Matt Sink: Went here after a wedding and were having a good time. They closed a hour early and then they were extremely rude about everyone still in there waiting for a ride. Then the security came out trying to pick a fight with someone that had enough drinks. But the way security of this place acted was uncalled for. They said we were entitled and thought we could do whatever we wanted. They then came out like they wanted to fight and they are paid to be security and they were far from that. Will NEVER go back to this place...
M. Abbott: Very enjoyable eatery that makes me want to return for more. Local landmark restaurant with an interesting history that helps explain its name. Within easy walking distance of the Army Airborne and Special Ops Museum.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Langley Jimenez: Sat at bar area which smelled strongly of cat litter. Bar area and bathroom area were both unclean and in need of an upgrade. You can still keep the historic charm of an establishment and maintain cleanliness levels. Host staff was great. Bar staff was ok. Food was ok. Beer I got tasted like dirty tap lines. Also there were 2 bartenders and a big lined up group who was instructed to only order from one of them on one end of the (mostly empty) bar. Seems like management could use some training and bar could use a refresh.
Nathalie Roussel: There's a server there that is way over the top "dynamic" and speaks so loud it feels like he's yelling at you...We had to leave. It's a beautiful place, though.
lup: Good fun!Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Jack Carello: Absolutely Awesome Restaurant! Very good food. Well decorated interior; especially with the lights. There is a bar. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. Without doubt Huske Hardware is a great restaurant.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Larry White: My Masonic organization had a horrible experience at Huske on 6/18/2023. We booked a reservation (Paid a $50.00 deposit) a month ago for 30-50 ppl. Upon arrival after a Masonic church event (men in black suits, ladies in all white dresses) we were told to wait outside in the heat. Instead we sat inside like everyone else waiting to be seated. We were then told that we would be seated outside to dine. Even though there were at least 15-20 open tables on the inside both up stairs and down stairs. When I asked the manager "Trevor" about all the empty tables inside, he stated that " The band was setting up and there was a Woodpeckers baseball going on and some of the fans might come and will need those seats". My response: "We're here now and you want us to be seated outside because the fans from the game might stop by and want to sit inside"? Trevor's response: Yes. My party and I (All African Americans) were shocked and left immediately. We refused to patronage a restaurant where we weren't welcomed. I was later told by a member of this party that a similar incident had occurred previously so, there's a pattern! The events of today at Huske Hardware definitely had a racial undertone. If you're a person of color, I would think twice about dining here!
C O: The food is decent (not an awe experience) but is very expensive for the quality and taste. I would give a 3 stars. The waitress was super awesome!Food: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Roderick Landreth: Good bar, fun vibes- I do love the brick and wood and the brewing basins in back- but food was a little underwhelming and the waiters were juggling for a long while. It could have been having an off day, it does sound like they can get rowdy at night so I'll have to go back to check out night life.Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Trevor Knotts: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Susan Brimmer: Wonderful food! Amazing service!! The bathrooms do not match the quality of the rest of the building. Everything else was excellent!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

MELISSA Dossantos: MY HUSBAND'S RETIREMENT PARTY WAS AT THIS LOCATION!!! STAFF WAS INCREDIBLY HELPFUL!!! FRIENDLY AND KIND!!! DEFINATLY WILL GO BACK!!!! THANKS TO THE GENTLEMAN BARTENDER WHO WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO MAKE OUR GUESTS FEEL AT HOME!!! FOOD WAS FABULOUS!!!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Steve Solano: This place has decent food at a decent price but was lacking of anything special including service. Despite being downtown, there are few quality restaurants to choose from. Aside from military museum, this town is like so many that are now devoid of any historical uniqueness at the expense of "community activism", so we won't be back.Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

The Friend's Table: what do users think?
