They're always awesome as far as the people that work for them and if it were only about the staff I would give them 5 star's but the price is ridiculous. Especially considering how long I've been a customer. It cost me over 1/3 of my return to do my taxes even though it took less than 10 minutes. So, when it comes to the staff - 5 + star's. Cost 5 - star's.(Update - I just called the number you provided & it was just a really confused representative and finally he just said he would have my tax representative call me which I can't reiterate enough that she was fabulous all around. They always are and have been. My 3 stars is because I was charged over $400 out of my $1900 refund for a appointment that took less than 10 minutes. Which is always and has always been the case. It's ridiculous. Especially when I've been a loyal customer since the mid 90's. This will be my last year. Which I'm 42 so I have a lot of years left to work. Not to mention every year I send you 5 to 10 new customers because I would tell anyone who listened that H&R Block was the way to go- period. This year I've deterred I don't know how many people but a bad experience travels so much faster & impacts so many more people than a good review.. I Hope the $400 some dollar charge each year these past 4 or 5 yrs was worth it is all I've got to say. That and tell your friends. Even.. No. ESPECIALLY corporations can cross a line regardless of how long they've been with you. 🙄🤷‍♀️ )

Ruthiekins: The people we go to does a great job. This year we saw Whit. Whit's personality is inviting, friendly, and helpful. I like how he explained information I didn't understand and best of all, he writes/ draws it out, to help me better visualize what he's saying.***Side note***I dislike filling taxes. In fact I came in to see Whit and gave him one sheet of information because I didn't want to put the time in. Well, Whit gave me the encouragement I needed to pull myself together and bring in the items he needed so I could get a great return. My my, what a return it was indeed. Thank you so much Whit! Looking forward to seeing you next year.*** 2/17/23: It's with great sadness I announce that Whit has passed away. He passed away last year. We are now back to looking for a new CPA, hopefully with H&R Block. If you would highly recommend anyone, please let me know. R.I.P Whit.

Naomi Coleman: There’s an Asian lady at this location who has a horrible demeanor about herself. She’s not a peoples person. I wouldn’t recommend her to my worse enemy. The front desk rep stuck me with her and I asked is there anyone else she lied and said no. The Asian lady hung up on me and blocked my calls one weekend. I won’t ever go back to this location if she’s still there. A person like her should serve in the army or as a correctional officer. Because that my friend is her attitude and it’s not polite and office like.

Phyllis Cabrera: Bill did my taxes last year; no problem. This year Greg called me from their office to set up a phone appointment with BIll, which I had to reschedule. On Easter Sunday Greg called and told me that they would not be able to do my taxes after all because they did not have enough advisors. I had never even called them to ask for their services this year; they called me! And then called again to say they could not do them after all! Two days before they are due! WTH? I will never all them in the future, that's for sure!

David DeWald: This was single handedly the worst experience I've ever had with H&R Block in all the time I've used them for returns.I dropped off my return, didn’t hear anything for 2 weeks, called multiple times and was repeatedly told that I would get a call back, but never received a call back. It wasn't until I raised a stink in office, that the return got started. Pretty sure I got charge for a Business Return when I don't even own a business.

I reached out on June 10, 2021 to ask what we needed to pay for quarter 2. Joe replied with a few questions. We answered the questions and waited to hear back. Nothing. Checked back in on June 20. Nothing. I have never again heard from Joe. We have had to find someone else to do our taxes. Would not recommend. I’m not sure if it’s an issue of too many customers and Joe not have the capacity or a communication issue but we will not be going back.
