Chatham Hill Winery: what do users think?
Whitney Pettiford: Absolutely EXQUISITE experience! Nancy was a phenomenal bartender. I came on a Sunday with my sisters and cousin. There was no wait and we were provided a pleasant and relaxing tasting experience! We were able to bask in the ambiance and enjoy our tastings without being rushed. Lovely place! Delightful staff!Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …More
marie-jeanne brown: Had a wonderful time and the wine was FABULOUS!! Marty the owner was wonderful and even let us take pictures in front of the barrels!! It’s a must visit place take the time to stop and taste, smell the DELICIOUS wine!!
J.M. Wiley: Great little place to visit. My wife and I stopped by for a glass of wine there the other day when we were in the area. The wine was tasty, and the owner Marty was really friendly. She even gave us a taste of the Muscadine wine, which was actually quite good. Also Anthony who was pouring wine for everyone was super friendly also.
Janice Romig: Beyond disappointing! The nondescript bar tender never greeted us when we walked in or even lower herself to say hello once we sat down. Why would you ever have someone so inept on the front lines of any company? Not only was the service one of our worst experiences but the wine couldn’t even save our evening. Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc? At least explain that before you leave the room to pour a glass. The whole trip was a waste of our time! Not until we were paying the check and leaving did the wine server become interested in us with a sad display of false attention. Tip time, time for fake flirting. Thanks but no thanks.
Thomas Ellingwood: Nice place to grab a glass of wine on a Friday afternoon. Owners very friendly. Highly recommended. Live music setting up as we left and wish we had the time to stay longer
Roberto Lugo: Wine tasting is the way to go. It gives you a way in which you want to go. Unless you buy three, you tasted. My wife loved the peach, blackberry, and muskidine wines. Try them out.
Ashtyn Gammons: This place was amazing! Our server was so kind and very knowledgeable about the wines. He gave us a tour of the winery. The wine tasting was $25 and we got a complimentary glass. I will definitely be back here.
Renee McCoy: AMAZING experience! Had a blast on a Saturday night. The Apple and Peach are yummy!
Nikki Chavis: beautiful vineyard and great wine tasting... must visit here😃
Paul Hertrick: Very nice place to end a crazy week. Music, wine and some local brews to round out the evening. Owners and crowd very friendly. Do not miss this little gem!
Leslie Lyon: Chatham Hill Winery is a hidden treasure on Chapel Hill Road in Cary, offering entertainment on Friday nights and good wine and beer!
Candy Dietrick: We stopped by this adorable urban winery while in town for a few nights. It was cute, cozy and tastefully decorated. The wine was great. And Nancy was a total sweetheart. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. If you are in the area and looking for a good place to enjoy a glass, or bottle, of wine we definitely recommend stopping in here!
Akua Boakye: Great experience!.
Matt Kruskie: Enjoyed a lazy afternoon here with a great tasting, board and a bottle afterwards. Cozy tasting room with informative tour through their delicious wines.
ronald johnson: If you have the chance it's well worth it. The atmosphere and beauty of sitting in the middle of a functioning winery or just extrodenary the food us great, service is exceptional, and to have your choice of a variety of MO. Wines while listening to some great Jazz is just what we needed, we being my wife daughter and her fiancee. So try it I hope that you enjoy as much as we did.
Bretton Little: Took a date here for Valentine's Day for a tour and tasting and was one of the most informative experiences I've had concerning wine. The tour guide walked us methodically through the process of how the wine was made in terms of the oak barrels, fermentation vats, bottling, tanks, etc. They had us taste different wines and made sure to show us how to swirl the glass around, cleanse your palate with water, how to smell it properly, and how to get the full flavor and aroma out of it. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Parker Leatherman: Reasonable prices + friendly / attentive / knowledgeable staff. Very good - my wife and I will definitely be going back!
Steven Kuni: Great service from Julia! Good wine!
Jenny Williams: Really bad customer service. The employees are rude and plain not good at business. Our $45 charcuterie board had no cheese on it. I do not recommend this place.
