Keyu Li: Before I went to 12 Ji, I found some bad reviews on the social media platform/Google map(e.g. expensive/bad service/umm food)Because of that, I didn’t ever plan to go to this place for eating hot pot. However, one of my lab mates went there and said this place was actually good in terms of their flavor and food. So yes, finally I want to give it a try.So here is my review:Pros:1) Great environment, more quite than other hotpot place, no need to wait to be seated.2) Lots of food choice, the flavor and soup are actually really great for me, I can say that their soup base quality are very good. They have very special meat choice of high quality and taste wonderful!3) Price are quite fair, it’s similar compared with Szechuan Mansion Hotpot.4) My boyfriend really like their vegetable mix since it has more kinds of vegetables compared with other place.Cons:1) Some noise come from their machine.Other:Service is okay, not bad, I’ll give the service 3.5/5 star.Overall:4 star. I give 5 star due to other bad reviews which I do not understand. Loveyou “MickeyZ” 3000: Everything about this hotpot restaurant is fabulous! This could be the most authentic hotpot you can find in NC I know. They have items that I LOVE but couldn’t find in the rest of NC. One thing it surprised me was their All You Can Eat option! It cost $56 and it was definitely worth it!

Steven Zhang: One of the most traditional and tasty hot pot I ever ate in America, taste just like my childhood back in Chengdu. Highly recommend their beef which has bunch of variety and the best quality I ever ate! Most importantly is super valuable highly recommend! 😋

Scott Crawford: Went here for lunch on a weekday on a whim. Almost everything we had was EXCELLENT! The miso soup was great, my spicy pork bulgogi bowl was awesome, and my wife's sushi rolls were top tier! Also the pot stickers we had for an appetizer were delicious! All the food was very fresh tasting as well! The only downside was the teriyaki sauce which left something to be desired.

My wife had her usual 'bibimbap', which is a mixed rice dish with an egg on top, and I had a marinated beef short rib dish called 'galbi' or 'kalbi'. Very tasty. Highly recommend. Next time I plan on trying their bulgogi and see how it compares with other spots.

But it falls way short. Sushi was stale, ginger seemed dried. Salad was ok. Tom kha soup felt like the chef just threw raw ingredients in hot broth. I hope the owner reads this and improves the food quality, as it is a really nice spot. Until then I will not return or recommend.

Lashunda Snowden: We came here to celebrate my son 11th bday! Sushi was good for the most part. Some of the dishes took forever to come out so my friend ended up canceling her dishes. The waiter forgot all about the other dishes. When it was time to split the bill, they couldn’t dived the sushi which it made it difficult to pay. My friend also didn’t get her $2 off her cocktail as she should have because of their special. We asked for the manager and he came to our table very aggressively and rude! He made the situation worse so why is he even the manager! He definitely needs training on customer service and I don’t mind training him for free! His whole attitude was uncalled for since we spent close to $250 in the restaurant!!!! We will definitely find a new place to eat sushi.

Thalia Yaney: We (me, my husband, and 3yr old daughter) were greeted right at the door with a smile and were sat right away. Once sat our waitress took our order, brought our water and that was the last we saw of her for the 45 minutes. She came back to bring our appetizer; when we asked for a refill she seemed almost annoyed that we asked. Proceeding with the refill she left without saying a word. Then we didn’t see her again for another 15 minutes until we got our food. We finish our dinner and continue to sit waiting for our waitress.After waiting a prolonged time for her we finally flag her down for some boxes which she retrieves and brings back to us then leaves once again without a word. After waiting 10 more minutes we catch a different waiter who then brings us our tab. This is one of, if not the worse, service at a restaurant I have experienced.
