This occurred over 3 months after paying a 50% deposit and placing our order for a shower door and shower glass. We were initially given a 3 week turn around time for our custom order that turned into a 3 month+ wait without an end in sight. We were often left with no communication from our sales associate, further when we did receive updates about our order they were initiated by us and were unnecessary excuses about why our order was never actually processed or accepted by their manufacturing company. I would not recommend this company to anyone in the future.

First told I was to use insurance vendor, Safelite, but after previous experience with them & unhappy with their workmanship and product with another vehicle I was able to go with Metz! Dennis, who did the install was awesome! He is OCD just like myself!! Beautiful job and attention to detail he even repositioned my oil change sticker back on the “new” windshield!!! Derek Ashmore: This is by far the absolute best place in the entire area to get any sort of glass either replaced or installed. They not only specialize in replacing any broken glass window in your vehicle-whether it’s the windshield, back glass, any door glass, or even the side view mirrors (and they’ll order the exact same glass that comes from the factory in your car, or a cheaper option if you’d like) and they do an excellent and surprisingly fast job at replacing the glass. I just had my new BMWs rear door window busted out by some thief to steal things from inside and Metz was the cheapest place in town by FAR. Several places wouldn’t even attempt to replace my window because they “won’t work on BMWs.” And Safelite was literally twice as expensive. I called Metz on a Thursday and they obviously had to order my window and due to the weekend, it arrived on Monday (which is still a timely manner IMO) and they installed my new window as soon as I arrived monday and it only took maybe an hour or so from start to finish to fully replace it, which is a testament to how well Dennis, the technician who replaced my window, is at his job. He removed the entire inside door and trim as well as the outer door trim and old window and weather stripping and installed the new one and made sure it was perfectly aligned and that it rolled up and down as it should before he replaced everything, which he did so very quickly, efficiently and professionally (and there was a LOT of pieces of trim and such to replace on the door and it was complicated to do as well, due to it being a German car, which are notorious for overly complicated things.) He also made sure to get out each and every last bit of glass from inside the door as well before installing the new window. Once he was done you’d never know it had a completely shattered window an hour prior. It was so much less of a headache than I anticipated and was definitely quicker to replace too. I cannot recommend Metz enough, and I thank the owner and his wife (who runs the front end and ordered my window for me and is also very kind and helpful) and a huge thank you to Dennis for removing and installing my new window so quickly and professionally. He clearly knows his stuff, as he was able to do the entire process whilst talking to me in the garage. Also, if you need ANY sort of glass or window or anything for your home or business-like in your bathroom or shower doors, gym, etc) definitely call Metz first. They offer literally every single type of glass that exists and have samples in the front office/showroom to let u see in person what it looks like, and I assure you it’ll be installed perfectly and for the absolute best price in town. Not to mention everyone who works there is extremely kind and helpful and I just cannot thank or praise them enough. Not to mention they’re a local business rather than a huge national chain and id much rather support the real people that live and work and provide for my community than a huge chain. And the Metz family have been in the business for almost 100 years! So you can be sure that you’re in good hands with people who know their stuff.

I asked the online chat help if I could schedule them both at the same time and if I could get the $50 off for there only being one trip and them both being in the same location. She said yes, be sure to put in the notes that you are getting both cars done at the same location and there shouldn't be two charges.Day of the service the tech wants to come over early, and I'm all for it. He starts on the Jetta first and then the Passat. Jetta goes well. The back window wiper gets broken. and the tech says the insist on coming back out to replace it. Never heard back from the shop or the manager. I wanted to replace it myself and just get the parts taken off the bill. ?? Manager never called me back.So overall two fails on the business for not getting back to me. Not really horrible, but def not a 5 star review. I hope my glass holds up.

Aaron Dizon: Don’t let anyone from this location try to fix anything besides your car glass! My brother went and tried to get his window fixed due to the window now operating up and down. They did not fix the issue, installed the wrong part, told my brother to get a specific part that is supposedly going to fix his window. After all is said and done, the window is still not operating and my brother had to spend his money in another wrong part.Called and spoke to the Manager to try and get some, not all money back and asked on why they didn’t try to diagnose the fault before actually trying to fix the issue. And to my surprise the Manager said that they didn’t have to diagnose it because the worker has over 20 years of experience. I mean is it just me or if you have that experience, you should know to diagnose the vehicle to locate the actual cause of the problem. We didn’t get my brother’s money back, I’m putting this review to save anyone in the future, you’re better off buying a diagnostic tool and do it yourself instead of taking it to this place. 10/10 would not recommend. Not going back nor even recommending this place to anyone.

I have small children who usually sit in this seating area where the glass broke.I went into the office and they told my husband one thing and me something completely different. Also they fraudulently updated my reports to make it seem as if I have only been waiting on this glass since last month when in all actuality it has been since JULY of 2022.They have came out with the wrong glass for this area a few times and then bought the right glass and couldn’t reach insurance. Took the right glass back and haven’t seen it since. Scheduled me yet another appointment just to bring out the wrong glass again. Asked me to bring my vehicle so they could make sure it was the correct vehicle even though we have done this numerous times.All I have gotten is apologies. Was told the area manager would be involved and I would receive a call back. Once again haven’t heard anything and it has been the same thing for months. The check they sent me for them is about to expire again and I will have to get a new check ordered. This is with having insurance.
