Cha House Cary: what do users think?
Emily K: Very cute store! The loose leaf tea looks good too, I’ll be back later. The fruit tea was good and the boba was perfect, small and not too sweet.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
sheep :D: I love this place, and come almost every 2 weeks! The service is good and the cashiers always greet you with a smile and are patient, which I know since I usually order big orders for my family sometimes. The atmosphere is also really nice, they have many plants and a hanging chair. I absolutely love the Dirty Tiger Boba from here, it’s my favorite. I tried the Taro Bob Float once, and well, I realized I did not like Taro. Some people say it tastes like cereal milk or birthday cake, but it was just too sweet for me. It looked so pretty though! I got a cupcake here one time, and it was good.Tl;drBoba here is good, atmosphere is cute and planty, service is nice and patient, food is tasty.Kid-friendliness: The cashier is patient with kids who are ordering, and there are lots of chairs close to the ground. Plus the hanging chair is a big bonus for many kids.
tony low: Just moved to Cary from the Bay Area and was surprised to see this cute shop here. I love all Asian cuisine, but coming from CA, my expectations are high. Cha House did not disappoint, though the menu, IMO, is more Multi-Asian than Taiwanese. (Ex: my Kimchi onion pancake)Regardless, the quality of the food was outstanding! Super tasty! I'll have to try a boba next time.
Naye Alston: I have been going here since they have been opened. Supporting just because the staff is friendly and the boba tea is pretty good. I do my best to support small businesses, but today I will never be going back. Today, I went to get Boba Tea and we paid in cash. They could not provide me with change because so they ran out of coins so they said, “Sorry.” Pause. What???? I was going to let it go until another coworker said, “Sorry, we are a small business.” I was completely shocked. Im not sure how small of a business this but you should always keep the cash drawer stocked. Very weird experience.
C H K: Enjoying Cha House for the second time this week while we're in the area looking for a new place to call home — bc it's THAT great! Love the egg waffle, Thai chili chicken dish & the green pancake — savory & delicious! 😋Quality ingredients & exceptional attention to detail. Authentic teas, food & people •5🌟💣•
Lee Florian: Favorite place for weekly dates and take out. Love their fruit teas and matcha. The baristas are so nice and fast, and the food is always amazing. The only downside is around dinner rushes families come in with their screaming kids and don't often do anything to get their kids to stop screaming.Vegetarian options: Lots of tofu optionsKid-friendliness: Families and kids are here all the time. I just wish they respected the fact that other patrons are here too and asked their kids not to scream.Parking: The trader Joe's and Aldi next door make parking sometimes difficult but you can always find a spot eventually. You might have to walkDietary restrictions: Tons of dairy free alternatives and gf options they do their best to accommodate everyone
Mei Li Straka: Super sweet staff and great boba! Definitely recommend the matchajito!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Anna King (Mintyrush): Cha House is my favorite boba place in the area. They make consistently good drinks, and the staff there is really friendly. And the music they play inside tends to be really good too.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kim Beardsley: Always greeted with a warm smile, Hallie knows exactly what I am in the mood for each time!
Sydney Bolyard: So so cute inside, friendly staff, very quick service :) you can customize ice level, sugar, milk alternatives, iced/hot, boba, etc etc etc. I got Taro, iced, 1/2 sugar, light ice, boba… perfection 😍 the boba was the perfect consistency. Highly recommend taro if you’ve never had it before- it’s like cereal milk and a beautiful purple color 💜 I’ll be back ☺️Parking: Parking lotDietary restrictions: Offers milk alternatives
Jarisa Johnson: I love that I discovered this place. It’s nice to have a place that offers a variety of teas for those who don’t drink coffee. It’s cute, the staff is very friendly, and it’s really just the perfect place to be on a warm day.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Mayra Salonga: MAY 7 2023, I had been out all day happily shopping, and Cha House was my last stop before going home. I was wanting to order a dirty tiger with extra espresso, but the cashier said that she had already cleaned up the espresso machine, so she couldn't make my order with expresso. It was 8:45 pm when I came in and that's the only thing I was craving, hoping to catch the place before they close. I genuinely informed her that I had come in only for that. I asked her what time they will close? She said 9PM without looking at me. She didn't seem to care, and was very unfriendly and doesn't have any expression on her face. I personally used to work in food and beverage, cleaning should typically take place after closing. Or at the very least, assist customers while the store is still open. It was very disappointing! Overall I guess is the way SHE talk, she seem like she didn't want me to be there, she ruined my evening!
Maiteely Yang: Staff is friendly and recommended me some great drinks! The pink lady is sooooo good and perfect for a hot day! The strawberry matcha is also delicious. I end up chugging all my drinks every time I go. Will have to try the food next time.
Rebecca Davis: Tasty boba that can be conveniently grabbed after a Trader Joe's shopping trip
Tom D: Used to be my go to spot. The quality definitely dropped. The milk teas tasted watery.

