell me why she was yelling at the renter. Sharing personal information and yelling at a renter is a no go! The room was ok for a 1 night stay.
Janelle R.: This place was good for the visit. It accommodated our needs while attending the Southeast Euro Fest car show.. It wasn't fancy nor had too many frills but the room was clean and neat! There was a shoot out in the oarking lot @ 530am on a Sunday morning, that was surprising. I hope that's not a regular occurrence.
Junakita Bond: Clean rooms but a lot of riff raft type of people walking.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Mizt3r3ous Matthews: Asked for extra wash cloths and they only gave me 1. Terrible service for 150. I'm never staying here again. Room was half remodeled and half outdated. What a waist of money. DONT YOU DARE STAY AT THIS LOCATIONRooms: Trash and service was Trash for an expensive price.

Mike Mastrobattista: This hotel was the worse place I stayed at,It was overpriced and the room was subparAnd somewhat clean and the microwave caught fire 🔥 while I was using it on my last night would not stay here again will find another place to stay next time. Teresa Reams: 🗣️ DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION!!!!🙅🏾‍♀️🙅🏾‍♀️ I'm telling y'all 🤦🏾‍♀️ this place will blame THEIR lack of maintenance, ON YOU!!. Their toilet was malfunctioning when we checked in (toilet barely flushing & flushing slowly). Then, when it got stopped up, it leaked to the room below us (they thought we stopped up their non-working toilets). Then tried to charge us for THEIR damages, AFTER telling us we had to leave the premises, even though we'd paid for a whole week (which it wasn't our time to leave yet). When the maintenance man FINALLY showed up to fix it, we heard him tell the 'front desk person' that they've BEEN having problems with this toilet & that nothing was stopped up/in the toilet, that WE did. So basically they've been having problems with it & blamed the stop up, on us. & Then tried to attach different charges to our card, (which we're too smart for & it'll NEVER happen 💅🏾💅🏾)...Anywho, pick ANY place to stay, but here.😚🙄💯 P.S. WE DO HAVE VIDEO OF THEIR WATER PROBLEM THAT RUINED OUR BELONGINGS WHEN THE WATER CAME OUT OF THE BATHROOM TO THE ROOM!!!

T “Chef Tee” Perry: This used to be my go to spot. They used to offer smoking rooms. On my last visit, I booked a smoking room and enjoyed my visit. I was never informed that this location no longer offers non smoking rooms and when I arrived for my reservation, I was told I am no longer able to stay at any extended stay location for smoking in the room (but I booked a smoking room). If they no longer offer smoking rooms then it should reflect that on the website. ANGRY AND CONFUSED- Please fix your website.
mike surratt: Trying to check in now....standing in the lobby for 15 minutes listening to alarm telling me I'm being recorded without a sign of help anywhere in sight....tired of hearing the alarm I walked outside to write this review..... absolutely the worst front desk experience I've ever had....!!!

Candice Broline: Comfortable. Bathrooms pretty small but fine. Breakfast is excellent and staff is very helpful and pleasant. Very handy location within walking distance to several restaurants, home depot and more. Price was good.Safety: Felt safe, well lit, nice areaWalkability: Walking distance to several good restaurants and stores.Food & drinks: Excellent breakfast with great variety. Hot coffee, hot water available. Also vending machines well stocked. Refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave in room.
Maurice Gilchrist: Employees where great. To our group.Rooms: Clean..Walkability: Good. Close to restaurants.Food & drinks: Ok.
Michael Newton: Very clean and friendly staff.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5 …More
Dustfeather and Co.: One of the best stays I've ever had and I travel a lot! Hotel and room are immaculately clean, beds comfortable and pillows squishy. Hot water and good pressure. The Breakfast..... bananut nut waffles, French toast, a whole cereal station, corned beef hash, fresh fruit, cheese omelets with peppers and ham, bacon, and roasted potatoes. Can you tell I'm a breakfast person haha. Great hotel for the price and I cannot recommend enough.
chris brooks: Clean lazy breakfast attendant.Ran out of food many times. Had to come back down 4times before the food was enough to make a plate. The woman lied and told one of the other guess that there were no more sausage links. The lady said yeah the last time she was there the last kitchen attendant got fired when the gm went n looked in the freezer and it was a few whole boxes left . She then changed what she was saying and said you mean the links and went and made some it took about 30 or 40 minutes but she made them 😆. Got to be. More careful.
