X Lee: Bad return experience- they said they couldn’t scan the barcode on my receipt and decided to give me a gift card. When I explained this was not refunding my money back to my credit card I was met with a vacant stare. I took the gift card because the employee seemed to not know what to do. She was at an auxiliary booth next to the Customer Service desk. The Customer Service woman did not seem interested in helping me so the woman who handles the self check out area tried. Customer Service needs to step it up. For the record this would NEVER happen at Costco or Sam’s Club.
James Woerner: We love BJs for a lot of items but word of caution don't get milk here. About half of every jug we have gotten is spoiled well before the sell by date. Skim, 1% and 2%.

Business AsUsual: I love BJs, one of my favorites along with Costco but today l purchased the pre cooked wings. They looked amazing. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST WINGS I CAN REMEMBER TRYING TO EAT. THEY WERE SO FATTY. DISGUSTINGLY FATTY. Usually if l buy it l will eat it regardless but l couldn't finish these. I was heart broken, surprised and hungry. Stay away from these wings.

Mark Harris: Took my truck to BJ's tire center for a tire rotation Sunday because it was included in my tire purchase. I only ever see one person working in the garage and never see any tires being rotated so I marked both rear rims with a black permanent marker. We I received my truck back both rear rims were still in the same location. I showed the man working the desk and he assured me the work was done. I said if that's so how can you explain the rims still being on the back. He said I can't but you can request to look at the video. I've tried to call the main store to speak to the manager (no option for that). I sent a email to their site requesting they view the video and they thanked me but requested I work through the local BJ's. I've now rotated the tires myself and will not be returning to BJ's tire center. I just wanted to make others aware because I don't think my tires have ever been rotated since they were installed because the same man was working the garage both times I've taken the truck to have the tires rotated.

One item showed 17 in stock and another showed 13 in stock. They looked but could not find either one in the store. I am not sure what is happening but it seems like they have an inventory system issue.

Why not carve out the time to get out of your air conditioned homes, out of your air conditioned cars, and shop your orders as opposed to having someone else do it then proceed to have it brought out to your car, loaded to your trunk and you find it necessary to find reasons to complain about everything? Wow... Society got lazy and cruel during covid.Any store that offers the service of online ordering and pickup service curbside? Kiddos to you because the people that complain would never get out of their cars in the rain, snow or heat to get it themselves. Enjoy that air-conditioning..... I wonder. What did you all do before online an curbside was even an option for these stores.....You realize no one actually wants to do the job anymore because you are thankless enough to complain about pretty much everything. Just saying. A little gratitude goes a long way.And another thing.... If you cancel your cards; like credit cards.... The number can be recycled after x amount of time. You likely didn't cancel it like you thought you did and auto renewed. You seriously can't be charged for something you "cancelled years ago" out of the blue and one day down the line get charged again ...Just stop complaining and find a resolve. Jeez stop looking for drama where there is none to be had. Easy remedies do exist. Why you refuse to exercise that and turn to the internet is ridiculous

Johnny Decon: I love the store. Great and never full in the mornings,so it feels great shopping all by myself. I just want to point out this Black Big guy that’s works security check in the front. He’s so well mannered and everytime I come in he has the carts like in the picture. I really appreciate it , I have a bad back and my left arm is very weak. Trying to pull those cart’s apart takes a toll on me . Thank you so much big guy.

I love the coupons in the app and have saved tons of money in the 6 months we’ve been going here. Obviously isn’t as nice as Costco, but has been great in terms of convenience.

Said local HVAC company had no mention, and was not noted on contract that I signed that they're partnering with installations made easy. I paid the local HVAC company via a check in full. Two weeks later installations made easy billed me near $6,000 without having authorized permission to do so. I had not provided or given them any information, or told they're in any form apart of the sale. By the time I was informed of the company via my own research into where the charges came from- I get no call in return and or explanation and or refund upon calling them.No apology and or information of where and how they drafted almost $6,000 illegally from me.Beware of Big Box stores selling Home Improvements- as this company may be involved and bill you thousands of dollars that you've already paid to your local contractor.Billed via Installationa Made Easy- now doing business as The Home Service StoreRutland, VTBJ's I'm very disappointed in who you have hired/ partnered with, and are allowing their sales agents to walk around and sell services as they're not doing a great job at disclosing and or at all mentioning this third party involvement. I've had to close my checking account and report their fraudulent charges and this has caused a headache in my life.

