They are both extremely polite, professional, fast,courteous, and knowledgeable! I had a few questions and without a pause they were answered immediately. That makes a homeowner feel GREAT about the company not trying to take advantage. Woods Plumbing is the ONLY place I will trust. I do want to add that 2 other very well known companies came out and diagnosed the clog as a belly or burst pipe. Obviously thats a huge price tag! Forever thankful and grateful to Woods Plumbing! I would give 10 stars if I could!.

Brian Tyler: I can highly recommend Woods. They have been able to handle jobs no one else could. Today I had a leak to repair, in far corner under a sunken tub with granite top with no apparent access. Donnie and Jalin were the techs who found the way to fix it.Last year, gas company determined I had a gas leak in the piping after the meter -- NO ONE else was even willing to attempt the job. My plumber suggested Woods Plumbing. Woods expertly made the repairs (by pressuring the line to find the leaks, which determined piping connections into and out of the meter were not connected/sealed correctly - every joint was leaking! They disabled and reconnected/sealed everything (gas company had recently replaced meter and didn't seal the multiple piping connections into and out of the meter! The repair should have been on gas company, but they incorrectly "determined" by sensor that a leak was after the meter and refused to fix or help in any way). Woods came through!

Ehen I was quoted a price of $213 I asked why it was so much. I was told the washer packet packets cost $ $30 for each washer box that was replaced. It took 15 minutes at the most for the repair. A few days later, I notice a pulsing in the water and it shut off in the middle of my shower. I called McKenzie Plumbing on Monday, Mac came out Tuesday Morning in pain from a back injury. He found a partial blockage and fixed it. Very professional and dedicated to customer service.Lost power early Christmas Eve morning. Light in the pump house was out and the water I left running to prevent freezing stopped. When the power came on my pump motor was running, but no water. Called McKenzie Plumbing and the office staff put me in touch with Mac who tried to come that day, but didn't have all the parts he needed for the repair. I was disappointed, but not unprepared for that eventuality. He made the repairs the Monday after Christmas and did an great job. Although the first was positive in regards to the workmanship of the employee that came, there were a few issues I didn't cover that I saw as less worth mentioning. They said to expect arrival between 8 and 12, to which he showed up before 12. During his stay, he receive calls from his employer, telling him to hurry up and get to the next job. I contacted them for a second go round And told them I need someone who could stay and work and not be called off. Once again I was told to expect them between 8 and 12. Once again they showed up just before 12. I wanted the leak fixed and an estimate done, and before he could hurry off to his next job, he gave me I'll look around my leak and glanced under the crawl space for less than a minute. He did not give me the inspection I wanted, and told me couldn't do the work unless I scheduled it ahead of time. He said, I'd be contacted for the estimates for both jobs by the end of the day. 2 days have passed and I have yet to hear from them. My assessment of their practices, leads me to believe that they do not take time to serve clients, but rather do jobs as fast as possible to move on to the next. I ordered a tank through Home Depot and needed installation. HD subs out to another plumber who told me it would be a minimum of 1k but more likely to be 1500.00 to install a 50 gallon tank. We just replaced ours at home and that price seemed a bit high. I let them know I’d be looking for someone else and they wished me luck.I searched for plumbers in the Spring Lake NC area and started calling in hopes of finding one who was available and not looking to price gouge.I called James the Plumber. Something stood out about him immediately. Although I reached voicemail, his message said to text him. Jacob Desjarlais: Blanton's send out a guy named Jason. He didn't listen to anything I was saying and kept trying to create huge jobs like running an entirely new water main line, even though it absolutely was not needed. He quoted me a range of price from $4000 to $7000 and told me that the only difference between the two prices was the cost of the disposal being either a 1/3 hp or 1 hp. When I asked what disposal has a 3000 dollar price difference he just shrugged and said he doesn't set the prices.Jason told me with a straight face that any disposal under $750 would rust within a few months and be useless, the only real disposals to use cost around $1100. He also said it would cost between $500 and $1000 to fix an outdoor spigot. They literally screw on and off.I've had issues with Blanton's before, but they were always quick to fix the problem or make it right. But a $7k quote for what every other plumber quoted me at $1500 for is ridiculous. They tried to do massive work on my house when not needed to just add money to the bottom line, then they tried to sell me an ELEVEN year financing plan. Ridiculous.I called them because I'm having a baby and don't have time to do the work myself and instead they give this absolutely insane quote.