Erik Daniels: Very nice hotel, I stay here several times a year always a nice experience.
Azborn Bey: These folks know how to make it feel like home. They have been more than friendly, and professional. I saw every client treated with respect! One of my favorite places to spend a couple of days when in Durham. Excellent ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
David Sforza: Good location if you are looking to explore every city in the triangle, as it feels like it's dead center of all of them.Staff was friendly and helpful. The lemon water and coffee with to go cups was nice. The rooms needed some updating. The bathroom in particular looked a little ragged, with tiles falling apart. Looked like someone had pulled the shower rod off the wall and they did a poor job repairing it. The elevator was a little rough, take the stairs. Otherwise the room felt clean and the bed was comfortable.I would come back here if the plan was to spend more time in Durham or Chapel Hill, but was a half hour drive to Raleigh (again a great middle point if you are traversing all three.
Brenda Haase: The room was very clean. However, I'm not so sure the sheets and pillow cases had been changed and were fresh. The food was hot and plentiful even though there was just one kitchen employee working this morning. She did her best and was extremely patient and helpful. Our bus driver missed the turnoff to the hotel because the arrow pointing in direction was not working from our vantage point.
KT Virgo: Hi, I stayed 4 days due to a training class for work.....I changed rooms 3xs in the 1st room (would have been perfect) but my fridge wasn't getting cold and the front desk said she had to move me, 2nd room didn't like the location on the back hall by the back side door didn't feel safe coming in from class at night. The 3rd wasn't as clean, over looked dirty wash clothes from the last customer was in the bathroom. Killed a baby roach I didn't see anymore afterwards... I had my own cleaning supplies so I cleaned myself, I had too much to pack up and move again. The front desk was always nice, the location was great. There are some nice rooms there although I had a few minor issues last week.Rooms: Clean for the most part, but needs to be double checked.Safety: The back side door needs more light at night. And the side door to the left down from the front desk across from the elevator doors needs to be fixed anyone can walk in the metal at the top of the door doesn't work. I opened the door without my card.
Joe Littrell: Cleanliness was better than average and I appreciated that at check in, the attendant noted what room we'd been assigned, and told us she was putting us in a better room. Breakfast wasn't that great and parking lot was overrun with heavy equipment from large client base of construction workers.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
Kelvina J: Beds were comfortable, wifi not too good, breakfast was decent. Our tv didn’t work and Tammy got us another room with no problem. I would stay here again. I didn’t give it 5/5 because the wifi. My stay was very comfortable though.Rooms: The beds were so comfortable and the room was clean.Walkability: So many stores around in walking distance
Edilma Benitez: the breakfast is good and friendly.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ti C: Awful weekend experience. Do not recommend staying here. Location is decent though.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Kayla Hicks: Edit: don’t waste your time or money. You get the run around. She addressed the issue of electricity not working but not how dirty the room was. If you look back at reviews, she clearly don’t care about costumer experience. not one time did I call anyone a b word- run the phone call where Evelyn escalated the matter by not letting anyone speak and then you’ll see where and why it escalated. 👍 your staff is fine- it’s you. This was the worst hotel experience I ever had. The manager, Evelyn S, is probably the worst candidate to ever run an establishment. Check in at 3 went rough due to the staff being slow, stopping to talk to her co workers about nothing, and just not knowing. The power immediately goes out. Fine, things happen. We had a show to get ready for and couldn’t get ready so then we had to go elsewhere. Upon the lights coming back on, we see how dirty the room is with foot prints of dirt in the tub, dust everywhere, a weird smell. The AC didn’t work.We were told at checkout to call the manager for refund due to issues and this child of an adult is like well why are you calling me and I don’t care and everything else. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Tenika Tucker: I was fine minus the one roach and bed bug that ate me up on the second night however they did upgrade us to a better room I had to go to the front desk the next day about the bedbug management never contacted me I had to contact them after the fact an spoke with the super who told me that the exterminator didn't find any I however caught an kept the bedbug and gave it to her
Deborah J.: The room was clean and spacious. Comfortable bed!Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Tony Bain: Stayed here to visit friends thought it was in downtown so we could walk places but its not walking distance but close enough to take a cheap uber. The room was clean and everyone was nice. Would stay again. A suggestion would be to add breakfast though.Rooms: Very clean
Blue Rose: People next to me was smoking weed and they told me I can't have my money back if I leave and I lost 100 bucks cause I left cause I sis not want to be charged someone else's smoking fee!
