The neighbors and neighborhood was very quiet as well. My apartment was fully furnished dishes and all so I was able to travel light. This a travel nurse dream and the rent was Very reasonable. I highly recommend this place and the staff was very accommodating

Damari Aguirre: Family lodge Apartments is a nice apartment complex to live in for military families it comes furnished so you don’t have to worry about furniture. You don’t have to worry about a contract when living there also! Just have to let them know two weeks in advance when ready to move.

Hayley Mitchell: Great short-term property. We stayed here while looking for a house after we moved. Furniture is in good shape and checking in/out was really easy. The management was also really easy to work with. The "booms" from nearby ranges were a bit jarring at first, but you get used to it pretty quick. Other than that, very quiet, tucked away neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Arianna Kamolmasrat: They treat you like family. After moving from Family lodge, USPS lost my deposit check twice. Mike worked with me all the way to make sure I would get my deposit. Who else would do that!? This company has integrity and human kindness and I highly recommend them. The stay at this location was comfortable, safe and moving in and out very very smooth. Cam, the maintenance guy quickly fixed any issue with the apartment. I highly highly recommend this place especially if new to Fayetteville or a medical traveler.

Tristan Trotter: Comfortable, affordable apartments in a nice suburb off Reilly Road.Family Lodge is great for short and long-term renters. I stayed for about three months, and enjoyed the convenience of a pre-furnished unit. My apartment was clean, comfortable and move-in ready. Their rates are competitive and met or beat most other complexes I talked to.Both the management and the neighbors were easy to get along with. The grounds were well cared for, and I had zero maintenance issues. The one warning I will give prospective renters is that this property is within earshot off several of the military firing ranges along Chicken Road. However, the neighborhood itself is quiet.

Hannah Blankenship: We stayed at these apartments for around a year. It is a nice and fairly quiet place with decent neighbors. The convenience of being only a few minutes from the Reilly, Yadkin and Canopy gates was an awesome benefit. We had very few issues while staying here, but each and every single one was addressed immediately and efficiently by the staff. Deb and Mike are always friendly and helpful. Cam was always there to help with any and all maintenance related concerns.

Gregory Roman: Wonderful year long experience at the Tuscan Villa Cottage!!! I would certainly come again if I were ever in Fayetteville for an extended period of time. Cottage is conveniently located next to plenty of shopping and dining, as well as a 10 minute drive to Ft. Bragg. Neighborhood is quiet and safe and ideal for walking, jogging, and bike riding. As for the cottage itself: Super clean and fully furnished with everything needed including internet access for a longer stay, personal driveway for parking, and a fantastic patio with gazebo and charcoal grill for outdoor BBQs. I highly recommend the Tuscan Villa Cottage for extended stays!!!

Tena Fanning: My husband stayed from Nov 9th to Dec 19th 2018. It was very secure, clean well equipped, furnished and comfortable. Very reasonably priced, safe location, close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. He travels for work and this was perfect. Owners very receptive of check in and out and pretty much left him alone (privacy) Would highly recommend staying again or as a long term/short term for military, medical or business. Much much better than a hotel/motel. Deposit was paid promptly after he left. Thanks!

James Poole: I recently stayed in the studio for 4.5 months as I too am a healthcare traveler, and it was the best set-up ever. The studio was perfect for me.... completely furnished, fabulously decorated, safe, secure, private, convenient, pleasing and quiet. So much better than a traditional apartment or an extended stay place. The owners are great. They got me checked-in on time when hurricane Florence was bearing down on us and almost everything in town was closed or without power. They make sure everything is right, and they're available if you need something. They emphasize safety and privacy and responsibility, and they provide wonderful accommodations for their tenants. If I'm ever back in Fayetteville, I'm definitely calling again.

Julie Humbert: I’m a travel RN and was looking for a place I could relax at and retreat to on my days off and feel safe. I found this little gem of a place and was so fortunate. I actually stayed in the studio which was absolutely adorable. The owners provided everything I needed except my own person items. It was convenient to everything and yet nestled in such a beautiful neighborhood I could walk on my days off and enjoy the peace. I love it had everything I needed including a washer and dryer. I hope to go back and visit again and stay here. The owners completely respect your privacy but are there if you need anything. Safely is also a priority and I appreciated that. Maria C: Stayed in the cottage for about a week and we absolutely loved it. This is a very clean little home away from home. Pictures don't do it justice. It is in an upscale and safe area of Fayetteville/Fort Bragg. This two story cottage has a cute stairway that brings you upstairs to a beautiful quiet bedroom. Kitchen has all of the supplies.The owner totally stocked this kitchen with everything you need. I would stay here again anytime.

