Monkee's of Fayetteville: what do users think?
Mary Michael Raynor: Amazing shopping and service!
Wanda Ennis: You will never meet a boutique clothing store staff as nice and helpful as they are in Monkee's of Fayetteville. They have a beautiful selection of upscales clothes, shoes and jewelry. And it's fun shopping there!
Misty McCorquodale: Best ladies clothing store in town. If you are looking for something professional or something for out on the town they have the best selection, not to mention, high quality clothing. The store has been under new ownership for over a year now and the new owner and ladies who work there are fabulous!
M Green: Are there real monkeys in this place? I thought they were at the zoo?
Makeeka Harris: I love this store. Only been once but I was warmly greeted and was helped immediately. I love the jacket that I bought. I will be returning.
Bethany Chavarria Haynes: Walked in and got completely ignored. Employee was helping another customer find an outfit. I wandered like a lost puppy throughout the store. Super awkward. No greeting or anything still. I felt so unwelcome that I didn’t want to even touch anything. After walking to the back to give the customer a dressing room the employee was just staring at me like I was going to steal or something! Never felt so crappy at a store for real. Lost out on a $60+ sale because I absolutely love quays sunglasses. Other than that clothing is going to cost you minimum $50 here for a blouse. Shame because they have cute stuff. Never again.
Lindsay Felker: Small boutique with great selection of jewelry.

Andrew Mitchell: I can't get enough of Clothes Mentor's selection. They have a wide range of sizes and styles, and I always find trendy pieces that make me feel like a fashionista.
Rachel Roberts: Clothes Mentor is a hidden gem for finding professional attire. As a young professional, I appreciate their selection of workwear that is both stylish and budget-friendly.
Emily wilson: Shopping at Clothes Mentor is a game-changer. I've completely transformed my wardrobe with their fashionable and affordable options. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, too.
Michael Davis: I love shopping at Clothes Mentor because I can find designer brands at affordable prices. It's like having a personal stylist without the hefty price tag.
Jennifer Thompson: Clothes Mentor is my go-to store for finding high-quality, gently-used clothing that fits perfectly. Their selection is curated and the staff is always ready to help.
Emily Wynn: i came in yesterday with 2 bags full of clothing some of the stuff i’ve never even worn before, and the lady took the bags and said i’ll get a text when i can come back so they can show me what they will and won’t buy from me well i got a text not even 15 minutes after leaving that they were ready for me to come in so i go back to the store and the lady upfront said they weren’t able to buy any of my clothing cause of it being “worn out” so i go on about my day til i take a second look at the bags i gave them, not a single clothing was removed from the bag, the bag looked exactly how it looked when i gave it to them, they didn’t even look at any of my clothing and i had some pretty decent brands in there like nike, tommy, calvin, simply southern, and champion, i just think that it was unprofessional and i won’t be returning
Emma Thompson: I absolutely love shopping at Clothes Mentor! Their selection is fantastic, with a wide range of stylish and high-quality clothing options. I always find something unique and trendy that suits my personal style. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent customer service. Clothes Mentor is definitely my go-to store for fashion-forward pieces.
Jalinn Hall: 0 stars! This store location was very rude to me, not the associates but the owner of the place. I went in there and ask the lady if they were accepting clothes still. She let me know they were. So as I’m coming in with my tote, the owner comes in as well. She asked me what brands are these clothes and I told her “I’m not sure there’s a lot” , she then ask me “who clothes are they?” And I told her my sister. She told me she cannot accept because they’re my sister and I told her good thing I lied because they’re actually mines. And she said, she still couldn’t accept. Reading this, lying is bad but because she was already asking questions as if she’s not accepting certain brands, and if you all could see the way she was looking at, I told her my sister because of the way I was dressed with baggy clothes and a bonnet, due to the rain. So she told me to leave and I did but to go read the police’s and terms and conditions and I did not find anything from what was reported to me, so I asked her for her policy and she said she doesn’t have one and then I asked for her cooperate number and she said she’s not providing me with anything and told me I’m not going to argue with you and she’ll have me escort out. After she said that the man that was “suppose to escort me out” just simply asked for the reason because I believe he knew what she did wasn’t right. I don’t want to say she was racist because she said she owned all of the stores around there but if she did there wouldn’t be any “black workers”. But all in this to say just be careful who you approach and make sure all rules, or policies are the same for everyone. She almost ruined my day.