Allie Manchester: Y'all. Y'ALL. Can we talk about the Optics section for a second? Because Julio is AWESOME. He was so compassionate about my broken glasses (even though they were just broken out of my sheer dumb brain energy) and super friendly. He was great about helping me find frames that were in my budget and could fit my lenses. I felt listened to, respected, and supported when I was going over what my lenses needed, and you could just tell his kindness was genuine instead of manufactured. You can tell he cares about his customers because of how sincere he was when he wished me the best of luck while I waited and how excited he sounded when he called me to let me know my new glasses came in. You can also tell he takes a lot of pride in his work and helping people get the best possible product by how excited he was when he said, "Look how thin we managed to get these down!" (I have an insanely high prescription and I've always had glasses that stuck out over the frames until now.) He did a great job adjusting the fit - I struggled with two different pairs that always fell off my face, but these ones have stayed on so well! I'm really happy with the product and the amazing service provided. Julio really went above and beyond. BJ's, get this guy a raise! As long as he sticks around, I'll be getting my glasses here from now on 😁

JG365: Their App leads a lot to be desired. I opened it and it immediately wanted to update, did that and then it defaults to Akron as my store, have to update my store location. Then it just hangs - wouldn't log me in. So I had to go in to the store. This wouldn't be a big deal but my wife had it set up so you pull up alert them through the app or a text link (no link this time) and they bring out your items.The people were friendly, though. They are the saving grace of BJs. The App and the other background IT services need to not push through an update that made it a useless exercise. Really frustrating experience. Feel free to contact me so I can give them some pointers - that should have never been updated. And fix the link so that a spouse can pick up the order through a text link. Its like y'all started from scratch and left out the really important features. Its not just a coupon-pushing outlet.

I listened politely, since I was pretty much trapped while waiting to do my return, and declined when he asked if he could sign me up. Rather than let it go, he proceeded to interrogate me as to why and where I was getting better rates, etc. I pay to shop here, I shouldn’t feel attacked. Then at the end of the return I was pressured by that employee to upgrade my membership. To top off my annoying experience, the ATT employee cornered me while shopping to harass me about my mobile service. I find myself annoyed every time I shop here.

For your membership fees you get ZERO working cashiers so you kindly use self checkout for last year, which cannot accommodate even half of shopping cart worth of items. Someone tho will definitely be there to check your receipt on exit. Coupons only work once on a single item unlike Costco or literally any other store and you must activate them, unlike any other store. Staff are unhappy and not much of a help. It's a paid membership club with experience worth than Walmart.

Joseph Cabosky: If you've not been, it's basically Costco, except not nearly as busy. We like Costco too, but BJs has all the benefits we need, but it's nice that it's never as insanely crowded. Their Gas Station is also easy to use - not as big of discounts as you want but that's because they're close to the airport. Like most warehouse stores, they have many name brand products, but also carry their own unique products and lines. We are big fans of many of the products exclusive to BJs, especially some of their foods. That said - the discounts aren't as good sometimes but are if you use their digital or print coupons where they add up fast. Really, no complaints.
Bradley Rhodes: Great store but bad management. Also, the parking lot is full of carts always and they won’t gather them. Signage in disrepair and litter omnipresent. They need new leadership.

Anita Berry: I bought a large TV that had been marked down in price. When I looked at the sales slip, I saw that BJ'S had charged sales tax for the full price. When I contacted the store about it, they said that this is standard practice there, and I could return the TV if I wanted to. It was only about $15, and the TV was already unpacked, so I let it go. To me, this is underhanded and dishonest. So be aware that BJ'S pricing can be deceptive.

Darry Perry: I have to agree with some of the other reviews I've read. Customer service here is terrible. I have been a bj's customer for several years, but I will no longer shop there. I had an issue with an online purchase return. It took them less than 24 hours to debit my credit card and almost two weeks later no refund. I finally had to get my credit card company involved for resolution. I did receive a follow up call from customer service in Garner. The person I talked to was not sincere and overall I gathered they could have cared less. That's okay. I have found the best way to protest is to stop giving money to businesses that are not people friendly. Sure, bj's will survive without my tiny paper cut of revenue. However, maybe one day enough paper cuts like myself will add up to a hemorrhaging of revenue that will force the company to straighten up. Time will tell.
Lucia Keeler: I pay for a bj’s membership to receive rude customer service by SHANIQUA people trying to sell home repairs and internet services while shopping and you cannot even use the self checkout without being asked to sign up for a bjs credit card or auto renewal. This has become an unpleasant experience and doesn’t seem worth it anymore. I can go shop at food lion and receive the same rude service without having to pay a memebership fee.

