Yura Shabe: Good place to go and be alone and be with god pray
Giancarlo Acosta: This place is dirty and it sticks. The little dock for fishing is super dirty and the kids wanted to leave right away. Will not go back again.

Rhodes Pond: what do users think?
Ed Moon: They are currently in the early stages of constructing a new dam at the 301 bridge. Once this is complete and the pond fills back up this will be a beautiful place again.Shame on the state for allowing this wonderful place to fall into such neglect.Update: Lots of construction going on now. Access to the bridge/dam area is restricted while they work.
Robert Schob: They drained the lake a few years ago to remove the old dam. Construction on the replacement is finally underway. I know this was supposedly a colonial era (Outlander) lake, but it's such a pity this will all be back under 4 or 5 feet of water in another year. The natural run of the Black River and backwater marsh is phenomenal habitat with great kayaking, and great fishing from shore along both stretches of the old dike, which are both an easy walk from the old boat ramp). It's as beautiful in its natural state as it ever was as a dammed up river and cypress lake. And the state could have saved us a fortune in tax dollars by simply putting in a couple of miles of trails and overlooks, and move the boat access from where it is now to the river channel, where you could have gone down or up river as you please. Would have made a great state park. Such a waste. Enjoy the marsh wildlife while you still can.
Mark Johnson: Under construction for God knows how long.... Doesn't look like it's ever gonna get finishedNice spots to fishStill waiting for the fish to bite tho
Sharon Myers: Not even started or finished.
TheDevilguy04: Is seemingly under construction. Nothing to do here. No places to fish, walk,
Elizabeth Williams: I'm disappointed at how they let this place go down, I used to like it.
Mr Bill: I couldn't find the water looks dried up.
Carmen “Haazel” Perez: Sadly not much of a pond anymore. Barely anything left.
Frank Hinson: Unfortunately the pond itself is no longer there. The storms a couple of years ago broke the dam and it hasn't been repaired yet.
B Breutinger: The access to this pond is closed. There is very little parking on the side of the road. No way to launch a boat as the dock is in sad repair. Still beautiful though.
Dale Jarvis: Old Mill Pond
Kori Blumer: I go here once a week to fish more prominent catches are bowfin but there is a possibility for bass and catfish.
Aaron Partin: They really need to fix this place

McFayden Lake: what do users think?
Carolyn Batton: I live here near the lake. The lake is not taken care of. You cannot eat the fish for years now. Never cleared that up. Where drainage ditch drains in lake. They don't take care of. Therefore, the ditch gets stopped up and overflows and depletes property owner's yard. This ditch creates alot of mosquitoes. They had the area rezone, therefore the city can't touch. This ditch needs to be piped to protect people's property and also eliminate health hazards. They need to dredge the lake and make sure sewage is not seeping into the lake. Right now it is drained and it is not as deep as it used to be. It has a green tint to it and it smells. The lake is affecting our air quality. McFadden Lake association, whoever you are need to do something. Alot of us property owners are tired of these problems. Also, there is a tree that needs to be trimmed shading out my yard and is heavy with limbs on one side. If it ever falls as big as it is. It would takeout my house. McFadden Lake needs to take of it and other trees out here before they become a problem. You cannot talk to anyone for McFadden Lake. Yeah..mmm..
Spot !: Love it
Nicolas Rodriguez: Beautiful private lake, doesn't even feel like you're in Fayetteville anymore.
James Batton: Looking like a car lot
Sherry Smith: I'm surprised how many people still don't understand that this is a private lake. With all the signs all around it you'd think it would be obvious.
Tracy Gray: Pretty. Was looking for a place to fish for later with the kids. Just a place to walk and relax and think. Wanted a place so I could write my book. So will definitely come back and enjoy the scenery.
