Best Donut Shop Fayetteville Near Me

Stephanie Wingate: I am not one to complain or reach out about things not being perfect. However, we just moved to the area and are on a tight budget so this was a treat for my family. When I arrived to the store on Skibo Rd in Fayetteville, NC there was one customer ahead of me. I thought “fantastic they aren’t busy and this will be great”. Wrong. I waited 15 mins for this box of donuts that was a melted hot mess. I watched them put the hot greasy donuts in the box and start pouring toppings all over them. We had to wait about 2 hours for them to cool just so we could get them out of the box. To our surprise the donuts were overcooked and not even worth it. I was so disappointed I used a treat we aren’t able to do very often on these “treats”. I I hope this can further help with training so this doesn’t spoil someone else’s treat. I’m ok if that’s the type of donuts that people like and maybe want. But it’s not the donuts that are shown and it’s misleading.

Shenita Branson: I've been here a couple of times, and both times, I was welcomed warmly no sooner I walk through the door.They have a huge menu with so many donuts that, at times, are a bit overwhelming. Someone like me who is used to going to places like Krispy Kreme (because that's what I grew up with), and they don't have anywhere close to a menu like Duck Donuts! I wished I knew about them sooner! The service I get from Duck Donuts, Krispy Kreme has NEVER treated me with care and respect!Duck Donuts makes EVERY donut fresh and made to order. I love that! That fresh, warm donut is absolutely delicious to my taste buds! Granted 2.50, a donut is pricey, but when I eat 2 of their donuts, I feel like I've eaten 2 donuts! Krispy Kreme takes almost 6 to feel like I've had donuts. Their donuts are just plain sugar and no bread! Saying that, I will continue to go to KK only because I get rewarded quicker for a free dozen than Duck Donuts. The people in my family love KK, and I get it. They are good... but Duck Donuts is BETTER!

Faith Coltharp: Order donuts today and when they showed me the donuts one of them was made incorrectly. I politely said on this one should be a sprinkle and the girl then scoffed and walked away to complained about the man at the register ringing it up wrong and then remade the donut. She handed it to another worker to hand me the box which the other worker did. I then waited for a lid as they passed out the other finished orders. The girl who handed me my box told another worker to get me a lid and then they argued about who had to give me a lid. (Note the box full of lids right on the counter near me). The girl who handed me the box finally grabbed a lid put it halfway on and said well you got a lid at least it’s halfway on. The customer service was subpar by far.

tobias groneveldt: Never in my life will I purchase anything from Dunkin’ again. I went to this location this morning and I was accused of stealing money from their tip cup. First and foremost, I work and serve this country. The manager on duty, Alexis was extremely rude to me, as I explained to her that it was not me that she accused of stealing money from their tip cup. In the video she showed me, there was an African American male that looked nothing like me. We don’t even have same build or facial features. Consequently this resulted in me having to call the police since they didn’t want to. At the end, she and her associates stated that they might have mistaken my identity. They refused to serve me and I she never issued an apology. I am mortified by this situation because I was falsely accused and their were other customers that witnessed this situation. The manager on duty Alexis and her staff need to be held accountable for their actions.

Jordie Eli: DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. The manager and new staff here is extremely rude. My husband and I have been regular customers at this location for the past 2 years. Yesterday morning we went through the drive thru to order our coffee and food as usual and whoever was taking our order said she could not hear us when I ordered. So I spoke louder knowing she could definitely hear me that time. I asked her politely if she could hear me better and she rudely responded “no I cannot hear you” in a condescending tone. So I repeated myself once again even louder if she could hear me and she said “SURE” once again with an attitude. We asked to speak to the manager and when we got to the window we told her how rude the person was taking our order and the manager shrugged her shoulders and walked away. I would give them 0 stars if I could. I don’t know what type of people this Dunkin Donuts location has been hiring lately, but they have lost my business due to the extremely unprofessional/rude customer service.

Whitney A: I needed a simple red velvet cake for a family members birthday celebrations and found Burney’s online. I went in person on a early Friday afternoon to place the order, the girl taking my order seem new because she didn’t seem to know what was going on when writing my order down. I was told to email my inspiration picture because the lady taking my order didn’t know how to describe it and I would say the decorations idea was simple. I emailed the picture, set pick up for Monday at noon, paid for the cake in advance, and left out. An hour goes by and I notice the email didn’t go through, so I called the store back and asked if they could verify they received my email but the lady that answered the phone said she didn’t have access to the email and the person would call me back. Well I never received a call back, until I gave them at 8am Monday morning to make sure they got the picture. On the phone call Monday morning a young lady informed me the person who controlled the email was still not in work but assured me my cake would be ready by noon. I go in at noon to pick up the cake and I was just baffled by the presentation. It was so sloppy and had icing missing from the bottom at the cake board but I had to accept the cake because I had to have it to the celebration 30 minutes later. Once I took it out the cake box you can see places were the icing was put on thick enough and could see the red velvet underneath and it was sliding off the cake board. We cut into the cake and taste like it had been frozen and smelled like cardboard. I feel like my cake was rushed and just slapped together.

Tina Davis: This week was the first time I learned of this establishment. We are celebrating National Laboratory Week at the hospital and I found an eight foot table covered in boxes of pastries from Burney's. I took a few and was amazed at how fresh and delicious they were. I am not sure if they come with a next day, freshness guarantee but I took a few again this morning and it felt as if it was fresh from the bakery. Great job! I hope to visit in person soon to see the entire selection.

Jeannie Nelson: These donuts were terrible. I called the store to express my disappointment and give the store a chance to make it right,and the person on the phone said “thank you” after I told her all of the reasons the donuts were bad. The glaze had all but dissolved on the plain glazed, the powdered sugar on the jellies looked wet where there still was any and the Bavarian filled had a coffee taste to them. Lakecia Rose: Placed a mobile order so I could run in and pick up. They closed the dine in area and refused to hand the ready order through the door. They insisted I go through the backed up drive thru just to pick up my order. I know this is an indication they were short staffed, but a mobile order/curbside pickup could have been quickly handed out the door. Disappointed.

Of course, I stopped him after he was done and told him I was not eating it and give me a refund. So just be careful with who services your food.

Javi-Marie Orina: I go to this location frequently. I often get a customized iced coffee or latte. I would say that they’re polite and helpful. I often take my toddler in-store. Twice, they have given him some munchkins as a gift. That was very thoughtful.The downside is that some mornings, around 7am, the wait time is unusually long.
