Sushi Little Tokyo Restaurant: what do users think?
Isabella Geyer: Writing this review as I sit in my car after just eating. The food was amazing and the service was great👍 First time eating here and I would definitely do it again!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Miso Soup …More
Himani Vejandla: Don’t walk into this little gem expecting a high scale ambiance. This is my second review for them and I’ll continue to leave reviews for them because of the great experiences every time I walk in. Love their Sushi, miso soup, age dashi tofu and Ramen. Food comes in a lickety-split, always amazingly consistent. Go try them, promise you won’t be disappointed!Vegetarian options: Great Vegan and vegetarian options
Hilda Blanco: This place is such a hidden gem! Every time the sushi is great and the service is even better. We usually order take out, but have ate inside and it’s very cozy in there. Definitely worth a visit!Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Jonathan Wills: Don't let the run down exterior of this restaurant fool you. The food is delicious and sushi among the best I have had.We enjoyed a buy one, get one sushi meal and chicken katThe staff were kind and you could tell this is a family owned restaurant, really added a warmth to the experienceThe sushi was layered perfectly, no flavors dominated. It was very fresh and the day after I am still daydreaming about the flavor of the sweet dragon roll. I can't recall the name of my other roll but it was a fried roll with a really nice warmth throughoutOur chicken katsu was mild, crunchy and easy on our stomachs, good portion for cost. My wife thought maybe a little too mild but i think I have her spoiled on my own curry spiced chicken katsu .It was very yummy and I enjoyed the traditional sauce on it. Everything had a warm, gentle and home cooked vibe to it, like if you had a Japanese cousin and they invited you to dinner.I will be back, thanks for the memorable meal :)
Josh Rife: This place used to be the spot. We'd order there anytime, not a bad option to be had. They changed ownership and we've tried several times since then. It was okay for a while, a bit hit and miss on order accuracy. Now, however, it's fallen off. In one order, the udon was overcooked, broth was way too salty, the sushi rice was hard and stale, and the fish was flavorless, across multiple rolls. They're still charging prices like they're the sushi spot to go to, bit quality has taken a massive nosedive.Sucks, we patroned here for about 8 years consistently. Now it isn't worth even half of what it costs.
Holton Ramoin: The food was decent and the service was great!

NSA: March Update;place has new owners and quality has gone down with price increases. will miss u lil tokyoHad a great meal and time at sushi little Tokyo.currently they allow indoor seatingwhen we walked in they informed us that the sushi is not available for ordering as they had a back log, and we were fine having other food so we sat downwe ordered some of the best takoyaki we ever had, udon ramen and katsu donservice was a bit slow, but they tried making up for that and offering us a generous portion of sakedefinitely will come back for more.edit..came back for more and got some sushi this time !! good foodtasty and a bit slow just cause they were already back ordered in online orders even tho they had just opened !
Shakendra Kirby: If I could give them 0 stars I would. They have the worst customer service and real racist. Would never eat there !!!!!
H. C.: Great food and great service. Enjoyed the ramen and atmosphere.
Ads J: Like sooo mid.
Michael Luongo: Food so horrible I had to post a review. I used to order from this establishment frequently, however lately the food has gone downhill fast. Food being delivered cold, portion sizes smaller, dressings runny and you can tell the fryer grease hasn't been changed based on how the food comes out and looks. Will not be ordering from here again.
Harold Ellis: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Sushi Boat for ThreeMore

Serena Simpson: My husband and I were really excited to try the place based on reviews but unfortunately the food was really lack luster. We didn’t enjoy our entrees and we didn’t really eat them. Now I’m at home sick and throwing up. It could be unrelated but either way very confused about all the good reviews..

Emily Jimenez: Everyone who works here is so lovely and sweet. It’s a relatively small place that’s in an unassuming plaza and yet- it’s some of the best Japanese food I’ve had stateside. So glad we found this restaurant. We’ve come back time and time again. We’ve tried so many different things and everything is perfect. Apps, platters, sushi, dessert- you just can’t lose.