I've just moved into my apartment complex and everything is excellent, she really found me an apartment which I really enjoy that has a great view and natural light. Antal Petrik: Leased from Patriot Park Apartments last year for 9 months. Was an absolute pleasure because the site manager Normi made everything a breeze and easy. She was excellent and helped with setting up everything and suggesting washer and drier rentals as well. The location was excellent as its close to all the shops and food place. The only downside is that its close to the freeway depending on what unit you rent. Thank you Normi for all your help!!!

John Truini: Just moved in yesterday. The entire process, from first contact to move-in, was very professional and pleasant. Normelita kept an open line of communication to ensure the process was smooth. She sent out all forms and information in a timely manner. She is easy and pleasant to work with. Upon move in, the apartment was clean, I even checked under the stove top lol. You can tell the apartment was constantly kept up.It did not warrant 4 stars, I wish I could give 4.5 Stars because there were items left in the deck storage room from the past owner, the maintenance manager immediately came and removed the items. He apologized. And, to no fault of Patriot Park, upon move in the carpets were wet. When we arrived, around 11am, to check in a carpet truck was just leaving. They just finished cleaning the carpets in the apartment. We were told they were supposed to show up the day before but failed to. Good thing is, we knew the carpets were cleaned. :) We were told the people at the carpet company said it was OK to move stuff in as the carpets would dry in about 2 hours and would not affect any furniture since they applied carpet solution that dries faster. It actually took about 6 or 7 hours to dry to the point we could walk on it without getting socks or feet wet. We moved some stuff in that did not have wooden legs. By that evening the carpet were pretty much dry and we placed the remaining items in around the apartment.So far so good, all motion is moving in a positive direction as of now. May give an update after we are there a while.

Horrible living experience I moved in July if 2020 and by august 2020 my ENTIRE car was stolen out of the complex, the police found it a week later and I had to pay 1500 to get my car rekeyed .According to police It’s common in that complex.. Management couldn’t help because they didn’t have any cameras.. if you would like to live where they care more about your personal life then getting your repairs fixed or addressing your concerns then this is the place for you!!! Very poor communication with this complex. Now it turns out I will have dispute so bogus charges they said I Damaged the carpet and is charging me $957 to have the carpet replaced, which makes me even more confused because don’t you put new carpet down in between each tenant anyway? If not that’s even more disturbing and i wouldn’t be surprised if that’s why it’s always bugs inside. I have a full 360 video and photos of the units when I moved out because I felt like they would be on some funny business and look what we have here .. and to top it off my rent went from 1132 to 1555 a month for renewal in the middle of a pandemic that’s insane

They held events to interact with tenants, even events for the pets! Movie night by the pool I have yet to experience this again. Trent Harner: I lived here at Autumn View for 9 months during my senior year at Methodist University. On Ramsey street, there are a lot of apartment complexes and I did a lot of searching before signing a lease. This complex is BY FAR THE BEST on Ramsey street, the Ash apartments in the back buildings are newer, very nice and incredibly spacious. I was a very high maintenance leasee by transferring apartments because I didn’t want to be on the ground level, and the leasing office was so caring and respectful and let me do it with ease. The parking here is tough at times but everyone has their own assigned spots right in front of their unit! The maintenance team is fantastic and literally will complete anything in a matter of hours. I really will miss my apartment here and I am so thankful that I found this hidden gem on Ramsey Street!

Alli Bruce: I’ve lived in a lot of different complexes all over NC, and this is by far the best! The office staff is for the most part professional, and Karen is always willing to handle whatever needs you have. She even stayed late one day, when my runaway cat was found and turned in to the office! My only issue is parking - you are assigned a spot number, but visitors will frequently park in your spot (especially on weekends) and you have no choice but to park in someone else’s assigned spot. Wish they would actually tow like they threaten to do, so people will stop taking others spots! But other than that, a great place to live with great neighbors!