Niki G: I love BJ’s, but those sales people are harassing me every time I go in! I’m really tired of them. I wish BJ’s would get rid of them! I know bjs probably making money allowing them to fish around but I’m not sure if it’s worth it! I literally left much earlier without finishing my shopping because of them and just shopped elsewhere! The only reason I’m still a member because of the cheap gas and the clothes for my husband, and some bulk items. But I do not like going in anymore since they let those sales people roam around. I hate it! Can’t shop calmly anymore I’m trying to run through missing deals because I’m trying to avoid being asked the same questions every time about do I have Verizon or At&t? How about a bjs employee asking me if I’m finding everything alright instead??

London Simone: The time that I have spent as a recent member of Bj's wholesale club has been quite delightful! The staff are extremely amiable with helpful employees, and the customer service is top-notch. It is a well-stocked location, and every time I visit, I have a pleasant shopping experience. The store is consistently clean, and they have an abundance of free samples to try. Additionally, the lines are generally short. The products are of high quality for reasonable prices making it an ideal place to shop for almost everything you need.
Kann: There are almost no assisted check out lanes. They expect you to use self checkout or the app, which has a limit on how much/many items you can buy on the app. Considering not shopping there anymore. I don't do self checkout!!!!

Julie Buchanan: There's a new lady who checks the receipts at the exit and she is a peach (sarcasm). At first I thought she was only unhappy with me... But, after stopping in several times, it's not just me, she's apathetic to ALL customers. It's her demeanor. She is SO unhappy. No smile, no greeting, rolling of the eyes (she worked Sunday, 11/13 later in the afternoon) . She is always the last thing I remeber from my shopping experience and I honestly can't believe their HR would put her in front of customers. The previous, older lady was much nicer, slower, but at least she engaged and a good representation of the BJ's brand.

He found the number and told me abt the app. He not only had excellent customer service but he informed me of how to make each visit easy.It was pouring down rain when I left and the woman checking receipts told me which side had a cover and instructed me to pull up my car so I didn't get wet.I never had to ask for help or advice but was freely given it by two employees who obviously care. Great job to the staff and hiring manager!

I walk up to customer care to get a duplicate card and the associate ashley says all is good I go shopping and go to check out then the check out lady acting like she does not want to be there rolling her eyes at me continuously I am thinking I am being treated some kinda way because I am wearing a badge. I go to talk to customer care try to explain the situation and is told it is what it is. Poor poor customer service.

Ernest Cottier: Worst run Sam’s Club I have ever been to. Every interaction I had with employees was unprofessional and unhelpful.
t scar: I have some things that I buy from them. I also shop Walmart for other things. The main thing I enjoy is using their app at the fuel pumps. Very quick and easy. I can pull up at the same time as someone else. Whose not using the app, and I'm pumping my fuel by the time They're still searching for their cards and putting them in the card slot. I also like the option of being able to check out using my phone and skip the checkout line when it's busy.

ale villbs: The people at the food court are so unprofessional and rude. I asked for a whole pizza and the lady there was yelling asking me what do you want and I had to repeat myself Several times. Will not be going back there. Save yourself time and eat something else.

Dahlia Weaver: Today was my last day with sams club. I’m thankful my membership expires in June. Staff never answers the phone, the app half works and homeless people wander through the parking lot harassing people and staff refuses to do anything. I mainly do pickup due to these issues. Today, a homeless person was forcing himself into people’s cars by helping them with groceries or taking carts for them and asking/demanding money. I went to get gas and tried to call the desk and nobody would answer. I was telling a staff member (had a vest on working at the gas pumps) about what was happening and how it’s dangerous and he cut me off after weirdly getting close to me and towering over me (being extremely intimidating) and rudely said “why don’t you call the cops?” I ended up calling the police, but If the staff would contact police and trespass the homeless that continue to cause issues they wouldn’t have to hear about it. I’d rather drive an extra 10 minutes to Costco than continue to deal with rude staff and feeling unsafe every time I go there.

Danielle Hunt: This is the hood of Sam’s Clubs of Raleigh. Save your time and your energy. They are very disrespectful and don’t care what you came in for. There is barely anyone around to help and if you do go, then make sure you use scan and go. It’s the easiest thing about this place.
Anurata Hridi: Very accommodating staff. Can go up and beyond for customer satisfaction. Great option if you are buying in bulk.
Darian Lowndes: It was pouring rain. When I say pouring, I mean sideways rain. It was an awful storm. Thunder rolling, lightning crashing. We walked in the closest door we could see and immediately, before we can catch our breath. All employees start yelling at us in front of everyone, to leave and walk back into the crazy storm to walk 15 feet away through the “In” other door. This is the worst customer service ever. I was so embarrassed and humiliated. They were so unprofessional and even took a moment to argue amongst themselves on what the rule actually is. I won’t shop here anymore due to this. I will always recommend either bj’s or the Sam’s club down the street. Never this one.
