Mt Rose Hotel: what do users think?
Jennifer Ford: They are scammers took my deposit and said that we smoked in the room witch is a lie we did not smoke in the room we went out side multiple times thru the night and smoked wouldn't recommend this place to anyoneRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Robert Short: Great value very clean and outstanding service!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Chad: The room looked brand new and all fixtures looked brand new. The front desk is not manned between 11pm and 7am, so you will definitely need your room key to get back inside if you leave. Parking lot was well lit and the staff was incredibly nice and pleasant. I would recommend highly. Also, the price is very nice!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Michael Roberts: Food & drinks: Quite a bit close by to eat.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
CJ Write: Just what we needed! Super clear modest hotel. Well lit parking lot with space for 4-door work trucks and vans. Room had 5-bar free wifi and plenty of lights. Curtains on windows were black out. Bathroom had three switches; sink, shower and fan. Left shower light on for walking safety. Met at front desk by lovely friendly woman who allowed early check in. Gave advice to attend local Dogwood Festival to stretch our legs. Fun safe event! Great job Lafayette police department. Room road traffic noise was zero but other room chatter was four; but it’s a hotel?!? They probably heard us laughing too. We loved our stay.
Cj Gerson: Really nice clean hotel. The only thing I didn't see was in the kitchenette there wasn't a stove top or anything like that to cook but I also didn't ask if they had any at the front. But it was a great price , clean and friendly.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
S R: Room/downstairs area were clean, nice staff, but traveling solo and being female I was surprised that during a certain time period there would be no one downstairs. The outside doors would be locked and you could use your key for entry, but I still would feel more secure knowing staff was at the desk 24/7. Probably should have done more research prior to booking, but booked for location.
Wendy McCollum: It's nice to just rest. The rooms were clean. Not noisy.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Amanda Whittemore: We were very pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the customer service was as soon as we walked in. The room was extremely clean and comfortable! The rest of the staff were very friendly any time we interacted during the rest of our stay. We will definitely recommend and stay again!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jessica Louise Garcia: We needed a room for the night as we were just stopping in town for the day. The women working the front desk was very kind. The hotel was extremely clean and well-kept. Im surprised how low the cost is to stay here—it was honestly cleaner than some $200+ hotels I’ve stayed at. The beds and linens were comfy. My room had a fridge. The room my friend booked had a nice little kitchenette. Highly recommend this hotel.
Cam Inc: It was very clean. I was impressed, keep up the great work you guys.Rooms: Rooms looks brand new and very clean.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Mathis Cousan: The best I ever hadRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Pamela John: Rooms: Homeless peeps all around the property and neighborhood. Just beware of your surroundings, as I didn't feel safe. The people banging their squeaky bed above us was really loud first a loooong time. Even though service said coffee at 6am, nobody showed up at front desk til after we left at 8am. Smelly pillows and cheap, pilled sheets. Not my idea of comfort first the price!
Pam Sears: Absolutely a wonderful place to stay..clean.. comfortable.. accommodating. The owner was extremely helpful and caring through a very difficult time. After going to three different hotels all too dirty to stay at thank God we finally found Mt. Rose. This is the only place I will stay when visiting Fayetteville.
Chris Robertson: Mt. Rose was awesome. Clean rooms, great service, decently priced. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Aye ye: We wanted to stay here overnight from our trip from fl to nyc, we arrived here very tired around 11 pm and asked if we could see the rooms first as some of the previous reviews mentioned roaches, well this is when the lady at the front desk started to act as if I disrespected her mom. She started saying i was disrespectful and I offended her and i should just look at all the reviews and her hotel was very good and I should just leave if I was going to disrespect her like this. I did not want to start a discussion with this lady and just left, as I was walking to my car the lady locked the hotel door after me and stood in front of the door until I left.
kaan yilmaz: We zijn super slecht behandeld door de eigenaar.