Dre'a: DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY!!! This place is patched up to the max and not even good. Parking is a headache especially with non tenants, they refuse to assign two spots per tenant or give decals to know who’s who. A gray sedan has been parked who does not live in the complex for almost 2months with gas Lid open and Nothing has been done, a adjacent tenant(burgundy Honda personalized tag) parks his vehicle in the complex adjacent to his building walks across the entrance to get to and from his car; it’s obvious these cameras are for decoration and they Don’t respond to emails. This is a Family owened business and it shows because all they want is Rent. The Only plus is a courtesy text to make a pyt. Right now I can’t park in front of my building because of guest, a tenant that doesn’t live in this building or the adjoined building, and an Abandoned vehicle!!! The burgundy only parked at his building because other complex parked there first, he parks there even when his building lot is Empty! Today next to the abandoned car two Non tents have parked and actual tenants have to park in the over flow across the parking. Yes, complex is aware even verbalized and she said “ she’ll send a reminder, not sent, they Don’t care!!! A bunch of low budget tenants to them.. The Cars zoom all hours of the night with blaring music, if you can afford anywhere else GO!!! The layout is Good minus there is No fan, SMH!!!

The amenities (Gym and Pool) are still not acessible and have no date set in place for any potential reopening. The office here has also been closed for about a month now, (via Highlander Rentals, the parent company) so there is no direct oversight over the apartment complex either. Avoid at all cost.10/28/21 Update: The gym has how become a storage facility full of boxes, meaning there is likely no intent of re-opening the gym.

Champayne Tripp: A bullet came through my wall on the 3rd floor from one of my neighbors . No cares where giving for my safety the only options they gave me was to put in a 30 day notice or pay more for a different apartment there. they say there pet friendly but always harassing me about my 2 dogs And the esa certified also slow on maintenance the bullet whole has sat there for 2 months before they sent maintenance to put putty in the whole in the cabinet 10 out of 10 wouldn’t recommend 😒

Hillary Agbele: I have lived here for a couple of years now, and to be honest, this is the worst management they have by far. Brookstone is not what it use to be anymore. Aye, give them a try and find out for yourself.

Michael Bethea: The Bike Cage is a joke! My motorcycle was stolen and they had a camera on the cage. The police couldn’t use the footage due to camera quality. There’s no area security, staff did bare minimum and the area isn’t safe. If you own a motorcycle or a nice bicycle, this place isn’t for you.

Dequan Seaberry: I’ve been in this bank for over 3 hrs just for them to tell me I couldn’t donate today an I’m going to have to wait for a call because the worker who filled out my chart for my tattoos didn’t do it correctly. The supervisor said “ I’m sorry you didn’t fill your chart correctly so your going to have to wait for HR” I then told her I wasn’t the person filing out my paperwork for my physical they was. So now that they sticked my finger, took my temperature, and told me to wait for an additional 25min just to tell me I can’t donate for someone else’s mistake is very unprofessional. I love donating out the kindness of my heart for sick people but this the was my worst experience ever am I won’t be returning to any of the Locations in the Fayetteville area to donate plasma. I don’t have time to give anyone 3 hours just to tell me they can’t help me.

Lil Shawn: Great price, location, community isnt the best in looks or luxury but is very nice never had a issue with crime or any trouble within 3 years of living there. Very quiet neighborhood with great amenities. Staff was Mrs Denise and Mrs Diane and they were awesome. (Jul 2016-Jul 19)

D.A.V VENEY: We have lived here for 3 years and this is our second time moving here. These apartments use to have such a great community, however this place has turned into trash. Management is horrible lazy and rude. They do not even answer phone calls. Do not live!

B B: Management is extremely rude and can’t do their job correctly. If you’re military I’d avoid this place because even if you have orders they like to give you a hard time. There seems to be cops called almost every week. It’s also apts given to people on section 8 so that says a lot about the people living in this complex.

D L (David): I have waited since December 2018 to receive back my security deposit. There was a change of management, which is understandable, however, given now that we are in April of 2019 and I was told that it would only take 30 days for me to be issued a refund. This is unacceptable! I spoke to the new property manager a couple times and assured me that she will rectify the situation and that a new check would be issued within a couple days, this was a little over two weeks ago now. I have been trying to get ahold of the property manager for the past week and to no luck. We as tenants are held to the standard that we must pay a security deposit prior to moving in, I certainly would not have been allowed to take residence in one of Brookstone Apartments prior to making the security deposit. All I’m asking for is for the security deposit. It’s either one very low on the priority list to issue a refund, or two they do not want to return my deposit. Either way, it’s unprofessional and quite possibly against the law. I would gladly show anyone the proof of my circumstances. For those of you considering Brookstone Apartments, I would highly suggest making sure that this does not happen to you by directly bringing it up to the property manager before seriously considering this apartment complex as your next place of residence.