shadea mcelvine: Ask for tanika. She was AMAZINGGG
La’Brasha Chanel: We came here for my sisters birthday today and really enjoyed it! The service and food was amazing. Our server Tanika took great care of us! We’ll definitely be coming back soon and recommend to our family & friendsFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Deviled Eggs …More
Amber hope: The staff and the ambience was perfect. Everyone was friendly and it was clean inside the restaurant. I ordered the Fried Deviled Eggs. I have never had them before so I am unaware as to how they are supposed to taste. They were okay. For the meal I ordered cat fish and grits. The sauce on the grits was perfect. However the fish not so much. It taste like that rubbery frozen fish that Walmart sells, and it had no season on it at all. Catfish is a fish that needs to be fresh when fried because of its texture. For almost 40 bucks. The fish should be a better quality fish. Overall it's a nice place to eat for brunch.
garybrnt87: If you want an outstanding atmosphere with some of the best food I've ever tasted and that includes my mama's cooking, (sorry mom). Go here! Courtney was a blast to work with. Thanks for a great evening!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Bacon Wrapped Salmon, Chicken and Waffles, Deviled Eggs, Shrimp Grits Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More

Brandon Reiter: I walked into this restaurant expecting great service with great food. While I experienced one of these things. The service here sucked. I witnessed the servers drop food on the floor multiple times. Other than that. The food was superb. The atmosphere was delightful. I just didn’t like the serviceFood: 4/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Shrimp Deviled Eggs …More
Candace Rain: Edited on 6/13/2023: this establishment has since closed. It's a nice place but not for a drink. I came twice already for to go drinks. The first time I got a Café Latte for $4.68 if I recall correctly. I wasn't expecting much but definitely not worth the size I got. Starbucks has a better tasting Café Latte and for that price I wouldve gotten at least a 12oz. The coffee also wasn't very good. The second time was a to-go tea. That came out to almost $7. 😳 Again, small for the price. I've been to other personally owned establishments that for that price at least gave you a cup worth it. I doubt the tea brand was a high end one.
LeeLee johnson: A little pricy for my budget Beautiful place I tried the shrimp and grits had a good taste I love onions and didn’t have any just a little over priced for what they offerRecommended dishes Shrimp Grits …More
Kyle Cardillo: Great food and great service! Everyone was really friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to seeing their new location soon.
Krystal Chavis: I’m not sure where to begin…well I knew visiting this place was gonna be 50/50, hit or miss type situation based on other reviews on other platforms. However, I was hoping the stars had lined up perfectly and we would have an enjoyable experience for my sister and I’s birthday. We went on a Thursday at 11:00. I believe our arrival time was perfect. We got there and it was not busy. My hopes of having a good experience quickly went up. Well, that didn’t last long. Upon looking the place didn’t look clean and there was no hostess. With it being our first time we didn’t know to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. I looked around for a table and proceeded to a table in the corner table. My sister went to the counter and after being ignored the girl and the ONLY girl working the counter finally acknowledged my sister. The worker told my sister we would need to order from the tablet. So after handing my sister a very nasty tablet, we proceed to try and order but nothing was happening. We give the tablet back to the worker and she proceeds to tell us “no this is just our menu for you to look. Once you decide you tell me and I’ll put your order in”. So after a miscommunication we look at the nasty tablet, tell her what we want, pay, and proceed back to our dirty table. We decided on chicken and red velvet waffles, fried devil eggs, shrimp n grits, and mimosa flights. We were determined to see this through and we have heard although the service was trash and the establishment small, the food was good. Our mimosas were ready first and we could immediately tell they were thrown together. The serving tray was wet and the mimosas themselves were warm. By this time they were starting to get pretty busy. In fact an elderly couple left after standing in line for quite some time. After about 40 minutes our food was ready but we had to go up to the counter to get it. The worker also failed to inform us they didn’t have any plates and everything will be served in to-go trays. She said this was because they were in the process of moving to another building so there are no plates. We open up our trays and begin to eat. The food was good. The chicken was fried a bit too hard and there wasn’t anything special about it. The red velvet waffles were really good as well as the fried devil eggs. Never had anything like that before so I was pleasantly surprised with this dish. The shrimp and grits were good as well and a very healthy portion. Overall, I will say what people are saying is true. Will I eat there again, I doubt it. $85 and my food was served in to-go containers, establishment needed a good clean, a hostess, someone clearing tables, couches removed from the middle, and better customer service. If you move the couches you can get a few more small tables in there. It was very tacky in my opinion. The chef is the only thing holding the place together but a successful restaurant cannot run on just that a lone. Hopefully wherever they are moving to will provide a better experience. But please take time to keep your restaurant clean and hire good people with good attitudes especially for the level of food you are serving. This level of food is in my opinion high end and it should be treated as such. From the front of the house to the back. Good luck.
