Repo Record: what do users think?
John Arnett: Great place to dig for records. They have a very good selection. Also a decent budget section. If your lucky, they'll have some FREE record boxes you can take on your way out the door. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Monica Floyd: I was very impressed with the variety of genres and large selection of music. I even scored an LP for my son in California that he could not find there! And...they shipped it to him. Overall a great experience.
hidden leaf: Great record store with a large organized selection. Both used and new vinyl. Some with funny notes on the plastic covers. Would visit again.
Paul Brown: They helped me with my Marantz receiver, bought a cartridge for my turntable and they have helped me with a belt on my old table before. Pretty solid.
Scott Kuehne: The absolute best!!!!!!!!!!!
Dave Vanian: This place was a waste of time. I don't need cheap BOOTLEG Lp's. Two different stereotypes were working ...a young hipster with dayglo colors on and a starter stache and a older greasy haired mutant with a his sleeves cut off. I wasn't greeted coming in , my presence wasn't acknowledged , and they didn't say a word when I left. Thank god this isn't my local record store.
Velvetine Jones: Took my nephew to buy his first record. It was his first time in a record store too and he was in awe. He got Journey's Escape album. Was happy to bring him to the place I shopped every Sunday in my early 20s (albeit in a different location).
Michelle Touchberry: Such a cool place to find some really old CDs and nostalgic is the word I'm looking for
James Gray: Incredible selection, especially if you love vintage records!
Richard Manship: Very chill place. Good selection as well as some cool vintage equipment for sale.
Taillights and Tachometers: I have shopped at this record store every single time I go up to visit family in Charlotte, NC. The owner of this store is very kind and knowledgeable and he has a massive selection of vinyl and cd's. I have left this shop satisfied every single time and I will continue to shop at this record store whenever I'm in NC. My last purchase was a 1999 Super Deluxe set by Prince which he was selling sealed and at it's original MSRP. It was a very hard record to find at it's original price and finding it really made my day.
JEFF H.: Great selection!
Craig Kohler: Great record store, very helpful
Erica Schultz: Great selection
Michael Piatak: Great and interesting selection. Well organized for RSD.
Alexis Hilling: After hearing all of the RSD horror stories from today, specifically about how store owners and employees acted with blatantly breaking rules, I am so glad that this is my local record store. Y’all were very professional and friendly today. I was also able to get almost everything I wanted minus Fleetwood Mac. I know the owner ordered more copies than he received (he knows his audience and caters to them) but I also lined up right around opening time, so my fault! An employee even handed me an umbrella while waiting in line. Love y’all! I’ll be back ASAP.
G Boan: Owner is an incredibly rude A-hole, avoid at all costs.
Mauricio Rosales: Awesome! A lot of good music....🤘
Shawn S: Fantastic selection of mostly new records. Great variety. A few used records (though tape is used to deter inspection). Opening back home, definitely not VG+ as marked.
James Floyd: All the old cd s
Colleen Gilbert: Owner was very pleasant and a great help!

Cooper Dell: Really great selection of records! Best in Charlotte probably.
Phillip Gilbert: Cool staff. Fantastic selection. Rad ambiance.
General Consumer: I liked it. The staff were friendly and helpful. They had a good inventory and it seemed fairly priced. They have accessories and I made a purchase. I would go back.
Dave Vanian: I'm sure if I took a hour I might find something to buy but when I came in the place was full of college hipsters looking for wall art.
Paul Brown: I dig this place. Literally dig through a bunch of vinyl.
Oscar de la Torre: My favorite record storein Charlotte so far. They're cool, big selection of records new and used, and the atmosphere of people going there for records ... Fabulous place!
Joseph Anderson: Very cool store, nice selection of records
Jesse Mullis: Has any album you can think of
Mark Clowes: Spacious, air conditioned premises. Cool selection of new and used vinyl with bargains to be found!
barbara shaper: Helpful staff, great atmosphere, love my visits to Lunchbox!