Peaches The hairstylist, jack of all trades: Moved back to Fayetteville in 2017 I chose Brookstone due to the location, Ms Denise and her staff are great! Ms Denise the apartment manager has helped me through ruff period. Would recommend Brrokstone apts to anyone great place to live for price.

Edwonna Nance: In the beginning it started off as a pleasant experience but once I made a in house transfer. we rented out furniture and before we left we asked if they could take out the furniture in the apartment so that me and my husband could deep clean but we were told that it would be fine , it was definitely a miscommunication but instead of speaking to me as a woman I was belittled & and disrespected it seemed like everything changed, not to mention I did a in house transfer just to move into an apartment that was not even fully functional ,Very rude , arrogant, & disrespectful management , it’s like you have to harass just to get a work order to work & you never know when your going to be hit with last minute fees the day before rent is due, after this lease I have no intention in returning after serving this prison sentence very unprofessional . So today is 02/02/2018 and I would just like to add to this review that today I was once again bullied and harassed by Denise , who is management , could you believe she told me today “ It’s not my fault you and your husband can’t afford to pay your bills on time” as if she knows us ? Our rent is $575 and we pay $700 a month to this woman , what do did with the rest of our money I have no clue but this woman is beyond the devil , I would like to speak to her manager , I have never experienced customer service so degrading.

I lived here for 5 years and enjoyed talking and interacting with the property Manager Denise and the leasing staff Mrs.Denise is very professional and dedicated to her job and making every tenant feel safe and loved in Brookstone apartments

Brittany Ifeanyichukwu: The overallness of the apartment wasn't that bad. Granted I lived there a year ago and finally got the time to write a review. Anyways, unlike most of the apartments ive lived in after this one, I can say this one didn't have nearly as many bugs (may consider moving back lol jk) There just was a lot of ants in the bathroom. Maintenance tried. I had a water leak spot in my bathroom (don't know if it was old or not) he literally came in and put paint over it lol. He was the only maintence guy so I guess I should give him credit. The counter sides were also always pealing and falling off. Apartment was not cleaned upon time for us to move in, me and my husband literally scrubbed that place upon coming and as we were leaving.Which leads me to my MAIN issues, the very reason why I may NEVER reside their again. The apartment manager is MESSY and loves to get in your business. I thought she meant well at first, but as it was time for us to break our lease (upon my husbands orders) she turned into a totally different person. Tried to make me seem like a trouble maker (because of a situation I vented to her about) and also charged me and my husband a lot of fees. She tried to play smart but because me and my husband didn't know much about orders and breaking lease, we had to pay THREE months rent and break lease the regular way and she charged us cleaning fee for the apartment (after me and my husband cleaned it top to bottom and took pictures for proof) . Once she gave me the bill, I made these things known and also tried to show her pictures. she simply replied "I actually was nice about the charges, there were actually more, unless you want me to just add them back". I just left because I did not need to be escorted off the premises the way my temper is set up..oooooo yeahhhh, there was a time someone above us or across from us was smoking weed in their apartment and it seeped into our own. The apartment lady pulled me in and gave me a warning, informing me that it was not permitted. I told her Im not sure why im getting the notice. She then explained that a neighbor said they saw me smoking weed on the balcony lol. PAUSE, I, nor my husband smokes nor have we ever used our balcony (he does not do bugs). I let the lady know that and she was like "oh okay". smh. They ruined the experience for me. Apartments weren't bad though. Club house was also useless, there simply taking up space.

Jazmin Jackson: I had issues with my AC and within 10 minutes maintenance came and handled the situation.

Nate Luther: Overall, it’s a really great apartment complex. However, it’s the 25th of June and they have yet to ensure the pool is open for us who live here. We pay for an overpriced apartment and they can’t even get the pool open on time for summer. All of the maintenance on the pool should have been fixed prior to summer. Work orders on the other hand are amazing. The maintenance and leasing team are amazing too.

