Todd Nuccio: I had a rear gear derailleur that needed to be replaced quickly. I called the shop and they squeezed me in without hesitation. Very accommodating and professional. They take pride in their work and offer high quality service. I won’t hesitate going back.
Louis Asbury: Unparalleled customer service. I purchased a road bike from here in 2021, and came back in 2022 to purchase one for my wife. Super helpful and friendly staff. What truly sets this shop apart is the maintenance dept. I live across town and happily drive here for any maintenance needs. Why? They do the job right, and fast. Kaitlynn Lloyd: Everyone at the shop was really nice. We picked up 2 new bikes, close to closing time but they never made us feel rushed. The team made sure we knew the basics of caring for the bikes, answered questions on the accessories we wanted and had us rolling out the door! They went above and beyond when they were closing up and we were still in the parking lot...because the bikes didn't fit in the car. They took the time to help us pop the wheels off and load the car before they went home for the night.

Charles Hooker: I had a great experience at Giant University City. Admittedly I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted when I first went in, which was the Revolt Advanced 2. Wyatt was very friendly and helped me evaluate fit, different models, and options. In the end I pulled the trigger on the more expensive Advanced 0, and after todays 30 mile ride I couldn’t be happier. Great bike and a very friendly store!

The service is best in class and the communication over the app works really well and ensures transparency all the way. Kendall: New bike assembly (a year ago, bike wasn't rideable):1) Missing crank bolt and cap2) Chain tension was too soft and derailleur wasn't adjustedAnnual service on the bike (recent, bike wasn't rideable):1) Tires were replaced and put on backwards2) Derailleur cable was replaced and chain tension was too soft (derailleur wasn't adjusted)3) Replaced brake pads have a loud rattle sound while riding and pad bolt is stripped (cant remove the pads at the moment)4) Rear shock was very low on PSI and required adjustment for sag (+100PSI).Only reason I went back for the annual service was to see if the experience was the same (and write this review).

Kevin Keyes: I can't say enough good things about Conte's Bike Shop in Charlotte and specifically their professional bike fitter, Andrew Lerner. I bought a Trek Domane several months earlier from a Trek store in Greenville, SC and got a 10 minute complimentary bike fit as part of the purchase. I experienced finger numbness and neck pain on relatively short rides and went to see Andrew for a professional bike fit. After a detailed interview, Andrew spent a lot of time watching me ride my bike and ultimately determined the reach was a little long. Andrew made adjustments, all the while explaining the adjustments being made and how these adjustments would shorten the reach. We ultimately changed the saddle, stem and handlebars and the bike handles perfectly now. No more numb fingers or neck pain!! Thank you Andrew and Conte's!!

Rick Brown: Great bike shop. I was just passing through and needed a quick tune up, on my Trek Madone. While they aren't a Trek dealer, they nonetheless handled quickly and with quality. Was shifting smoothly once more and abke to hit the local group ride the next morning. The staff provided incredible service. Would highly recommend.