Steven Aragones: Stay Away from here, bad service, roaches in the rooms, and wont give me a refund!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Jesse Forte: The room was unclean and had a faint smell of animal urine. Some detergent or disinfectant used on the bed linens caused my skin to badly break out. The front desk staff was rude and clearly disinterested in their job. The hotel charged me more than the Hotwire rate that I booked, claiming that the extra amount was for incidentals. However despite having no incidentals the hotel overcharged nonetheless.Rooms: Unclean.
Sylvia McCree: Had an amazing stay over the weekend for an anime convention! Hotel staff happily accepted the arrival of several packages which was extremely helpful as I was a vendor for the event downtown! Additionally, they went above and beyond in making sure I had what I needed! De’ Asia was especially helpful!
Virginia Mckenzie: I stay at many hotel/motels each year. Maybe 40 plus each year. At this Red Roof is the first time I have ever seen COCKROACHES. On the wall by the bathroom sinkI killed all I could and brought evidence to the front desk. They hardly looked at the evidence and said "yes".Not a happy customer, will be very sceptical about staying at a red roof againYes they offered compensation but 10% does not make me a happy person.Rooms: cockroachesSafety: COCKROACHES
Brandon Whitley: Not sure how this hotel has 2 stars, when it barely should have 1. Upon arrival of this hotel, we arrived 20 mins prior to check in time. Front desk staff proceeded to tell us to come back in an hour for a different representative since they did not know how to check people in. When checked in, the room itself smelt moldy and musty. The room given had a hardly cleaned handicapped bathroom, where neither of us guests were handicapped, making it completely unnecessary. When asking a simple question of is there breakfast in the morning we get a response of “we got coffee take it or leave it”. And to top off this horrible experience housekeeping decided to take home a very expensive jacket that was accidentally left on the bed prior to check out. Normally hotels put things in lost in found but apparently this is a five finger discount hotel which could be expected from a 2 star hotel. After calling twice to retrieve jacket and speaking to front desk no refund was offered to make up for the stolen jacket or bad stay only “if we happen to find it you’ll have to mail us a box to send it back in” Don’t recommend anyone staying here.
Russell Jimenez III: Don't book anything at Red Roof Inn. I accidentally booked a room for the wrong weekend. Now the hotel won't refund my money after I paid the night that I actually stayed there. So now they are making pay for both weekends. They are thieves and this should be illegal
Eve W: Stayed here this past weekend with my daughters and it was absolutely great! The location is right off the 40 and everything we wanted to check out in the Raleigh and Cary areas was 5-15 mins away. The staff was super friendly and professional. I wish I had gotten the name of the gentleman at the front desk that checked us; he was very cheerful, patient, and kind. There's lots of room for parking, the room was clean and smelled great, and the coffee downstairs was pretty good! Thank you to the Red Roof Inn PLUS staff for the great experience.