Eric Messmer: Waited 45 mins to receive a tough chicken sandwich and overly salted mac and cheese.
Ebony Bell: Pros: Shrimp & grits, mac & cheese and french toast tasted amazing.Mimosa float was good. Enjoyed the flavors. Overall Food presentation was good. Seem like nice pplCons: wait time (waited 30 mins just order and took 30 mins to get food)Small setting not enough tables to accommodate the crowd.Cleanliness was a 4/10 tables were dirty not wiped down properly. Floor was not swept.Watched the security guard go behind the counter and get ice for himself in his cup.Didn’t wash his hands or anything.Short staff need more help to keep the traffic following.Fried chicken was a little burnt and needed more seasoning
MJ B Galendez: My coworkers and I went here for a going away. There was about 7 of us that went. The wait is really bad here. We waited about 1 hour to be seated even with a reservation. We heard some good reviews so we waited. This place is rather small but looks like a fresh look considering other breakfast places here in Fayetteville. Once we got seated, they told us they don’t serve alcohol. We were counting on some mimosas. We opted for a variety of coffee choices. We ordered a variety of food which was delicious. The appetizer that stood out to me the most was the deviled eggs and the truffle fries. I ordered chicken and waffles with red velvet pancakes and that was delicious as well. The server was new and she did a good job at accommodating all our requests. Everything was delicious. Our party spent over $400 for breakfast as a group. Prices are a bit on the higher side for breakfast but I feel it is worth to give this place a try. The atmosphere is somewhat different than what we have here. I didn’t feel like I was still in Fayetteville. This is a place that I would definitely visit again. Just don’t come here hungry as the wait is long.
CRAIG REESE: My first time dining here! Absolutely worth the wait! Food was amazing and service was very fast! Very pleased!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Fried Deviled Eggs with Bacon, Chicken and Waffles, Deviled Eggs …More
Barbara Sargent: The food was amazing. Service was fast and staff were friendly. Fried deviled eggs and shrimp and a strawberry mimosa mouth wateringVegetarian options: Not sureKid-friendliness: There were kids there with their parentsParking: Downtown next to restaurantWheelchair accessibility: Ramp
Jay Pri: I’m happy that my Cuz stopped here for lunch! This place is amazing and I love the atmosphere. I’ll always be a supporter. Thanks for the great meal.
Miah Mitchell: I'm not one to bash business but this was ridiculous. Had to go up front for my own refill, as well as go inside to get my food.. basically my own waitress. Food was good and hot but presentation was messy and the wait time was ridiculous for the amount of people that were inside.
LeVet DuPree: Awesome spot. Great food and atmosphere. Try the bacon wrapped salmon!
AJ3 Show (The AJ3 Show): Kid-friendliness: Very friendly and food was so good
Wendy Irwin: Too small and cramped. Furniture didn't match. Food item different from online menu. No prices listed, therefore meaning expected 2be high, but gheeez! It was Extremely high. Was not expecting to spend $70 on a brunch that did not get me full. However the food was rather tasty and the presentation of it was great just not enough and my lunch was almost over by time I got one of my items. Service was slack. The advertised cocktails were not available and that's what my son wanted However I think he enjoyed his birthday gathering and fellowship with both grandparents and Mom.
Kia Kia: This food was GOOD! Literally worth our two hour drive and also the wait! Everything was prepared with thoughtfulness behind it! I really wish this was placed in Durham, NC! I feel like they need a slightly bigger location! I highly recommend and the service was great!