Kazuyoshi Hotta: 何回か行きましたが、味やご飯の炊き加減にばらつきが無く安定して美味しいです。

Sally Truong: I like sushi here especially raw fish sushi. Fishes are so fresh and tasty. But for the udon with shrimp or fried stuff, it is better off to request them put outside, instead of inside the bowl since it will become soft and bad when put inside.

We had such a great experience. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Can wait to return and try other items on their extensive menu.

Genki Restaurant & Sushi Bar: what do users think?
RK The Trash Artist: Despite the mixed and low reviews, my experience at Genki's was a pleasant one. Our waitress was very sweet and accomdating during our visit from start to end.As for the food, it was honestly delicious!
Cherese Boyd: Customer service is nonexistent. I ordered curbside and there was a selection for extra white sauce I selected that option. No where did it state that the extra white sauce would be a substitution for the ginger sauce. When I inquired about my missing ginger sauce, the lady immediately said it’s gonna cost extra, which is not a problem but the way that she made it seem was that because I chose extra white sauce, I should have known that I would not get the ginger sauce. There is a way to get the information across without being rude. I mean it was only $.82, and if I asked for it, I must be able to afford it. Then she came out with the bill for the sauce, but with no sauce to ensure that I paid the amount first otherwise I would not get the 2 ounce cup of sauce. How insulting
Andrea Wilson: Mixed review. I loved my fillet mignon hibatchi entree. My husband disliked his flounder entree, he said it was very plain and the fish was mushy. See photos. Miso soup and salad were good.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Miso Soup …More

Joshua Silverstein: Very friendly service during my lunch visit. The young lady let me know that they were doing last call, but made no effort to rush me in anyway. The sushi was delicious, and came with a cup of soup that was great too! Nice decor and ambiance in restaurant. Thanks for the great service and food!Recommended dishes Miso Soup, California Roll, Sashimi …More
Bethany Prentice: Maybe its because I haven't had sushi since before the pandemic but this place was an awesome find for the area. Fresh, tender sushi that held up its shape when grabbed with chopsticks. Good variety of both rolls and nigiri/sashimi. Service was amazing despite me being a lone party of one. Attentive, knowledgeable server who seemed to genuinely care about my wellbeing after slamming multiple of the best priced sapporo I've found in the triangle. Hot sake was a cool touch thats hard to find elsewhere. Resevervations dont seem necessary, but might be a good plan past 6pm. 10/10, would spend my severance check here again.
Shinya A: I mostly order sashimi when I come here because it's very good and fresh. Sometimes I will go for the hibachi and that doesn't disappoint either. Service is good and its located in a plaza with plenty of parking.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Shawn Cockerham: Best sushi and best service in the area!
Surya Bhatt: The Sushi was made with extremely stale fishes. The rice also was hardened. Avoid this location for any dining options. The Sushi sampler was a ripoff for a stale California role coupled with one piece of Salmon and tuna sashimi each.
Debbie Smith: I had the hibachi steak & shrimp. It's delicious! It's a small restaurant. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I enjoy dining here.

Yuri Japanese Restaurant: what do users think?
Silvia Sanchez: Average food. Terrible service, I saw people walking out. They don’t want anybody business. Spent $50 on a take out for a pork plate and 2 rolls. They said South and north roll comes with 4 pieces of sushi after I went inside to ask them if that was right. 4 pieces of sushi for $10. I know it’s not true they just didn’t like that I asked if it was going to be too long after waiting for 40 minutes for a takeout.Everyone you ask will tell you that they’re mean and their service is terrible. I bothered to give them a chance.Just go to sushi nine. Bomb food, great service and Bogo everyday. Even without the bogo their prices are very fair for what you get.
RK: My husband and I went here for our date night. It was wonderful. We got seated very fast, waitress was super nice, food was very good with a beautiful presentation. We also loved the menu. We love to see pics of the food that we are planning to order. We had an amazing experience. Will definitely be back👍👍👍.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jonathan Jones: A little more expensive than most places (about $30-35 a person), but the food is always the same great quality. All the sushi is well made, and the chicken katsu is so crispy and perfect 🤤 Almost never busy when I've been, and there's a lot of good looking decorations and smooth jazz playing.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Katsu …More

