Hidden Lake: what do users think?
Tiffani Ware: I enjoyed speaking with the leasing office. Arlene was very helpful in explaining the application process. The community was beautiful and the upgrades were absolutely spectacular. I would recommend this place to anyone.
DongDong Xu: I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Hidden Lake Apartments. The management team has been unresponsive and the overall maintenance of the property is disappointing. From the moment I moved in, I encountered issues with my dishwasher, which took an entire month to be repaired. This lack of prompt attention to maintenance requests is unacceptable.Furthermore, the gym facilities have been in disrepair for months, with broken equipment and no signs of repair or replacement. The non-functional air conditioning in the gym is a major inconvenience, particularly during hot weather.Additionally, the noise disturbance caused by late-night carpet replacement work during a tenant move-out was highly disruptive, showing a disregard for residents' comfort and well-being.The lack of cleanliness in the mailroom is also concerning, with trash often scattered on the floor and no apparent efforts to maintain hygiene.I cannot recommend Hidden Lake Apartments due to the management team's lack of responsiveness and the ongoing maintenance issues. This has significantly impacted my living experience and I believe it falls far short of the expected standards for a residential community.
Alex Izzy: Unfortunately, this place is better than the management. They charge you for every little things you suppose to have but don’t when you are moving out. Those things are not on the check list either. I only lived there for 4 months and they charge you $150 for carpet cleaning fee. They say “ we charge them regardless”. That makes no sense. Carpets are brand new and they were left in a great condition. Place 5 stars but management needs an improvement.
Brooke Busick: Responded to our residential verification request in a timely manor! These days that is so appropriated!!
Chelsea Moritz: This place is a joke... Ive been here 60 days and still cant get a replacement or new dish washer, i have no hot water for who knows how long and the staff is rude..Dont move here... Im about to give my 30 day notice. Also when i first moved in the place wasnt even cleaned.
Destiny Boone: This neighborhood is nice!! I don't live here however I did a cleaning job here and I was so pleased with the environment. Very clean outside areas. And the way the apartments are structured was very nice and beautiful. It's a place I would love to live if I needed to relocate.
Miranda Ackerley (Empress): Used to be nice-new management no longer cares enough to clean up or enforce rules
Keenan Yates: Easily one of the most unprofessional leasing groups I've worked with. They're nice people but spread super thin. Since they've changed hands so many times I think that the staff has had difficulty keeping up with the systems in place and barely able to manage what their corporate people demand out of them. With only one office person they're almost never able to answer calls and emails. Renovations are probably okay in the new apartments but I haven't gotten any in mine so I just have the noise all around. They do updates to the outside which is good. Corporate has introduced tiered pricing for how long you sign your lease, which is bad. Sure, it may add flexibility for people who only need a place for a month or two, but the rates are quite exorbitant. In addition, the office staff is basically unable to communicate with the residents due to understaffing and can't get things done in a timely manner without the actual office manager being present. Here's an example:
Bronwyn Putnam: To anyone looking for a place to live in Fayetteville, avoid this leasing company at all costs. They do not keep track of phone calls and responses, they will not be honest about the amounts that are due, and then leave eviction notices in the form of "vacate the premise" with no legal backing to do so. My boyfriend and I have been down to the office multiple times to sort out our issues. They have had at least 4 different people come in the office since we've been here. Some apartments are upgraded, and some are falling apart. It had started raining in our kitchen and it took 4 days for someone to come out and take a look, and they kept us in the same unit. We are told we owe one amount and are getting "not" evicted for a different amount. It is dishonest, shady, and a quick way to lose your money or sense of home.
indignantBEAR: Hidden lake is a fantastic middle ground between high quality and affordable apartments. Often times when you find apartments that are affordable they tend to be quite lack luster. But hidden lake sets the standard for high quality and affordability. They have a pool and a gym and are easily accessible and the complex is easy to navigate. In a lot of the apartment complexes around town it is very difficult to find a specific building or apartment if you are not extremely familiar with the layout. At hidden lake you know where you are right when you come in and it's fabulously easy to find where you are going on account of the whole place being one big circle. As far as the actual apparents go, they seem to be well made and have very few problems. And the staff?? Wow. Fantastic. I mean it. Being that I come in contact with the staff of many appartment complexes around town on a regular basis I can conclusively say that the staff at hidden lake are among the absolute best that you can find at any hawthorne apartment complex. All in all I would say that this complex is a solid 8/10 only because of the mosquitoes that you get from the lake that is near by.