JBguitar 1990: Rude front desk employee. But given how cheap this place is it’s actually pretty decent. Great for just an overnight stay.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 2/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More

Xavier Bantang: Very nice 3-star hotel. A little older, but well maintained, late night front desk staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.Rooms: Clean, functional, pleasant.Safety: No incidents during my stay, no one loitering outside.Walkability: Not very walkable, though convenient to UNC and downtown via car or transit.Food & drinks: Breakfast was included in my stay, but I was never up early enough to enjoy it, lol.
Diane Snyder: My only complaint is that each time, upon entering the room there was a chemically smell. This seemed to go away after a few minutes (or I became used to it.)However, everything else was immaculate! The cleanest coffee pot in my many hotels stays so far this year. The refrigerator was clean and cold. It even had a working freezer which I made use of. Even when I moved the comfort chair, I found no left behind surprises. I felt comfortable spending two nights there. Well done cleaning crew.
Elaine Petersen: The Ramada by Wyndham Raleigh is an excellent Inn. The rooms are nicely appointed & stocked with all items needed to replace whatever you may have forgotten for your stay. The amenities outside the room are comfortable and available for relaxing, working out or enjoying a dip in their pool. Breakfast is available from 6:30 - 10:00 am.The location of the Inn on the edge of the campus of NCSU is handy for visiting the University.I have returned to the Ramada Inn by Wyndham Raleigh several times in 2 months while my dog was treated at the Dental Center of NCSU Veterinary School.ElaineRooms: The rooms I have stayed in were very clean nicely appointed. Frank More: Was at the pool and was eat up by ants went to desk and explained it to the young lady there and told her I usually don't complain but they hurt SHE SAID WELL YOUR COMPLAINING NOW and than pretty much blue me off. I would not recommend staying here unless there is no place else. Rude people day shiftRooms: 4/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 5/5 …More
sindhu jomon: Very bad service except the breakfast person. No cleanliness, carpets are dusty, stingy, stained and dirty.Very poor customer service.I booked the hotel after staying at wyndham at Niagra falls. A totally different experience. At Niagra falls, the rooms were very clean, excellent customer service and found everyone very friendly.I couldnt find a 0 rating for Wyndham at NC, so I am giving 1
Doris Meredith: While visiting the Raleigh area my family and I stayed here. The hotel is very clean. The beds are super comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly. They also offer a military discount which is a plus. We enjoyed breakfast each morning which offered a wide variety to choose from. The landscape in the courtyard is beautiful and the pool area is neatly kept. It is conveniently located near the downtown exit which makes it easy to visit all the local shops and restaurants. I will definitely be staying here again and I highly recommend this hotel. 5🌟

Couponing 2Freedom: Found a bed bug in my bed and checked out immediately!- Response to reply on review. Seems to be a lack of communication from the staff if you did not learn until now the hotel has bed bugs. Please discuss with the night staff as it was reported to gentleman at front desk immediately upon checkout. His response was can I see the picture as I’ve never seen a bed bug in real life.Walkability: Walking distance to shop and eat.Noteworthy details: The area is nice everything close but you can tell hotel is not the best once you see people hanging in front of it.

cha zehe (chazehe): Super friendly people staying here and front desk staff is well. Unique architecture, lounge area near pool is inviting. Would love to have a balcony, but alas, I'm merely CLC. LOLHighly recommend this Best Western Plus!Rooms: Rooms are comfortable, spacious and well proportioned.

Anna.Jacob Goldenshtein: It's a very good place to stay, quiet and calm atmosphere, good service, beautiful location. Just across the street you have huge market center with Starbucks and Pizza, many different stores. Text to the hotel you have Panera Bread. There is an outdoor pool in the hotel. Breakfasts were very good. Coffee and tee for free 24/7. The only thing I didn't like in this hotel was the WiFi that didn't work at all. You connect to the WiFi, but without the internet.
Lourdes Steel: The place was clean and very welcoming. In particular, Niki, at the front desk, was great! She was so nice and offered excellent customer service. She even offered me a reward program to get discount and points when booking hotels. Overall, I highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ryan Grappo: Great service, accommodated our lack of state ID. That in itself was just out of this world. All we had was an expired temporary ID. Thank God for best western!!!Nearby activities: Crabtree valley mall with in one mile. Strip mall across the street, including Marshalls Ross and a T-Mobile store.