Scott Crawford: Went here for lunch on a weekday on a whim. Almost everything we had was EXCELLENT! The miso soup was great, my spicy pork bulgogi bowl was awesome, and my wife's sushi rolls were top tier! Also the pot stickers we had for an appetizer were delicious! All the food was very fresh tasting as well! The only downside was the teriyaki sauce which left something to be desired.

caimiao liu: Good vibe. Remember I got cute turtle look sushi that was pretty good
Debra Penne: Cute place. Staff is friendly, but the sushi is made with skimpy portions of fish. The chicken used to make the chicken entree had a weird rubbery texture. Not sure we will go back there.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
SANGITA GUPTA: Awesome ambiance and good food
Joseph Hsu: Having moved here from California, I’ve been searching for a “proper” California roll until now. (Crab filling should be shredded with mayo, not just a full crab stick). I know it’s a small thing but it’s a big difference for us. And we finally found it at Yuri!Rolls are good, fish are fresh. I love that it also has izakaya dishes. We always make it a point to come here if were in Cary.Service is nice but can be slow. Also was not impressed with their udon.

Kabuki Japanese Steak House & Sushi: what do users think?
Megan Polzin: I ordered the 5oz filet instead of the 10oz, and our waiter said that it was “understandable” that I was “on a diet.” It was hurtful and humiliating and it ruined the evening. I understand jokes and humor, but someone’s weight, appetite, or how much they eat should never be the subject of a joke.Service: 1/5 …More
朱世良: Pricey, but worth it occasionally.Vegetarian options: One vegetable entree, along with some appetizers.Kid-friendliness: The kids in our party were welcomed by staff and the atmosphere was rather noisy on its own.Parking: Entire lot available for restaurant use as other businesses closed for the evening.Wheelchair accessibility: Level entrance.
Mounica Boggala: Went with family for my birthday dinner and the service was horrible. There was an entire piece of blue paper in my mom’s salad and all they did was apologize and say they will bring her another one, but never even did. The food was good but as soon as we all started eating as the chef was done cooking, one of the other servers brought out to-go boxes and plastic bags when we weren’t even close to finishing our food, and was asking us to grab them as we had food in our mouth.
Mallik Boggala: They mixed us with other family who eats meat, and when I asked them to move us to a different table they declined. Food is bad, it doesn't have any flavor.Food: 2/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5Recommended dishes Hibachi Chicken …More

Melanie Lynch: Couldn’t get into Kanki for Fathers Day so we tried Kabuki and were VERY pleased! The service was great, our chef was hilarious and entertaining, and we were sat + served quickly. Only place for improvement was the quality of the food and beverage. I had the shrimp hibachi, which was good quality, but the noodles, oil, sauces, salad dressing, soup and dirty martini tasted like they were bought in bulk, if that makes sense…. Just not as good as I’ve tasted at other hibachi restaurants. I would still go back here over and over again.

At 9pm they told us we would have to wait for another 30 minutes to an hour for our chef to arrive. Their offer to make it up to us was a free appetizer. A free effing appetizer. All parties at our table left and ate at The Shiny Diner around the corner. Tip: if it’s teppanyaki you want, drive to Greensboro and eat at Benihanas.
Brian Boore: Food was delicious, cooked perfectly, and prepared super fast. Prices were a tad on the higher side but the food quality was worth it. Highly recommend.
Tbird 66: Food and company were great. Plenty of food. Table chef was great entertainment.Wheelchair accessibility: They seem to me to be ADA compliant, but no longer an expert, just had to consider it in the past.

StarCatcher “StarCatcher” IM: This is some of the best ramen I have ever tasted! Besides that, the restaurant is super clean with an awesome vibe. They have seating indoors and out. Their staff is amazing - mixing friendliness with professionalism. It doesn't hurt that they have a Kung Fu Tea next door 😜Update: is it possible they've gotten better??!! The shoyu bowl was super delicious too. Some of the best ramen I’ve had in a long time!! Will become a very frequent place to grab some quick food. Got the ramen within like 5 min of ordering.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly - but if you have loud/mobile children please keep them under control. Nobody wants to hear your children run around while they eat.Parking: Next to a grocery store, so tons of parking space. Lauren Demberg: I seriously think this ramen is the best in the Triangle! I have celiac's so there are not that many GF options, but the curry chicken ramen with rice noodles is so amazing. I've eaten here several times and have felt fine each time, but last night I got my regular order and I was super gluten sick almost immediately. Not sure if there was cross contamination in the kitchen last night. I'm disappointed and not sure if I would order from here again, but I do recommend the delicious ramen if you are not GF!