G A: The staff were so unhelpful. My friends and I did not feel welcome. No explanation of wines. No explanation of house made $45 charcuterie board. Soggy crackers on board. All of the fruit wines are very sweet. Very very meh experience. I will not refer clients here. Very overpriced $25 price tag for wines that “taste like the fruit” per our server, and a really sad charcuterie board
Destinee Gonzalez: My friend and I had the peach/pomegranate wine which was good. However, we didn’t feel welcomed. Upon arrival we felt overwhelmed by our “greeting” which was the standard ID but then immediately asked what we wanted without being sat or a chance to look at the menu. Once we sat down and had our glass of wine we didn’t get checked up on once. My glass was empty for 10+ minutes before we had to get up and pay at the register then left. Meanwhile we watched other tables get served and checked in with. I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re minimum 30+ years old.**it wasn’t a matter of being short staffed. There was three tables to begin with (us being one) and a few people at the bar. They had one person working bar and one working tables. Which is why I said we watched the other two tables get service, but not us. Even more disappointed by the response given for the “reason” it was a lack of service.

Chatham Street Wine Market: what do users think?
Richard Grablin: Located in the downtown Cary area walking distance to other attractions and restaurants, this local and small wine store has a variety of wine to choose from, many not seen in other stores. Service staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. Seating area inside and out, both cozy so it could get crowded. Parking is the same way.
Lance Shrader: Great little wine shop. Good outdoor area for casual sitting.
Mimi Glenn: Love this place - great selection of wines and love their seating areas - inside and outside - where you can share a bottle with friends!
Bill Wimer: Great selection and super cozy spot in the back to share a bottle of wine and have a great conversation.
Katherine B: Cute little wine shop in the heart of Cary!
Christine P: Kelly is incredibly knowledge and always helps us make great wine selections. The service, atmosphere, choice of rotating wines by the glass and bottles in stock, and the discount for buying more wine and/or beer in a single purchase make this a shop we love to frequent.
Jill Hopkins: Cute place. The staff was too busy with the one couple doing a tasting at the bar to say hello. I had stopped in to hopefully get a bunch of wine to take home to the empty wine fridge and maybe sample a wine or two. Instead I wandered around looking at the wines and walked out empty handed. It’s not hard to say hello when the door opens and the bell rings!!!
Mileena Beatty: The woman working was so nice and still had a positive attitude even though she randomly got slammed with people. (This was during the lazy days festival.)
Robert Campbell: This remains our favorite all-things-wine destination in Downtown Cary! Great wine shop with something for everyone. There is almost always something to taste, and I find the staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Bring your food and enjoy a nice glass of wine tonight!
Richard: Another beautiful night sharing a bottle or two of wine with friends!
Mark Knapp: Love my local wine shop. They're always knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I've never had a bad bottle of wine, and their stock is always a step above any grocery store options. Plus they have a great atmosphere to chill and enjoy a glass or bottle in the shop.
Andrew: Great wine parking and seating
Michele Durst: Cute quaint wine shop to enjoy a glass or buy to go. Inside and outside seating
ivana susic: Really cute wine shop! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Good selection at every price point. The back patio is great, too.
Meghan Reid: Great selection and staff is kind and happy to answer questions. Loved the outdoor seating.
brady k: Enjoy the location, knowledgeable staff, great to pop in while downtown, after work and the courtyard is a nice touch. However, the recent addition of a $6 corkage fee on my $16.00 bottle seemed a bit excessive and has me reconsidering this location for after work or spontaneous fun with friends and coworkers.
Jay Horowitz: A quaint, friendly wine market always willing to help you find an affordable bottle than meets your personal taste. Comfortable indoor and outdoor areas to enjoy a glass before committing to a bottle to take home.
Tirsh: First experience was definitely 5 stars. Awesome selection and super friendly environment! I will be back!
Autumn Vandy: If I could give this place a 100 stars I would. Just wow! As soon as my husband and I walked though those doors we felt very comfortable and welcomed. Meredith was overall polite, very professional and she really knew her stuff about wine. We ended up leaving with 2 bottle of wine. And the prices were extremely affordable. I will no longer buy my wine any where else. We have officially became regular customers .
susanne sprague: Fabulous nook under the canopy of trees.

Cloer Family Vineyards: what do users think?
Tyler Pake: Cloer Family Venyards is a gem! This was our second time going. They are welcoming and friendly. They have a beautiful property with lots of great outside seating in the shade under umbrellas or trees. The have a swing set and slide for kids that our son enjoys. The wine is really good and the bottles are well priced. The wine slushy was delicious treat as well. They also have kids snack boxes, cheese and crackers, and they allow outside food.