Ligaya Hartman: No public bathroom and rude scowl-faced sales associate. Everything was organized very nicely and good selections. However, my shopping experience was cut short by having to leave the premises to find a bathroom for my 9-year-old son. There is no public bathroom, they directed me to the kids store next door who then corrected me that They too do not have a public bathroom. They were curt in there as well: " We are not a restaurant and we don't have to offer a bathroom for customers". Okay, but why the rude tone?I wonder if the Walgreens across the street knows that they direct people over to their store for the restrooms. Awful.
HJ J: First of all, the owner is extremely rude and judgemental. All of my items are from Alo, Lululemon, Polo and Fashionnova with tags, the owner said she wont accept any of my items from Fashionnova because its in junior size. It was in size 5 women's jeans. Take your clothes elsewhere if you want to sell. I would rather donate mine than selling at this place and get paid little. The owner will make way more profits than what you get paid.+ They sell designer purses and shoes, the owner said she wont take any times that are over two years but all of the items seems like they are way over two years.😉
Ginny Meadows: I got a unsolicited Indeed message from the owner Karese asking me if would be interested in coming to work with her. I responded stating we could talk about it. She called me on April 24 for a phone interview. Everything went well. My in person interview was the next day before 7 pm. I told her I had a couple of friends looking for jobs, they came with me. I got my interview & I was to start on May 1 at 10:30 am. Once I arrived, I encountered the owner Karese outside next to a customers car, in the handicapped space with all the items the customer she brought on top of the customers car! The customer was very respectful toward Karese. Karese took the woman's property & shoved them in the partially rolled down window where the dog was also waiting in the back. The customer looked at me and said she only needed $20 to return her rental truck and do I know of any other places that will take her items. Then an employee from Clothes Mentor came out & gave the customer a pen & paper to write down her number and the employee left. Karese called the police on the customer, getting the license plate numberetc. I was left in the store by myself, with no training, no login, nothing as Karese went to Platos Closet to train someone who just stated there that morning too. Karese never got my information, so I never got paid. I never went back.
Nicole Rogers Grey: If you’re going to Plato’s or Closet Mentors to sell you gently used clothes, don’t! I had a tote full of clothes from LAST YEAR. Men’s jeans, women’s shoes, rompers, dresses, all from last year, all big name brands! Vans, American Eagle, etc. Probably $300+ worth of clothes. They bought 3 things that still had the tags on them for $10 🤢 what a joke of a store complex! Said they weren’t “up to date”, okay, shop around their store and see what exactly they call “up to date” 🙄Just to be clear, I’ve sold clothes here before. I used to get $60-$80 after cleaning out my closet year after year. One time I got $130! And they would buy at least 80% of what I had brought in. These stores have definitely gone south. Yeah they have a large inventory, but they only buy something they can sell almost full price or something totally out of date, dirty and torn. Gross!Owner/Manager whatever she is, is totally rude and needs to learn some people skills. I work as an assistant manager in a restaurant and I don’t care how rude you are to me. I’ll always try to make the situation better. She’s just down upright rude and acts like she’d rather be anywhere else.
danielle ruth: Found some cute items but disappointed when trying to sell my items. The owner said my pieces were considered juniors even in fact they were nice items that came from Women clothing companies. There were more trendy items so maybe there was some confusion. Nonetheless upsetting lol
Dereka Robinson-Jordan: I visited Clothes Mentor on Thursday 3/30/23 (around 12noonish) I was very disappointed. The “sales associate” that received my item to sale was curt and not personable at all. I gave her my State issued, when it was returned to me, I had my hand out for it but she put it on the counter instead. I have been to several Clothes Mentors in Maryland & Virginia & never had a problem. I will not be returning.
Stuart Pauley: This is a fantastic store. It's spotless, well-organized, and full of kind and helpful employees. You can get fantastic stuff at very affordable prices in this location. I've been to other Clothes Mentor shops in Minnesota, but the Fayetteville branch is by far the best. Highly suggested!
Nancy Wildollar: The clothes at Clothes Mentor are always in fashion and never out of style!