MC Restaurant: what do users think?
Harlan Stafford: Dining on the front lawn as the evening and its light breeze enveloped us was a delightful treat, a bow on the gift of dinner. The menu is largely sushi but accommodates other tastes, too. In all, our table of 4 had 6 different dishes, each perfectly prepared, plated and served. The peanut butter dessert dish is as good a reason as any to return.Great wine list, parking on site limited but adequate, beautifully landscaped yard with its own little bunny.
Marina Mochkina: One word: overrated. The ambience is very pretentious along with ridiculously overpriced food. Don’t mind paying top dollar but not if the food is average and waiters have an attitude. Won’t be back, to say the least.
Michael J. Reilly III: Absolute perfection. We had Oscar as our server. He was so nice and was very spot on. As was the bus boy , he asked and was genuinely concerned about our experience there as well. Both were very engaging. The Lobster Roll app and the Wagu beef skillet were delicious. The pork meatball/ noodle bowl & the surf & and turf plate were sublime. My filet I could cut w my fork, melted in my mouth. Cocktails were nice, and the overall vibe made for an incredible birthday celebration. Certainly returning.
Shinya A: The dinner we had here was delicious. The menu can be pricey but I do believe you are getting what you pay for. Their dessert selection is good. This is not a place to bring children because it is a more of a fine dining and business class feel restaurant. It has a romantic ambiance of dim lighting and decor. I highly recommend this place for a birthday, celebration, anniversary, or date night.

Vitaliy Levit: I'm rather flabbergasted to find MC Modern boasting such a high rating among food enthusiasts. My recent visit, an occasion to celebrate my mother's special day, left me with a bitter taste - metaphorically, of course. The cuisine, hospitality, and general atmosphere left much to be desired. My family and I made an early entrance just as the doors opened, and despite the vacant dining area, our server took an alarmingly lengthy time to acknowledge our presence. His demeanor lacked the cheer one would expect from a person in his profession. Our interactions with him were unfortunately characterized by us beckoning for his attention to accommodate our most basic requests - be it placing our orders for starters, drinks, clearing our table, refilling our water glasses, or even providing new chopsticks after he mistakenly cleared away the ones we were using. Our server's knowledge regarding the restaurant's sake offerings was equally disappointing - he was unaware and unable to articulate the available options. His lack of attention was all the more puzzling given our table was one of the few he had to attend to.Then arrived the food, and I must admit, I was taken aback. The Caesar salad was laced with wasabi, a combination that unfortunately did not appeal to our palates. Additionally, its presentation was unappetizing - a massive slab that required further cutting. This, combined with poor dressing, compromised the salad's flavor profile. The edamame, although consumable, was overcooked, falling short of the standard you'd expect from a grocery store like Trader Joe's.The coconut shrimp dish, though aesthetically pleasing at first sight, was a letdown as we discovered that the actual shrimp were minuscule, engulfed in a thick layer of undercooked tempura batter and doused in an overpoweringly spicy sauce. The wagyu sushi was, in a word, uninspiring. Overcooked and devoid of flavor, it bore no resemblance to the wagyu we're accustomed to.Their Otoro tuna belly, which boasts being the priciest sushi on the menu, was the biggest letdown. Sliced incorrectly, this normally tender cut was chewy and hard, with a considerable piece of tough fat still attached. Our Chirashi dish was conspicuously absent until our forgetful waiter was reminded of its omission. When it did arrive, the presentation was disappointing. It seemed hastily assembled - scraps of fish strewn atop the rice, missing the essence of what a Chirashi should be. However, it was the taste that truly left a bitter impression - the fish tasted distressingly stale, akin to being left out for days.I had to send it back to the kitchen, after which a person who appeared to be a front-of-house manager approached, offering me an alternative without a word of apology or even making eye contact. For MC Modern to be considered for a future visit, a significant overhaul is necessary, both in the culinary team and the front-of-house management. As it stands, I feel compelled to dissuade potential patrons from visiting until necessary improvements are made.
Tiffany Bair: One of my favorite restaurants. The food is amazing and never boring. I’d give them 10 stars if they’d bring back my favorite warm gooey chocolate center dessert 🤷🏼‍♀️
Derek Mahlitz: Awesome dinner at this awesome restaurant in downtown Cary. Had free 🍷 testing included and that was a nice bonus. Shannon Stiles: Went for a solo dinner and had a wonderful experience. Great atmosphere and vibe in a renovated historic home in downtown Cary. Service and management are excellent, pleasant, and attentive without being intrusive. Oscar was amazing! The Ceasar Salad was delicious, the Wasabi-based dressing had the right amount of kick to not make it overpowering. I had the Beaufort Swordfish and Shrimp which was cooked to perfection. Don't skip dessert, the Molten Chocolate Cake was epic. Everything on the menu is locally sourced and the menu changes every Thursday. I would recommend making a reservation as they have limited seating. This hidden gem is a must if you're a local or in town for business!
Justin Monroe: Mc Restaurant was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. Menu changes based on locally sourced food. The Beaufort swordfish and shrimp was cooked to perfection. The almondine sauce was a perfect compliment to the swordfish. The Caesar with Wasabi dressing had just enough kick to make it a great starter. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone in the area.
Jeff B: Recently went here expecting a great dinner and service. We had several items and only one was great. The others were fair. The service was lacking and disappointing for the cost of dinner.
DrwedThinks: The place looks nice and the service were good, however when comes to the food is not what I expect. I expected good food because their food are expensive, however their food are not good at all. I ordered saigon noodles, Ravioli, and crab cake the food feels like they are bought or cotsco from Walmart, I expect something better for the price. At least the sushi was ok. I am not coming back.