Steven Rosas: Great selection. Good location for hitting up food/beer after.
tim lambert: Fast shipping and fair price. A+++
Megan Burns: Great place to browse around for new and used records. Found a couple of Taylor Swift records in there that I love listening to.
Jonathon Greene: Support your local record shop.
Darrell Pinter: Tons of music and people hanging out. A little more organization would made it a five-star place.
Ivan Lami: Amazing staff. Very good selection of records and good price.
Alan Kogler: Great store for vinyl, merchandise and memorabilia.
B Luscombe: Did a nice job on RSD 2023 with an up-to-Date guy

Manifest: what do users think?
vbzollinger: This place was incredible. I'm going to really miss it!
Leonard Crowder: Sorry to see them go
Amanda Underwood: I am so sad they are closing! I've been popping in here for years and its sad to lose this piece of my adolescence.
Michael Jones: Shame to see it die.
Bryce Hosseini: Giving five stars more out of nostalgia than anything else. Been coming here to browse for CD's and DVD's since I was a kid. They'll be closing the doors for good in just a few days, so it goes without saying that there's not much left inside to write home about. Still, even at this late hour there are a few outrageous bargains to be found if you look hard enough. Personally I had better luck with the DVD's than with the music section, but your mileage may vary based on your personal tastes. So long, Manifest; it was fun having you around all these years...
Brian Coleman: Gonna miss this place
Elizabeth Dowdle: Hate that they are going out of business.
patrick schluth: I love the place for music and pop culture..... I hate there closing
Amanda Mangiarelli: RIP manifest you will be missed 💔
Andy Wertz: Great used vinyl!
steve myers: Sad they are closing for good
Kellus Sanchez: Super sad this place is going out of business!
Cedric B: Gonna miss this vinyl love shack . music lived such as myself love vinyl a place to just shovel through all the used music and find a treasure .all the good things in life are leaving.tears of a lovely man here
Ron Rages: This store has been a great media store for a very long time sad to hear that they are closing.
Ashley Vaught: Great store! Such an awesome selection of music, movies, and everything in between. Such a shame they're closing.
William martin: Ive been going to this place for over 20 years..so sad to see it close
S C (Dex): Will miss this place. Been going for over 10 years!
Roger Faggen: THIS is an awesome store for CD treasure hunting. Except for the dollar bins, the CDs are EXTREMELY well organized, and digging for gems in the dollar bins is kinda fun if you have the time. Prices on used CDs are VERY reasonable.
Doris Bonin: Great records and memorabilia
Renee Love: Love this store still have DVD's and when I want something old school Noir I always can find it here
joseph rico: Excellent service , nice pleasing set up, Perfect atmosphere !!!!

Cream Puff Records: what do users think?
Roger Faggen: I went there because I searched for record stores in the area. There are two bins, but if there was a record store here like the images shown on Google, it's been converted to what is now the art gallery. This mediocre review only applies to the business as a record store. I'm sure the coffee is great and the books in the gallery looked neat.
N Parrish: Not many records to look at, more of a coffeehouse
Kevin Williams: Cream Puff website says they open at 12 on Sunday. they don't. drove from Raleigh to take advantage of the Merge30 sale. the records looked good through the window. 5 hours of driving for naught.
Drop Thrill: This is just the corner of a coffee shop that has a few boxes of records. It’s nice and is next to a cute art gallery (inside).
Shay Martin Lovette: Solid curation of vinyl ranging from indie folk to indie rock and americana. Huge supporter of NC art and music.
Dave Walker: Great collection of LPs from North Carolina artists that are often not stocked at larger record stores. Titles from Paradise of Bachelors, Merge Records, Three Lobed and other boutique labels. Smaller selection, but finely curated.

Noble Records: what do users think?
Max Gibson: Great
Allen G.: Great store, selection and realistic pricing. And always a good experience. Hope it stays that way!
Preston Evans: Cool place. I wish they had some of the newer genres.
Eddy Franken: Great record store with good finds
Paul Brown: Great vinyl destination. Noble knows.
Chris Finch: Mostly vinyl but great place.
