David F: The remote on my Mavic stopped taking a charge so I contacted Nine Ten Drones. Paul was very nice and professional and not pushing anything. He explained what he thought was the issue with my remote, as well as the cost to repair. I thought they were close enough for me to drive but it ended up being over an hour so I UPS’d my remote. They let me know when they received it and it would be looking into it into the next few days. A few days later I received a call from Paul and he reviewed what was wrong with it, the solution, and the repair price which he was dead on based on our initial conversation before I had sent it. A few days later I received another email with photos of the before and after the repair and an invoice, letting me know that the unit will be shipped back as soon as the invoice was paid. I paid the invoice and Paul dropped it off the same day. I received the repaired unit the next day and it is working perfectly. Thanks to Nine Ten Drones and Paul for all of his help. I am leaving the original so everyone can see just how upset i was, and have since changed it to 5 stars - she has completely changed my mind in regards to herself professionally.--------------------------------------------------------I am the business manager for a local company. We scheduled over a month ago to have Ms. B come out and teach a class on the basics of photography. I confirmed with her just last week that we were still good to go. I rescheduled our entire staff – missing out on several appointments – so that we could hold this photography class for our associates. I received an email the NIGHT before at 11PM informing me she needed to cancel the appointment – with no other explanation. She has caused us to lose funds, and has proven to be completely unreliable and unprofessional. For these reasons alone I would not recommend her to anyone.

Rebecca Guinee: I reserved a newborn appointment with Roxie prior to my son being born. I wanted to make sure I had someone available as I know photographers can get booked up and newborn photos are time sensitive, needing to be done in the first week or so. Roxie assured me that all I had to do was let her know when he was born and we would schedule a day to meet within 10 days. As soon as my son was born I emailed Roxie, but got no reply. I was trying to give her ample time to reply, but after almost a week I was getting nervous that the time window for a sleepy baby photoshoot was running out. I finally decided to call her after the second email had no reply and she said she was not doing newborn shoots anymore. At first she said it was due to insurance reasons, then she explained it was because she was very sick. I can understand and respect her being unable to work due to unexpected illness, but at the very least I would expect her to let me know! That way I could have had time to find someone else. She explained that she wasn't checking her email, but I'm not sure what illness makes it so you can't at least look at client emails. Especially if you have people depending on you. After I explained how disappointed I was that I didn't get a reply, she said I shouldn't worry I could find someone else. Thanks a lot. Being a new mom, with a c section, 10 days post op.. the last thing I need to worry about is being stood up by a photographer.
