John Fletcher: Stopped in to look at some tables that were posted online. Didn't know what to expect. Was greeted and helped with great service. Ended up buying 2 tables for a great price. Will definitely be back for additional office furniture.

If you do come here deal with the other sales man and not him!!

Tiffanie Wennersten: They have everything you could possibly need to remodel and decorate your house. This location is in a good safe area, it’s pretty much clean. My absolute only issue is for used items some of the prices were a bit up there. Other than that everything was great and easy to find what you need in designated areas.

Kerrigan: They seem to have forgotten that they are a secondhand store and not retail. You can find some really nice, trendy furniture here from time to time - but it is often overpriced for used, donated goods. You can buy brand new furniture for the same price that they’re selling some of these items - it’s no wonder the store is often over filled with ugly, outdated pieces.

J T: Good selection of stuff, but a lot of their prices are really quite high, sometimes absurdly so for used and often imperfect items. I was there today, used small ceramic planters ranged from $5-8, so they stayed there, a single, prettier kitchen chair I liked was for $35 (!), so that stayed there, ancient used lamps for $20 or more. A throw pillow I liked was $15. $10 for a nice curtain rod. Seems a bit crazy for items that are used and were donated and literally cost them nothing to acquire. If you're on a budget looking for basic thrift store items, you're better off at Salvation Army or Value Village on Central. If you're trying to repair your home on the cheap, you might do well.

It was important to me that this store is not owned by a large corporation (like a new vendor marketplace in Matthews that you may be familiar with). The premises was well lit, well spaced and tastefully decorated. They have plenty of parking and the friendliest staff you could hope for. Go and check them out. I will be back.
Veteran Veteran: This is a review of this artist marketplace.This is a consignment center sort of like black lion and people are familiar with that.Well they have a pretty good mixed selection of items unfortunately as with most places most of the furniture is not even real wood many of the pieces that we looked at especially dining room tables or living room tables or coffee tables were all made out of some kind of manufactured or pressboard wood with a veneer on it or some kind of sticker that makes it look like wood not what I'm looking to purchase in the upper price ranges.

Staff are very helpful; they took the extra time and care to wrap every piece of a 37-piece dishware set I purchased. I will definitely revisit.

Brenda Stephens: 12/05/2020 I wanted to purchase a bedroom door, I located the size I wanted but there was no one to assist in loading on the cart , so I had to struggle with it myself. Once I got it down and on the cart I noticed holes in the back of the door so I ask if I could get a discount and was told no by a worker. I then asked. If there's someone else I could speak to and she said yes. As I began to ask the manager the same worker interjected and said all items priced as is and the manager then repeated the same thing. This was a hollow door with holes in the back of it and they wanted to charge me $45. I walk out and search for the same door at home depot and its $38 brand new!!!!! Please price check other places before being damaged used items thinking that you will get a deal!!!!

A Floyd: Visited pre-covid: I thought this place had some really unique items. Prices are higher, probably in accord with the unique pieces. However no employees addressed us. That was very off-putting. If I'm going to spend more on a piece, the service should go along with that. 3 employees passed by us at different times and walked right by us. Maybe this is normal? Not sure. But was sad because they do really have some nice pieces.

We have gotten so many compliments on our furniture because it is so unique! There are options for pretty much any style you are looking for. The guys that work in the store are always super friendly and willing to help move things around so that you can see what they look like together. And, they're always helpful when it comes time to load up your car :)

Andrew Cox: A lot of cool furniture only issue is there is minimal parking, parking lot is falling apart, and you cant use a wheelchair as the isles are very narrow and deadends everywhere. Suggest looking more into facility layout to improve customer satisfaction

Doug and Ari Francavilla: I brought an item without a price to the register to inquire about the cost and I was curtly informed that their store policy is that they do not sell items without price tags. I did not appreciate being treated like I was trying to pull one over on them when they failed on their responsibility to price the item. What a strange way to conduct business and I won’t be going back.
Mia Mamone: An employee came up to my nephew and ridiculed him for sitting around the front of the store while he was waiting for us to leave. As a child, my nephew could not observe that this person was an employee, and isn't an adult, so expecting him to act like an adult is ridiculous. He wasn't out of line either, just sitting about. The employee continued to ridicule my nephew after he told the employee to leave him alone.After my nephew came and found my family, the employee came to us and gave my nephew lip in front of all 5 of my family members, including myself. The employee spoke like he was doing my nephew a favor by threatening to throw him out of the store because he talked back when a seemingly random stranger was talking to him.The employee walked away and continued to talk about my nephew to his co-workers who all laughed at him and were insulting him. We could hear it. My sister, my nephew's mom, came to confront that obvious disrespect and they refused accountability and even continued to speak disrespectfully to my sister. She left and I let the employees standing there laughing know that they weren't cute for mocking a child, one replied that she didn't care and I reminded her that she's the adult in the situation and she should just do her job.I was going to buy a couple things there and will never be going back. Don't give these people your money. I'm anticipating a stupid, attitude filled reply for the excuse of a manager that runs this place.
Casey Clark: I went to value village to donate clothing about a week ago 3 bags! I did that and came back a week later to see the pricing on my items! You guys priced my clothes for more then what I bought them for new on sale! You’re suppose to be a store that helps people not rips people off! Honestly you guys should be ashamed I have three more bins of things to donate and I’ll be taking them somewhere else because I won’t be enabling you over pricing to families in need these are used DONATED items stop trying to profit on the poor
Whitney Sweat: It was a decent thrift store. Huge selection, and I got some good finds! Reasonable prices, too. My only complaints were that it wasn't the cleanest, and the "dressing rooms" were two stalls with doors that had a gap, and only covered from my shoulders to my knees. It was very uncomfortable, don't recommend trying on in-store.

Carson Melvin: You can't beat Value Village prices... you can find some really quality clothing if you're willing to spend some time sifting through the racks. The sizes were all over the place, but other than that it was well organized, clean, and well priced.
Sarah Marin: A great variety of fabrics and styles. A pleasant smell. Fitting rooms were very dusty on the floor but glad they were open.

Meg B: Once my favorite thrift store. Now at least 1/3 of the store is dedicated to new items. It doesn’t feel like a thrift store anymore. No more furniture either. Just feels very different now.
William Garcia: With the wide variety of items that one finds in a thrift store and the equally wide variety of conditions of items found within one, it would be hard to rate them 5 stars. That said, there were some brand new shirts and pants on the racks and I found a floors steamer and book shelf too that was in really good condition. Happy shopping!

Todays excuse is they are too short staffed other days they’ll tell you nobody is there to check prices. No refunds on untested electronics with out power cords

Michael Glazer: Awful. The entire store smells horrible and parts of the store even smell like cat urine. On top of that, a majority of their products are totally destroyed and belong in the trash. The prices are high, and the way they price items is totally random ( a designer Ralph Lauren shirt is 3.50 but a dirty, Hanes T shirt is $6.50?) They have almost no furniture, but I found a chair that I liked. It had no price, so I approached the older, black Manager on duty and asked what he wanted to charge. He said "I don't feel comfortable giving out prices, that's not my job. Come back tomorrow" when in reality, I could see that he clearly wanted the chair for himself and didn't want to sell it.Please save yourself the trouble and avoid this place. Bad staff, bad items, bad pricing and a very bad stench.
Hannah Eckard: Don’t expect to find any furniture, vintage items or jewelry here anymore. Apparently the manager has decided they don’t have enough room for it and now half the store is expired food and cleaning supplies. I don’t know why they want to turn this place into a family dollar when there’s already one directly next door.