Tannance Holliday: Brianna helped my husband and I when we really needed it. The ladies in the leasing office are amazing and definitely treat you as family! Let’s not get me started on the amenities and the apartment itself is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The maintenance men are so nice and respectful and come as soon as possible (I’ve never had to wait more than 2 days to get something cosmetic fixed, I don’t know about something urgent I haven’t had problems thus far). The community is clean and I feel super safe when I’m taking walks either alone or with my husband. 10/10 definitely recommend!

Sencerae Locklear: Staff is very helpful and super nice. The environment is quiet and kept clean. I would stay here again if I ever needed to.

Lexus Barrett: I’ve been living here for the last 5 months and it’s been amazing!! The maintenance team is always so polite and quick to get things done. The leasing team is very welcoming every time I come into the office. They have monthly community events for the residents that are well thought out and well planned. I will be renewing my lease this year!

Anqelaa Bunkleyy: IP West Fayetteville Review-10000/10 Do Not recommend. When we first moved here it was great no issues, Apartment was clean Except the mold on the tub that I would find whenever I cleaned it. After the first couple months it was terrible trash everywhere no one ever actually put it in the trash compactor just piled it on top of each other, Gave False information. Maintenance however was not really an issue until my bathroom light went out and they decided to complete the work order without actually fixing it, I put another request in only for them to say at 8pm that night they don’t fix the lights. So now I’ve been without a bathroom light up until I moved out. I was always told it was 60 days of nonpayment before an Eviction process even though payments were made received a call basically saying well that person lied you owe us such and such and we have been sending emails, I even checked while we were on the phone checking for the date she stated the emails were sent and I hadn’t received anything! The doors were also always broken didn’t even lock half the time. Marie always had an attitude with my boyfriend for some reason, she told him one thing, but told me something completely different. Squatters came and created commotion. Never had my final walkthrough just absolutely ridiculous.ALL IN ALL I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Steer far far away.

James Garcia: Great apartments . Typically doesn’t take longer than a day or two to get a solution to maintenance requests . Put it in a work order last night and got another quick response and fix today . Very flexible for military as well if you leave frequently, I moved out beginning of the year and chose the same complex a few months ago . Very flexible management.

Dennis Callender: Everything very good so far. Some minor maintenance needed for the apartment, but staff is very responsive and helpful, they quickly responded.

However, I'm not sure I would want to live here past my original lease though.

Johnnie Wells-DuBois: Our home burned down November 22, 2022. The insurance put us into an extended state hotel, but we needed someplace to be until our home is rebuilt. The people here were more than willing to work with the insurance company and us to make that happen. We are very grateful for God having someone in place to be there for us when we couldn't be there for ourselves.

Ranson Coleman: The best part of my stay here was the manager Marie. She was the manager of the entire time I was there and she was fantastic. She always listened to any concerns that I had and acted fast to reconcile them. She always has a great attitude and is full of energy. She and her team provided me with great service the entire time I was there and I had a great four years. I will miss this team and the community is in good hands as long as Marie is the manager

neville mullings: Excellent experience the worker that attend to me was professional. I got all relevant information needed. Nice inviting lobby area. Model room looks real nice.Moving into my apartment is a memorable one , the apartment was very clean that is walls, bathroom. kitchen and all the other areas in the apartment. I had something to be done in my bathroom and bedroom and I sent an email and the response was extremely fast and it was corrected the next day.I can proudly say I have no problem with Independence Place apartment and I would recommend anyone to choose this community.

Ashton Brown: It was amazing when I moved in but moving out I have an outstanding balance in which I called several times to speak with someone. My call was never returned and I just found out they did an unauthorized charge on my card due to me having my card information on the system. However my account was never set to auto draft!!!Update: As I am making payments on the ridiculous bill it was sent to a collections agency. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!! Still no call from the property manager and when I call the phones are still down!!

Chrissy Keough: This place is an absolute joke. Don’t move here if your military as they do not care about you. Management never did initial or final walkthrough. Maintenance crew was always drunk. No repairs were ever made even though they kept increasing our rent until we could not afford it anymore. Gross apartments were never cleaned, our floor boards weren’t even glued down. We paid our final rent and now they want 2,000 more dollars and we don’t even live there anymore and haven’t in almost a year. Gave our notice and did everything right, but apparently there’s not record of that. I could go on and on about everything that happened there. Shootings every night, people trying to break into our apartment, and can’t even get anything fixed that breaks. Save yourself the harassment and false accusations from their incompetent management and find somewhere else to live.
