Nicole Allen: Never again! Our realtor, ExitReality, used them to close on our house August 2020. Closing was pushed backed more than once, our realtor said she could never get ahold of her (Karen). Often had to leave messages and send emails to get a response. When we finally did close we had to have the deed recorded at the courthouse in order to have our water turned on. We closed at 1030 that morning, was told it “wouldn’t take long” for the recording process. At 3:30 we still didn’t have what we needed so I called and got a very unprofessional and hasty reply from Karen, “if people would quit calling I’d have time to get your papers done”. Those papers finally got recorded at 4:21 pm, papers in hand after 5pm. We had no water the first night in our house and no where to go. And since we closed late we were out of our temporary apartment the same day we closed. I would NOT recommend Karen.

Filed the wrong amount with county tax office. Overnighted my settlement with wrong address costing me more money. Actually signed documents verifying that all information was correct, when there were 3 huge errors on it. Did not offer to compensate me for my losses or time. I would never recommend this place.

My closing date has been moved back over a week because they waited till 2 hours before closing to request documents that need to be mailed from out of state. They claimed to "not have known" information about a power of attorney that was listed in the contract over 10 times, which tells me that they didn't READ the contract. We aren't talking about rare cases, we are talking about a payoff document and a POA. For the amount they charge in execution of a contract, I would expect a higher level of professionalism. If you are selling your home, please choose a different firm.

Victoria Lemrabott: I had a 5 star experience the first few times I dealt with them but as of lately, the experience has been frustrating and upsetting. I’ve been trying to get my injury claim settled for a year now, the paralegal did little to no work on my case and then I was notified via text that she was no longer with the firm. I can never get anyone on the phone because they don’t answer. They do not return calls/voicemails at all. The door to the office is always locked even during business hours so you can’t even try to speak with someone face to face. But they expect a third of the money you receive from the claim. I’m so disappointed with the representation I have received thus far on this case. I’m seriously considering filing a claim for inadequate counsel, especially because I asked for the actual attorney to contact me 3 weeks ago and although I was told the attorney received the message, I did not receive a call from either of the 3 attorneys. Little to no communication and if this issue is not rectified, it will cost them plenty of business in the future. I definitely have changed my mind on doing business with this firm in the future.

Jeremy Speights: Do not recommend, as a client they ask that you only messages them on a special board “ so they can get back to you faster” haven’t herd anything back from they lady that was working my case and she told me she would reach back out on March 10,2023… even when she did reach back out before it would take a week or days even…no answer from the message sent on March 10,2023 , I reached out again no answer, tried again now her name is gone from the message board, so I then reach out to Mr. Edwards on March 13,2023 still no answer. On top of that you can just go by their office because they keep the door locked with a note that says appointment only.Update April 5, 2023it’s been 2 more weeks. I’ve been leaving voicemails on the phone, and still haven’t gotten any feed back from anybody.. my guess is since my personal injury case isn’t 30-40 grand they ain’t worried about me and will get to me when it’s convenient for them which is sorry. Found out the women that did handle my case has left bc she didn’t like how they was handle things. That’s why the women that was handling my case is no longer on the message board and I had to reach to Mr. Edwards. I will be reaching out to my states Anttorney General today … will update on how things are going or if they ever get handled

Allison Kovac: From the get go Mr.Hogan and Mrs.Brown have been amazing! Even before I retained them, Mr.Hogan would call me in a timely manner and put my mind at ease about the process ahead. Their communication is top notch. All my questions have been answered throughout this whole process. Mrs. Brown is patient and takes time to call me to explain what documents she is sending me and why they’re necessary. So thankful I found these guys and have them in my side. I can’t recommend them enough!

Rebekah Perez: The negative reviews are very accurate. I spoke to someone over the phone, they stated “once I pay the prepaid amount, they get to work”. I did just that the following day, once they got my money I never heard from said lawyer again! All communication ceased, besides the occasional response back I’d get from their paralegal(who gave me inaccurate info to begin with)! When I went in to review my paperwork, it had other people names and info on it! Very flippant about it. Took two more weeks to even file it! I got frustrated and said please don’t file it im going to find another lawyer and it was conveniently filed the same day. Zero communication once they got my hard earned money. It was so bad trying to get someone to respond that I dismissed my case and asked for a refund. I am on day 14 of “I will update you as soon as I can”,” counsel hasn’t let me know”, “ you may not even get any money back”!! I’ve never felt so insulted or bamboozled in my life and they made 3700 to do nothing. Stay away!! Go somewhere else!! Just shameful the way they treat people.**12/23/22still waiting for even an update****UPDATE—12/29/22–still not one single returned phone call or email****UPDATE-1/5/23–per email “request is still waiting for review”! This was received AFTER 5 unanswered emails!!!**UPDATE-1/13/23…emails and phone calls still go unanswered! Last response was “request is still in review”. Very unprofessional…take your money elsewhere**UPDATE 1/27/23- after sending 14 emails and a few phone messages I received “it’s is still under review “.**update 2/15/23-emails still go unresolved and only response I get is “counsel has been too busy to review”—two months for two months it’s been “unreviewed”.**update3/3/23- FINALLY got an email back stating “to contact NC mediator to dispute fee”…after three months it’s contact someone else to dispute—oh I plan to!! Scammers!!!!! Save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere

Before stepping in the door and talking to any of these so called “lawyer” first look at all the reviews about people after retaining their services and not being able to get in contact with anyone. We started our process with HEB almost three years ago. When I mean they did nothing. I mean they did absolutely nothing. They lost our paper working including our child’s birth certificate 2x. They never met timelines that THEY set for themselves. They never returned calls. And constantly hired incompetent paralegals. Let me be completely clear, These guys are either the most incompetent “lawyers” in the state of nc or they are crooks. It truly takes an awful organization to take advantage of people in their most dire need. Don’t get distracted by the supposed advertisements all over the city of Fayetteville. You would honestly do better representing yourself. You WILL NOT be able to talk to your lawyer in a timely manner. YOU WILL NOT be informed about your case in a reasonable manner. They will change lawyers on you without your knowledge. These guys are completely incompetent and should not be able to practice law. Once they have your money they pretty much no longer care about your case. If you have already retained them and your wondering what’s going on? Is this normal? The answer is no. They are actively screwing you.

James Wernli: My case that Mr. Hogan handled took a couple of years to settle mainly because Cumberland County wanted to drag it out as long as they could before we actually had to go to court. During the process Mr. Hogan let me know the details or news that he had received from the DA's office in a timely manner and what my options were at that time. When we did finally go to court Mr. Hogan was really supportive and let me know step by step on how the trial process worked. While we were in trial Mr. Hogan was very professional and polite and very knowledgeable. I can say honestly that I am glad I hired him for my court case. Sherlly Cadeau: This firm is extremely unprofessional and dismissive. When I moved to NC in 2018, 2 days later, I was involved in a automobile accident. The day after my accident, I went to see a Chiropractor. I explained to him what occurred in terms of my accident and he recommended me to this Firm. Silly me, I neglected to do my homework on reputable Law Firms in the area which I now REGRET... I’m almost 3 years in to dealing with this firm and I found it extremely odd that I had to collect a lot of my own medical records myself due to the lackadaisical performance of Quinn’s paralegal Liz. I’ve called that firm so many time and asked to return my multiple calls and got maybe, 1-2 meaningless call back from 2018 up till now, 2021🤦🏾‍♀️. I called a few more times over the pass weeks and asked to spk with my paralegal so I can get some update on my paperwork and I was told that liz wasn’t available till next week and they will have her give me a call when she returns (again, I got nothing the following week.) I called again a few days later and ask to spk with Mrs. Quinn and was told she wouldn’t be available until next week and they will have her give me a call the following week and AGAIN, I got nothing. I called yesterday again twice to spk with my lawyer and AGAIN, I got nothing😡. Prior to that I’ve made multiple trips to the law firm hoping I’ll find this Lawyer so we can sit down and discuss my case and I wasn’t surprise that I came up short AGAIN. Every time I try to contact Risa she was either not available or on vacation. Every time i asked the staff to have her return my callS, I got nothing. Now I’m fed up!!! I had to call a lawyer thats not affiliated with this firm to get advice about my case, which is pretty pathetic, and to my surprise he told me that personal injury Lawyer has up to 3 years to Seattle my case or else it will get dismissed. Whether this information was stated in my contract or not, you would think Quinn’s Law Firm would of given me a courtesy call about getting close to the deadline. My case is obviously extensive. Ive seen over 15 doctors for a permanent injury that I now have to live with from this MVA so therefore, I have a plethora amount of medical records that they need to collect and I don’t feel like they are working hard enough on my case. I believe this firm is not capable of dealing with serious accident cases like mine. The entire team comes across clueless which is extremely frustrating and concerning for me because now I’m dealing with more than one issue which are my injuries and the lackadaisical firm staffs. I still have an open case and I still have not spoken to my lawyer yet since the initial visit and one other time to drop of a list of doctors that that I’ve seen from the accident. I have very little to no hope that I will get the settlement that I deserve based on what I’m experiencing with this firm. I guess I will soon find out and I will make sure that I write another review, whether good or bad, after my settlement.So my advice to everyone thats reading this is to do your homework if you feel your case needs to be treated like it’s the law firms love ones case. S John: Mr. Gilliam helped my dad with his will, POA and healthcare POA. He was very knowledgeable. He even helped my dad get VA benefits that we did not know he was eligible for. He was the best and I would highly recommend him.

B Gray: This law firm was put in place as the guardian over our family member's estate, by the court, and I would not recommend them to anybody. We could never get in touch with the lawyer or receive any feedback on the status of anything that was supposed to be done. There would be questions we had relating to the process, but still wouldn't receive a call back, email, or anything.