Jenah: The Thai tea is basically milk with a splash of tea. Disappointing considering it’s pretty much the most basic drink you can get at boba spots.

Hamideh Cole: Found hair 3 x in a row on different occasions. They hired less rude staff that can make the drinks now but what’s the point when it has hair in it. It’s either sickly sweet or watered down. I’ve been going for years and they’ve just got so bad I’m not going anymore. Leaving the review so the owner can fix the issues as he’s a nice guy but he employs trash.

Brecotea: what do users think?
Julie Carlino: Clean, good pastries, friendly staff
Olya Scott: Not busy when we go every now and then. Love the desserts and drinks. The house latte is fabulous and delicious.
Natalie grace: This place was fun ! I didn’t know what to expect . Went to do some homework probably better for some social hangout ! But I got their house iced coffee with brown sugar boba and was really good ! The pastry’s looked great and everyone was fairly nice!
Michael Sila: This place was great. I've never seen this big a selection of pastries at a coffee shop. While it was a bit pricey, it's much less expensive than any equivalent you could get. It's also delicious.
jane qiao (Jane qiao): Mango cake is the worst thing I've ever eaten. The mango on the cake was hard and sour, not any sweetness .I think maybe no one in there ate it because they still sell it. Today is my birthday, I just wanted a small piece of the best cake for myself. But it was so disappointing to eat it. I wish I had not bought it.
Mayra Lopez: First time trying it and it was 😋👌 will definitely come back and bring friends and family! 😊
Divya Seetharaman: I’ve been to brecotea consistently w friends and I’ve ordered a bday cake for my mom before. I ordered my sister’s bday cake today (tiramisu) and I thought it’d live up to the usual expectations. However, the cake didn’t have any sweet (I’m guessing they forgot to add sugar in the mascarpone or something). It was completely inedible due to the LACK of sweetness. Definitely let my sister down on the bday cake today and felt like my 50$ on the cake was a waste of money;(
Emma: Yesterday around 6 pm, my family and I visited this cafe. Unfortunately, my experience turned offensive. I decided to order a hazelnut latte, but to my dismay, it arrived incredibly light and lacked any discernible flavor. Wanting to address the issue politely, I approached the cashier and kindly requested a remake of my beverage. The cashier was understanding and acknowledged the problem, assuring me that she would gladly prepare a new one.As I stood near a corner with my sister, on our way to the restroom, I inadvertently overheard a conversation unfolding among the cashier and two baristas. To my shock, they were discussing my situation behind my back, completely unaware of my presence. What deeply offended me was their perception of me as peculiar, despite my polite and respectful interaction with the cashier. I had merely expressed my concerns in a courteous manner, yet they had judged me in an unkind and disrespectful manner. The behavior exhibited by the staff left me feeling disrespected and deeply offended. It is particularly disconcerting that the initial rudeness began right from the moment I placed my order, with the cashier displaying an unwelcoming attitude. It seemed as though she had little interest in providing quality service. This entire experience has been highly disappointing, and it is evident that the employees at this establishment require comprehensive retraining.Overall, the coffee offered at this cafe is disappointingly tasteless, and the demeanor of the cashier is both offensive and rude.
Mary: I thought the boba tea tasted awful and the bakery items I got were flavorless
Oak Miller: yummy
ok: breco tea's drinks and pastries never fail to disappoint!! i love this cafe, and its incredible how many different people of all different backgrounds seem to unite over one thing: bread. the white chocolate strawberry cake is to die for! ive had a handful of different drinks here and they were all fantastic, definitely will be adding this place to my rotation of boba shops and bakeries :)
Shirley S: cheese cake and foam tea tastes lacking real cheese. Fruit tastes fresh but not good, mango tastes astringent.
Kitty Tang: Bakeries are great and prices are very competitive comparing to other Asian bakeries. The drink here is not as good as the food, so it’s better to order the drink somewhere else.
Hailey C.: Fabulous space. The interior is gorgeous, and the staff is always so friendly. We come here regularly and always appreciate how consistently good the pastries are! Both the boba and coffee drinks are also nice. I sometimes WFH here to break up the work day - plenty of seating options and outlets.
Vinita E.: Overall I was disappointed with the quality of the cake and sparking tea. The ambience is nice, bright and very spacious. As soon as you walk in they have the menu on the side where you can choose teas, coffee, boba, milkshake and many other options. To the side is a huge bread spread with a ton of options. Everything looked delicious! A friend told me the latte tasted good, however the mango sparkling tea was too sweet for my liking. The mango crepe cake was terrible. I didn't taste any mango and there was a different/odd after taste to it. The tiramisu didn't taste like tiramisu. However the chocolate mousse was decent. Overall I would recommend this place to try their bread spread but I dont have high expectations with their teas or cake slices from what we tried.
David Ling: Good place for dessert and coffee. They also have a good choices of cakesFood: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes …More