Cindy: The only complaint I have is the bed. I have arthritis and going on second night was a nightmare for me. Pain was awful. Other than that everything else was nice.Nearby activities: There's lots to do and see nearby. If we had the time, we would have ventured out, but we couldn't. Maybe next time.Walkability: Restaurants and shopping close enough to walk to.
Clementina Bradley: This location was absolutely perfect. Great eateries within walking distance of the hotel. Free breakfast was cooked great no mishaps at all. Thank you.Rooms: Well maintained and clean.Walkability: Loved the cool evening walks to the nearby stores.Food & drinks: Breakfast was awesome.
Tasha O.: Everything was good the bathroom had a weird smell though I didn't bother telling anyone because we were only staying for the night. In a good location had a shopping plaza across the street and a Panera bread next door.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More

penny sharp (Sharpfam6): We have been here approximately 24 hours as of this review so I feel I can give a good representation. We are on the 5th floor, king bed with a couch. The rooms are very spacious, VERY clean, and that A/C is top notch! Hot flashes ain’t no joke but the air was cool and the sheets were soft! The bathroom has a large stand up shower with mounted shampoo, conditioner and body wash. And let me tell ya - the body wash smells heavenly. The breakfast bar is a beauty. Now, I’m a big girl so you know I’m going to shoot you straight on this one. Waffles, scrambled eggs, potatoes, turkey sausage, yogurt, cereal, toast…. So many things!! Oh, and fruit for those of you that like to keep it G -rated on vacay.Everyone was so nice and smiling! I think they like their jobs and it shows!I’m not 100% sure what life is like around us with the exception of Wegman’s (what in the actual world - how have I never experienced this place?!), Starbie’s and Trader Joe’s.What I can tell you is - I had the best nap I’ve ever had in my life thanks to this amazing bed right here + the pool party downstairs. The location of the hotel is fantastic and I would even feel safe staying here alone or bringing my kids back sometime.Outside of the hotel bar area they have seating set up with those really pretty patio lights and what looks to be a fire pit. Beside that area is a pool- a pretty small pool- but a pool nonetheless. My only very small partial side eye was the birthday party that took place today- tons of kiddos in the pool and the seating area outside was - for the most part- unusable due to the party going on. Now, I’m not mad about it. I hope that child had an amazing birthday and collected lots of great memories - and gifts. I was going to hang by the pool today but decided not to because of the kid crowd ( don’t come at me. I have 4 at home and momma needed a talking time out) But the party gave me a really good excuse to stay inside and take a nap!! So cheers to you, new 8 year old!!All in all I would give this stay a 10/10. Nothing less. If you are on the fence just book this hotel. You won’t regret it.Rooms: Rooms are what appears to be brand new. The have no funky smell. Beds are soft. Decor is contemporary and the rooms are spacious. Bathrooms are very clean and shower is big as well.Safety: I felt very safe here. The outside was very well lit and it’s a nice part of town.Walkability: Right outside the hotel doors : Wegman’s, Starbucks, Trader Joe’s, tons of food places, Ross, etc
The Hulls: A beautiful Hampton Inn, just off of the highway and surrounded with an abundance of food stores, dining, and shopping options. Perfectly located to explore the area from the lakes and hikes to the downtown walking.Room 103 is perfect for a dog-friendly room. Tucked in the back corner of the hotel, two massive glass openings on the exterior wall allowing light to fill the room, privacy shades and darkening shades are installed to match your needs, an oversized walk-in shower with a separate oversized sink area to keep everyone happy when it is time to get ready.Staff is amazing, incredibly personable and available to answer any questions you may have. An adequate breakfast, ok, where the gluten-sensitive food options were limited. Our second challenge was the shower/toilet room. Unfortunately, when the room was designed no exhaust fan was installed, which leads to a steamy or fragrant room.As third consideration for this Hampton location is the addition of a nightlight. Yup, you read that correct, including or having an outlet night light installed will help with the sink area and navigating at night.
