Also, there is a lot of supposed healthy processed stuff that I just can't get myself to fall for. It is clean and the workers seem a bit happier than Walmart or Food Lion so there is some value there.

Anne Bynoe: I really like going grocery shopping! But l really like grocery shopping at Food Lion stores. It could be the familiarality of the stores' layout, or the friendliness of the employees (they are all very helpful, once the cashier left her register to go find an item for me.) or maybe it's the prices (even with the great inflation of prices everywhere), Food Lion's prices are still comparable. I just wish these high prices everywhere would cease.
Linda Neill: I've never experienced cashiers that cuss each other out in front of customers. One cashier was threatening the other cashier while she was checking out people's groceries. Cashiers were just standing around talking to each other like they were in high school. They really just don't care. Shame on Food Lion. You have downgraded to Walmart.

Richard Koroias: The Food Lion here is half the size of most others, 80% of the cashiers are horrible to people (or they have one hand on their phone while they scan your stuff). And if you are elderly or disabled, expect NO additional help. Most of the cashiers will just shove your stuff at the end, take your money and start working the next customer, shoving their stuff into yours in a big mess. There are only two cashiers that actually take the time to pop a couple items in your cart. It is convenient given where it is but definitely not the best one. I'd rather take the extra 5-10 minutes to drive to the Skibo Road location and have cashiers that actually pay attention. Also, keep your bathrooms cleaner. Yes, they are public use but the other four locations I visit do a better job at that.

betty davis: I fell in this store today 02/04/2023 and I got hurt messed my shoulder up and cut my left elbow pretty bad But I can say that the customer service manager a awesome young lady that went beyond anything to make sure I was OK kept checking on me sit right there with me until I was able to get up and leave And when I first fell I'm not sure whom the couple was I really wish I would have gotten there name because as soon as I fell all I saw was a young lady came running down the aisle where I s sitting and she called my special person and then went to get some thing to wipe my arm with because I busted my elbow open I'm OK thinks to everyone and I'm sore. NO IT WAS NOTHINH THAT FOOD LION DID I HAVE CRPS IN MY FOOT AND KNEE SO THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED. EVERYONE AT FOOD LION ON REAFORD RD FAYETTEVILLE U ROCK

Sarah Hadi: This Publix is fine in terms of grocery shopping. It’s well stocked and the employees are friendly enough.The reason for the two star review is because of the sub station. I have ordered a sub sandwich online for pickup multiple times now and not a single time is my sandwich ready by the time I arrive. In fact, every time I’ve gone to pick up, I stand waiting at the pick up counter for someone to notice. When they finally do, they come over and inform me that no one has even started working on the online orders. Meanwhile, people who order at the counter end up getting their sandwiches on the spot, completely defeating the purpose of ordering ahead to save time.They’ve also been out of ingredients almost every time I’ve ordered and have called to see what I want to substitute. Just a few days ago I was told they were out of lemon aioli but that the associate would “check to see if anyone knows how to make it” (of course no one did).The line for the sub station is always incredibly long and the workers move with absolutely zero urgency and purpose, as if to think doing so would deter people from ordering.I understand many retail and low wage jobs are under-filled but please hire better/more people and improve the ordering experience for everyone.

Brittanie West: This is the worst publix I've ever been to. As a floridian that worked at pub for 6 years, that's a lot of publixes. Starting off with the bakery, the cakes look horrible. The icing has gaps on the sides, they have the worst color schemes like burnt orange balloons with a messy pile of black as strings and yellow edging, and don't even think about ordering a cake less than a week out or asking for a plain cake to write on yourself because you won't be getting it. They'll have 7 people behind the counter and complain about being understaffed. The deli takes 20-30 mins no matter what and if you order pickup there's a 50/50 chance they've forgotten or haven't gotten around to doing it. The cashiers and baggers are great, but this publix desperately need new bakery and deli managers.

Dewayne Grant: I ordered a Raspberry Decadent cake online 19 May 2023. Went to pick it up on 20 May 2023 at specified time, 3:30PM. Cake was not ready. Bakery POC (A lady), stated they were finishing up with putting the icing on. I waited another 15 minutes and cake comes out. A manager states cake will be free due to issue. I thanked her. Presented cake to wife (her birthday) on 21 May 2022. Cut into cake and wow, Publix disguised my cake as a Raspberry Decadent with icing and trimmings, but cake was actual a Marble type cake on the inside. I notified Publixs on 21 May 2023 and explained. Manger stated could not fix today but come get, wait for it, another FREE cake. PUBLIX you should really speak with your baker who did this, I believe, deceitful act of disguising the cake to look like what is was supposed to be. Your Bakery staff has really been struggling lately. Also, as you can see, they did not even have the name and Happy Birthday spelled on cake like instructed. Since they did not have ready, and probably just through mine together at the last minute, they used a cardboard to put name on.I expect more from Publixs!

Diane Tope: I spend a LOT of money at Harris Teeter every week. I work from home so every afternoon I think of a reason to go there, just to get out of the house. I am very disappointed with the Pizza station. Most of the time, it's pleasant and the guy who works there, don't know his name, is phenomenal! But yesterday I went to get a slice for my husband and there were NO slices, of any kind, AT ALL! I asked if some pepperoni slices were coming up soon and I was told, "unfortunately not, we're working on orders now". Why, at supper time, do you not have some slices available BEFORE you start the orders. I do realize you make more money off of whole pies, but the single slice buyers are just as important.On a good note, I LOVE Francesca "Frankie". She's the best!

charles ward: My first thought is the prices were high. Then i was notify that food lion was giving anyone that has snap benefits a $40 credit added to their cards. You make a purchase scan your food lion card and you get it. Up to six times in a month. With being on a fixed income its hard sometimes if only all the other stores did that. I take my hat off for them helping give back to the community.

Casey Flinn: This is my go to location however there is a panhandle problem here. Inside and outside the store. On numerous times I get approached by panhandles. But today was icing on a cake. Panhandler walks in first thing in the morning. And ask customers for rides and money. Here is the troubling part. Came back 4 hours later because I forgot something and that panhandler was still inside next to the same cashier. Still asking customers for money. Panhandlers are a huge deterent for returning customers.
lani collins: They are good at keeping things stocked and the aisle cleared. Their fruit and veggies seems to be fresh most of the time as well. So far almost every cashier I've had seem to have an attitude or acts as if they just don't want to be there. Smile, it's okay to have a good day lol.