MILKLAB: what do users think?
Regina Quintos: Milk lab is my fave! The staff are nice and they put on a gokd show for the fried ice cream rolls. I hope there's more seating..
Paulie and Me Admin: The most amazing ice cream ever. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Emily Ready: 5 stars because it's such a novelty still. Actually used it as a place to take out of town guests. The first time the boba teas were tastier. The second time the tea was met but we tried the ice cream and my guests were so impressed.
Miriam Plata: I went two times to get ice cream and they refused to sell it to me because there was only 5 mins left, the second time I went 15 mins before they close the lady didn’t have more orders and still refused to sell me the ice cream again.
Randy Garcia: Good, fast and affordable
Morgan Crutchfield: Be sure to Google rolled ice cream and/or Boba tea so you know what you’re getting into! The ice cream was fantastic and it’s really cool to watch them custom make your order. Because they’re making everything at time of order, the wait can get long when the joint is hopping. Be patient - it’s worth it!
Hailey C.: My favorite boba in the area. The flavors are amazing, and I love that you can customize the sweetness level. I appreciate the variety of milks available, and the seasonal menu always has something great to try!
Anna B: Chocolate Factory & Thai Iced Tea icecream
Animal Crossing: Waited in line for at least 20 minutes to get their tea at Animazement. No prices on their menu at all, so I stupidly assumed it would be the same price as the teas at their store. The total came out to $20 FOR 2 SMALL TEAS. If you're going to charge a ridiculous price for a small drink, at least have the dignity to put the price of it on your menu.
Mary M: All 3 of the beverages I got were perfect. Love that they offer curbside service!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Harrison Moore: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
joseph weeks: Excellent Thai tea ice cream! Girlfriend got the rose boba and it was amazing as well.
Garrett Payne: Great place, but they do take a little long sometimes. Their boba is amazing and so is their ice cream, but you may find yourself waiting a little too long for it if they’re even a little busy. Staff is super friendly though. Definitely recommend, as long as you’re not in a time crunch.
Mariia Kovalenko: So testy! We ordered rose milk tea, Hong Kong style milk tea and Thai green milk tea - delicious! We're waited for order just couple minutes.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Naresh: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Han Stw: I had the Uji Matcha Latte with boba and it was really good!Recommended dishes Matcha Latte Milk Cap, Milk Cap …More
jithin cheruthala: We had a mango tea and it was delicious
Alex Elizabeth: It would have been better if toppings were organized by flavor profiles instead of an open list. I’ve never ordered from a boba place like this, and ended up with a drink I didn’t like tho my friends tasted awesome. I unfortunately made the mistake of being adventurous and ordered 3 toppings to try with something that just didn’t mesh well with the drink and the textures/flavors were so different from each other. Not to mention, at least a third of my large drink was filled with toppings, so I couldn’t even use a straw and had to sip out the liquid, and ditch all the toppings. Having the cashier giving a heads up about the textures/flavors of what they’re ordering would be great for a newbie like me, I felt like it was pretty obvious I didn’t know what I was doing. I do like the idea of all the toppings but my drink definitely was very filled with a bunch of stuff that just didn’t taste good.
Harpreet Kaur: Recommended dishes Thai Tea Ice Cream, Ceylon Tea with Milk Cap and Ceylon Milk Tea with Boba, Mango Rolled Ice Cream, Mango Ice Cream, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Cookie Monster Rolled Ice Cream w Vanilla Base, Rainbow Fruit TeaMore
Anindita Barman: Loved their Jade Oolong milk tea with boba and rose milk tea with strawberry jelly. Would love to visit again.