Shawn S: Fought a bit of traffic but it was worth it. Had a fantastic used selection of vinyl. Overall was in great condition and protected with re-sealable sleeves. Heavily Rock focused but had a healthy selection of other genres.
Ron Crosier: Finally a real record store! Not some cheap hole in the wall we have like 12 records, this my friend is the real deal. Brings you back to the 70’s when music was real.
Nick Colquitt: Ok, but the guy didn't take any of my 40 to 50 allbums? He said, "I've got plenty of most of your stuff ... sorry.Anyway , I left there and went to a to a Competitor who bought 13 of my albums.Anyway, Noble Records is a nice store with a large selection, and the owner is a nice person.
Jason Mullis: Noble always has a great record selection and often has vinyls you can’t find anywhere else and are picky about quality of the trade-ins they receive. The kind and knowledgeable staff will help find whatever it is you’re looking for. This shop is one of the few (if not the only) in town open after 5pm through the week which is great for those of us that can’t make the big ‘drops’ on Saturdays. The only tradeoff is their new releases are often more expensive than other stores around - for example I’ve seen new blue note tone poet records for $46 at Noble when later the same week it’s $38 at Repo or Hardy Boys. Regardless, it’s a shop worth checking out. And it’s convenient to 485 and right on US74 which is great.
Brad Collins: Dillon at Noble Records has curated the best selection of used records I’ve ever seen in-store. Stone cold classics to mega-rare psych, rock, and jazz grails. The holy-moly wall is jaw dropping.
google account: bought my vinyl at a great price in a quick transaction, will return
Jimmy Hinson: Has a really good selection of vinyl records. Easy to locate what you are looking for. But that brings a little more in cost. I will be returning.
Nina Joyner: This is one of the best records places in the Charlotte-Matthew area. They have an amazing selection of sealed & preowned vinyls, cassettes, CDs, and more. I went with my sister and we both really enjoyed it. Follow their instagram to get updated on the latest finds! Thanks again.
Sher B.: What a fun gem of a place. Lots of oldies at great prices as well as brand new items.
General Consumer: Growing store with a good inventory. Owner and staff are friendly and helpful. I shop there quite often and have purchased a lot actually. I reccomend.
Jim Farkas: Hands down the best shop for used and new records in the Charlotte area. Dillon is extremely pleasant and knowledgeable about all forms of music. Always a guarantee to find some rare vinyl and best of all the prices are always fair. I go out of my way to support this local business every chance I get.
Brian Crigler: Great record shop with new and used records. They buy your old records but should likely call ahead before making the trip to ensure the owner will be there, otherwise love the record selection
jovihead: Dillon is probably the best curator of used records in/around Charlotte. Always actively on the hunt to bring quality used, often rare records to the Charlotte area. Also gets good new stock. One of the best record stores you're going to find anywhere.
Leo Klevens: All the vinyl you will ever need
Jakob Miller: I have been a regular at Noble Records since my first stop in the store in June of 2021. On that day, I walked out with multiple, almost perfect condition original metal records like Dio, Iron Maiden, etc., and every time I stop in the store, the rarity and quality ramps up tenfold. The owner is the friendliest, most professional record store owner I have ever met, and he seriously goes above and beyond for his local community and makes you feel like family. Not only that, his used selection is pure dynamite! He puts stuff out that you cannot find ANYWHERE, especially in the Carolinas, like original ZAMROCK albums all the way from Africa. No one does this BUT Noble Records! It is truly insane!I have seen a few different reviews claiming that the prices were too high or absurd, but in my opinion they are very reasonable for the quality, also and especially considering the fact that Noble Records is a small, brick-and-mortar store.I have never had a single bad experience here, and this is coming from the guy that has waited outside the store at 3AM, TWICE, for the amazing record drops. Many of you reading this review will be wondering "why," and all I can say is, become a regular, and you too will want to do the same! Many Grails have been obtained here. Noble has my business for LIFE!

FYE: what do users think?
Jason Furbush: Retro-cool shop boasting vinyl and art. A bit too much anime for my tastes but that's personal. Friendly staff and a good place to walk through.
