John Stinson: They wouldn't accept insurance for medicine. Cape fear says its because it's express service.. do not use if you have insurance. $56 bill that should have been $9 if cape fear accepted insurance. Seems unethical and maybe criminal

Michele Runge (KITTY): Repeatedly they have got my medicines filled late and I suffer due to this. I transferred all my prescriptions to Walgreens in Hope Mills and yet they still filled them at the Grove Street store and I have no way to go that far to get my medicine. To get a ride from Medicaid you have to give them a two-day notice so I will be suffering for days. This is horrible. This has happened since I transferred them in October 2022 to this location. I'm still suffering!
Desiree Norah: the pharmacist, Mr. Lee, was very rude and unprofessional. i had a few questions about a perception i had never had and he was responded as if the questions i was asking were ignorant. i also had questions about a second prescription and he did not know what i was talking about and instead of looking up my records he chose to ask a women what i had told him it was called loudly as if there wasn’t already a bunch of people around. i will be calling back to speak with a different pharmacist that can actually answer my questions
Sandra Young: Been using this pharmacy for years. Recently I have been able to get around better and have been there to get immunized for COVID. Katrina gave me the attention needed and it was painless.The process went smooth. Nathaniel the pharmacist explains things and tells you about your medication in a way that you will understand. The pharmacy staff care about your well-being at this location. Esse Cisco Sandra and Alexis try their best to move the lines.
Dana Horne: The lady at the window was very nice. The medicine I needed, they had. However...I was the 3rd car in line at the drive-thru and from pulling up to leaving...43 minutes. Car after car that pulled up behind me, drove off. If my Mother did not immediately need her meds, I would have driven off, also.

Sabrina Wearins: For the most part, I liked this pharmacy ok. But there is this one dude, on October 22, 2022 about 5:30 pm, that was not nice or helpful. He always has an attitude and rushes you off, as if you're bothering him. I asked about the prescriptions that my email confirmed were ready. He said I had one. I tried telling him that my email confirmed there were more. He ignored me and rushed me off. So I pulled back around the drive thru again, for me to tell him the same thing. He asked me my DOB, I told him. Then all of a sudden I had 2 more prescriptions ready. HahaI tried to tell him that the first time. He definitely is a negative person to work the drive thru window. Such a drab and not nice. So I have decided to leave this pharmacy and go back to Walmart after many years here at Walgreens. I can NOT take the rudeness and the inability to fill and give the prescriptions that are filled or need to be filled. Just pathetic.
AceFrm159: Would leave zero stars if it was possible! I get the same prescription every month and I’ve run into problems with this pharmacy. It’s never in stock and you don’t find out until the day you need it! You call and they put you on hold, when you finally get someone they have no answers and talk to you like your an infant!

Tami: This is my local Walgreens where I basically use for my pharmacy more than for shopping purposes. The building is old & could use a facelift for sure 😉 The inside has always been clean & the staff some what welcoming. The issue I have is with the pharmacy 😏 They are slow & somewhat rude. I won’t even go inside to pick up my meds because of this! One time when I went inside I stood at the counter literally for 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged me & I was at the Express Pickup 🤦🏼♀️ Since then I refuse to go inside & now use the Drive Thru which is a disaster in itself 😠 There is only 1 lane that can be used & if you go between 3-7 pm except to be waiting in line for 15-30 minutes. I don’t understand why they are so extremely slow at this location 🤷🏼♀️ And forget trying to call the pharmacy, what a joke! I have been on hold for 45 minutes more times than not. That’s just their norm for this pharmacy. I’ve given this Walgreens ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️’s because of the pharmacy, not for the store. Just beware if you’re considering using the pharmacy at this location.

Denise Delgado: The people in the Pharmacy are worked to death. This is NOT because of the pandemic. This has been going on for the past 6 years that I’ve lived here. Those poor people have been swamped, abused by customers for things out of their control, and they are exhausted. Every time I go in there the employees are trying to help a long line of people inside and in the drive thru. I can’t even imagine having to deal with phone calls on top of that. They need to hire MORE employees so the employees and customers can be happy. I’m sick of companies demanding the impossible from their employees. That’s why they are miserable and that’s why the pharmacy is a disaster.

The call system takes forever and I was waiting in the phone for more than 40 minutes. This place is ridiculous. I went to buy my son medicine and they refused to give me my sons medicine. They refused and start to disrespecting me and that the end I walked out with no medicine for my son.