Robert Bond: Food used to be good. Family and I did takeout today and it was terrible. The braised pork used to be so tender. Today like cardboard. Used to give a large helping. Now they give less and charge more. Will not be eating there again.
Rose B: I love the bubble tea but the smell is DISGUSTING. Is it the food that smells horrific or is it sewage smell? I honestly have no clue but even through a mask I hold my breath and run out the minute the tea is ready. Please fix the smell!!!
elsa wu: Ordered two lunch boxes and two bubble tea there for lunch this Saturday. Accidentally dropped one of bubble tea on floor, I was wondering if they would give a new bubble tea. however they didn't. Instead, the employee came to clean up the mess with every mad face and also not say anything to me. Very bad customer service experience here....
adhya mandava: Really fast workers and amazing food/drinks. The only problem is that depending on the size of the drink you should have differing amounts of tapioca balls.
Han Stw: Great bubble tea store! I always get the red bean bubble milk tea as it also comes with the red beans. You can adjust the sweetness/sugar level and the ice levels as well. The staff members are always friendly and the tea prices are decent /not too bad. They also sell some Asian food and fried popcorn chicken which is also very good!
JackLay: Nice place for many kind of bubble teas. But very limited seating. To go or delivery via doordash or Uber eat would be better choice.
Cheyenne Callahan-McCollum: Smelled like a NYC subway bathroom, maybe their fridge broke or used a dirty mop to clean. So oppressive that I Quickly left without getting anything. Maybe this is an unfair review but I couldn't imagine getting anything decent in such a stinky store.
Gavin Gore: Always good tea and service. Store feels pretty dated and always has a pretty gross sewage smell. Obviously it isn’t really a sit-down restaurant so it’s not much of an issue
Miki Nifong: 唐揚げがたべたいときはここにいきます。タピオカミルクティーも普通においしいので気に入っています。
Lenora Brooks: Delicious watermelon slush boba
Kelley Harrell: Great teas and service. They have no gluten free food options.
Susan Nguyen: Delicious bubble tea. Large selection of flavors. We got 3 snows. Small with limited seating.
Izzy Wizzy: I got food poisoning from this place so yea not good experience…
Lauren Marcus: Smells like they have a sewer gas leak. Very unhealthy and stinky!
Joshua Mitch Franklin: Great bubble tea, strange smell. The bubble tea here is the best in the area! But for some reason the place smells like sewage. I don't mind holding my breath for a taste of this great bubble tea!