Amanda Sides: This new management is horrible. You can't get help if anything breaks. If their system is down at the time rent is do they will make you pay a late fee. The year I was there I paid them well over a 1,000 dollars more because they want to play the he said she said game. This place under the old managementwas so much nicer. I will never rent from them again.
taamir ransome: This place is under new management. The new management is horrible. They post eviction notices "by accident" even when you pay your rent on time. It's quite embarrassing and there is no contact or forewarning. Whoever is in charge of managing their books is completely worthless as they continue to lose track of payments and then when it is researched it is found. However, this is after they post eviction notices or late payment due notices on your door. This place used to be amazing but since COVID and the regime change, they have gotten sloppy and their customer service is subpar.
peterson gaspard: Used to be a nice and clean place to live. I live here for 3 years, since the apartment has been bought back in October of last year it becomes the worst. Staffs are not doing what they supposed to. Place become filthy from times to times. The previous managers will make sure trash are being picked up. It has been like this for the past 3-4 days as showing on the picture. Every 3 months they have new staffs. It’s just becoming a nightmare. I will not recommend it to anyone.
Mie'sha Pettit: it's a nice community. i love the fact that the trash, cable and wifi are included in rent. it's very conveniently placed between the city and different restaurants. the neighborhood is overall very quiet.
Summer Braden: Richard with maintenance is absolutely wonderful! He was very prompt, informative and kind.
Regan Szabo: If I could leave a worse rating I would and with that being said LIVE ANYWHERE ELSE, BUT HERE! Fayetteville has so many apartment complexes in town and this one should be your LAST option. I had so many issues here from before I even moved in.Before I even moved in they gave me the wrong move in date and had me set to move in on a Sunday. It wasn’t until 2 days before my projected move in date that they said they wrote the wrong date and are closed on Sundays. I had signed for this date weeks in advanced and they didn’t care that I had all my arrangements made since they were “only pushing it a day out”Once traveling 3 hours to move in, the moment I stepped foot in the apartment I was told I had to wait an hour to move in because someone was waxing the UNCLEANED FLOORS with dirt and hair being waxed into the floor. Not to mention I actually arrived 30 minutes after I told them I should be there, so there was no reason the apartment should not have been finished. And actually since I was running behind I was contacted to ask when I was planning to show up because the person I signed with was about to go to lunch lol.The apartment had stains on the ceiling, broken tile, red sauce on cabinets and on fan strings. A few light switch covers weren’t even on and bad patch work on others. Not to mention there is dog poop and cigarette butts everywhere, so if you concerned about getting fined for that like in your lease don’t worry you won’t.Besides all of that whenever I needed to speak to someone throughout my 10 months living there you could never reach someone on the phone and had to leave several messages and still sometimes would not get a call back.Had to file TWO police reports for vandalism and threats from other residents living on our floor and the apartment complex did absolutely nothing. The laundry room was always disgusting and unkept. There were times where other residents came and crashed gatherings with out her friends and residents just bc “they lived there and had more of a right to stay”, threatened to “beat someone’s ass” because laundry was moved after sitting there taking up space for 5 hours, and even more.On top of the experience the staff lied about sticking a “60 day offering letter” to our door after stating I no longer lived there. They back tracked once i asked when it was stuck to the door and informed them that I was still occupying the residence and that our roommate had been there even past the date. After that they tried to say that it was there and must’ve fallen off. We had never received anything attached to our door as a form of communication the entire time we lived there so I find that really ours. 3 people occupied the apartment and not one person was called, emailed, or mailed anything so they tried to cover themselves by saying the did attempt to give us a letter is false.Between the staff and some of the residents I had in counters with while living here I have never had a worse living experience in my life. I recommend living literally anywhere else.
