Emily Jimenez: Everyone who works here is so lovely and sweet. It’s a relatively small place that’s in an unassuming plaza and yet- it’s some of the best Japanese food I’ve had stateside.So glad we found this restaurant. We’ve come back time and time again. RK The Trash Artist: Despite the mixed and low reviews, my experience at Genki's was a pleasant one. Our waitress was very sweet and accomdating during our visit from start to end.As for the food, it was honestly delicious!
Cherese Boyd: Customer service is nonexistent. I ordered curbside and there was a selection for extra white sauce I selected that option. No where did it state that the extra white sauce would be a substitution for the ginger sauce. When I inquired about my missing ginger sauce, the lady immediately said it’s gonna cost extra, which is not a problem but the way that she made it seem was that because I chose extra white sauce, I should have known that I would not get the ginger sauce. There is a way to get the information across without being rude. I mean it was only $.82, and if I asked for it, I must be able to afford it. Then she came out with the bill for the sauce, but with no sauce to ensure that I paid the amount first otherwise I would not get the 2 ounce cup of sauce. How insulting

Bethany Prentice: Maybe its because I haven't had sushi since before the pandemic but this place was an awesome find for the area. Fresh, tender sushi that held up its shape when grabbed with chopsticks. Good variety of both rolls and nigiri/sashimi. Service was amazing despite me being a lone party of one. Attentive, knowledgeable server who seemed to genuinely care about my wellbeing after slamming multiple of the best priced sapporo I've found in the triangle. Hot sake was a cool touch thats hard to find elsewhere. Resevervations dont seem necessary, but might be a good plan past 6pm. 10/10, would spend my severance check here again.

Josh Rife: This place used to be the spot. We'd order there anytime, not a bad option to be had.They changed ownership and we've tried several times since then. It was okay for a while, a bit hit and miss on order accuracy. Now, however, it's fallen off. In one order, the udon was overcooked, broth was way too salty, the sushi rice was hard and stale, and the fish was flavorless, across multiple rolls. They're still charging prices like they're the sushi spot to go to, bit quality has taken a massive nosedive.Sucks, we patroned here for about 8 years consistently. Now it isn't worth even half of what it costs.

Food being delivered cold, portion sizes smaller, dressings runny and you can tell the fryer grease hasn't been changed based on how the food comes out and looks. I've eaten here several times and have felt fine each time, but last night I got my regular order and I was super gluten sick almost immediately. Not sure if there was cross contamination in the kitchen last night. I'm disappointed and not sure if I would order from here again, but I do recommend the delicious ramen if you are not GF!

Kristi Lewis: This was a new experience for me. I am your typical southern white girl that likes to eat unhealthy, classic southern dishes. Ramen Noodles are something I bought at the local Food Lion for 6 for $1 (with my MVP card… of course) and added boiling water to the line indentation on the inside of the foam cup.I am not a curry fan so I got a chicken broth base with pork, corn, egg and other stuff. I did add chicken and it was very yummy. They do offer a military discount so that was awesome. It was a good amount of food and the prices were good. I will be back.

Abi Turner (Buzbuz9): My friend recommended this place to me and it was quite good. Competitive prices with other restaurants of a similar caliber and better health code rating. Nice atmosphere and nice people ordered takeout online and went to pick up food about 20min later it was hot and ready. We got crab rangoons 8/10, beef and broccoli 7/10, hibachi chicken 8/10, and beef udon 7/10. Overall a pleasant experience and we will come again :)Update: We come here all the time. It is one of our fav restaurants in the area. Thry have great food and sushi. Never had a bad dish here. My fav is the Mongolian beef and my friends love their habachi.

Lyndon Johnson: Everything was exceptional. The service, fresh prepared sushi and the vegetables, beef and chicken plate was plentiful and delicious. The waitress was available and proficient and got my order prepared as I asked for. In town from Boston and wish they had a local affiliate I could frequent.

Aboli Patil: I wouldn't recommend this place in Cary to anyone who wants to be treated with some basic decency. My friend and I had a really bad experience there. The server who waited on us was a total jerk. She didn't even bother to talk to us politely and just threw the menu on the table. My friend and I were so put off by the server's attitude that we decided to leave the restaurant without ordering any food. I definitely won't be going back there again.
