Josh Rife: This place used to be the spot. We'd order there anytime, not a bad option to be had.They changed ownership and we've tried several times since then. It was okay for a while, a bit hit and miss on order accuracy. Now, however, it's fallen off. In one order, the udon was overcooked, broth was way too salty, the sushi rice was hard and stale, and the fish was flavorless, across multiple rolls. They're still charging prices like they're the sushi spot to go to, bit quality has taken a massive nosedive.Sucks, we patroned here for about 8 years consistently. Now it isn't worth even half of what it costs.

Food being delivered cold, portion sizes smaller, dressings runny and you can tell the fryer grease hasn't been changed based on how the food comes out and looks. Will not be ordering from here again.

RK The Trash Artist: Despite the mixed and low reviews, my experience at Genki's was a pleasant one. Our waitress was very sweet and accomdating during our visit from start to end.As for the food, it was honestly delicious!
Cherese Boyd: Customer service is nonexistent. I ordered curbside and there was a selection for extra white sauce I selected that option. No where did it state that the extra white sauce would be a substitution for the ginger sauce. When I inquired about my missing ginger sauce, the lady immediately said it’s gonna cost extra, which is not a problem but the way that she made it seem was that because I chose extra white sauce, I should have known that I would not get the ginger sauce. There is a way to get the information across without being rude. I mean it was only $.82, and if I asked for it, I must be able to afford it. Then she came out with the bill for the sauce, but with no sauce to ensure that I paid the amount first otherwise I would not get the 2 ounce cup of sauce. How insulting

Fresh, tender sushi that held up its shape when grabbed with chopsticks. Good variety of both rolls and nigiri/sashimi. Service was amazing despite me being a lone party of one. Attentive, knowledgeable server who seemed to genuinely care about my wellbeing after slamming multiple of the best priced sapporo I've found in the triangle. I would consider this place to be authentic and one of the better sushi restaurants in the Triangle area. I actually prefer this place over M Sushi because I think the prices and tastes of dishes/sushi are better at Oiso.

Benjamin Mangalam: First time here, nice little place. Got hibachi chicken and hibachi steak with fried dumplings. We both like our meals, wives got more vegetables than me 🤣, but she doesn't even eat vegetables. I wished it little bit more favor on the steak pieces. The rice was good with the vegetables. The fried dumplings were nice and hot. The restaurant was okay. There was water by the employee door entrance, and the bathroom was in the back of the restaurant.
Floyd Powell: Favorite go to Japanese takeout place. Been going here for years. Prices have gone up over the years so it’s kind of expensive now but it’s worth going every now and then just to try it. I usually get the hibachi chicken and shrimp and the wife usually gets the yummy chicken entree. Both are pretty good. You can expect to spend about $13 per person here (not including drink) and I’d recommend calling in your order so that your food is ready when you get there. Hope this helps!

C C: Started with 5 stars but the lobster roll was too big that it didn’t fit in a big bite, the lobster flavor was missing and over powered by a sweet lettuce; very refreshing though. The service was quick but no utensils, just one paper napkin. The seafood ramen was delicious with coconut flavor and the egg was to the perfection and very tasty. The squid salad was perfectly al dente and juicy, the yellowtail carpaccio was good.

Keri Banegas: We had the ramen. It was fine. I have a feeling their main draw is the sushi since they have 4 pages of that versus the back page with ramen. It was pretty standard. But if you're going for ramen, there are at least 10 better spots than this that I've tried in the last 6 months. The sushi did look outstanding and very fresh. The waitstaff was on point and courteous. Overall, standard experience but I won't be having the ramen again.