Natasha Long: I have lived here since 2017.... I love the amenities and my apartment but there is now a problem that I have already talked to the manager office about... my neighbors below me “second floor” MY APARTMENT is the “third floor” above them and Omgggg there so loud! How do I hear everything there doing when there below me. I hear slamming doors all night long sometimes until midnight! I hear running across the apartment from one end to the other..... I’m at my wits end about this! I can’t handle them being so loud. I can feel my apartment shake when there so loud.. I’m on the very top I shouldn’t be able to hear nothing below.... but I do, my kids are even complaint about them being so loud and waking them up at night! Enough is enough with this! 😡 besides that I love it here and I love the Maintenance guys and office ladies but this has got stop, makes meWant to break my lease!
Carl Stantana: 1/5 Stars.Staff doesn't seem to communicate or stay hired on for very long terms.I've lived here for +2 years, and management/staff always seems to get replaced. Also you will pay for mark-up's for facilities you don't utilize, such as the gym or "bark park".Community is gated but anyone can get in if they just trail a vehicle with a code already entering.Long maintenance wait times. Even for "emergency work orders"Both summers I've lived here I was without AC for a combined 3 weeks, within the 2 month summer period.Location within Fayetteville is the only positive.
Shade Williams: These are great apartments in a great area. They are a bit older and that brings some issues, but the maintenance and office staff are always friendly and quick to respond to such issues. The office manager Kiera, has been such a great help. She is very professional and kind. She has been, the best office manager H.L. has to offer. I have loved my time here, and will always recommend it to others.
Cortney Jacobs: Beautiful community! I have been searching for an apartment for a few months now and I think I found my next home! Not only did I love the apartment lay out but the Staff was very welcoming. When you come tour make sure you Ask for Amy! Amy thank you for helping me find my new home! Can’t wait to call Hidden Lake Apartments my new home!!
Michael Krant: Really love the pool and gym; apartment is really open and nice

Boundary Line Lake: what do users think?
garry mclaurin: Fishing
Mark Johnson: This is not for an everyday fisherman you must have a North Carolina fishing license and plus also a fort Bragg wildlife permit to be on here It is restricted area ... You get that permit from fort Bragg and you can fish anywhere on and off base that is fort Bragg fishing If you don't get that don't get caught
Marsena Mungin: I enjoy walking with my dog around the lake.
John Fuda: Nice lake, but not any bass biting. There is a very nice concrete boat ramp and the access is road is acceptable, though there is one spot where you can get stuck if you do not pay attention. I had to pull someone out (with my 2WD and they were in a 4WD F350 dually). There were a ton of 4" or so baby bass in the shallows, so this may be the spot in a few years, but for now it is not. My son did catch about six bluegill, though. We fished in late October and the water was still in the high 60s / low 70s by my guess - we both waded in it while putting in our little boat and doing some bank fishing near the end of the trip. Maybe there are adult bass and they'll start biting when the water gets into the 50s. We'll try again then...
Mr. J: Lots of cypress stumps great for bass fishing if you can manage all the vegetation, has a spill way bridge to fish from and a concrete boat ramp. Pretty clean lake i picked up what trash was around me and had the entire place to myself.
Louie Jordan: Nice fishing, must have licence, fishing on ft.brg
Matt Hockey: Overfished and overfished.

Glenville Lake: what do users think?
joey concepcion: Big bass
Jessy M: There is only one pier to fish off of, as fishing off the bank is off limits. WON'T BE BACK TO FISH
Yura Shabe: Good place to go and be alone and be with god pray
Giancarlo Acosta: This place is dirty and it sticks. The little dock for fishing is super dirty and the kids wanted to leave right away. Will not go back again.
Anh Nguyen: If you love fishing it a good lake
