Monica L Morgan: Tried Burney's last month when I was in town, it was good. Made the mistake of going back and it was not good at all. The apple fritter was thick and doughy and lacked apples. Honey or something was missing with the honeybun. Very disappointed.

Johnnie Bryant: Went in last week and they had nothing that we asked for. (Fritter, Bearclaw). Don’t advertise what you don’t have. Not only didn’t they have what we asked for, she didn’t even make an attempt to see if we wanted anything else or when it would be available. Terrible service. Waste of drive.

Whitney A: I needed a simple red velvet cake for a family members birthday celebrations and found Burney’s online. I went in person on a early Friday afternoon to place the order, the girl taking my order seem new because she didn’t seem to know what was going on when writing my order down. I was told to email my inspiration picture because the lady taking my order didn’t know how to describe it and I would say the decorations idea was simple. I emailed the picture, set pick up for Monday at noon, paid for the cake in advance, and left out. An hour goes by and I notice the email didn’t go through, so I called the store back and asked if they could verify they received my email but the lady that answered the phone said she didn’t have access to the email and the person would call me back. Well I never received a call back, until I gave them at 8am Monday morning to make sure they got the picture. On the phone call Monday morning a young lady informed me the person who controlled the email was still not in work but assured me my cake would be ready by noon. I go in at noon to pick up the cake and I was just baffled by the presentation. It was so sloppy and had icing missing from the bottom at the cake board but I had to accept the cake because I had to have it to the celebration 30 minutes later. Once I took it out the cake box you can see places were the icing was put on thick enough and could see the red velvet underneath and it was sliding off the cake board. We cut into the cake and taste like it had been frozen and smelled like cardboard. I feel like my cake was rushed and just slapped together.

Amber Kim: Artificial, boxed, and frozen. I don’t know how this place has 4.5 stars. The staff was helpful but those sweets were horrid.

Juan Ramos: I arrived at 1:00 and they stopped serving coffee so I can't rate their drinks. The line wasn't long and I decided to order some muffins, an eclair, and a Raspberry lemon drop.Everything tasted alright.I might have arrived too late on a Saturday to see their full assortment of treats.

Rosezatte McGee: I like this place somewhat, but the best bakery is none other than SUPERIOR BAKERY IN HOPEMILLS. They have the best iced and filled crossiants and doughnuts and pastries cookies. Heck everything they have there is No. 1#. Love Superior Bakery.

Matt M.: I love going to Superior but now that I have been introduced to Burney’s, this will be our new spot (it’s closer and hits the same way). I literally had to stop myself from consuming the dozen assorted glazed and filled croissants we bought. So freaking good!!

Tina Davis: This week was the first time I learned of this establishment. We are celebrating National Laboratory Week at the hospital and I found an eight foot table covered in boxes of pastries from Burney's. I took a few and was amazed at how fresh and delicious they were. I am not sure if they come with a next day, freshness guarantee but I took a few again this morning and it felt as if it was fresh from the bakery. Great job! I hope to visit in person soon to see the entire selection.

Billie Faircloth: While on Skibo, I Googled Blue Bell Ice Cream near me. Suga Mama's popped up. I'm pretty sure I was greeted at the door by Suga Mama herself! She gave me a brief rundown of all the delicious treats they had they had to offer. I passed on the cheese cake in the cooler and fresh cotton candy that was being spun to order. The smell was devine! They have the most unique treat that I will be back to try..HUGE dill pickles wrapped in cotton candy. Yep, you read that right! I am so glad I found Suga Mama's! Always on the look out to support small businesses!

Kookie Allen: This business is people friendly. Not only is the dessert amazing but the people who own this place are also. They go over and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. Sometimes they maybe busy but there are 2 benches where you can sit and they don’t forget who’s next in line. Now that’s amazing customer service. I may just go today.

Tati's Nails: I absolutely adore this shop! It’s delicious and I am not just saying that because I know them. The ice cream they serve is top quality Blue bell. I also enjoy that in the store there are two options, let’s say I’m getting a cotton candy pickle. I can quickly get that and check out but with ice cream, there might be a wait. The candy manager is hand crafting each dessert for all customers by herself that you can watch! I would wait for that instead of some sort of rushed, distasteful order. She does a terrific job and I truly do not mind the wait. I will continue supporting a black owned candy store by our fellow veteran, who is also a small town celebrity ✨ Come try it out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed and leave your negativity at home because the energy they bring is intoxicating and amazing!

DeColla Walcott: Do not go here. I had a horrible experience today. I am a veteran with disabilities that do not allow me to stand up long. They are very disorganized and disrespectful. My son and I wanted to try a new place to get ice cream that was near our home. There were so many choices it took us a while to figure out what we wanted, but once we decided, we were ignored. I watched her complete 3 orders while we were waiting at the register to order. I tried to stand as long as I could, but we had to leave without ordering. I was upset, in pain, and embarrassed. I told her I was ready to order, and she went out of her way to show me that she no longer cared about getting our business. This is what happens when you try to support small minority businesses. Bad attitudes and even worse customer service. I would rather pay more money and be treated with respect somewhere else. I wanted to see if they catered for the many parties I plan, but that is a no-go. Money is tight for most people these days. Don't waste your money here.

I must say, when you walk in; if Heaven had a scent, it would be the sweet smell of Suga Mamas. I don’t know what she was working on in the back, but it smelled DELICIOUS! We were greeted with one of the warmest of welcomes from the young lady at the counter. Customer service was ON POINT and we got to meet the Suga Mama herself! There was so much to choose from and if we had not been careful, we would have bought the WHOLE store! Everything is affordable which makes it a dangerous place to be when you have money to blow. I am pleased with the experience and we will return!! GEE WHIZZ!!!!

Naomi Collier: I usually order their food off of Uber Eats, DD, etc. But today I decided to see what my one of my favorite restaurants look like. Not only was the dining room absolutely gorgeous and pleasant to the eyes. But the food was OF COURSE good. I tried something new today and I absolutely loved it. All the employees were very sweet, and constantly checked on me to make sure I was enjoying my food. I also think their opening and closing schedule is very cool, I didn’t know about it, however I like it and wish it was more common in America. I surely hope the Lord YHWH blesses that entire restaurant and the people in it. Thank you! Unfortunately I’ve been intermediate fasting lately so I did not get past like majority of the food due to my appetite getting smaller. But thankfully take out exist! Jurakan Gaming: WOW!! My family and I ate here and we left mind blown. The tandoori lamb chops were amazing, the lamb curry was best we’ve had. The desserts were delicious. The Lassi drink was really good i had both sweet and salty and prefer the sweet one. Service was really good friendly atmosphere we felt welcomed since the moment we opened the door. Would definitely recommend and will be attending many more times.

Shrawan Mangalam: They are open for lunch till 2:30 pm and last order by 1:45 pm. We stopped here for lunch and were group of 7 with 2 senior citizens while traveling from SC to Raleigh. I called them at 1:30 to place the order over phone to avoid last minute rush and still follow their last order rule BUT they refused. Finally we were inside the restaurant exactly at 1:45 but they refused dine in and accepted only take away. Not sure why such non human intensive service.