Brad Miller: What a smack in the childhood! I spent many a day building up my DVD collection with the help of this place and their great deals! It's awesome to see they've adapted to the times, and figured out how to survive in today's climate. Love this place!
Alysha B Jones: Plenty of things " For Your Entertainment" ! Get it? Seriously though, it's a nice well put together store with plenty of different things to choose from
outlawstarr2008: Always a fun place to visit when you are in the mall. Plus, if you have cash to spend, then this is a great place!
Gus Rivers: Great place to find entrainment classics. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Deborah Gambrell: Overpriced
Deborah Bonelli: My favorite store
Samairota Sammy: A lot of variety of merchandise, anime figures, action and horror movies, I loved it
Andrew Peavey: wide selection of goods
Vaibhavi SB: I remember this store from early 2000. I'm glad to see it around. They had records, games, dvds.
Hope Griffin Diaz: I love going into this store, buying a Funko Pop figure, ripping it out of its box and screaming "I'VE FREED THE TOY!!!!!".
Jesus Afb: Nice place to buy vintage and related stuff to movies, series, cartoons, etc
Christon Lackie: Great supply and we'll stocked.
jerry miller: Horrible. If you're 10 uears old and want to buy toys then it okay. No selection of music at all. Used movies are way high priced. Employees are useless.
KATHY SETLIFF: This place is wildly overpriced!
Willie Thomas: Even though Blockbuster is no longer with us, I'm happy to still have places like FYE that provide a variety of items from toys to videos. Concord Mills Mall is the one I frequent and I highly recommend others visiting this fabulous store.
Scot Carpenter: It's a really great store if you're into collectibles funko pops marvel action figures games movies cds, this is your place.
Wes Caldwell: Always cool to check out these stores and see the different items they have to offer. Not many physical stores to buy music from in the digital age. They have awesome Horror themed collectibles and all kinds of other great stuff to check out.
Austin C: I go here on a regular occasion. The selection of pop culture items, is just to good to pass up. The Funko Pop selection is remarkable. Staff are generally helpful, unless they are swamped.
Diana Johnson: Nice store
Amanda Rae: I've always liked this place! I think the first time I visited one I was 16! I would just hang out and browse the merch... That was in the early 2000's. Anyways they've changed a little, it's not really the same but I like to go in every now and again just look around and feel the same vibes I felt as a carefree teenager 😎

Guitar Center: what do users think?
CarolJoy Songwriter: Great store ! Especially Zoe made our new instruments selection a very pleasant experience ! Keep it up ! Carol Joy and the JOI Neuron band
Аnastasiia Khmelovska: They don’t accept returns or exchanges. Will not buy anything else here.
Davis Duncan: Stood in the drum department for 30 minutes unnoticed and ignored. Store was empty except for the 8-10 employees that had better things to do ( as in talk to each other). $700 in my pocket ready to buy some stands and bags. I guess the story about the craft beer they had last night was more important than making a sale.? No wonder GC is struggling. Fire the burger flippers and hire some salesmen!
Daniel Shanley: PHENOMENAL Repair Service!I had 2 electric basses repaired over the past month. They are busy, but for a good reason. Did an excellent job bringing my first/main bass to mint condition.I have a 2nd hand Fender Squier Jazz Bass that has had a rough go. My expectations were what I thought were realistic. I didn't expect much at all, but I was floored by how pristine it sounded when I brought it home. I absolutely love this instrument now. Fantastic place for music gear, lessons and gold-standard repair service.
Jennifer Kemper: Good store but don't buy from Courtney. He lies to sell extended warranties and tells his employees to do the same.
Cody Cagle: I went in to sell a guitar and amp, the guy that helped me, looked up the wrong guitar in the system and offered me 60 dollars for a guitar that sells used on their website for 360 dollars. He knew nothing about the guitar models and also said that the pickups didn't affect the pricing of a guitar. It would just make sense to have people that have experience in the instruments they deal with everyday. I've been going for years and I'll never go back. All around unprofessional and should definitely be trained in customer services.
