The delivery person just handed the items over to a random person in the lobby of the hospital. They have no clue who they gave it to or where the flowers or the white chocolate went. After realizing my wife did not receive the flowers I called the store to inquire as to why the items were not delivered to my wife and to request a refund in the store would not refund my money because they were delivered to the location but not to my wife. I called corporate and they were said they would handled the situation and would follow up with in 24 hour but never did. After another round of phone calls with corporate, I still have not received my money. Never again will I support this business

Camille: I ordered and purchased the celebration basket on Friday ($129) for pick up on Mother's Day.I called back on Saturday to add to my order; I was on hold for more than 15 mins so I decided to drive to the Kings Dr. location.The item I wanted to add on, I was told they wouldn't allow for Mother's Day. Go figure.They then proceeded to tell me that my Sunday order was ready for pick up on Saturday morning. Since I was there, I took the item.The fruit was mostly very ripped and discolored in areas. I called to communicate this to management, spoke with Tameka who stated without pictures they couldn't do anything. I explained to her that I didn't take pics because I was extremely busy with a breakfast and just had them throw it out.I then explained to her that I have a history of ordering with them and wouldn't call to complain if it wasn't true. She didn't seem to care but couldn't answer me when I asked why would my Sunday request be prepared nearly 48hrs prior to the time it was requested. Fruit must be completely fresh and this batch was notProbably will not use them in the future.
Carl Pike: Purchase a chocolate dipped strawberry tray with a set of hugging sloth dolls for a house warming gift. Instead of the dolls ordered, a left over Valentines day (from 2 months before) teddy bear was substituted without notice. After leaving several messages and emails i was finally contacted. I was informed the substituted bear was in fact cheaper that what I had ordered. The ONLY option I was given was a refund of the difference of the cost between what I had ordered and what I had not ordered. In other words I had to purchase the leftover bear. No refund for the what I had bought. It a simple case of bate and switch fraud. The only upside is the partial refund because I ran this down. Otherwise they would have pocketed it all. Beware
Paula R Jackson: The arrangement was fantastic and fruit was fresh and delicious for Admin Day but when asked that morning about delivery, they could not guarantee by noon to enjoy on the day but by 5 pm. I had ordered it 2 days prior to Admin Day.We had to end up picking it up so staff could enjoy thruout the day. It turned over in the car because the box they put it in was flimsy, omg. Going forward, I will consider a different "gift" for Admin Day!!

Tamara DJ: My children saved and bought me an edible arrangement for Mother's Day. I was so excited because I have always wanted one. The arrangement was delivered on Mother's Day and placed in the refrigerator. I had emergency surgery the very next morning. When I came home on Tuesday the entire arrangement had mold on it. I phoned the store and was told nothing could be done. Very rude customer service who did not hear anything I said. I thought there was a customer happiness clause associated but I guess my order didn't apply. Horrible experience. Kids are disappointed. I never even tasted a single piece 😕

Jae Ashari: They deserve 0 stars. I went to the door at 4:50 and they had it locked . The lady in the store opened the door for another employee, let her in and locked it back. I called the customer service they lied and said the doors were unlocked and then came and unlocked it for me. They had attitudes while serving us then charged me extra for my order. They didn’t do a proper refund they just handed me $10 back for my order. They are very unprofessional and I will never come back.

I could have flown to North Carolina from Texas , stopped at the store and gotten to the location it was destined for quicker than the $14.60 extra I paid for delivery. Never again. I am blasting this location on every social platform.I placed an order @ 8:45 CST which is 9:45 EST. The store is only 17 minutes from the point of delivery. Per the notification tracking the order was in transit at 11:45 a.m and at 6:05 pm it was still in transit. I usually read the reviews on business but I slipped this time.

I placed an order to deliver at my daughter's school on Monday 02/13, but the school sent email out to parents not to schdule any V-Day deliveries. I called to the store directly on Thursday 02/09 to change delivery address. Which according to them it was not going to be a problem. But it was a problem on Monday, it was delivered to my daughter's school. The delivery driver called me, but I had missed his call. I called him back & he let me know my order was delivered. I asked if the school accepted the delivery. The driver stated yes, but when texted my daughter the office would release it to her. So I attempted to call Davis Lake to find out what happened, they confirmed they had the new address & not sure it was still delivered to the wrong address. They had me on hold then transfered me to someone else. Then they asked me what did I want them to do?I stated either delivery to correct address or credit my card back. She slammed the phone on me totally disconnected the call. I tried calling back & was immediately placed on hold. That great customer service, I had call from other phone to reach Alma, who made some attempt to help. I called, spoke with driver again, Ian who was amazing. He stated that he a long relationship with onwer/operator, who just credit back to my card. As of today, I'm still waiting on my credit.
Everybody Favorite: Just had a poor experience. Terrible customer service, My order was given to another customer and not offered to be replaced. I don’t know whether it’s the location or the chain but this was a terrible experience and will not be returning