Anna Henry: I was just in Raleigh for a week and decided to stay at this particular Hampton Inn. I was attending 2 different concerts and this hotel was walking distance to the venue. What a fabulous place this is. Not only was it outrageously clean but the staff was kind and very accommodating. I absolutely loved that it was essentially in the middle of a shopping center so if I needed anything it was all right there. This is THE place to stay if you are ever in Raleigh! I can’t wait to go back!!-Anna
Delena Phung Foxworth: Dogs are at home here. The workers are top tier. Keep up the good work Hilton! I prefer hotels over airbnb due to amenities and knowing what to expect with Hilton hotels.
Jenifer Hall: I have worked as a manager and housekeeper in very high end hotels for many years. Due to this I am very picky and almost impossible to impress. I even bring my own sheets and cleaning supplies with me when I travel. This is the first time in many years where I couldn't find a single fault in my stay and believe me I looked. The room was immaculate and the staff was welcoming and on point.I would happily stay here again.
g Brite: My daughter and I stayed here over the weekend. It was a great location and so quiet. The hotel was so clean, and check in was quick and efficient. Everyone was nice and pleasant. This hotel will definitely be our Raleigh getaway.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet …More
April Forbes: I stayed at this location on May 5th. Checking in was a bit of a hassle due to the front desk associate not acknowledging my name on the reservation and my friend having to physically come there. However, once that was handled, the remainder of the stay was great!Nearby activities: This place is 7 minutes from downtown other attractions.

Widdabee08 H: We were in Raleigh for an entire month because I had a major surgery at Duke. And we are so thankful for the staff at this Hampton Inn! It was unlike any hotel experience we have ever had, seriously! Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and caring. Joe, Golena and Jamar at the front desk, and the manager Jenn. All of them went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We felt so welcomed and cared for. Which was a big comfort while going through a scary operation and recovering for a few weeks at the hotel. I truly can not thank them all enough and we will certainly stay at this hotel every time we come back to the area. Besides the wonderful staff, the room was clean and spacious and quiet, even on nights they were booked up! Continental breakfast is nice and the gentleman who took care of the buffet was also very sweet. The exercise room was spotless and had plenty of equipment. Laundry room was clean and convenient. It was too cold at the time for us to enjoy the pool and patio but the area looked nice. Beds are comfy. And the location was great - only 5 minutes from the hospital and the plaza has a grocery store and plenty of restaurants to pick from, all within walking distance. We highly recommend this hotel and suggest it to anyone we know coming to Raleigh. Not only because it is a nice hotel but the people here are amazing.
David Rivard-Lentz: If you stay at Hampton Inns, this is one of those gleaming beautiful new next-generation facilities. It's within walking distance of many restaurants and a Starbucks, as well as Trader Joe's and Wegmans grocery stores. It's located 10 minutes from downtown Raleigh and 15 minutes from RDU Airport.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Lea: Nice hotel & staff but the one amenity that was important to us when choosing where to stay was an EV charger. This is the second time we've stayed here, the last time was in August '22. Neither time have the chargers worked. We called ahead this stay, to give this hotel a second chance. They said they were working. They are not! Not cool 😒 Very disappointing and misleading! Please fix the chargers or remove from amenities list.
Barbara Cojocar: A clean and neat hotel with friendly staff. I have stayed here before and it did not disappoint. The evening was quiet, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. No doubt, I would stay again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Residence Inn by Marriott Raleigh-Durham Airport/Brier Creek: what do users think?
richard martinez: I was there for 2 nights with my wife, for some training, and the location and hotel were both great. The day of checking out, I was in training, and my wife went to check out. The lady at the front desk was speaking with another employee and having a ball when my wife came up to checkout. The lady that attended my wife was rude and didn't even make eye contact with my wife. I asked my wife if she'd gotten the ladies name, but she hadn't. It's incredible how you can have an excellent time, and all it takes is 1 employee to ruin everything for you. Next time I go to Durham NC for training, I won't be staying at that hotel.