Nikki Crain: Wonderful venue and the staff is incredible. Wine is enjoyable. Great place to sit enjoy wine and bring your shareables
Seung Jun Shin (4가족의 평범한 일상): 와인이 아주 맛있습니다. 가족들끼리 피크닉 온 것 같아서 아주 좋았습니다. 테이블과 의자가 준비되어 있어서 더욱 좋았습니다.
Christine Price: Four stars for the gorgeous setting and wonderfully cheerful and enthusiastic staff! But, alas, the wines were not my taste, and I feel that this winery is catering to a palate that is perhaps more used to muscadine and locally grown grapes.
Naman Goel: Really fun experience. It was my first time going for a wine tasting, and this felt like the perfect place for that. It's a small family run vineyard and has a good collection of wines for someone like me who's starting new to the world of wine. They also had a great collection of cheese to accompany the wine. Wonderful experience overall!!
Daryl Kirby: Beautiful vineyard and outdoor seating. Great wine also!
Andrew Muehlfeld: Bring your kids! We brought our 4 and 6 year old. They have the perfect setup. An outdoor seating area looks over a thin forest with a fence 40 yards out, with horses on the other side of the fence. So you get to sip on wine while the kids play in the fenced-in forest (you can see everywhere from your chair). They also have affordable “kids boxes”, which include a capri sun, a granola bar, goldfish, fruit snacks, crayons, and coloring pages. What more could you ask for? Sheep and a swing set, which they also have. They also have food. Cheese, cheese spread, crackers, salami, and nuts. And many varieties of each. So you can have a whole meal if you want, or a light snack. What a gem.
Abby Baker: Fantastic winery with stunning farm views and vibes. The wine was pretty good, I enjoyed both the Veranda and the Mattador. Loads of seating and you can bring your own snacks or purchase there. Definitely check out this gem!
Olga Bugovskaya: Nice place and good wine and have some snacks
Devin Williams: A return trip is definitely warranted.
April Williams: Happened to see this Winery on our way home. This is the only Winery in the Cary area. You can do a flight wine tasting of their 5 wines for $6. You can also buy by the glass or bottle. They also sell a selection of Meara, cheeses and crackers to enjoy with your wine. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Most of their seating is outside. Their outside seating is arranged really well to afford a modicum of privacy. Multiple areas divided by terracing and bushes. The bathrooms are located inside the building. They have 2 public restrooms. They are open on Saturday and Sundays. Womderful place to spend a couple of hours. They grow the Muscatine grapes on site and because of our climate they purchase their other grapes from other areas of NC primarily.
Nik Kei: Nice place to spend a quiet afternoon.Service was wonderful.Outdoor only.
Dianna Tonetti: What a wonderful afternoon. Awesome hospitality, great cheese and salami with wonderful wine.
Laura Collins: My dog and I had to leave my apartment for a few hours so they could do some maintenance. We found this vineyard and it was lovely! We enjoyed some charcuterie and the scenery. The wine was great as well! We will definitely be returning :)
Rick Lindstedt: Staff is friendly. Sitting areas are clean and nice.Excellent experience and a great place to hang out with Family and friends.
Sandy O: Visited Cloer Vineyard, it has a lovely setting with lots of patios to enjoy, great wines at reasonable prices, and gluten-free snacks.
Leonard Farrell: Stopped here will visiting the area. Nice cozy fully winery with friendly staff and plenty of outdoor seating. Tastings included 5 wines for $6. We enjoyed the wines along with some cheese and crackers. The wines were all good.
Maxx Miller: Great wine and views...the staff was really nice and i couldnt have asked for any better of a time
Fred Decker: Great Atmosphere, interesting and good tasting wines, and a wonderful family operation. They also own a landscaping business, so they layout could be a nice wedding venue or the ultimate yard for entertaining. It makes a great date afternoon.
Sandra Edens: Beautiful surroundings, friendly owners, very clean and well maintained property. It's a perfect venue for a celebration!
Heather Piper: Hidden Gem! Quaint little winery in Cary that's great for friends and family to gather.

Apex Fine Wine: what do users think?