Deluxe Inn Fayetteville North Carolina: what do users think?
Sponge Bob: We spent an overnight in the Deluxe Inn Fayetteville. It seemed like a nicely remodeled motel. Our room was nice with flooring and newer somewhat modern furniture. There was a refrigerator with an actual freezer, and a microwave oven. The TV was a decent size, and had a good amount of channels. The heat/ac unit didn't work the best and was difficult to regulate. We had a couch and table as well. The room also had the smell of a cleaner when we arrived. The room at least smelled clean. But it looked the part also. The bathroom had the outside sink, with the shower and toilet in their own room. It had a nice shower with soft water. It had a water saver shower head which means not a lot of water or pressure. The tub did kind of make you feel like you might slip and fall, so care had to be taken. A bath mat or such might help. The tub sides were kind of high which makes stepping in and out more difficult for some folks. The bed seemed somewhat firm and soft at the same time. So I guess it’s in the middle. It was firm enough for us, but not too soft. We slept okay, but not as good as some places we’ve stayed recently. But to be fair, we slept fairly decent. And also much better than some places we’ve also stayed recently. The motel was quiet and with the constant back ground noise from the fan sound from the heat/ac unit. It was pretty quiet. There was no breakfast included in the price. So you have to make your own arrangements. Although there are some places close by. Burger King is next door. But you cannot get breakfast before 8am, unless you get in your car and drive thru. We went elsewhere since we had to get in our vehicle. The motel is also close to I-95. So it's easy to find, or get on the highway in the morning. We found this motel quite nice for its price point. I tend to look at what a motel gives you in a price point, rather than what it doesn't give you. As such, I found the Deluxe Inn to be a decent place for an overnight. If I was in need of lodging again in Fayetteville, I would definitely consider the Deluxe Inn again.

Benjamin: Reasonably priced hotel that made for a comfortable stay overnight. The deduction of one star is just because there was a bad smell when entering the room initially. It faded after a little while but it’s just not the first impression you want of a place you’ll be staying in. The room was clean though and the staff friendly; everything worked. My suggestion would be go a little heavier on the air fresheners! 😊
Danny Kittrell: Room was clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.Rooms: Very cleanSafety: Felt safe
Josette Mari: Such a clean place! I was so happy!Rooms: Clean!Nearby activities: Downtown was a bit sketchy..But motel was good. It was a stopover for one night..Had dinner at Antonello's. It was great

Amy Sousa: Quite disappointed, after a 35 min check in just to get the key we realize (they did not mention it) there is no elevator and we are upstairs. The floor in the room was gross. Like a sticky ace bandage the carpet tried to lift with every step. The worst was when we were woken at 8am by I'm guessing house keeping trying to get into the room. The little slide lock was on thank God or they would have walked right in. Instead they slammed it trying to open it 4 or 5 times... Was not impressed as a wake up........ Easy on and off highway but not worth it at all.......Rooms: Carpets are gross

Tiffany: We picked this hotel because it was our halfway point in our long drive to FL. It exceeded all my expectations for an off the highway type of place. Jessica Allman-LaPorte: Cheap, clean, and across from Waffle House, what more could you ask for? Seriously, very clean with new carpeting, windows. Looks very nice, stars are well deserved.

Regency Inn Fayetteville: what do users think?
Shannon Barnes: I wouldn't recommend this place to NO ONE! The lady at the front office is just horrible and rude for no reason. No tv, wifi didn't work, no towels or toilet paper... paid $80 and went to get a refund after 2-3mins (long enough to step in the room and back out) and was refused a refund. The hotel is run down and the staff is even worse... Just keep driving anywhere is better then there.. only gave it a star so I could post btw.

Christina Willis: My name is Christina Willis. I would like to take the time to say. This hotels hospitality is a 10. My brother Darrell has been staying at this wonderful hotel. William and Karen has shown what true hospitality is all about. I thank you both from the bottom of my heart for having great customer service!!!. We appreciate all of your understanding and generosity.
O O: Nearby activities: Super owner and his wife caring people but we drove a long way to get here and turned away by a white woman who said no rooms available . It was just after 10 am there were multiple rooms empty . She told us all to come back after the owner got back later that day. She then said she was a maid there and went back to smoking something and laughing with a rough looking gentlemen. As l said l have talked with the owner before we made plans to come to this hotel super nice man . I'm so surprised he had her even on the property period, she was very rude the woman would never work for me PERIOD . We all left l wish him luck this year he is not the problem maybe she is the one who posted the bad photos here of the wires . I found out around town she bad mouthed him alot and other folks had problems with her Both the men who worked at there are very professional and protect his property. Unlike her and her visitors Again good luck in the future

