Bruce K.: I'm not sure why the negative rating. I've shopped here for garden stuff a dozen times and it's fine. I've bought fencing, paving stones, chicken wire, mulch, decorative stones, playground sand (for filling in yard holes) and the like. The place is great.Sometimes, the flatbed cart has a deal wheel or there's a long queue at the register but that's how it goes
Manny Vega: They advertise online at one price and then they turn around and screw you with another price when you get in here online it says with employee discount but I’m not an employee but yet they still advertised it that way…And as much money as my company gives them every year I’ve been to the umpteen at least half a mill I cannot believe that they will not give it to me for the hundred dollars off
Rachel Palmer: They take good care of their orchids here. They always look better than the ones at other Lowe’s. I got mine here and it’s beautiful. I hope they’ll get a bright purple one in I can buy as well.

Shreya Jay: This place is absolutely amazing for all your house plant needs, and they even offer a fantastic selection of bird feed. We're regular customers and our feathered friends just can't seem to get enough of it. Every time we visit, we're thrilled by the discovery of rare house plants, and we always end up adding one or two new ones to our collection. Their assortment of planter pots in ceramic and terracotta is truly excellent. We recently purchased two Chinese money plants, also known as Pilea peperomoides, along with adorable ceramic pots in beautiful shades of blue. These plants are flourishing in our home and bringing us so much joy. The presence of a koi pond out front only enhances the overall calming atmosphere. You definitely don't want to miss out on visiting this place - it's an experience that's truly worth it! 🍃👍

Omar Plumey: Lovely nursery! Prices are a little overpriced but I would suggest taking advantage of the sales. The layout is nice and the staff are super friendly and helpful. You can also browse the store when it’s raining; they have it nicely covered. Recommend!

MChey: Pretty cool nursery definitely worth checking out but a little pricey on some things. All the staff we talked to were friendly and seemed very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions. We love that they allow dogs, our pup enjoyed shopping with us. They had a pretty impressive air plant selection with some of the largest I’ve seen for sale. We got free ladybugs with our purchase but it seemed like most were dead upon release-not sure if that’s normal since it’s our first year using them for pest control but figured it’s worth noting so others know what to expect.

Asking something as simple as if a plant needs to be repoted, I was responding to her and engaging in her conversation. I politely ended our conversation by saying OK, with a smile on my face and turned around to finish my day and she responds with “HELLO! im a person” in the nastiest, most snarky tone ever when I literally didn’t do anything. I asked her why she felt the need to catch an attitude with me because I did respond to her. I didn’t just walk off. And when I asked her why, she said that she said it was because she didn’t hear my response. And either way that does not give you the right to catch an attitude with someone at your job while you are on the clock.I have spend HUNDREDS in this store.I have CRIPPLING social anxiety and would NEVER be rude.Simple disgusting.

Ravi Sunny Kumar: Decent variety of plant selection but nothing exceptional. A lot of plants were not doing great when I went and some plants are over priced with no discounts. Not much native selection. It's an overdoze of evergreen hedges, conifers, cypresses and hedges. I was hoping to find more native yet interesting varieties.

Jennifer Szendi: I wasn’t at the nursery, I bought a Rose of Sharon tree online from Home Depot and when it arrived I was knocked sideways! I found it was shipped from this great company, in Charlotte, and I had to find them. This tree came in excellent boxed packaging and already had four or five large blooms! This has never happened before over the years when I’ve purchased plants by mail order! Even better, my son lives in Charlotte so I can visit the nursery some time. Yippee!! 🌷

Steve Braley: I bought 4 Sky Pencils through Home Depot with Baucom’s filling the order and shipping them. Plants arrived very healthy. However, the 7-gallon containers should have been 3 or 5 gallon as the trees were a pathetic 30” tall. Numerous reviews in 2020 indicated trees were delivered at about 48”. Now EVERY review in 2021 is complaining the 7-gallon pencils are 28-30 inches high. For almost $100 per plant. You should be ashamed of yourselves for passing off these plants as 7-gallon shrubs!

Bhasmang Mehta: ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!! sheer waste of time & money... Lured by the wonderfully written description about "landscape design home visit" on their website, I ordered the visit and was hoping to get some wonderful designs to redesign my backyard. However, I had to wait for 4 weeks for the pike nursery associate to visit my home finally he arrived, and spent barely 20 minutes verses what they advertised 1 hour in our backyard. Rather than giving his inputs he kept asking us "what do you need" ??? If we'd know what we wanted or what's good for our yard, why would we get the redesign services??? However that being said, after the visit he said he will send us designs by email and our endless wait for the email began... It's been 4 weeks now and we still haven't received any designs. After spending $549 and wasting over 8 weeks WE HAVE ACHIEVED NOTHING !!! I sent an email to Pike and they HAVEN'T RESPONDED TO THAT EITHER !!!

I receive hostile kindness and aggressive over-help.The employee followed me to the cashier, watched me pay, scowled, followed me to my car at a five foot distance, inscilence, and slowly stood over me as I loaded up my items. When I looked back to ask "You checking me out or what?!?" They reply, "Well I can't just water plants all day!"The inventory is 5 stars excellent selection on planters, shrubs and trees, rare tropical houseplants. The limited soil options are mostly Sungro brand which is a great organic brand. They have a wider array of pest treatments and plant food than Lowe's or Home Depot which is especially needed in the south east.