Mark Steele: It is upstairs behind McGregor Drafthouse. Once you find it you will love it
David W: Lingua Franca is our favorite of the two. Tom was great to work with and very patient with me. It is nice to have a connection like Tom to make recommendations. My wife and I are both Pinot Noir fans. We plan to make additional purchases with Tom.
A F: Cool place. Like having a local Chambers Street Wines. Tom is a fantastic resource for eclectic wines.
Frederic Simard: Tom takes the guesswork out of wine selection and puts the pleasure in discovering excellent wines!
Blair Tanner: Apex Fine Wine has changed its name to Apex Wine Solutions. This company has, by far, the widest selection of high quality to ultra-premium wines in the Triangle. Ordering is done online; wine can be obtained by arranged pickup or delivery. The store is co-owned by both wine buying experts and a master sommelier. I have been buying wines from one of the owners for over 10 years with nothing but delightful results. They are not snobby and both owners eagerly share their knowledge, advice and recommendations. I have never had a disappointing experience here. They are located on the second floor of the shops in McGregor Village. Call before going, as all in-store purchases and deliveries are by appointment. I forgot to mention: the prices are spectacular.
William J: Working with Tom was great, far better than any other local wine shop I have encountered in the RTP area. He was professional, knowledgeable, and importantly a really nice guy.
Andrew Dodd: Great wine, great selection and service
Elmo Goss: Great knowledge.
Morgan J Cooley: They know their stuff
Anne Moorer: It's quite a rare find: a well-stocked store with a team of friendly, customer-focused, unpretentious wine enthusiasts who are eager to get you what you want, without judgement, and not push upon you to what they need to sell. I had a unique experience there during a tasting and ended up buying a case in the end, all because of the exemplary service, obvious expertise, and customized attention to detail. I truly felt like I was the only customer they had or cared about, even though I know they are well known for their uncanny ability to source prized and elusive bottles from all over the world for their wide range of elite and next door clients, alike. I would recommend this store and its team to anyone looking to learn more about this industry and its products - their passion and dedication to you as a patron is simply unparalleled in the market. Well worth the trip and experience!
Tyler Staverman: Great selection and staff
Robert Blevins: Always have what I want
Levon Martin: Outstanding small wine store. They specialize in smaller wineries from around the world. They do a lot of mail order business.
Jennifer Bunn: Eric is the best! Bring your wine needs here.
Ashley Gaudino: Eric and Zack are professional, knowledgable and accommodating. We purchased a case (two half cases) of wines for our wedding at the Mayton Inn. Eric helped us select the wines we ordered from him - and gave us advice on wines we purchased elsewhere! Zack went as far as to take ALL of the wine we provided the day prior, stored it properly (chilled the whites,) and made sure the bars were well stocked throughout the wedding. Zack and Eric also host tastings and event at the Mayton; we highly recommend this company for all of your wine needs.
Elizabeth Baldwin: What a gem! Eric and Travis are fantastic, and the wine selection is truly fabulous. Small producers from all over the world. They have a really interesting collection, many types of wine not available anywhere else in the area. I learn something new every time I go in, and always walk out with something delicious!
Art Swanson: Eric is fantastic and has an incredible selection of wines at a great value. The staff will work with you and your preferences and can introduce you to new wines and regions. Highly recommended!
Laura Baker Campbell: Best wine store in Apex. I've been a regular customer for years, and they know my tastes. Based on that, they always point out new varieties they know I'll like. Five stars.
Dave Allison: Probably the premier place to get high end wine and advice in the area. Do they have 25,000 wines, no! but with only one or two people working, you get top notch advice (not some shelf stocker). Their tasting room - Barley & Vine - is a small intimate place to sit with a friend and relax over a wine or beer. Get on their emailing list for free tastings times.

Great Grapes: what do users think?
Matthew Orlemanski: Nestled over in the soapbox village is one of the greatest wine stores in Cary! Great selection of wine, craft beers and more!
Luke: My go-to and only wine store - everyone here is extremely helpful, knowledgable, give great recommendations, and are joys to talk to. All the wine here is well curated and well priced!
Tim Knight: I have been coming to the store for years. Even when I have not been to the store for a period of time, they make me feel welcome like a long lost friend. Helpful on questions and knowledgeable. Always good sales going on and special tasting events. Recommend to all levels of wine drinkers.
Christine P: Gene and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The selection is great.