Sandra Stump: I came out for a job. I stayed at the regency. It was terrible. The outlets didn't half work. The bed was uncomfortable. The staff was rude. The owner should not have this motel open. .He has no good solid staff. He wants people to work in exchange for the room. He does not coletely stock the room. No telephone. Old school tekevision.. I would not recommend anyone to stay there.
Hugs with Consent: We stayed one night passing through because it was fairly cheap, about $70 a night with tax. Just go further and get a better hotel, you’ll feel safer.Cons:Smells like cigarettes. At 5am someone knocked on our door named “CJ” or “TJ”. We definitely DID NOT open the door and told him “no” loudly a few times before he left. We did not sleep well after that, very unsettling.Pros:Parking is directly in front of your room if your lucky so you can keep an on your car.One cup coffee maker in the room, which was nice.

Sarah Martin: Stopped here on a road-trip south with kids and had such a great stay. Hotel is newer, rooms were clean, no gross rugs or mildew in the shower…soap, lotion, shower gel is on the wall and I appreciated no tiny bottles everywhere. Dogs are welcome and the Hampton Inn across the parking lot allows you to use their outdoor pool as a guest of Tru. Service was absolutely amazing including the front desk person from LI and the other person with green hair (wish I’d gotten your names—sorry!). Breakfast was delicious, clean—the grits were smooth with no lumps and the attendant patiently taught me how to season them well. Yup, it’s the little things—and this place did it well. Would stay here again..
Becca Ashley: I stay in this hotel every time I drive to and from Connecticut to Florida (I'm from FL) This hotel is fantastic - the front desk workers are absolutely amazing humans and the cleanliness and convenience and greatness of this hotel are unparalleled. I HIGHLY recommend. I stay here with my dog and it is completely pet friendly as well. 24 hour coffee and tea service and good restaurants around to DoorDash to your room! Stay here. I know I will!
Andrew Jones: The hotel seemed newer and was mostly clean. The finishes were classy, yet cheap, and nice touches. The room was decent size for quick overnight stays and for one person. With two people or extra luggage, it would probably feel tight in the room. The bathroom was comfortably sized.

Whitney Niedzwiecki: Wonderful location right off of I95, excellent customer service at the desk with a smile, free breakfast was fresh and great variety. The room was clean, comfy bedding, and shower was hot water with nice pressure. Appreciate the nicer soap and lotions as well. AC machine is a bit loud, but not a problem for us, kind of like a sound machine.

Michael Cee: Driving down from DC to FL, the hotel was in a great spot. It is a lovely hotel with nice colors, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was decent, with hot food. Ample free parking. The hotel shares a pool with the Hampton Inn.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet, High-tech …More
Benjamin Simpson: This hotel is nice and vibrant colors. Couldn't sleep well at all though. Poor choice on location. There is a local road on the backside. Heard trucks and cars passing all night long. Sounded like we were sleeping on the highway. The fridge and AC noises combined made it the worst night sleeping on vacation. I got better sleep in the car. If you stay at this hotel ask for the front of the building and unplug the fridge.Noteworthy details: Sleep on front side of building.
Calvin Boston: Very convenient to I 95Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Robert Mueller: Why do all Tru by Hilton hotels look like very colorful prisons? Lol.Anyway...The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was hot, filling, tasty, & free. The guest services were excellent. The lobby is great too. They had a pool table. I was in heaven there. The price for the room was a little high though. Not horribly so, but still...Rooms: Clean comfortable rooms.
Imelda Egg: After a ten hour drive, we entered our room looking to a relaxed evening only to be welcomed by the thump-thump-thumping from the room above ours…courtesy of two 9-10 year olds (saw them later running in the lobby). I would suggest that families with young children be assigned rooms on the 1st floor and not subject other guests to a less than comfortable stay. Disappointed!