Kimberly Ramos: Place has a nice cozy feeling. Got the cold thai tea with boba and the drink was delicious! The tea was not too sweet and had a great taste, the boba was nice and chewy. The drink came out almost immediately but one thing I will add is that if you order food be prepared to wait 15+ minutes as they do take quite a bit of time preparing it (I will say that I was the only customer there around 1pm and they still took a while). Regardless of that, the popcorn chicken rice plate was delicious, but I will not be ordering food when I'm in a hurry. Plate looks a bit shaken because I walked back to campus with it, I do recommend it anyways!

Jharana Agrawal: Wrote off Cha house many years ago after multiple instances of inconsistent boba texture (which I still stand by). However I walked in and they had run out of boba so I tried their Fruit Tea with Mango Purée and Strawberry Jelly, a combo I probably wouldn’t have reached for otherwise and it was freaking delicious. Like I might come back tomorrow. Like I regret my choice of a medium. Like I wish a Time Machine would take me back five minutes so I could redrink it again. 10/10, will come back for non-boba teas.Edit: This drink is apparently available only in this branch of Cha House. -_-
Maria Fadri: Scallion pancakes were very good, and I had the chicken and rice. I also had a bubble tea which was a nice treat. The seating area is cute, and this would be a fun date place or place for friends.
Annabelle Fajardo: This is my favorite place to get food and boba on Hillsborough St.! The atmosphere is nice, the employees are always so sweet, and the food and drinks are great. I recommend the green scallion pancakes with kimchi. :)
Arsalaan Khan: Everyone here is so nice, and the place has a great atmosphere. Prices are a little on the higher side but it is GOOD quality. The food is great for a boba place too, you can get a whole meal here and know it'll be good.

Brianna notae: Friend reccommended this spot, was very dissapointed by the sevrice the cashier knowingly put my order in wrong, and then cut me off before I had finished my order because she was more focused on moving the line. I have worked customer service my wife has as well we try to be kind and keep things moving. This cashier just seemed to not care. She even acknowledged what I had ordered but I think she was not sure how to put it in and chose the just give me my order incorrectly hoping I would not notice. She also got the size wrong on my drink order.
Veena Choudary: A wonderful experience. Very conveniently located by Dan Allen parking ramp as well as another public parking lot adjacent to the main building. The staff are very friendly and informative. There are plenty of drinks to choose from. The food is very, very good. The scallion pancakes were very tasty. The garlic Parmesan fries were the perfect combination of crunchy and creamy potato. The Thai chicken was bursting with flavor.Highly recommend! :)

lpsddtuff: It was cute but the RoseWater Limeade tasted bad and tasted like a melted candy perfume :/
Alyssa Nixon: The tea is good and the atmosphere’s nice, but don’t order any meat.
Deborah: Worst boba we've ever had, never coming back. All 4 drinks we got tasted like water with a drop of flavor. No wonder they have sugar packets near the straws because there was no flavor to this "boba". We also got the popcorn chicken and it was dry as hell. Who uses chicken breast for popcorn chicken??? NOBODY.Since we were getting our items togo, we didn't give tip and I'M SO GLAD WE DIDN'T. The cashier made sure diligently review the reciept to see whether we tipped her or not and when she saw, she just threw the reciept in front of us. She then made sure to hand out our orders one drink by one and made us wait 20 minutes for a snack size popcorn chicken. We regretted going to this place and wish we had tried out the Mulan boba shop just two doors down. I'm sure we would have had a better experience. Negative stars for this place.
Laura Wood: This place is amazing. The food is great, the tea is great, and the customer service is fantastic. The only thing I’ll say is, the first time I got the adobo chicken bowl it came with broccoli and an egg but the second time I got it, it didn’t. I don’t know if they were out of those or what but the chicken was still amazing. I highly recommend the adobo chicken, the taro tea, and the earl grey tea. The prices are also great compared to other local boba places and restaurants.
Lou: The best Boba hands down! The ingredients are fresh and you can taste the quality. Been to many other locations in the area and Cha House is #1. Favorite is Purple Taro Boba Tea.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
