Morgan Puente: Highly recommend NOT doing business with these people. First we went to the store during open hours and it was closed. Second, it was a long process to have had deliver the washer/dryer. Our tenants ran the washer/dryer once and the washer started smoking and the dryers cord blew up. They have a 90 day warranty and we CANNOT get ahold of the company now. Can’t express it enough to not do business with them.

Mike Smith: Usually everything goes good with Queen City. This time didn't go as planned. The model of the refrigerator that I received was a little different than what I was expecting. My daughter had just bought one a few months ago and I wanted the same one she had. Didn't notice the difference is until there truck had left. I was a little confused at the store while the refrigerator was cheaper than hers but he just said it was on July 4th sale.. after I start putting things in and noticing the differences I call the salesman to let him know but the only thing he could say was there was nothing that he could do. I sent an email to the manager and waited 3 days to put this on and have not heard a word from him. My daughter just bought her a new house and replaced every appliance in it from Queen City and everything in my house also came from there. Normally they do take care of their customers but this time they didn't even talk about it. Kind of leaves a bad taste after all the appliances between the two of us we have bought. Especially the manager not even trying to get in contact with me. But that is their choice.
Chris: Update:As you can see from my original review below, I was very pleased until… there was a problem. The fact is, I caused the problem by not measuring the depth of the washer and dryer I purchased. I needed help and couldn’t get it so I simply caved in and will live with the issue. For two days I tried to reach Kim. She was working on the days i called and busy but couldn’t take a minute to return any of my many messages. Customer service stated I needed to speak with her and only her which is just a poor policy. Finally reached Robbie who was helpful but at that point, I was done with this place. This place is fine unless you have an issue which I see others who reported through google reviews. All could have been avoided with basic follow up.Truly appreciated my experience with Kim Whitlatch. This was my first experience with this store/brand and I needed a lot including a fridge, range, wine cooler, washer & dryer and TV. She made it all happen in about an hour and her knowledge and expertise complimented the experience.

Steve Santore: good luck getting someone to help you if you have an issue with your appliance. they just pass the buck back and forth between their sales and customer service teams and the manufacturer themselves. was told my GE range was irreparable and need to be replaced by a service tech on 5/17, and i still don’t have a new unit over a month later. i have called and left VMs for their customer service mgr, sam, every couple days over the past 2 weeks and she continues to ignore me. does anybody there even care?
A Greene: Our purchasing process was smooth, friendly with no pressure to buy anything we didn’t want. Delivery was on time and the our installers were professional, respectful and explained some things prior to use of our new refrigerator. All in all great experience! Robin was a knowledgeable salesperson and called to double check that our delivery was scheduled like promised!

Hassell Stacy: I have waited to write this review because I had hoped that the problems we are having with the Maytag front load washer we purchased from Queen City would be resolved by now, but they have not. We have had ongoing issues since we bought the washing machine in the beginning of March. Queen City did request service from Advanced Appliances, the company they use for repairs, but after five trips to our house, nothing was resolved and the repairman who was sent was unsympathetic and rude. We finally called the company that makes Maytag washers and they sent a repairman. He was very knowledgeable and was very familiar with the problems we are having. The washing machine shakes so much and so loudly during the spin cycle that it can be heard and felt throughout the house, and because of the shaking, the machine was shimmying across the floor. My husband found some rubber cups that we placed under the feet and the machine doesn't "walk" across the floor now, but it still shakes violently. Also, the spin cycle is inefficient and we always have to put laundry loads through a 2nd "drain and spin" cycle. According to the Maytag repairman, the problem is that the machine is poorly engineered, and he is encountering these same problems with many other people. The bottom line is that we seem to be stuck with a $1000 machine that is a total disappointment! The question is who should be responsible for the malfunctioning washing machine? Should it be Queen City for not backing the products they sell, or should it be Maytag for producing poorly made machines, or should the responsibility lie with both? Queen City has stopped calling to see if the problems have been resolved in the hopes, I'm sure, that we will just give up and live with the very disappointing and unsatisfactory appliance.
Heather Backeberg: Robbie was super knowledgeable and went above and beyond. Appliances are expensive and he took the time to educate us which is much appreciated. Won’t hesitate to go back to QC or refer friends and clients.