IHG Army Hotels Normandy House & Carolina Inn: what do users think?
T T: My family and I stayed here one night and for the amount of money we paid the amenities were outdated and not worth the price. I am not sure if this is the standard but if it is it needs to change asap. Most military bases have at least one or two nice updated and modern hotels that family members can utilize while feeling safe and comfortable while visiting their families or if you just want a break. When we arrived to check in we drove to this location around 5pm nobody was at the front desk so we had to call the number listed only to be informed we had to drive to moon hall to check in and get our keys after a long day of driving this can be upsetting and tiring despite it being a 5/7 minute drive apart and this information not being listed anywhere in the email. The public should be aware of this information if IHG does not want to assign a employee at this site full time I could have just checked into moon hall and did all the transactions in one location. This location has no elevator so if you end on any floor beside the first floor good luck. My elderly parents were forced to walk up 12 flight of steep stairwells each time we wanted to leave the room because it was no availability on the second floor and during the entire stay I was nervous and assisted them while moving up and down the stairwell but thankfully we only stayed here one night. The breakfast was bare and located in a small area in the back of the hotel with limited options and left a lot to be desired again for the amount we paid we could have ate better at a local Waffle House or even ihop. The rooms were small and dated and while it looked clean it still did not give the updated and modern feel it should have for 140 dollars a night for a hotel on base. This location is really tucked away from alot of the basics so if you need to be close near a shopette or mini mall on base this is not the location for you. The next time my family and I visit we will stay in moon hall the closer proximity to basic amenities and a elevator really make a different when traveling to unfamiliar locations. This hotel should be your last option on post and not your first one because I never saw one hotel employee while staying here until we were about to check out before eating breakfast but even then she wasn’t clearly identified because she was wearing a hoodie over her head and on the phone having a personal conversation while also watching folks eat breakfast and then restocking items again this space is really small for it to host breakfast and this was a little weird and not good public relations if your visiting this site for the first time. Fort Liberty is known to be the flag ship of the army culture if they want to keep this distinction they need a nicer hotel on this post or at least a remolded hotel. Maybe they should consult with fort Gordon or fort Jackson because they have at least one nice ihg hotel on their bases that are fairly new and at least updated. My family and I won’t be back to this location but thank goodness we were only in town for less than 24 hours. Either the price point for these rooms need to stay below a certain price point or a massive renovation needs to take place so the price being charge is worth the price. It was also a little unsettling not to see any employees at this site what happens if you need assist with something? Or better yet you have some special accommodations again please be careful if you book here. This review is 100 percent accurate and my family and I did stay stay at this location while the response from the hotel below may suggest otherwise. My dad is a retired Army Veteran that was stationed at Bragg and I am currently still serving and spent plenty of time at this base growing up but this was our first time staying at this location. I don’t have to go above and beyond to reveal my identity just to review a location and let people be aware of what we encountered. As I said again when we return we will give moon hall a chance and look forward to better hospitality.
Paula Katers: We stayed in Carolina in 3 years apart and, coincidentally, both times in the same room. The first visit I thought it was very comfortable and decent. The second time, not so much. Dishes and flatware are missing in the kitchen. No way you could have four people share a meal. There were no kitchen towels or sponges of any kind. The couch looks like an animal has chewed on it and the whole room smells of pet odor.We brought a pet, paid the $75.00 non refundable fee and expected better. The bed and bedding are nice and comfortable. The rest of the place left a lot to be desired.
Luis Garcia: Incoming/ Outgoing SERVICE MEMBERS BEWARE! This place is unsanitary and filthy. The small apartments are infested with water bugs and spiders, and the rooms are not clean. House keepers do not do a good job cleaning the rooms. Facial and body hair were in the shower and sinks when I checked in. There was still dog hair in the room from previous customers. When I informed the front desk, I was given an attitude for reporting the issues. This place must be shut down until proper cleaning services can be provided to the rooms. Garrison Team please work to close this place down, and strip the IHG name from this place. Soldiers do not use your TLE on this place, take your family off base and go somewhere sanitary. I am extremely surprised on how this hotel is still operational. Again Fort Liberty close this place down, or demand the hotel management to hire employees that care with providing soldiers and retirees with quality and clean service. PCSing is stressful enough for soldiers and their families, they should not be given poor service.
Chris Benigno: Old and tired hotel.
Tiffany Cowdrey: If I could leave a zero star rating I would. NO ELEVATOR 2 FLIGHTS OF 12 STAIRS EACH TO CLIMB. YOU CAN NOT control your own air setting in the room and our room had no trash bags in the cans, hair in the sink, and someone else’s plane ticket on the dresser. I should not have to tell them that my husband can’t walk stairs. Now I’m waiting for a new room at moon hall. Lyrica was great to try and make it right but I will never stay on base here again. Hotel was hard to find even using guide on.
Frank Patino: We got to moon hall for the All American week only to find out we didn't have my 5Nights for the Normany hall. I ordered the room online Jan 4th, 2023 for May 21-25 2023 Desk call me 3 hours before check inTime to tell meThey have no room for me. I toldthem I have the email to me back for theCONFIRMATION NUMBER. Sorry no roomhear for you. Desk told me they to call 4 other people they don't have rooms for them also. They over booked online soWe had to look for rooms at the last minute. I told them I'm calling the Corporate Office to complain.