Ray Brown: We orderd a special bottle of champagne from these guys for our neice's 50th birthday celebrations. Its not often you get outstanding service but we need to give a huge shout out to Gene and the team for not only delivering but beautifully packaging the gift. Thank you all for your amazing service and style.
Kostyantyn Hrytsenko: Good selection. Tried to order from Ukraine for my friend in US. Though I had some miscommunication. Hope it will be better next time.
Tom C: Great selection. A staff that knows wine..
Brian Whitfield: Great store owner is super cool. They have a great selection of wine and craft beers as well
Dianne VanBeber: Amazing selection of champagne for this part of the country. Also great customer service.
Joe Donahue: Good local wine shop with a knowledgable and friendly staff. I like to try different lower to mid price wines beyond my current collection and Napa favorites..
Darlene Tian: It's the best wine store in Cary! Customer service, selection, price points and wine tastings are top notch.
David Nershi: Great Grapes is an excellent wine shop no matter your level of wine knowledge. If you are new to wine, knowledgeable staff can guide you to just the right choice in a variety of price points. If you are wine savvy, you'll be delighted.I particularly enjoy their backroom where they have deep discounts and odd lots. It's a great place to score a bargain.Whether you searching for an expensive Barlolo or a Thursday night sipper, this is the place. You'll find quality international and domestic wines often at lower prices than the "beverage" wines sold in the grocery store. There are plenty of deals too.I always look forward to my visits to Great Grapes. I know you'll be pleased when you visit.
Margaruite Allen: Helpful staff. Good selection of French wines.
James Hong: Nice selection of domestic and imported wines. Good prices, deals on multiple bottle purchases. Some tastings available. Was just browsing.
Genesis Jaquez: I came here looking for a specific type of wine, but they didn’t carry it. The man helping me (not sure if he was the owner or regular employee) was quite rude, and he asked me if I was going to come back if he ordered a case for me. I assured him I would, gave him all of my information, but I was never contacted. I’m a very loyal customer whenever I feel a place appreciates my business, and unfortunately this place won’t ever get my business because of this.
Jeff K: This place is a hidden gem. The staff are some of the most knowledgeable and passionate people in the wine business. They have a great selection of natural wines and the store is brilliantly merchandised. In addition to a great selection of wines from around the world they have a small but well curated collection of craft beer, cheese, balsamic vinegars and olive oil. This is exactly the kind of place every town without a great wine shop wishes they had.
Be Joie: Excellent customer service! Great Selections. Gene is a treasure. Support local businesses!
Jennifer Marshburn: I've always loved this place, but since they've expanded and added a room of special deals, I can afford to go here so much more often. Everyone is willing to help and Gene has never failed to give excellent recommendations! If I were to improve it I would add a wine bar so I could get even more time to chat wine!
Ann D: Great selection and staff.
Onsilius Nobloc: I like community wine shops. The interaction is warm, and service is more personal than the big stores. The plaza it's in has a lot of great, local shops of quality.
Colin Miller: Great selection. Great people. Great experience. Go here on a weekly basis

Was not disappointed hostess was super friendly and warm the owner was there briefly and informed us about the business also I learned a lot about wine. I love to support black owned businesses. Oh and the mango wine slushy is the best slushy on the east coast for real !
angie hall: I had been trying to get here for the longest time and I finally made it and I'm so glad I did, the atmosphere and the staff were simply amazing, I was able to sample some wine and slushies and the slushies are awesome. I had to purchase a bottle of wine this is so good I didn't want to share with my husband but I decided not to be a scrooge and let him sample a little. I'll for sure be back and bring some friends with me
Terri Crymes: The atmosphere and space is incredibly welcoming and inviting. The wines were also great. I am so happy to support thus black owned business and can't wait to come back and hang out more on the outside patio.
Kay Green: Great vibes, great music, excellent staff and wonderful wine
Rechette Graney: Great atmosphere. We tried various wide range of wines charcuterie pairings. I would definitely give it another try as it is local and the wine offering has excellent characteristics.
Lizzie L.: Saw a Tik tok about this spot and decided to swing by. I could not have come at a more inconvenient time for them but not once did they make me feel anything less than welcome. It was a fun and cozy atmosphere with wine flights paired with great snack boxes. Plus they gave me a sample of each of their slushees and which are half off on Thursday’s. A wonderful weekend of weeknight spot by yourself or with others. 💕