Sneaking pieces late at night out of the fridge is fun. We laugh about it when we catch each other! This fruit is always ripe. The chocolates are actually very good. Honestly, I do not know how they did it all!

Shelby Mae: Will never order from here again. My husband ordered 2 boxes of chocolate covered fruit and spoke to the store twice about getting them delivered between 12 and 2. They assured him it wouldn't be a problem. No one called all day and he finally called them around 4 and they assured him it was on it's way. It was finally delivered at 6:45 and we received only half the order. So, in addition to ruining the birthday celebration and paying a huge delivery fee, we only received half the order. The store calls us shortly after and despite all the hassle, they only agree to refund the missed item. We are waiting to talk to the owner, but the damage has already been done.

Annette Porter: My best friend in New York surprised me with a birthday basket and separate chocolate covered strawberries. I'm not a big fruit eater and I particularly don't like strawberries because they tend to taste bitter to me. However, I was so pleasantly surprised. The fruit was all very fresh tasted great. The chocolate covered strawberries were sweet (not bitter) and delicious! Especially the white chocolate. I would have never gotten this for myself but I'm so grateful she did. The delivery person was very nice and wished me happy birthday. The fruit was beautifully displayed. Very happy with my gift!

I went to the store to place an order and they told me I had to do it online 🙄🙄🙄. I was getting frustrated because I’ve never had these issues before! I then went to Edible’s website where I learned through the chat that I do not need to purchase anything to receive my free birthday reward if you call the store. I finally decided to call another location (Ballantyne) and they were nothing but amazing! No problems at all. I was able to place my order for my birthday reward within 5 minutes. I will be going to that location from now on! Their customer service is great.

I thought I was ordering the flowers on the left, when the flowers on the right showed up. They were delivered in a timely manner, however, they look nothing like what I paid for. I returned and my order wasn’t ready but the owner made sure not only did she put together a beautiful tasty arrangement timely but also included a ballon and yummy cheesecake for service recovery. RUTH ATKINSON: Edible arrangements from Matthew Mint Hill Road location delivered my fruit arrangement to my house today. I was home when they came but wasn't expecting the basket. They left the arrangement on my front porch without ringing my door bell. Just so happen my neighbor saw them leave the package and text me. I wished they had rung the bell because I have insects on my porch.thats the first disgruntled.Second one, the basket wasn't nicely filled with fruit. Lots of space in the basket. Charlotte NC locations fruits are sweet and plentiful. This location Fruit was hard and not sweet. Nothing like sour strawberries and pineapples. YuckWhat a waste of good money. I don't want to tell my daughter how disappointed I am in my mother's day gift. I will wait a couple of months then tell her. They had to know the fruit wasn't up to par before sending it out the door. I'm so so hurt.

Jeff Weller: Horrible. Got a gift basket from a vendor and it was awful. Pretzels were stale. Caramel corn melted in a brick. Except for the packaged chocolates (Godiva) everything else (bulk sweets) went straight in the garbage. I called the sender and told him to get a full refund. Total waste of money. Update (weeks later) as a final insult from Gift Services we got notice that one of the items was recalled due to some improper labeling (nut allergen). Enclosed was a coupon or discount (if you were crazy enough to want to use it) that would cost you more to ship than the value of the coupon. And you would have to add money to even get to the lowest priced replacement. So you send out a potentially life threatening mislabeled item, offer some form of compensation, then want me to pay for the replacement and the shipping. Do you people ever mystery shop yourselves? What P.R. genius thinks of this stuff?

John Riefler: They are highly overpriced. Avoid this store at all costs. Just an example They summer sausage 10oz is $9.98. You can go next door to the Neighborhood Walmart store and get the same thing for $4.98. Hickory Farm pop up store is just a rip off. Avoid going there. They also have no cheese balls. This store completely turned me off to any Hickory Farm products. Also they refuse to make any refunds on their product. Find another store add don't go here. Talk about gouging their customers.