Mr. C PJR: A lot of people complaining about the decor....The building is indeed old and many decades ago it served as the bachelor officers quarters, so most rooms (suites) are a bedroom, sitting area w/ kitchenette. Yes, the furniture looks like it's out of an old B & W movie but it is serviceable & maintained. It is also a tad quiter hete than at Moon Hall. Our room was immaculate! My only recommendation is put some mats in the showers, or non-slip tape; i almost went down getting in the shower. The area is QUIET as the Normandy House is smack dab in the middle of Officer Country. No biggie though & no issues at all. It was nice to walk around in the mornings & evenings as there are plenty of placards to read. The Fayetteville area has grown and the new roads/by-passes, etc. have alleviated some congestion, so going on base from a town excursion is not bad at all. Plenty to see with all the museums, historic places & revitalization going on in downtown. I'm sure the place will get a face lift soon, but the history of it is kinda cool & makes the decor easier to swallow. Plus, im 90% sure a spirit or two dwell there...
Julio Vargas: The room was clean but completely outdated to include furniture, a/c unit (barely works), walls, ceiling, bath, the list can go on. The service at check in was good and again, they always keep their rooms in a high state of cleanliness. Please IHG Ft Bragg, make some up dates to these facilities, come on!
Tina Davis: I was caught between graduation parties on both sides at home while it was my weekend to work. As a nightshift worker I needed to go to sleep at the time the parties started. I called a few days to get a room. Though Moon Hall was not available I was offered a room at Normandy. I was pleasantly surprised because it was across the street from where I worked less than half a mile! The check in/out process was easy and the amenities were enough for my short stay. The room was a nice size with a separate sitting area with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and desk. The value add was the bathroom had a spacious walk-in shower. This is definitely the hidden gem of the post lodging.
Sofía Jurado: Good service, clean and friendly room for my family 😍
Donald Black: Nice clean place
Tablefor11: We booked a two bedroom room with three beds in an old run down building for the seemingly high price of $140 plus about $20 in taxes and fees. We checked in, got the keys, and drove over to our room only to discover that they can put us in a much smaller room with only one bed. I called the front desk clerk who couldn’t have cared less (and who took nearly ten minutes to even check us in because she was on a personal phone call in the bathroom). She said we could check out and drive into town to find something else. It was almost 9pm and we had been driving for 13 hours so that was not an option. One member of our group got the bed, one a loveseat, and one had some blankets piled on upholstered dining chairs. Yeah. They did offer to reduce the rate from what we booked to what we got. I just received the email receipt and they didn’t even do that. I could understand the room we booked not being available but what I don’t understand is why didn’t they take a moment to call to let us know or even just mention it at check in if they absolutely couldn’t call? Had we known we could have stayed somewhere else, no big deal.

Ralph Loftin: Most unprofessional staff I have ever dealt with. This place was misrepresented online, was not advertised that it was under construction upon booking, none of the amenities advertised online were available. The Manager didn't even identify himself, t-shirt, no name tag, and very unfriendly to guests. Will never stay in another hotel from this branch again thanks to this guy.
Ruby: If I could give zero stars, I would. When I made this booking, nothing was said about construction that would be going on during our stay. We expected the pool to be open, the gym to be open and for there not to be construction. The manager was also extremely rude. At least I assume he was the manager, none of the staff had name tags on.Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More

Gary Gearhart: Avoid this hotel at all cost. It's under renovation. I made reservation months ago and was not aware of this. 1st as we walked in the front entrance foam was falling in our hair from work being done right under the obstacle course to get in the front door. Then the lobby was a complete disaster area with barely a walkway especially toting a suitcase. I expressed my displeasure at the front desk person that was checking us in. Then the "owner cones out and is extremely rude and says well we canceled your rreservations. This hotel should not even be open for business with the current state. I have stayed at this hotel many times but will NEVER again.