Patrick Redmond: Terrible service. Shady manager. Sold me a dryer that broke down in two weeks. Took several days to get him to repair it. Five weeks later, unit completely broke down. Wouldn’t exchange it or refund the purchase. Started yelling at me and arguing with me saying “oh if you’d brought it back sooner…” and “…we’ll if you brought I back when it first broke down…” as if somehow this was my fault. Ever use these guys. Waste of money.

steve hack: Christmas eve my freezer quit working. I went on You Tube and checked what it may be. After cleaning the coils and checking for frost it looked like it may be the thermostat. My wife and I were ready to purchase another refrigerator because everyone I was calling was closed for the holiday. I called Appliance Outlet and spoke with a gentleman, I do not recall his name, sorry, and when I asked about a thermostat he had me try a little trick with the wires and told me if this works THEN buy your thermostat. Even gave me a number to call to get one. Well it worked and with help from You Tube I installed it and everything works great!! Thanks for your honesty and help. I will look to you for my next appliance.
Tiwhisha Luster: purchase a washer and dryer in May through progressive and he said that we had a warranty on the washer and dryer well I'll call back after we paid it a in full to see if we had the warranty and he said nowithout a receipt well he never gave us a receipt we did everything on the computer just be careful of these people the washer and dryer is still working but I just want to make sure that if it goes out that we still had that warranty they are liars stay away do not go to this place they need to be shut down

I bought a very beautiful washer and dryer from them on 8/4/2022 on 8/20/2022 the washer went out. i was told it was going to be repaired not to mention i was told it was a new washer and dryer just to out find out later that it is a refurbished set. not cool to have someone paying for what they thought was new but isnt new at all. today is 10/6/2022 and i am still without my washer. I was giving a loner that does not match what i have. I have called several times i either no answer or when i do get an answer i get the run around about the repairs of my set. Please again if you can do your research before buying from them.

Angela Skipper: I purchased a stove from what seemed to be a upfront and honest man! I got the stove home (asked for delivery, he insisted I move it in my SUV) but the front burner didn’t turn down it stayed on high! The rear left burner would turn down sometimes, so u had to stand there and monitor EVERYTHING! I tried to bake a cake it took over an hour to bake one layer. The oven over cooked the outside but the inside wouldn’t cook. I would turn it on lower settings and nothing would change. Called about the repair to get it right and a lady (I never met) has a nasty attitude was very rude. I bring the stove inside bc I was told if the tech comes to me they would charge me (even with warranty)! I take it in gave the info of the issues and they said they would call when it was done…this was Thursday! I called Tuesday and they said yes it’s ready (never got a call). Get there and the originally nice salesman was RUDE! Told me there was nothing wrong with it, said it was my plug at home. Told me as long as the temp inside the oven read proper nothing else mattered bc it works! He turns on everything to show me it works then BOOM he sees the burner doesn’t turn down! He tried to give me a dirty stove said I told him I didn’t want mine (never said that, just told him to repair mine). He began to loud talk me, over talking me telling me that I didn’t know what I was talking about BUT I have been cooking on this stove he sold me!!! I left the stove that day got it two days later and guess what….NO CHANGE! I had to purchase a brand new stove and I’m out of $250! NEVER EVER WILL I DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PPL AGAIN!

Lisa Nannini: I purchased a combo washer and dryer and the spin cycle stopped working on the washer I found my receipt faxed it in and had an appointment for repair....no show...then person showed up another day unannounced and told us it was the latch that was broken.....needless to say that was in January and that is the last we have heard from them. Fortunately I had bought a brand new washer and dryer so I didn't have to go without but I am more than dissatisfied with the lack of service I received and I left another message for repair in February and am still awaiting a call back....buyer beware for sure.***** Update to my post...... Originally I gave only 1 star but changed to three***** I called several more times in March and it was hard to get a scheduled repair, I finally went in person this month (April) and my washer /dryer combo was fixed within a couple days of my onsite visit.My recommendation would be to go in person with your receipt to schedule a repair if necessary. The service I received after the store visit was perfect.
