Richard Obritis: Dropped off my 400 mopar block in January.I know they were busy as I wasn't in a hurry to do the machine work.Left a deposit and called to see if they would use a torque plate for my build.He said he didn't have one and said he would check with a friend.He said he will call me later on in the week.2.5 weeks later,never heard hide nor hair from him.I called today,may 3rd,to see if he found one, hfound out he didn't have luck.I said that I would buy one just knock it off my bill.They said they don't really have a use for one.I said so you were going to final hone my race engine without one ?They said yeah.Picked up my stuff and left a bad taste in my mouth.This guy don't call you back I guess unless it's time to collect !

Larry Croft: Somewhere between 12 and 15 years ago my 1995 S10 needed a full engine rebuild. I happened to be working on a job at FSU & had my truck towed to Nathans. Being the very best auto repair shop in the entire area (IMO) Nathan told me my engine needed a full rebuild. He strongly recommended Moffitt Machine Co. Moffitt did the work and for over 250 thousand miles my engine has been literally PERFECT running. No oil burning no leaks excellent performance best MPG I had ever gotten. If i was not always traveling and in a hurry (80 mph avg on Interstates) my 4 cylinder would probably have lasted longer than 250K - but now i hear a rod knock indicating i must have spun a rod bearing. It is not too bad but i am not going to risk it. I live in Georgia and my ace mechanic here told me to let whomever rebuilt my 2.2L inline 4 cylinder chevy S10 motor DO IT AGAIN. He also recognized the excellent performance with the long hard miles i had put on my engine. Long story longer I live about 300 miles away from Moffitt & i would. not let any other shop rebuild my engine. There will be a 6 week wait - but when I want the proven best - so i am willing to wait. Charles Krick: Had my truck for 4 months, just to rebuild the engine, got it back and The transmission, rear oil seal and power steering pump all leaking, took it back to them twice to fix it right, both times got it back leaking, and honestly can't tell if they rebuilt the engine! Terrible customer service, and horrible work, who ever they have to pull out and put in motors for them is either on crack or just plain doesn't know what they are doing! Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money somewhere else!

Samantha Wood: Pat the mechanic is my ex-husband. We grew up together since the age of 13. Itell you that, because even at 13 yrs old, he was working on cars. Pat knows everything about a car. My break lights were stuck on and he said exactly what was the issue, without even looking at my car! When I got to the shop today to see him, he looked at it and he was right. Took him 10 mins. He has always been my mechanic, even after our divorce. If your car or truck is having issues, go see him!!!! You'll be happy that you did !

Derek Baneblade: It's been 3 weeks and no reply to my request for service. Place looks like a forgotten shed in the middle of a junk yard...very suspect!
Matthew Prince: Had my box truck for over 3 months and still never found and fixed the problem. My truck was experiencing acceleration loss, loss of power on the slightest hills, and heavy fuel consumption, after being told what they thought is was and paying to have it fixed it seems as if it drives worse than before dropping it off to them. Loud noises while driving and now there's a pipe under the hood that seems to have smoke coming from it that no one could explain why and it wasn't like that before. The service and communication was very poor, I asked if they could keep me informed at least once a week and nothing unless I called them or if they had to charge me for a part or labor then I would get a call but was never sure on what they was diagnosing or fixing. It started with the turbo, to the Y pipe, to the fuel pump, and still after all that the truck drives the same if not worse. Will definitely be looking into legal action following this. I was kind, patient, and respectful throughout the entire time they had my truck but at the end of it all no concrete results on the issue and the truck seems as if nothing was done despite the work they claimed they done. I expected great work from them and they basically wanted to wash their hands clean with me and was told the truck was man made what do you expect, I was left in shock and after months of lost revenue for my business waiting on what I thought would be a solved issue resulted in misdiagnosed problems and random fixes. Definitely don't recommend for any repairs.

Simple Truth: Just had my 2019 max in for a fuel injector replacement. So far it's great. Nice to have a repair shop for Diesel's that get ya in and back on the road again.

He had other vehicles ahead of my but the took time to look at my vehicle. they were very friendly and knowledgeable on my vehicle . they took my vehicle in the shop less than 30 minutes. I had originally had an appointment with the dealership for 3 weeks and they could not fix it. The dealership wanted just throw parts at it hopping to fix it with a whooping bill. Pat and his guys had me in and out less than an hour with very reasonable price. I am so thankful to them and will use his service again. Thank You again Pat

rugboot88: Phenomenal family owned shop!!! Our 2004 f-250 6.0 powerstroke broke down after a long trip pulling a trailer back from Colorado. Pat diagnosed the issue within 10mins of being at the shop. Turned out to be a Cracked cylinder head, and blown head gasket. Pat and crew worked through Xmas and the new year to get our truck back to us as quickly as possible.Ended up getting it bulletproofed and tuned. If you do some research you will not find another shop with their prices and level of workmanship. Pat sent us detailed pictures and videos on an almost daily basis showing the entire repair process, including bulletproofing the truck and tuning it. ( Truck drives brand new and is quick as hell!). Pat even addressed some rust issues he found underneath our cab for free!Beth( Pats wife) who is an absolute sweetheart was timely with all my invoices and provided a detailed break down of every part needed for the truck, including an accurate schedule of how long the repairs would take. She had the answers to all my questions and made this process extremely easy for me.We will definitely be coming back to this shop for any future work on our truck. If you want the best prices, best workmanship, and the feel of a mom and pop shop that will treat you like family then check this shop out!!!! Pat is an absolute powerstroke wizard and will get the most performance out of your engine, and have your truck running better than the day you bought it!

Jose Confesor: I am leaving a review as a buyer from this seller. I bought a car from these guys for 5k. They provided paperwork that the car was inspected. What they sold has issue over issue. I already spend over 3k in repairs in a month from the purchasing date. It had multiple oil leaks, the belt broke during the reinspection because of the ac (the belt and the ac had to be replaced) the left turning light didn’t work (had to get a new computer for that because it wasn’t a lightbulb), smoke from the engine, and now the engine over heats whenever I drive it to a point that the engine alarm sounds. I barely drive this car; 15 mins each day. Now I have to spend more money. The car has been to three repair shops. Buyers beware what these guys sell. I am selling this car. The family is nice, but don’t sell a car that said it was state inspected and then days later it had issues. I barely drive it, and there is issue over issue. One issued is fine. A couple hundreds is fine, but over 3k over a 5k car is unacceptable in a month, and the car was in a shop for weeks waiting for a computer part from another repair shop, so I didn’t drive it for two weeks. I am beyond aggravated.