Chris Dias: Went in to look at electric kits. Two low end Simmons kits set up, all the good stuff was in boxes with no displays. What’s the point of having a store if I can’t even see a $2,500 item before purchasing it? Asked an associate if I could see it; nope.
Jack Werner: Thanks Johnny!!!
Clint Norwood: I took a brand new pedal to sell as used. It was needed when I ordered it but due to delays manufacturing it came later and my needs changed so I decided to sell it. The guy at the front desk looked at it like it was an alien device then I guess the manager popped up looked at it and said we are going to pass. He didn't even look to see what it was, what it goes for or anything. The people that work there should have a grasp on what they are looking at OR call someone who does. They may have felt like it was stolen(which i have the receipt to refute) but then again they didn't ask any questions. I mean how do you just look at a pedal and say nah without knowing what it is? Drove across town and sold it at the other location for the price I was asking for
Mark Rosekrans: Great people
Ni Zi: Absolutely garbage customer service. Super lazy and passive aggressive staff. I had questions about an instrument, I wanted to walk over to it and ask specific questions about it's feature's, they wouldn't leave the counter to go look at the instrument with me (way more staff than customer's in the store) they were not busy, When I did ask questions they dismissed me with worthless and completely unhelpful responses not at all relevant to the question. I tried to clarify, they intentionally misconstrued my question and they began answering a non relevant question again... basically just trying to make me go away. Essentially responding "yeah, we don't know, we have no idea" before acknowledging the question asked. I will not be back. In addition I purchased lessons about a year ago online, the staff never issued a refund and said they didn't have enough staff to do the lesson.
Tom Swift: Always have what I need.
Camille K: An awesome sales guy sold me a bass for my daughter, then also helped me get it to my car with the Amp. Thank you!! Will be a happy holiday in my house.Lots of guitars, knowledgeable staff, and they let try out the guitars. They encourage beginners and answer questions patiently. They are enthusiastic about what they are selling. So much better than buying in the internet.
Chris Elder: Helpful staff and good selection of instruments. Prices are high though. They have high quality products but don't seem to offer competitively priced low end items. I am beginning guitar. I realized I am naturally left-handed. They had 1 lefthanded guitar (out of what looks to be several hundred) and it was $850. I bought one only for $250. Same situation with accessories. Basic carry case online for $30. Nothing in the store even close. Straps...small beginner amp...instrument cables. All at a "premium" price compared to online options. I get the higher cost for the professional staff and the convenience of trying out products. But there is no reason you can't stock lower end items. Live demoing products should make it easy to identify discrepancies in quality between items. It is still a wonderful and welcoming local resource for fans of music.
trump won: I had a great experience with Matt, who helped me immensely with my purchase.
K_ Mc2: Great store...lots of stock for the coming holidays
Peter D: The girl (sorry didn't remember the name!) at the guitar section was amazing, however staff at the entrance is anything but helpful.Got in on Monday to bring a guitar for a service, they told me the guy isn't there on Mondays. I asked about the schedule, was told Tue--Sat USUALLY til 7pm. Specifically confirmed schedule for the next day.Next day comes, I only can get here after 6, so I rush to get here on time, but turns out the technician isn't here since 5pm. Staff just threw up their hands. No apologies, nothing.I mean sure, I should've called prior going to avoid spending my time. But the day prior I specifically asked about the schedule. Why have a schedule when it's not reliable?Just unpleasant and unfriendly. Have no intention of going back.
Hemant Basavapattan: Nice and helpful Associates
Serkan Bekişli: Amazing guitar center.
Jackie C: Came in this evening to look at some new releases from Fender - Vintage Tele. Johnny greeted as we came in and then came back to help locate what we were looking for, which wasn't in stock yet. So we ventured into the acoustics room, looking for a Taylor ce. Johnny patiently provided several different Taylors for Nick to play, even brought some from back stock. When Nick played the 814ce, he knew it was exactly the tone and feel he was looking for. Johnny was awesome through the entire purchase. Thanks Johnny and GC for a great experience!
Roland Stamey: Dedicated crew great customer service?
