I dont have to directly engage with you in regards to my review to legitimize my findings as this is my review not your paid sponsorship. I am apart of a review and service board for our church and after reviewing the service invoice compared to service rendered with comparison of market prices, that is what has prompted this review. The invoice has already been paid but the service is questionable based on what we needed and what services we received. From the markup on materials, the questionable amount of materials and type used and that old parts were left in place instead of disposal after completion of job. It required multiple contacts and explanation to different parties in your employment to even get the job going for a bypass and replumb job in a open access space. This review is backed by multitude of based facts. Thank you for your time.One can not put a value on someone's labor especially when you have no experience but parts are another story. This last job that was completed most if not all the supplied parts were over priced double if not 4x the current retail value. I'm all for supporting local business but when the dollar is more important than the service and customer satisfaction I would ask for a up front itemized cost before accepting service as we could have saved a good amount if we were allowed to source the parts instead of getting a up charge on their commonly source parts.Edit for response:I indeed have the correct company albeit my name is not on the invoice and as with all my reviews I did some research before making my statement and there is a substantial markup on parts for services rendered and most consumers will not take the time to research parts but when a 4 dollar part is charged at over 200% markup it seems to be more about profit margins than the service. My review is based on fact not opinion the invoice reflects some unreasonable markups considering the labor rate already in use. Kimberly Quarta: The service was done in a timely manner, very nice technician. Initially the technician was a bit unsure of pricing. Aqua is requiring all homeowners with backflow devices to have them inspected. The tech was maybe there about 10 minutes. I had a small leak out of one of the valves and he stated it couldn't be repaired and I needed to replace the whole entire unit. The price started at $1200 to $1500. Then they stuck with the high end of the price range. I could be wrong, but I had someone else come out and stated that valve could be replaced. Wendell Anglin: Had a plumbing emergency at 11:30 pm at home in Fayetteville. Searched the internet for a company with good reviews and decided to call Mike's plumbing since they stated 24/7. Called the number and got the voice-mail. Since know answer and figured that they wouldn't call back, they didn't. I just left a message stating that I would like to schedule an appointment. They called back at 6:39am and I returned call at 8:22 am. Told them who I was and they stressed that I called at 11:30 pm. I said you stated 24/7, I was told that its for an emergency not convenience. Told that I did/do have any emergency and left the message to schedule since no answer. The attitude this morning was nasty and keep saying 24/7 is for emergency, which I had. l told them with the attitude, I don't need service. They responded back and said we don't need your service. Don't let the message on the truck fool you " Doing business as Jesus would ". Terrible attitude and no way to talk to a customer even if they call 24/7 with or without an emergency. I'm in the service industry and I wouldn't talk to a customer or potential customer even if they are wrong. So if you call them after hours, be sure to say it's an emergency even though you are trying to be considerate they may not call back since it's late. Richelle Ross: Screaming a huge THANK YOU to Michael for coming out to my home and inspecting the possible work that needed to be done after we received an OUTRAGEOUS quote from @Blanton's plumbing (over $15k). They claimed I needed to remove the pipes from under my house and ultimately replace them. My house flooded upstairs due to a backup, and the water ran all night. I had just received an unbelievably high invoice from the mitigation company to remove all damage and dehumidify, so I already felt defeated. But then Blanton's came and kicked me while I was down. I'm so thankful that someone referred us to Mike's Plumbing for a second opinion. He came straight out, spent 10 minutes in my house, checked all the pipes, and said, "you just had a backup. your pipes do not need replacing."
