Zakiya Bryant: If you are ever in Fayetteville, NC you must try Uptown's Chicken and Waffles. The food is absolutely amazing! Our server was a jewel and ensured we had everything we needed. When detailing my son's food allergies she was patient and made sure to cater to him having a good experience despite his food restrictions. We were a party of 7 with very different taste but each of us was beyond satisfied with what we ordered. So much so, after our 4 hour ride back home we all wished we had an Uptown's in our area. This was truely a great choice on our quick trip to NC. Our server was a jewel and ensured we had everything we needed.

Adam Mobile: The restaurant shares that they close on 5 p.m. Sunday I arrived here ten minutes before 5 and was told that they are no longer putting in orders. If they close at 4:30 that's what they should advertise
Jestean: And let's be clear - I can't rate the food because we didn't get that far! Even after a 45 minute wait in their hot lobby, my friend and I were determined to celebrate her birthday with this establishment. So we made our way inside to the Hostess stand and noticed the restaurant was damn near empty! and it was even hotter inside! The workers appeared third world and were not interested in acknowledging our presence at all. I think that they thought that they were invisible! I was over it, buuut my friend insisted the food would be worth the wait. So we waited and finally asked to be seated at the bar so she wouldn't pass out from heat exhaustion - we were told there would be another 30 minute wait for the empty bar! Bo! Soon after the manager walked by us with a hand written sign that said they would be closing at 4 pm and it was 3:30! He had 2 hours to tell us that but choose to walk by us once again and disappear into nothingness. We left quietly but I'm scarred.

Jaqueline Smith: WORST SERVICE EVER. I am just leaving after sitting for a whole hour and still not getting food. We ordered straight off the menu. 3 couples came in after us, one 30 minutes and they had their food. I was a first and last time customer. SERVICE SUCKED tonight.

Sheltrice Bryant: When u come into the location, lately workers are behind. Stood at the counter for 10 minutes waiting to order. The cashier took a call and walked off. So lady making sandwiches took my order and made my smoothie. I'm confused because I always shop at this location but they falling off. I guess phone calls are more important, Tham the customer in front of you!

Sarah Green: Went here for the first time in probably years and was let down. I got the same smoothie i always get and it was so bland. Like they used too much ice and not enough ingredients. Also i saw someone ask if they could have the left over from her smoothie and they were told no and then i watched the employee trash the leftover smoothie. Just seemed a little wasteful.

Zachary Henn: I’ve given this location three separate tries but every time I return I have the same issue. The smoothie is never blended all the way. I usually get the peanut butter cup and end up having a huge chunk of peanut butter that isn’t blended in along with big chunks of ice (see picture below). The smoothies are never filled up all the way either. About an inch short of the top of the cup. The staff is friendly but the smoothie is always subpar. Especially for almost $7.
Yaleska Gonzalez: Very rude and disrespectful employee. I was there on September 21th at 1pm try to order but not even a hello . They just kept working like I was not there. No customer service at all. I don’t recommend this place.

Malinda McLean Jones: I was introduced to this place by my daughter who tried it first. It was so good the first time and now I'm hooked. If you haven't tried the Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread, you should. I have now tried the Buffalo Chicken wrap. It's delicious. I think I have a new favorite. Very good! I BFF also tried a variety of their smoothies. My favorite is the Blueberry Bliss. 👍🏼👍🏼

Then the security came out trying to pick a fight with someone that had enough drinks. But the way security of this place acted was uncalled for. They said we were entitled and thought we could do whatever we wanted. They then came out like they wanted to fight and they are paid to be security and they were far from that. Langley Jimenez: Sat at bar area which smelled strongly of cat litter. Bar area and bathroom area were both unclean and in need of an upgrade. You can still keep the historic charm of an establishment and maintain cleanliness levels. Host staff was great. Bar staff was ok. Food was ok. Beer I got tasted like dirty tap lines. Also there were 2 bartenders and a big lined up group who was instructed to only order from one of them on one end of the (mostly empty) bar. Seems like management could use some training and bar could use a refresh.

Larry White: My Masonic organization had a horrible experience at Huske on 6/18/2023. We booked a reservation (Paid a $50.00 deposit) a month ago for 30-50 ppl. Upon arrival after a Masonic church event (men in black suits, ladies in all white dresses) we were told to wait outside in the heat. Instead we sat inside like everyone else waiting to be seated. We were then told that we would be seated outside to dine. Even though there were at least 15-20 open tables on the inside both up stairs and down stairs. When I asked the manager "Trevor" about all the empty tables inside, he stated that " The band was setting up and there was a Woodpeckers baseball going on and some of the fans might come and will need those seats". My response: "We're here now and you want us to be seated outside because the fans from the game might stop by and want to sit inside"? Trevor's response: Yes. My party and I (All African Americans) were shocked and left immediately. We refused to patronage a restaurant where we weren't welcomed. I was later told by a member of this party that a similar incident had occurred previously so, there's a pattern! The events of today at Huske Hardware definitely had a racial undertone. If you're a person of color, I would think twice about dining here!