Brittany Pleasant: I love this local Cary spot so much! Everything is always really fresh. My favorite thing to add on top of any soup is the fried wonton skins (basically crispy noodles). They add the perfect texture to any soup you may get!I haven't had a bad dish here! If you're in the mood for a fast and hot meal, this is the spot for you! A very easy 5/5 stars! A must try!
goutham siddhu: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Noodle Boulevard in Cary, NC, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. This cozy little eatery offers a delightful selection of Asian cuisine, and their shoyu ramen and chicken curry ramen were absolute highlights! The shoyu ramen at Noodle Boulevard is a flavor explosion. The savory broth is rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. The noodles have a delightful chewiness, and the toppings, including tender slices of pork, bamboo shoots, and green onions, add an extra layer of deliciousness. Each spoonful of this comforting dish takes you on a culinary journey that will leave you craving for more. The chicken curry ramen was equally outstanding. The creamy curry broth had just the right amount of spice, and the tender chunks of chicken were cooked to perfection. The combination of the fragrant curry and the al dente noodles created a delightful fusion of flavors that left me completely satisfied.Apart from the outstanding ramen, Noodle Boulevard's ambiance is warm and inviting. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and happy to offer recommendations. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with a modern twist, creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere that enhances the dining experience.I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and the attention to detail at Noodle Boulevard. The prices were reasonable, considering the portion sizes and the level of culinary expertise involved. Whether you're a ramen aficionado or simply looking for a delicious and satisfying meal, this place is a must-visit.In conclusion, Noodle Boulevard in Cary, NC, offers an authentic taste of Asia, with their shoyu ramen and chicken curry ramen stealing the show. The flavors are bold, the portions are generous, and the staff is friendly. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by and indulging in their delectable dishes. You won't be disappointed!
Daniel Devine: One of our favorite restaurants and a very cool atmosphere. I get a kick out of the waitresses and the regulars at this place. It's just different in a very cool way.Nearly everything on the menu is excellent. My only complaint is they dont have enough room for the demand--they need a bigger building. We have a big family with some younger kids so we need to get there at about 4:50, right before they open, if we want a table. But it's very worth it.