George Neusch: Full kitchen. Generic hotel free breakfast that starts out tofurky and veggie and gets real meat by the end of the week. Beagels oatmeal fruit and muffins. Its connected to the courtyard that has a bar and restuarant. The bar staff is super friendly very entertaining and super responsive. The rooms have 2 beds and a fold out couch, full kitchen, everything you need! Need a car. Walkability zero
Caitlin Trepp: Beautiful hotel with lovely, accommodating staff who go above and beyond! A young woman named Conrad I believe, accommodated us with a late checkout at the last minute. Of course they won't be able to do this everytime, but this really made us feel cared for above and beyond, in keeping with our overall experience! Highly Recommend, thank you so much! :)Rooms: Beautiful double-bed suite was perfect for our familyNearby activities: Wonderful place to staySafety: I felt very safe here in this areaWalkability: Right nearby the Brier Creek CommonsFood & drinks: Close to wonderful must-see breakfast place First Watch, as well as other 5-star restaurants with wonderful variety including Mediterranean, Vietnamese, Korean, and of course Southern Homestyle
Nicky Mirks: Nice, clean hotel, and the complementary breakfast was very good as wellRooms: Clean roomsRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Beatriz Pastrana Maude: Apparently cleaning here is once per week, I had work meeting so I needed them to come back later, I had to change my Owen bed and towels. I would not return
Morgan Quattro: Worst Marriott I have ever been to, service wise! I have stayed at 1000s of Marriotts around the world as a titanium member and this one by far has given the worst service! Their pure desire to not help and lie directly to our face when we wanted a simple courtesy ride. The front desk Clayvonne lying about being able to assist us then also Brandi saying "I can get you where you need to go" then 2 minutes later saying no the manager...who is off today...said no. So do not go to this THIRD PARTY marriott as the service and lies are horrible
V Mars: Very clean room and public areas. Complimentary breakfast had hot (French toast, scrambled eggs, Canadian bacon) and cold items (cereal, yogurt, fruit, baked goods). Good indoor pool and gym with everything necessary for a basic workout. Welcoming polite staff who were very helpful with our check-in requests.Safety: Area seems safe.
Jeff Lee: Perfect for a one night stay for an early morning flight out of RDU. Newer property that is attached to a Courtyard.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Dean Estep: Did not inform me they don't clean rooms daily. Requested room be cleaned, desk agent told me it was Marriotts policy not to do it daily. Talked to the Titanium Elite line which clearly stated that was not Marriott's policy but that some hotels don't do it due to low staffing. Desk agent was not kind. Said she'd call housekeeping supervisor and have her clean it. Never happened! Very disappointed in this property. Wrote review yesterday and it was gone today. Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Come on Marriott, after 2700+ nights I know you're better than this!!!!Rooms: The don't clean them consistently
Bibas Basnet: Upgraded rooms with new appliances!! Liked it.
Gustavo Marin: Great locationRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Rick G: Not at all what we expect from RI - did not compare favorably to other RIs. Very dated - our "suite" was closet sized. The couch should have been replaced years ago. We sat on the end and rolled right to the middle! Couldn't use it and had to sit on the bed or dining chairs during our stay. Too embarrassed to have friends visit. Service at check in wasn't very welcoming but the next day's team was great - much more service focused. Wouldn't recommend to colleagues or friends.
Mark Saunders: Location by the airport is nice and the hotel is modern. Our one-bedroom suite had a very small living room area. Breakfast was good with many hot options including scrambled eggs, sausage (2 varieties), etc.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Chenise Stewart: Nice clean place. Had an event here for 2 days. The staff were very accommodating. Thank you staff!!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Abigail Fox: Friendly, helpful staff. Quick, easy check-in and check-out. Meticulously clean. Modern. Delicious complimentary breakfast. Above and beyond everything we needed.
