Chad Turner: I've been here a year and a half. John manages the place and he's likable and helpful. The units are clean and basic and come with desks and chairs, just perfect for my needs. It's not uncommon to hear someone in an adjacent unit when they are on the phone because these are pretty small units, and insulation only goes so far. Fortunately, most tenants are working on their own and don't spend a whole lot of time on the phones. The location is fantastic.

We're doing a co-working option so we have desks, chairs, internet, etc... all covered as a part of our monthly costs. Plus, there is access to two really nice conference rooms for when we need to have a discussion where we aren't sitting in front of a computer.

Wrenn Smith: I would not recommend this place if you're seeking something simple for your startup or small business. The management staff of the entire place is very tough to deal with, no matter what you're looking to get help with, and you really get no amenities for the price. Cleaning is next to none, you take out your own trash, and the walls are extremely thin to the point where you can literally hear a conversation from a couple of suites down from you. Having visited several other shared office spaces in the immediate area, I would advise looking elsewhere based on over a year of experience in this environment.

Joseph Zhou: If you ever require temporary office space in Research Triangle Park, I have some hard-earned advice to share, dripping with frustration: steer clear of Spaces. Spaces, a UK entity and part of the IWG group, boasts "superior workspace solutions with a broad spectrum of locations"... It all sounds impressive until reality hits hard. I was a happy tenant at Regus for over a decade when Spaces swept in and took over in Cary, North Carolina, promising a new era. Initially, I was optimistic about a fresh start. But what followed was an unfolding nightmare. The simple pleasure of a complimentary hot coffee was abruptly replaced with Starbucks prices.Spaces' attempts at modernization resulted in severe oversights that have left me angry and disheartened. Neglecting to install a sufficient cooling system in the new server room exposed all tenants vital equipment to risk. Their supposed "upgrade" wiped out tenants' auto-payment data, swiftly followed by late fees and interest imposition. The catastrophe culminated with a prolonged office phone system failure. Despite their assurances of a quick fix, we've been left without a functioning office phone for over a month, even today, leading to a loss of vital business opportunities. All we received were insincere apologies and a shocking lack of accountability. If you're contemplating Spaces for your business needs, consider my frustrating and disheartening experience, and make a thoughtful decision.

The ensuing difficulty of paying our remaining final bill prompted me to write a review here.After three emails to billing went unresponded to, and we were passed to an automated billing service, we were sent to a separate "billing arm" which had no way to communicate about our original invoice with the Spaces team.To this day, they've sent us 5+ messages threatening to send our final bill to collections, and we still have yet to have had a real person respond to emails or calls.
Tyler Wendell: It was my first time in a co-working space. And it was a pleasant experience. Spaces had a very large and modern open area. The staff was very friendly as well as the other people that were there using the space. It was very clean and it had a lot of natural light. They had a lot of pricing options based on your commitment level, although the prices are not updated on the website. Not terribly far off but a little higher. The only downside to the space itself is the fact that you have to pay for the coffee, which is still cheaper than you would get at a coffee shop. It would also be nice if they had whiteboards in the open area for collaboration.

Kyle Hanlin: Office Evolution provides me with the type of workplace I need - extreme flexibility re: hours/access at a wonderfully affordable price and close to home. The shared workspace was always clean and low/no noise, unlike a coffeeshop or other co-working options that can be loud and distracting and thus do not provide a workplace environment suited to my needs. The staff is very kind and present, and the amenities like free coffee/tea, ice machine, filtered water, microwave, fridge, etc., all were kept stocked, clean and in perfect working order. I highly recommend Office Evolution!

David Shempert: The location is on the corner of Hwy 70 (Glenwood Road) & Creedmoor Rd right across from the Crabtree Valley Mall on Macy's side. They have some construction going next door so they had one of the entrances blocked from Glenwood Road. Traffic really sucks around this part of town and having that entrance blocked extended my commute by about 5 minutes just waiting on traffic to clear the signal and intersection to be able to enter the parking lot on the back side of the building. If you have a key-fob you can enter on the back-side across from Macy's if it's before or after hours.I love that the office takes up the whole 2nd floor of this building they have a nice big and warming lobby and have bathrooms in the actual office whereas other locations you have to exit the office and head to a hallway for bathrooms. They offer free coffee & tea (Flavia system), water (hot/cold) and a dedicated ice maker. This particular location has some free snacks as well.I am a visiting member of the co-working space but I found the co-working space at this location extremely lacking and annoying. They literally have placed the entire co-working area within the kitchen right beside the copier. Normally having others around doesn't bother me at all but it was super frustrating to listen to the copier running all morning, the microwave beeping, opening and closing etc. Other members use the co-working space as a lunch area and are not particularly respectful with regards to their noise level. I don't know who told you all that placing the co-working area immediately beside the kitchen and copier was a good idea but it really doesn't work well here.Internet access was a pain here. I arrived first thing in the morning before the rest of the office filled up and the speeds were acceptable (18Mbps X 18 Mbps) but around lunch speeds slowed to a crawl (around 3Mbps or less down). I wasn't able to use Remote Desktop without a significant lag. I ended up having to bust out my AT&T LTE router to just be able to work. VoIP calls struggled to complete and had latency issues. There are no accessible ethernet ports to use in their co-working area here. It has one larger shared high-top table with 6 chairs and two smaller high-top tables in the space. No actual real desks were available in the co-working space here. The biggest issue is the loud microwave beeper and people who seem to think the co-working area is a lunch room with no-one trying to work there. For the amount that is charged it's almost highway robbery to classify this space as a legitimate co-working space.This space apparently utilizes a motion sensor power management system for lighting in the rented offices and since all the offices are basically windows it was a day full of lights going on and off continuously. I'd hope you consider altering the timeout length of those lights it gets pretty annoying to have the lights turning on and off all day and I'm sure that the people renting those offices have similar frustrations.All in all I really wanted to enjoy this office but the logistics in having your entire co-working space enclosed in a small kitchen was a pretty bad decision.

People coming in and out making coffee, heating up their lunch, etc. I've been to co-working spaces in Laos and Cambodia that are 100% better situations. They really need to either stop advertising this or reassess how to offer a better coworking space. If this improves, please contact me.Nice staff and I'm sure the offices/conferences rooms are great—but, as is a strong trend among soloprenuers and lean startup owners such as myself—we're not interested in paying the equivalent of my apartment rent for tiny dedicated office. I realize how that may sound, but trust me this is the way things are large segment of your potential clientele is going.
